The Justice Department says it has a solid case against
former FBI director James Comy. Comy was charged Friday with
making false statements and obstruction of justice. It involves testimony
he gave before the Senate in twenty twenty on his
handling of the investigation into possible Russian collusion with President
Trump in the twenty sixteen election. As alleged, these are

the grand jury returned an indictment. Todd Blanche, the Justice
Department's number two official, says the case was investigated by
the FBI and taken seriously by the grand jury in Virginia.
Blanche also insists there was no pressure from President Trump
to prosecute Komy. President Trump will meet with Israeli Prime

Moines Superintendent doctor Ian Roberts. On Friday, official say Roberts
is an illegal immigrant with no work authorization and a
criminal record. When agents approached, they say he took off

was in possession of a loaded handgun, a hunting knife,
and three thousand dollars cash. Roberts was born in Guyana
and came to the US on a student visa in
nineteen ninety nine. He became head of Des Moines Public

The Trump administration is asking the Supreme Court to rule
on the President's executive order seeking to end automatic birthright citizenship.
On Friday, the Administerstuation asked for a definitive ruling on
whether the executive order is constitutional. The current interpretation of
the fourteenth Amendment allows anyone born on US soil to
be granted citizenship, except children of foreign diplomats. Meanwhile, the

Trump administration argues birthright citizenship does not apply to the
children of temporary legal visitors or illegal immigrants. A former
soldier at Joint Base Lewis McCord in Tacoma, Washington has
been sentenced to twenty five years in federal prison or
sexual abuse of four children. Jonathan Gentry was originally prosecuted
in military court for sexually molesting two thirteen year olds.

He was sentenced to two years in military prison. In
twenty twenty three, four more victims came forward with allegations
Gentry had threatened them and their families if they told anyone.
Following prison, Gentry will be on supervised release for twenty years.
