director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation is facing charges.
The Department of Justice says it has a solid case
against former FBI director James Comy. Thursday at charged Comy
with making false statements and obstruction of justice. It involves

testimony he gave before the Senate in twenty twenty on
his handling of the investigation into possible Russian collusion with
President Trump in the twenty sixteen election. Todd Blanche, the
Justice Department's number two officials, says the case was investigated
by the FBI and taken seriously by the grand jury
in Virginia. Blanche insists there was no pressure from President

Trump to prosecute Comy. The Supreme Court is ruling President
Trump has the power to cut over four billion dollars
in foreign aid. The Supreme Court's decision puts a lower
court's ruling that then he must be spent on hold.
The High Court ruled it's unlikely the groups suing half
standing to pursue the claim, and that Trump's foreign policy

power outweighs their alleged harms. It was a six to
three decision, with all three liberals on the court dissenting.
The Trump administration says it's quote committed to getting America's
fiscal house in order by cutting government spending that is woke, weaponized,

North Dakota in a Christmas Eve twenty twenty three shooting
is scheduled to stand trial next March. Rob Dawson has

Daniel Brajo is facing a murder charge and the killing
of Nicholas Van Pelt and a charge of aggravated assault
for shooting his girlfriend, Jenny Babcock. The judge rejected a
proposed plea deal that would have allowed Breo to plead
guilty demandslaughter and spend twenty years at prison. Breyo now
faces the chance of life in prison if convicted on
both charges.

And the superintendent of the largest public school district in
Iowa is now in ice custody. I'm Jim Forbes. Over
one million countertop ovens are being recalled following reports of injuries,
According to a Consumer Product Safety Commission announcement, Sunbeam Products
Incorporated has issued a recall of Auster French store countertop
ovens due to a potential burn hazard. The ovens were

sold nationwide from August twenty fifteen to July twenty twenty
five at bed Betham, Beyond, Costco, and Walmart, as well
as on Amazon dot com and overstock dot Com. Impact
ovens have a spring loaded bilateral glassdoor, and the company
said it's received ninety five reports of the door's closing unexpectedly,

which results in burns to users. The NYPD says the
teen suspect in that deadly shooting of a thirteen year

He turned himself in on Friday after police release surveillance photos.
He's sixteen years old and attends Campus Magnet High School
near the Cambria Heights Dunkin Donuts where the shooting occurred.
On Monday. A bullet struck thirteen year old Sanjay Samuel
in the head, and he was declared dead two days later.

Police say it was a targeted attack involving a dispute
between the teens. At this point, no charges have been filed.

Delays and power outages are growing in the Las Vegas
area following a wave of thunderstorms that moved through the area,
and the Energy reports over thirteen thousand customers are without
power in Clark County. Nearly five hundred flights Friday were
delayed in and out of Harry Reid International Airport with
a handful of cancelations. The severe weather prompted a grounding

of all departures for about eighty minutes, and one battle
after another is off to a good start at the
box office. It's expected to make between twenty and twenty
five million dollars in its debut weekend. Also new this
week is the kids movie Gabby's Dollhouse, which is projected
