The government has partially shut down after Congress failed to
approve an who's spending bill. President Trump spoke Tuesday ahead

thousands of federal workers are on furlough due to the shutdown.
Starting today, Federal employees whose jobs don't protect life or
property are being told not to come to work. Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid,

and the Postal Service will continue operating. Air traffic controllers,
TSA agents, ice officers, prison staff, and active duty military
members are expected to continue working without pay. They'll receive
backpay when the shutdown ends. Turning Point USA held its
first event in Utah. Since the assassination of its founder,

delivering remarks at a similar event on the campus of
Utah Valley University. His accused killer could face the death

to the southern California mainland when he was attacked Tuesday morning.
