Speaker 1 (00:03):
This is a podcast called twenty five whist talking fun
ball and they all went on whist so yes, but
why didn't you expect? It's a podcast called twenty five
Whistles presented by Draft Kings Sports Book, an official sports
betting partner of the NFL. Download the Draft Kings app

(00:24):
and use the code Bobby sports to get in on
the action. It's the only one. He's the only one, Kevin.
Would you love the whistle? Place? Where in my house?
I looked around too, like, oh, I had to leave
today and as quickly, so we had to delay and
we still got it up. We're good, but I don't

(00:44):
have a whistle. Since we're recording from my house. I
looked around and nobody had the whistle. Kevin still in
his Dak Prescott jersey. Yeah, looking good, Cowboy fan for life.
How about that blue that looks good on him? At
least I do like the color blue. It matches your
eyes everything, that's what it is. But at least it's
not a rival. But at least it's not a rival.

(01:05):
You're wearing a Yankees jersey or a Giant's jersey, Yeah,
that would be that suck for you. But a Cowboys Jersey.
It's just annoying because that he's staring at you, lusting
over you, and that or that thing on you. One
of the days, I have a friend that plays it's
his rookie year in the NBA, and I would say

(01:26):
it's not I would say a friend friend to somebody
that I have gotten to know, Jayla Williams, who plays
for the Thunder, and I guess, you know a little
bit whenever he was playing at Arkansas and I messaged
him and I said, you know, what's the biggest difference
in speed sized talent as compared to last year playing
at Arkansas versus playing for the Thunder, which he's been
playing a lot more for the Thunder since they're kind

(01:47):
of I don't say tanking, but there they don't want
to win a bunch of games, you know, Home' gonnas
out hurt all year and everybody's kind of in the
Bama Contest sweepstakes and they didn't have enough anyway to win, right,
So all that together, they're given their their young guys
a lot of playing time and Jalen has been old
benefit from that. So I said, what is it? He said, Well,

(02:08):
the difference is everybody's speed is crazy everybody's strength and
how much spacing there is on the floor. But the
hardest part is battling your mind. And I said, what
do you mean spacing as in more space because of
the shooting skill or less because it closes quickly because
there could be no space all of a sudden because
everybody's quick. And he said, more spacing because of the
shooting is way better and the defensive three seconds, So

(02:33):
five to three from college NBA, like, if you're gonna
get in the lane, is it like five? It's three?
But they they're cool with five in college. In college,
i've seen them like camp out. You feel like it's
more of a five. Even if they don't. I feel
like it's like you get a free second and then

(02:53):
we count and then it's like we'll give you a
second and then we call it. It's almost like in
the NFL on they to the play clock, like they
have to look see the zero, then look down and
see if the ball is not snapped. So it's almost
like you get extra half second. So it feels like
five seconds in the lane because if you just watch
the click to tick, everybody's in the lane for three seconds. Everyone.

(03:15):
But because of again that like the referee play call
rule in the NFL. It's where they don't blow the
whistle for delay a game until they see it pop
zero and then look down and see if the ball
is snapped. So there's like that half second flirtation there.
So but it's pretty cool. And then he's you know,
feeling the whole They're shooting from half court now like
shooting from all over. He had ten rebounds is first game.

(03:39):
Hit ten rebounds. The first game he started at zero points.
I think they were just like, don't shoot it if
you get it. I don't know if they said that,
but ten rebounds at no points. So but yeah, we're here,
we're good. Let's let's warm it up. What do you
spend too much money on around the room? Eddie? Golf?
I mean yeah, I mean that's what I spend all
my money on. Not gambling because I only have forty

(04:01):
dollars limit, but golf. I mean in this summer, I'm
playing probably every once a week, So you're doing fort
in green fee like every week. Say how it adds up? Man? Kevin?
Alcohol for sure, A couple of drinks here and there
and not, you know, on bottle of bourbon. Why not
forty dollars here, forty dollars there? That'll change. Yeah, after

(04:23):
what how old are you? A couple of things will happen. One,
you and your girlfriend will get a little more serious,
and if you don't have a whole lot of disposable income,
you'll want to use that differently. And then two you'll
just start to get a way fatter. I feel that
all right, it'll just start slowing down a little bit. Mike.
What do you spend too much money on coffee? For

(04:43):
a while, I was going to Starbucks every day and
it adds up. Yeah, yeah, it's so expensive, like eight bucks.
That's crazy for a drink. I know. It's like what
we complained about going to NFL game, but we do
it every day, drive through eight Bucks for a beer
in a game. And then it's they're like, oh, can
you believe it? You'll have a espresso now, baba, now

(05:04):
baba to beers are twenty dollars again, Like that's crazy.
I don't know. I don't know, but everybody complains about
prices and then and eight butt coffee basically the same thing.
I spent too much money on ordering like Uber eats.
It's just ridiculous. One. It's the fee, it's the tip,

(05:26):
it's just the food because it's it's it's just touching buttons.
So wine doesn't BROCOLI Let yeah, the great Hangover app
So that's what we spent too much money on there.
And let's go to Kevin and get in. He's taking
a drink, he's getting the loose tittles, Bobby, Who do

