South Korea's foreign minister will be in the US today
to help bring home some three hundred Korean workers arrested
last week working illegally at a Georgia Hyundai plant. The
plan is to fly the workers, mostly employed by subcontractors,
home on chartered flights. South Korea's government has expressed displeasure
with the public release of footage of the arrests. While
it's been trying to finalize a trade deal with the US,

Speaker 1 (00:52):
Trump scolded a reporter, telling her to be quiet, then asked,
do you know how many people were killed in Chicago
last weekend? He answered his own question by saying eight
people were killed and seventy four wounded. He concluded by asking,
do you think there's worse than that? I don't think so.
Trump made the comments before flying to New York to
watch the men's final of the US Open. I'm Mark Mayfield.

Chrysler parent company Stillentis is recalling over ninety one thousand
Jeep Grand Cherokee hybrids. Rob Martyr explains.
Speaker 3 (02:13):
It's due to a software malfunction. The NHTSA noted that
some Jeep Grand Cherokee plug in hybrid electric vehicles from
twenty twenty two to twenty twenty six may have an
overloading of the battery pack control module microprocessor, causing it
to reset. When this happens, the hybrid control processor can
misinterpret signals from the battery pack control module, possibly resulting
(02:35):
in the loss of drive power. I'm Rob Martyr.
