President Trump says he has a high degree of certainty
that the person who murdered conservative activist Charlie Kirk has
been apprehended. Multiple reports have identified this suspect as twenty
two year old Utah resident Tyler Robinson. Trump said somebody
who was very close to him turned him in. Justice
correspondent Ken Delanyan says the president's announcement came as somewhat

of a surprise given the apparent state of the investigation.

They were struggling as of last night. They said they
didn't know who this person was or where this person was.
So clearly the imagery that they put out last night,
at least according the President, was the difference and allowed
someone close to this person to recognize this person.

Trump made the comment in an interview earlier this morning
on Fox News, saying more information would be made available later.
Kirk was shot and killed on Wednesday while speaking at
a college event or in Utah. Retired FBI agent Rob
Demico with what is going on right now behind the scenes.

Right now, I hear the FBI is gearing up for
a search of physical search warrant somewhere in southern Utah,
So they're identifying places maybe where he resided or lived
or anything associated with him is going to get a
search warrant and they're going to send teams in very
meticulously looking for electronics, anything that's going to time back.

Law enforcement is set to hold the press conference in
Utah shortly. Tensions are high on historically black colleges and
universities across the nation after a full day of threats
led to campus lockdowns. Tammi Trehio with.

Atlanta University, Southern University, and Spelman to name a few,
were disrupted due to shelter and place orders. The FBI

Comedy Central has decided not to air reruns of that episode,

the episode appearing to poke fun at Kirk, he brushed
off the parody when asked about it during an interview