(05:54):
you think it's more likely to come back next season
for another season? Tom Brady or Aaron Rodgers. I think
they're They're both likely to come back. I think the
question is who's likeliest to not come back? Like of
the two, which one do you think would retire? I
do think they'll both be back, don't you Guys. I

(06:14):
don't know if Brady is going to be back. I'm
not convinced, Okay, but I'm saying if I fifty one
means you lean toward him coming back. I feel like
they're all coming back, like they're all leans. If we
had he had to bet yes or no, would you
bet that Brady is coming back? I would have to
bet yes. Would you bet the Rodgers coming I'll bet
the farm on that you would yes. So in your
mind then Rogers is for sure and Brady is not

(06:35):
asked for sure. Oh yeah, I think Rogers. What did
he say recently in a podcast? Like he said, I mean,
I can still m in his mind. Dude, this guy
is not retiring in the next ten years, said in
the right situation. Whatever that means, you can just tell
he's he's ready to keep proving that he's the best.
And he I mean, he's not considered the best, but
he wants to prove that he is the best. He

(06:57):
won't the VP last year, though, right, two years in
a row, so I do still think he is a
top five quarterback and could be a top three if
he's on a team that can help him a little bit.
I think they both come back, but I think because
Rogers is so quirky, I think he may be like, yeah,
I feel good, but I never felt better. I quit.
Oh interesting. I think Brady's back next year. I think

(07:20):
Rogers is back. But because he's such a wild card,
I'm gonna go with Rogers would retire just because he
wants people to be like, oh, he's crazy everyone. He
lives by his own rules. Well, I fall for that,
because I do think I feel like he's like a
one of those crazy thinkers, like, oh, I just think
about things. I like to free spirit, right, So in
that nature, I feel like he could easily just be

(07:42):
like I just want to go live on the land.
Maybe he goes away for a year, or maybe he
comes back halfway through a season. Maybe he comes back
left handed and wants to play slot. I don't know.
He's just a weird dude. And I do think Brady's
coming back. So I'm going with Aaron Rodgers most likely
to not come back, just simple because he likes to
be known as quirky. And why does Brady come back? Like,

(08:04):
what's the main reason I'd win one more? And to
separate himself even more, like leave and no and nobody
touching this, not until they turn regular season like they
did the Pro Bowl when it goes off flag and
nobody gonna touch this. This eight Super Bowls. I think
he'd like to win one more. I think it would
be cool if he went to Miami because he wants

(08:25):
to be a part owner of that team. You know
that discussion was happening if you went there. I think
it'd be cool if you played for San Francisco because
that's his his team always wanted to play for. If
San Francico gets the Super Bowl, I don't think he
is an option in San Francisco. And I know Jimmy
g went to a Super Bowl and they try to
get rid of them, but they did have Trey Lance
ready to go and drafted really high. I don't think

(08:47):
they make a move for another quarterback if brock Party
gets them to a super Bowl. If they win a
super Bowl, no chance, it's it's pretty. If they get
to a super Bowl, it's pretty. But if they lose,
even in the conference championship, I think there's a ants
that Brady comes in for one year and they say
to brock Party, hey kid, you're twelve, Just sit back,
cute play quarterback per year and how to be yours? Well,

(09:10):
speaking of quarterbacks, who would rather have heading into a
playoff game as a face off on Sunday? Joe Burrow
or Josh Allen. Are we talking about all the same
weapons or just straight quarterbacks? Everything's equal straight quarterbacks one
game playoff Joe Burrow, It's just quarterback and all the
receivers are the same, all the lines that I'm taking
Joe Burrow, Josh Allen's really good, but he's played so

(09:32):
erratic and and some that's why they've lost a couple
of those games that they've lost. They've only lost a
couple of games. They're both elite, so I'm not even
saying that Josh Allen sucks and we easily it's Burrow.
I just think it's Burrow. Burrow doesn't make the out
of nowhere mistakes that Josh Allen does. Burrow throws those
anticipation passes like nobody I've ever seen before. You watch

(09:54):
those clips sometimes where they're like watch this and it
goes and slow motion, the receiver running is route, not
even looking as soon as he turns boot right. They're
pretty amazing. I also just never doubt that Burrow can
lead a team back, maybe because the furs he wears,
all the swag just so much. He's convinced me I'm

(10:15):
gonna go Burrow. But both are obviously elite and talk quarterbacks, Eddie,
I think Burrow is definitely the smarter quarterback as far
as you know, making decisions and like you said, leading
the team. But man, I love Josh Allen. I like
how physical he is. I like the different things he
I mean if he needs to run the ball, he'll
You're right, he'll get that first down. You have to

(10:36):
watch him as another runner, like he's another running back
on the field, and that's really hard to shut down.
So I don't know how he's gonna be in two years.
But next year I want, I want Josh Allen. What
do you think, Kevin? It's so hard, but I can't
help them stay Joe Burrow for one game just because
I feel like he'll get you there without losing it.
But hoo can Josh Allen? But I know his bur
Josh Allen made a Super Bowl. No, no, yeah, that's
not And I noticed last week that Burrow he lost

(10:58):
his offensive lineman again, and he was like, you know what,
I think my defense will be able to handle the Ravens.
I just gotta do enough just to kind of get
out of here with a win. And he even said
that in the post game, where Josh Allen would have
been like, oh, I gotta do even more now and
it might have made a mistake. So maybe it's just
a trust thing, but I'd go with Burrow. Hard to say,
because they're both and the Bills are so good. When

(11:22):
they are good, they are great, but okay, two burrows
one Allen next, are you more confident in Doc or
Daniel Jones to have another great game this weekend? Dang,
it should be an easy answer and just go Doc.
It should be an easy answer because until this season,
Daniel Jones was just gonna be probably a mid level

(11:44):
backup based on what he had done so far. So
it should be an easy answer that it's dead. But again,
sometimes Dad goes full dock. That goes full deck when
he's under pressure. But now it's time for pressure. The
games start with pressure before the first quarter even starts.

