A federal judge is blocking President Trump from deploying the

US Sister Court Judge Charles Bryar granted a preliminary injunction
to California officials who opposed an extension of President Trump's
use of State Guard troops to protect federal personnel and
property without the governor's approval. Thursday's ruling also orders control
of the Guard we returned to Governor Gavin Newsom. California
Attorney General Rob Bonta was pleased by the ruling, saying, quote,

about a different kind of driver list delivery. Officials for
the driverlest car company say a woman recently gave birth
while she was inside of Waymo headed to a hospital
in San Francisco. The passenger was apparently in labor Monday
night headed to the hospital. When Waymo's remote writer support
team determined that some unusual activity was happening in the car,

the company called nine to one one while the car
continued to head to the hospital. Officials say the mother
and newborn made it to the hospital safely. Starting today,
social media accounts in Australia are banned for kids under sixteen.
That includes Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, Snapchat. As Tammy
Truhiro reports, YouTube says the move could actually make Australian
children less safe on the internet.

The Australian government says it's protecting children from predatory algorithms.
Under the ban, Australian children will still be able to
visit YouTube, but without an account. A YouTube spokesperson says
users without an account we'll lose access to the platform,
safety filters and well being settings, making Australian kids less safe.

Holiday travel over Christmas and New Year's will break another record,
according to Triple A.

In the thirteen day holiday travel period, Triple A estimates
one hundred and twenty two point four million Americans will
be traveling. That's two point two percent higher than a

by plane, with flyers paying on average about seven percent
