Senators will make another attempt today and the federal government
shutdown now in its third week. A vote is planned,
but there's little sign of progress toward funding the government,
with both Democrats and Republicans seemingly dug in. More aid
is beginning to flow into Gaza now that President Trump's
peace deal has been signed, but it's unclear what happens

next under the agreement. Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister Sharon Haskell
says establishing an administration to run Gaza should be the
short term focus.

Trump's really talking about effective step to create peace, coexistence,
and stability between Israelis and Palestinian.

President Trump has returned to the White House after visiting
Israel and attending the summit in Egypt, where he signed
a peace declaration. The statement, which was also signed by
the leaders of Egypt cut up in Turkey, backs elasting
peace between Israel and the Palestinians. It emphasizes equal rights
for both sides, but stop short of recognizing Palestinian statehood.

The White House will be hosting a celebration of conservative
podcaster Charlie Kirk's life today Mark Mayfield with more.

President Trump says he'll be possing mostly awarding Kirk the
Presidential Medal of Freedom.

bill that makes it easier for relatives to step in
as a child's caregiver if their parents are deported. More

musicians on Broadway as authorized as strike. Scott Pringle reports.

The musicians have been trying to negotiate a new contract
and the sticking points appear to be over wages and
health care benefits. No word yet if a strike will happen,
but on Monday it was authrived through a vote and
it would impact a lot of shows on Broadway if
there is a strike. Meanwhile, the Broadway League has been
struggling to get a new contract in place for the
actor and stage manager Union. A mediator is being brought

in on Friday for their negotiations.

The creator of K pop Demon Hunter says she's not
interested in a live action remake. Maggie Kang told the
BBC that elements of the movie wouldn't translate to a
live action format. Co director of the film, Chris Applehans
shared that sentiment adding the animation allows for things that
may be deemed impossible if tried in a live context.

The animated hit movie was released on Netflix in June
and became the platform's most watched movie in history. And
the MLB postseason continuing with the Championship series, the Mariners
blew out the Blue Jays ten to three and are