(12:04):
I just told I told my wife, I'm like, look
at the patience he has back there here, look at
like this is the game changer. When he has time
and patience and he's not under pressure, he can do wonders.
He throws the ball where it needs to go. But
you know what, that's not always a situation. It should
be an easy answer, and it is. It's dak but
another solid playoff game they didn't have to win, and

(12:28):
I think Daniel Jones, you know, takes another tiny step
up and that ladder from the bottom of the B
level too. Next to the bottom of the B level
not a huge step, but still and what a year
this guy has had showing he can do a better
what Josh Allen does. Not as gracefully but yeah, no,
more gracefully, but not as physical. Not as physical, That's

(12:50):
what I would say. It's faster, Yeah, probably, I would
think it wasn't this year when he lost his like
when his head went faster than his feet. Is that
he ran and fell and no one touched him. He
just felt his legs didn't move fast. And I feel
like that was the beginning of this year. But that
shows you how how fastest head is he wants to
go just kind of fastt head is. It's Dak. I

(13:13):
think Dak's been through a lot of crap, and getting
through crap also gets you ready for the next batch
crap to uh you know, I think the Cowboys can
be the fourty niners this week. Come on. And I'm
not even saying that with bias, I am a little,
but it's I do think they can win. If there
was an interview where they asked Dak, like, you know,
what do you say to the people talking about you
on sports shows or whatever, and about how it's like
you know you've you're the fifty interceptions like you're not

(13:34):
fit to do this job. He's like, Oh, I don't
listen to that. I don't look at the stories, read stories,
listen to interviews. Do you think that's true? Does he
not listening to that stuff? He's probably pretty good about
not purposefully searching it out. It's hard for it not
to find you, especially if you live there, which he does.
I don't often search you out stuff about me. It's
a different animal completely, But sometimes you get tagged and

(13:58):
stuff pisses you off. Sometimes someone will link you out
thinking you will think it's funny. Then you get to
it and it kind of hurts you feelings. So I
don't think you can stay from it. But yeah, he
probably has had to learn or he gets completely overwhelmed.
So yeah, I believe him. But it finds you some

(14:19):
what else it's Brian Dable your luck for coach of
the year. Let's think of who else it might be.
You can go over to San Francisco. Shanahan. I like
him especially he lost two quarterbacks this year, so we're
just talking about who it could be. So Shannahana San Francisco,
you know you're not gonna You're not gonna go Andy Reid. Yeah,

(14:41):
you're not gonna go Andy Reid because he is already
known to be awesome, and it's against you when you've
been awesome for a long time, like he would need
to do something he hadn't done before, probably to win that.
I'm not saying he doesn't deserve it, but when you're
awesome for a long time, people don't want you to
keep being awesome to keep handing you the awards because
I get boring. Yeah, you need somebody new, Yeah, Nick

(15:02):
Sirianni Eagles, Peterson and Jacksonville. I'm I don't know if
he's a lot, but I would bet on him. Did
we see any odds on that. I haven't seen any,
But the way that it's talked about, he's I would
imagine he's a clear favorite. I would think he'd be
the one that's minus to ten or so if in

(15:23):
the favorite. But I think he should probably win it.
I mean Peterson should. What he's done with the Jacks
is pretty amazing there in the second playoff with the
team that was awful last year. But so are the Giants.
But let's be fair, so in the same thing, so
are the Giants in a difficult division. Yea, so yes,
the answer is yes, I think he should win it.

(15:45):
I wonder if you could, I wonder win the votings,
like when you have to vote by because yeah, that's
a good question. If Jacksonville were to win another game
or two and the Giants were to lose this week,
which that can change, problem, then it would maybe change.
But yes, Serianni too in Philadelphia. He's a favorite, actually
a plush And they Shanahan at two dayble at three fifty, well,

(16:07):
which lost a bunch of money. I don't I would
have given it today. Well, yeah, I wonder when they
saw they're able to vote, actually, because I think it's
still changed because a lot of those guys seem awfully close. Yeah,
Peterson and the Peterson is fourth one thousand plus one thousand.
Where's McCarthy not on the list? All right? Go ahead,

(16:29):
next one last? Some one going to college here. Do
you think Jim Harbaugh continually flirting with the NFL is
going to hurt him when it comes to recruiting in
the future. Yeah, I think it probably already did a
little this year, not that it hurt their class. But
if you don't think coaches are using that against him
going you're thinking about going to Michigan. Wow, their technique
like every year he's flirting with the NFL, he gonna
be there two years? Yeah, I mean, so does it

