Researchers reported at an American Heart Association meeting in Baltimore
that deaths from high blood pressure related kidney disease increased
by almost half in the US. The study results showed
that the highest death rates were among Black Americans, followed
by Hispanics. The studies researcher said, despite national efforts to

reduce health inequalities, black individuals still had over three times
death rate compared to other groups. Federal health official sayes
salmonella outbreak link to a brand of home delivery meals
has sickened over a dozen people and hospitalized seven more
