In just four minutes, a UPS cargo jet exploded in
an enormous fireball while taking off from Louisville'smuhammad Ali International
Airport late this afternoon. NBC's Tom Costello reports UPS flight
twenty nine to seventy six was en route to Honolulu
and was carrying a large amount of fuel when it crashed.

There's been the shelter in place order for in a
five mile radius, in part because you've got just a
massive amount of jet fuel that's on fire right now.
That's a toxin on top of that. We don't know
if there were any hazardous materials on board that plane
that could also be a toxin. So this is a
major aviation incident right now.

I witness video shows the MD eleven wide body jet
rolling down the runway with what appeared to be flames
shooting from one side of the aircraft. It's not known
whether anyone on the ground was injured. Three crew members

former Vice President Dick Cheney's funeral planning or service. Cheney's
family announced his passing today, saying in a statement that
he died due to complications of pneumonia and cardiac and
vascular disease. Cheney was eighty four. President Trump is once
again nominating Jared Isaacman to lead NASA. It comes after

the President pulled the tech billionaire's nomination earlier this year,
citing quote a thorough review of prior associations end quote.

Thursday shareholder meeting, we'll focus on the fate of Elon
Musk's one trillion dollar performance based compensation package and his
continuing control of Tesla. During a recent earnings call, Musk
pushed for greater control, saying there needs to be enough
voting control to give a strong influence, but not so
much quote that I can't be fired if I go insane.

The nation's top ten billionaires have collectively added nearly seven
hundred billion dollars to their fortunes in the past year,
driving their overall worth to two and a half trillion
dollars as according to a new report from the nonprofit
Oxfam America. On the opposite end of those stats, the
report noted that all or forty percent of the country
fall into the low income category, with family earnings less

What started out as a single Facebook post in Nashville
is now inspiring a nationwide effort to help family struggling
with food costs with the uncertainty of Snap benefits. Brooke Tansley,
a local mom juggling two jobs, created a Snap Grocery
Buddy system, connecting neighbors who need help with volunteers willing
to shop, share lists, or provide gift cards. The idea

has caught on quickly, linking more than one hundred families
locally in Tansley's Facebook prompt being copied by people from
Maryland to California to start similar programs in their own communities.
Tansley says the goal is simple, which is to make
sure no family goes hungry, while highlighting the importance of