(16:51):
hurt him in the end with the recruits he gets?
I don't know, but coaches are for sure using it
against him. And if someone is on the fence or
their n I L deals are super we're close to
each other. Possibly he doesn't go to Michigan because of that.
If it's the relationship with Hordball, because yeah, he's almost
twice in two years, and you think if Minnesota would

(17:11):
hire him last year, that's where I wanted to go,
he'd probably be there right now. If Carolina wanted to
hire him this year, probably be there right now. Do
you know when he posts that Michigan through and through,
I'm here to stay. That's only after there's been three
weeks speculation with you talking to tease being interviewed. If
you're bloom bloom, bloom through and through, through and through,
say as soon as the game is over, because you

(17:32):
know they're gonna be talking about that, all right. Thank you.

I did. I researched it, and I have the games
that I think will win this. I feel pretty good
about it, so it's on you. Well, here's the thing, though,
I haven't had my print out the sheet, my Draft
Kings front page. When I do, went by pushing a

(18:15):
film and pulls it up, and I was feeling really
good about it until I was gonna have to say
it out loud, and then I was like, oh, maybe
that's not it. So and about ten minutes or so,
I will give it to you. But if one of
you guys really feels like it is way off, you
let me know. It be influenced on NFL games only.

(18:56):
What would you do? Would you give them the mega deal?
Would you franchise tag him for one year about million
bucks and then you have to deal with this again?
Or would you trade him? And the decision kind of
has to be made by March. So those are your
three options with what happened at the end of this

(19:17):
last year. He was hurt. It wasn't like he was
awesome all year, but he was awesome in spurts, but
he was also hurt at times. What would you do
with Lamar? Mega deal? Franchise, tag him or trade him?
And you did say they, well, he stepped down, they
fired him. Whatever the case is. Their offensive coordinator who
had been there a long time, Kevin I would franchise him,

(19:41):
find a new offensive coordinator, and then figure out to
get him a weapon or two because he still hasn't
really had anybody elite Hollywood. Brown was the closest thing, Yeah, exactly,
And see what that coordinator can do with him for
one year and hopefully, you know, by August they figure
it out and then boom trying to sign him for
a big deal, or you can after that, you can't.
After that, you still want him to sign. You want

(20:03):
to franchise him. Franchise, give one more year with a
new coordinator, see how that works out, and try to
get him a good weapon, because you can't franchise. I
muna say if his injuries even like, let's see what
he does. Yeah, he's coming off an injury, Eddie. I
mean thirty two teams in the the NFL you're looking at,
I mean what ten really really solid quarterbacks? Dude? Why
waste time? Pay him the deal, pay the man, give

(20:24):
him the mega deal, and let's keep him. I mean,
this is our dude, I really do. It's so hard
drafting a quarterback. I mean, who are we Who are
we gonna get? Like, who's good in the NFL that
you wanted your team right now? Lamar is great. You
just need him healthy. Pay the man because who would
you replace him with. There's nobody in the draft this
year that I look at and go I would love

(20:45):
to freaking have him on my team. No chance, I mean,
if I were the Texans, if I were the Colts,
I would definitely want one of those guys because they're
there and you need somebody, and what else you gonna do?
Get Derek Carr? I mean, that's the option, but let's
already happen. Tom Brady or Jimmy g and the quarterbacks
the hard it's the hardest position to get somebody good.
It's really hard to get somebody great. So I would

(21:06):
mega deal too. You know, he can perform if you
think he's healthy. If you know Little Bernie told you
that he was pretty healthy and could have played but
just didn't want to mess it up, I'd sign him.
I'd mega dill him. I don't think you don't trade it.
What are you gonna trade him for? You have to
find a quarterback somewhere. Does he think you think Holly's
the guy, but he's better than some of those other guys. Yeah,

(21:29):
I mean, like he's on par with Jimmy G probably,
so I probably give him megadal as well. I don't
think anybody thinks he's be traded, No, at least not
on this room. And if so, get out. Is he
going to seal the deal with his mom? Like is this, Like,
is it going to be agent? You can seal the deal?
And I know that. I was like they've been dating?

(21:53):
What bass have they gotten to? Like is he going
to do this without an agent? Yes? That's amazing, Like
this is an easy anyone else done this recently? Wow?
Highest paid ever? This is gonna be if this is
gonna be a trend now everyone's like that is. It's
just there's so much legal ease, and it doesn't mean
they don't have a lawyer. Or two, he's not doing

(22:15):
the contract. He just don't have an agent, right, So
don't don't hear that is there's nobody helping him. Okay,
I really pictured them at the kitchen table, but really
that could be a part of it too. But just
because you don't have an agent, that doesn't mean you
don't have a lawyer. And a lawyer is not maybe
in the trenches making those negotiation calls as much, but

(22:37):
they're actually going over contract telling you what you need. Uh,
why this here? This provision may not be good. I
had a lawyer look over my contracts until I got
an agent, because I don't know if those contracts said
there's so many see paragraphs seven will further be known
as this. Yeah, and so, then I got an agent.
I just like handle it, and there's a lot of

