In just four minutes, an atmospheric river continues to dump
ring on Washington State and record flooding is possible. Meteorologist
Bill Carron's has the latest on the biggest concerns threatening
the area.

many of the rivers cresting. I'm mostly concerned with areas
on the Skaggett River, Snowhomish, and also snow Qualmie Rivers.
Those are the three big rivers that we're going to

One hundred thousand people who live near the Scadget River
are being warned they might need to evacuate. All residents
in the city of Sumus, near the border with Canada
are being told to evacuate. There have been rescues by
boat and helicopter. A landslide trapped three vehicles on Interstate

creating a militarized zone at the Mexican border in California.

The Interior Department is transferring about seven hundred and sixty
acres of public land in San Diego and Imperial Counties
to the Navy to support ongoing border security operations in
a new zone that will stretch from the Arizona border
to the Otai Mountains near San Diego. The statement claims
the area is quote one of the highest traffic regions

for unlawful crossings along the southern border. Critics of the
zone say it will turn the US military into border police.

Attorney General Pam Bondi says the oil tanker seized by
the United States off the coast of Venezuela was used
to transport sanctioned oil to Iran. Alice Bar reports the
seizure comes as the United States has been striking alleged
drug boats in the region.

The Venezuelan government now claiming President Trump's ramped up pressure
campaign against authoritarian leader Nicholas Maduro is about the country's
rich oil reserves instead of drug trafficking.
