Congress is hitting a critical moment in the healthcare fight,
with the Senate set to vote today on competing plans
as Affordable Care Act subsidies expire at year's end. One
Republican proposal would replace those subsidies with direct payments, while
a Democratic plan would extend them for three years, though
neither is expected to pass. At the same time, House

GOP leaders are advancing a health care package that leaves
out any ACA subsidy extension. An atmospheric river continues to
dump rain on Washington State, and record flooding is possible.

Seventy five thousand people who live near the Scadget River
being warned they might need to evacuate. All residents in
the city of Sumas, near the border with Canada are
being told to evacuate. There have been rescues by boat
and helicopter. A landslide trapped three vehicles Natter State, ninety
east of Seattle. No one was hurt. The National Guard
is being activated to help. I'm brad Ford.

Dozens of infants across the US may have contracted botulism
from tainted baby formula. Tammy Tricheo reports.

The FDA says, as of Wednesday, the outbreak includes at
least fifty one infants across nineteen states with suspected or
confirmed botulism who were exposed to buy Heart Whole Nutrition
infant formula. Federal health officials say the company's products may
have been tainted since March of twenty twenty two. The
by Heart baby formula company announced a voluntary recall last month.
The baby formula had been distributed nationwide and internationally, both

online and in stores. Multiple families of the babies who
have gotten sick from consuming the product are suing the company.

President Trump is turning up the heat on Indiana lawmakers,
warning them to pass the newly GOP drawn congressional maps.
He posted on true Social that Senate Republican leader Rod
Bray and others won't be in politics for long his

Four executives now charge with greasing their way to big
money cargo contracts with a major airline for their companies.

Four men were arraigned in Queen's Criminal Court Wednesday on
charges of bribery, money laundering, and fraud. The State AG's
office as the four used a web of companies to
pay a Delta Airlines official more than a quarter million
dollars over five years, plus gifts and trips to Vegas
and Atlantic City. The Delta official has yet to be
named or charged. The four cargo company executives could face

fifteen years in prison if convicted.

Holiday travel over Christmas and New Years will break another record,
according to Triple A More from Rory O'Neil.

In the thirteen day holiday travel period, Triple A estimates
one hundred and twenty two point four million Americans will
be thanks traveling. That's two point two percent higher than
a year ago, and a new record eight million will
travel by plane, with flyers paying on average about seven
percent more for a ticket than last year. Top domestic