(22:59):
handling that happens. The good thing about an agent two
is they continue to look out for you in other ways,
and they're trying to find other ways to make you
money because they make money. My agent makes ten percent
of everything I make. And so and they know the techniques.
They've done this absolutely. Your mom doesn't. But your mom
knows what's good for you. Mom knows best. The mom

(23:23):
thing I think has been overblown. Sound awesome, it does
sound awesome. It does sound awesome. Favorite storyline from each game.
That's what we're gonna do here. We're gonna go around
all three of us and give me a storyline from
each game. And if somebody uses the storyline that you
ready on, you don't get to use it again. You
better make up one quick. Wow. Okay, We're gonna go

(23:43):
to Kansas City and Jacksonville, and I'm gonna go to
Kevin first. Kevin Trevor Lawrence. Can he do it again?
And can he not turn the ball over four times
in the first half to have a big comeback like that?
The chief defense isn't really that good anyways, So I
think he can maybe exploit them a little bit and
I'll saying they'll win, but see if you can do
to in. It's an eight and a half point game there,

(24:04):
Jacksonville plus eight and a half. That's a lot of points.
There's a lot of points. And that's I mean, it's
so sexy. It's you's gonna take a bite of it.
I smell it. It's like Eddie, Oh, Kansas City, watch out,
Trevor's in town. I mean it's I think it's going

(24:24):
to be a lot closer than people think. The Kansas
City defense, I mean, this is not the best defense
in the world. Trevor Lawrence and Peterson they're on a roll.
They're wanting to win this game with I mean, this
is it, this is their chance. Trevor Lawrence has so
much to prove. I think they can go in here
and knock Kansas City out. Kansas City does not look
completely solid, like they haven't all all years. Yeah, they've

(24:47):
had games where they look great, but no, they can
be beautiful and I think Trevor Lawrence can beat Boy
how much you've switched over the t law team, dude,
I'm telling you I was. I did not start the season.
I remember getting beat it. I was like, guys, I
think Trevor Lawrence is really good to be special, and
he's like, you're out of your mind. You're an idiot,
you should you're stupid. Yeah, but then the last five weeks,
five six weeks of the season. Yeah, I'm a believer.

(25:08):
And I saw his face because I'm a believer. Yeah, dude,
I believe it. And when I said ms. Robiski is
also made, he said, I agree. Yeah, I don't think.
I think. And you talk about the Kancerity defense interesting
to me because you're right, the Kansas City defense. You
don't look at them and go those guys are awesome.

(25:28):
They can really stop when but they don't. They're not
built to play defense aggressively. They're built for that offense
to get a lead. And those guys just to make
sure the other team doesn't scores many points. Because that
Kansas City quarterback wide receivers tied in. They just chunked

(25:49):
the ball and score points and big big piles, big
big piles of leaves, and so the defense doesn't have
to go and make you know, play after play after
play what's cool about if you're playing end or a
rush linebacker for the Kancity defense is that you just
get pin yours back and go off for the quarterback
all day because that's what they're doing their passing all day,
trying to catch up. So it's it's a weird different

(26:11):
type of defense that they play, meaning it's hardly ever
they have to win a game defensively because their offense
is just so far out ahead, and if it is close,
can they do it? I mean we saw in Buffalo
or in Kansas City against Buffalo, they really weren't able
to because Buffalo scored a bunch of points too, and
they haven't been tested a whole lot. But the defense

(26:32):
will be interesting. If I think Kancity runs off with it,
I do. I think the Slipper turns into concrete or
whatever they say, Cinderella Slipper dies, mouse eats it. I
don't know whatever they say. I've never heard any of them.
I'm not sure what you're doing. What the hell are
you talking to the slipper that the slipper, I don't know.

(26:53):
The clock strikes to well, I'm not sure. I think
for me, it's what did waffle house end up doing
for Trevor Lawrence after that last game. Yes, what did
they do? They got a lot of free publicity because
Trevor Launce went right to waffle House after and they
celebrated that that win. Did the executive's Waffles reach out
and go like, hey, dude, that's awesome. Let's hook you up,

(27:15):
get your own franchise because that's pretty cool. So where
will they go if they win this one? No, it's
gotta go back to waffle House? Yes, So for me,
that's the storyline. Where did Trevor Lawrence is? All right?
Eagles and Giants, Eddie, I go to your first Eagles
or seven and a half point favorite? M Mmmm, this

(27:35):
is tough. I mean, this is a rivalry to its fullest. Giants.
Oh no, now, you know you want to you want
to believe that the Eagles, like you knows, Jalen is
Jalen fully uh recovered? Is that you know? We haven't
seen them in a week now. Guys. The Eagles are
the Eagles. The Eagles will fly all over the Giants.

(27:59):
So what's the storyline. The Eagles will fly all over
come back in ago. We're still dominant. Don't forget about us.
And where does Jalen eat afterwards? I don't know. I
had nothing there Kevin. For me, it's the two coaches.
We just talked about the coach of the year and
probably the top two candidates, two out of three for sure,

(28:19):
and going at it. I thought Dable last week's showed
against Kevin O'Connell, great name, that he outcoached him when
it mattered, and I want to see if you can
do the same thing against Herenni. I think it's the
the shoulder of Jalen hurts the arm shoulder? Is it
better where exactly as it hurt you? Hear slightly different
stories basically the same. You know what arm it is.

