In just four minutes, current and former NBA players and
coaches have been arrested and are now facing charges in
connection with federal investigations into gambling. FBI Director Cash Mattel
announced who was involved. Individuals such as Chauncey, Billups, Damon Jones,
and Terry Razier were taken into custody today former current

NBA players and coaches. Overall, more than thirty people are
facing charges in connection with the cases. Rozier was active
for the Heat season opener last night against the Magic
but didn't play, while Billups, who is the head coach
of the Blazers, did coach last night. The NBA said

from their teams and the league is reviewing the indictments.

The Senate has rejected a measure that would have paid
some federal workers who stayed on the job during this
government shutdown. The bill that would pay air traffic controllers,
military members, border patrol agents, and other essential workers failed
by a vote of fifty four to forty five. This
comes as the shutdown is now in its twenty third day.
After the Senate failed yesterday for the twelfth time to
pass a funding bill that would have reopened the government.

in the West Bank. The President told Time magazine that
it won't happen, but asserted Israel would lose support from

the annexation efforts. Trump's warning comes as the Israeli government

the region. The East wing of the White House is
being demolished to allow for construction of President Trump's new ballroom.
Trump said yesterday that he was tearing down the entire
East Wing to make space for his ninety thousand square
foot ballroom. According to a recent UG of America poll,
a majority of Americans said they disapprove of the ballroom plans.

Fifty three percent of respondents said they strongly or somewhat
disapprove of the decision to demolish part of the East Wing,

Valley school bus driver in California, has been suspended after
posting a viral TikTok video mocking a special need student.

District officials say the video sparked widespread outrage after the
driver complained about a child boarding her bus with a

Unified School District confirms the driver has been placed on
administrative leave while the incident is under investigation. EA Sports