(28:40):
You kind of know what happened, but they don't want
you to know exactly because they don't want to like
trying to hit it. But can he throw? Can he throw?
Can he run? Is he scared to run? Will he
take a hit? Remember he's aggressive when he runs. He
will just go. He's not getting down quick quarterback sneak.
The whole line gets in, they lower the head, they
push and it Edmond stopped all season. I shoulders bad
if his aren't bad. If you got a joint, the Sprain.

(29:02):
Do they still try you know, what will they do
that they've done all season to allow them to get here?
He must be feeling pretty good if they're almost an
eight point favorite. And I say that in Vegas knows
they know things because we don't know, and they miss sometimes,
but they usually know if something's up with somebody and
how up that something is, you know. So I feel

(29:23):
like Jalen Hurts is probably pretty back to normal. It's
just is he still scared of it because sometimes when
you get hurt, you hurt your ankle, your leg, Like
I don't want to really go on it right now
because I'm afraid it'll happen again. So to me, that
would be fine. And also the NFC East, you got
three teams, three teams, and here in the second round

(29:43):
between the Giants, Eagles, and the Cowboys, of two of
them one, wouldn't it just NFC East the whole way,
Bengals and Bills. You know, I'll go. Can Joe Burrow
do it again? There? Five point underdog? We talked about
Burrow and Josh Allen and if Josh Allen plays consistent

(30:04):
and doesn't try to do anything, it doesn't try to
win the entire game in the second quarter. I think
the Bill should probably win this game. But the pressures
on Buffalo now because they're expected to win, their fans
expect them to win, and anything less is going to
be a disappointment now for Buffalo Bills fans and Joe

(30:28):
Burrow got him to the Super Bowl last year. I
think a lot of people thought, well that, wow, the
bank has really got fortunate. Everything kind of broke their way,
that Kansas City win that that's one of the craziest
games I've seen last year. And if broken get to
the a f C Championship, just there again because he
is legit, but it further solidifies he's gonna be legit

(30:49):
for a long time. And it also shuts people up
from going one hit wonder. So I'm gonna go with
I think the main storyline here is the pressure on
Buffalo to win the game because they actually have pressure
to win the game. They're a favorite, they have pressure.
It will be disappointment to that franchise if they don't. Also,
I got invited to go to this game and sit

(31:10):
in the owner's box. Really sure did by the owner.
I forgot to tell you. By No, the brother of
the owner. What Yeah, Oh, I got you. Yeah, Wow,
that's cool. Yeah. He was like, you want to go
up when your wife comes, sit in the owner's box
and we'll watch the Bills and Bengals can't. But I

(31:31):
thought it was a very nice offer, and so but
I didn't go, I know, what do you have? What
do you think they're kevin? For me, it's going to
be the pressure on the Bengals offensive line. We've talked
about a little bit, but missing a few guys, and
can they handle the Bills defensive line, which isn't as good.
You know, I don't have Von Miller anymore, but they're
still pretty damn good. And I think that they can
hold up against them, then they'll be okay. And Joe

(31:53):
Burrows really gonna need them to hold up and get
some time to be able to hit um all of
his receivers and weapons. I saw Ja March say he
thinks he's the best receiver in the NFL. He's like, yeah,
I agree with him. I think he is. How you
can argue he's not okay if you want to say
Jessin Jefferson is okay, And I can argue that either.
But there are a few that you just don't fight
with and go well, great point. I may not feel

(32:15):
the same, but arguably you could be right as well.
I mean that top tier, Jefferson Chase. I'm gonna put
Davonte up there. Of course he's hard for him to
prove it, but yeah yeah, and when he got the shot,
he was a monster again. And so I think he
gets left out of that right now just because he
played on a bad team. But I think it's those

(32:35):
three probably. I want to throw Hopkins in there, but
I mean, how is he going to show it too well?
You don't need him to shoot up though before you know,
here we go. You need him to really get those
good injection pump guys. He got caught, all right, Yeah, yeah,
but he got caught. He got caught. Yeah, but he
got caught. He's so good, But there are other guys
that are also so good but aren't at that level.

(32:58):
I mean, go to Seattle. You want to talk about
a man child just like Davante Adams and and it's
so strong. Do you get metcalf? It's like a freaking nature.
So but I think DK is in that second tier,
like right below all right, edge talk Bengals and Bills. No,
I didn't, but I'll just I think the storyline here
is a cute season Bengals, but Bills will take it.

(33:21):
Cute season, cute season, cute. I thought they actually had
a really great season. Concidered, they lost their at one
point on their offensive line. They just had three practice
dummies and two third stringers during a game that we
just set them up. Take the ball to the center
of practice dummy, and he said, and then that's how
they played. They played that for four weeks. I think
it's tough. It's disrespectful to the people that actually did

(33:42):
play and they ain't listen to this. Who gets a crap?
Cowboys And oh my goodness, what's the storyline here? The
Cowboys shock the nation. Uh, look, if our kicker can
make these these extra points, we will win. This game.
Going to be a close one, right, It's gonna be
a close one. But I mean it all comes to

(34:05):
your kicker making extra points. I'm just joking. Obviously, obviously
I'm joking. But yeah, Cowboys shocked the nation. No one
believes in the Cowboys. We're really banking on a rookie
quarterback to take the forty nine to the next level. No. Uh.
We got McCarthy who's been to the Super Bowl. We
got Dak Prescott, who's playing great right now. We have

(34:26):
one of the best defenses in the league. Let's go
shock the nation. That's the storyline. I don't think the
nation will be shocked. Yes they will, it's more like
mildly surprised the nation. It's the closest game. Yeah, were
and a half point spread. That's not a shock the nation.
Do you want the Cowboys to win, Kevin? Do you
think they can win? Do I think they can win? Yes,

(34:46):
but realistically no, no, it will win. No one thinks
the Cowboys can win this game. Again, other than the Cowboys,
not say no, one, it's only three and a half
point spread. If it were eight, we got eight and
a half in Jacksonville, guess said, and a half of
the Giants. Do you think the Giants can beat the Eagles? Okay?
Do you think the Jaguars can beat the Chiefs? Yes? Yeah?

(35:07):
You think nobody thinks the Cowboys can beat the Bengals
and the Bills. Well, you said, what do you think?
I think the Cowboys can win the game. I think
they're gonna win the game. Yeah, but you're a Cowboys fan.
That's what we believe. Yeah, but I'm a fake Cowboys fan.
No you're not. You're a real one. I'm gonna die hard,
but I'm new, and who knows if i'll be next year? Right,

(35:30):
you will, But I am a die hard now, but
I don't know that I'll be a Cowboys fan next year.
We'll see how it goes. It's ridiculous every time something
starts to go wrong, though, I think, because I've known
you guys so long, well, this is when the wheels
fall off, because I see them sad every year. That
was supposed to be the last game. So usually when
the wheels fall at the final wheels can only fall
off once. But I will say, if you lose this game,

(35:51):
I would say, hey, pretty good season. You gotta playoff
win first time since think World War Two, which I
completely agree. Not a bad season. Yeah, it's just gonna
be which Dak shows up because that can quickly quickly
turn into someone who's trying to save a game when
he doesn't actually need to save it and lose the game.
And as Pollard going to get to run the ball

(36:13):
of the time, which he probably should. And I say
that now that the season is over, as they fantasy,
and what I say effects who runs the ball. Obviously
that's gonna be a good one man. That is gonna
be the game, the game, the game of the week.
All Right, the NFL action continues. We're one step closer

That's right, So let's talk about Parlay's twenty five whistles

(36:55):
Parlay of the Week. Here's what I have. Come on,
you can tell me I'm wrong. If you don't like it,
let me know. And if it's a if it's both
of you guys that go no, I'll flip it. Okay.
I'm only gonna say anything if I feel very strong
about yeah, and if both of you feel strong, consider it.
But if only one of you do, I won't. Jaguars
and Chiefs over fifty three. I'm against it, Kevin, I'm

(37:22):
for it. Okay, then we'll stay Jacksonville over fifty three.
Jacksonville decent defense could make that lower. But okay, well yeah,
I mean, I mean, from what I kind of envision,
I feel like, yeah, the offenses are gonna struggle. I
think Jacksonville can take the lead early, but I feel
that Jacksonville's defense could stop my homes in the offense. Well,

(37:44):
I'm going over, you got it? The Cowboys and forty
Niners under forty six. I hate these over unders. You're
gonna go regular point spread. Um, I like it. That's fine,

(38:04):
that's I like it. We're gonna miss some field goals,
so go ahead forty six. So that's take the over.
So you would say no, And I hate betting unders
because it's like you're rooting for nothing to happen a
boring game. But I'm gonna go the over on the
Jacksonville Can City game, the under on the Cowboy San

(38:27):
Francisco game. What'd you say? Nothing? Why should? Because I
really don't know about that one. That's the tough one.
Give me flip it. I mean, like, what do you think, Kevin?
Do you think I say, I say over, Yeah, man,
I'm leading over, but you guys both going over. I'm
closing my eyes. I'm picturing those deep passes to c D.
I'm picturing McCaffrey going off for an eight yard run

(38:49):
like miners. The both defenses are really good. Yea, Eddie, Now, man,
I'll stay with yours. I'm going over then because Eddie's
like my again canary full mind. Yeah, yeah, so we're
going over on both those. Mike Jacksonville Can City game over,
Dallas San Francisco game over, and we're just gonna leave
it at those two. But again, if you see McCaffrey

(39:09):
run for an ad R touchdown, you remember what I said.
But but I'm doing over on both. Yeah, I know,
but I'm saying that, like if that happened. No, you
can't take both sides. You can't take credit for both.

on draft Kings and Eddie and I do this, will
text each other if there's a game that we feel

(39:51):
like a team that's really good has fallen quickly. And
I went tabed dinner with my wife and Kansas was
down to Kansas State by like thirteen early, and so
I loaded up on it like five bucks, which is
a lot. Wow. Yeah, but it was like I took
Kansas plus seven and a half. I was getting almost

(40:13):
eight points. But Kevin he wasn't watching the game. He
was at dinner with his wife. You were just checking
like he didn't see how they were playing on no, no, no,
nothing like that. I knew nothing and nothing. And when
I put it back on, it was going to overtime,
and I was like, okay, want to talk about like
I watch somebody would just one. I didn't even care
who won, just don't be Kansas by eight. I win

(40:35):
the money. It went overtime, and I believe Kansas lost
by one point, and so it's kind of a fun
thing Eddie and I do. If we hit one of these,
we sent it to the other person first. First, we'll
tell them, hey, this game is happening, if you want
to hop on it. We probably have like a se
accuracy on those head heads up, Gonzaga is down by whatever,
Like let's load up. And sometimes you load up and
it hurts and they don't hit. Sure, that's happening, stay down. Yeah,

(40:58):
they never come back, and we have like a seventy
percent accuracy, but doesn't happen that often. So it's not
like we can bet on it or literally about It's
not like we could just count on one of these happening.
But I sent Daddy as I hat check it out.
I just hit this nailed it boot and he goes, yeah,
I had him straight up Kansas minus one for a
four game part lay. Sorry, And so I sent him
my win and to rub to show him, Hey, looks

(41:20):
what I did, and he's like, yeah, that's what cost
me a bunch of more. Idn't know at first, as
I do, that's awesome. Congratulations, was like, sorry, dude, but
they busted my four game part. There was another one
I hit two was what was the other game that
I had actually bet twice and I said it to
you because they hit the button twice. It was the
same situation where somebody maybe it's Texas. Was that later

(41:42):
that night? Yeah, same night. I love doing those though,
because I won't watch the game, and I'm it's probably
good I don't watch that game. Tennessee. Oh it was Tennesse.
It was Tennessee. Miles three was a Mississippi State and
Tennessee is way better than Misssippi State. Yeah, and ended
up winning by like ten or twelve or something. I mean,
I think the line was originally Tennessee minus six or

(42:05):
something or seven, which is like nothing. So I jumped
on that one. That one anyway. But yeah, I also
sent Eddie screenshot of me cashing out. Mostly, I don't
cash out because I just like to play. I'm not
doing this, I'm doing it for entertainment, and I just
don't bet when I go like the Cowboys bet was
the craziest bet ever made on Blue last year, and
I puts on there, but it was most of my

(42:25):
winnings throughout the year, So I'm not gonna take a
bunch of bunch of money than it hard on work,
and I go like maybe fifty but not. But I
had one all this money through the year and through
doing this show, and I said, I'm betting it, and
I hit right and fort hundred something like that. Well,

(42:45):
I cashed out and put back into my account three
thousand dollars. So I still have like fifteen here. But
I felt pretty good to cash out because I usually
only keep it in there to just have fun. It's entertainment,
that's just it is. Though you're not gonna be able
to go hard on some of these games. I don't
have to go hard, I know, but lately you have.
I only went hard. Happens with me is once I

(43:06):
go hard, I keep going hard, and that's how I
lose quick. Yeah, I'll get you. I only go hard
if I have extra fluffed to go hard on. Like,
I don't go back into the account. Interesting, I've never
gone back into Well, let me say this, No, I
cashed everything out after n C double A last year,
and I put in I've made some decent money, a

(43:27):
few thousand bucks, and so I guess I put two.
I put two hundred bucks back in and started over
and got there again. Now let me ask both of
you guys then, because obviously I don't, but nearly that's
what I started with. I start with two hundred bucks
period and that's it, and I haven't gone and lost
at all. Is it more about the money for you
guys or more of like, yeah, I got that right,
No money, because I don't better enough for me to

(43:49):
be like heart pumping being interested in it. To me,
it's entertainment. It's fun. That's why I tell people people
like these draft kings, like what do you do? I
find games that are fun. I'm watching the game that
I'm like, I would never actually care about this Alabama
Tech game, Kent State. Yeah, why don't I watching? Why
am I looking for this on ESPN plus? Yes? Seven bucks? Yeah?
Yeah see I can get it right right? Yeah? And

(44:11):
then you're like, yeah, I knew it. I had. Yeah.
I don't ever feel like confident though. But read did
the same thing. Read our video guy who also made
the gingles. It's the get it what did you do? Okay,
So last night I came out of retirement for a
little bit. He went into a time right because he
want a bunch of money with a parley. We did right.
It was a parley. Yeah, I followed you and my

(44:32):
dad was coming up. I had I had already done
one of your parlays the previous week, and uh, I
think I got like fifty on it. And I took
two hundred of the winnings from that and just put
it on this that parlay that you did, and and
so you came out of retirement. I came out how much?
Oh um? I mean I cast out all of that. Okay,

(44:54):
So what did you put money? Uh? Eventually, yes, I'll
put fifty dollars in. Okay, So then either way, So
last night, last night, I started with fifty dollars and uh,
I did a two game parlay and ended up cashing out. Um.
Needless to say, I went to bed with you didn't

(45:16):
sell me that part. Wait, you started with fifty bucks
and you made eight bet Okay, so the first game
I did here, let me actually pull it up. Pull
it up. This is crazy. He was literally gonna say, sorry,
fifty ended up with sixty eight. I lost it all
because I couldn't stop left that part out. Yeah, okay,

(45:38):
let you do that. We'll come back in a second. Staley,
staying as the coach of the Chargers, they fired their quarterbacks,
coach and offensive coordinator. Staley said he never thought he
was getting fired. I don't know if I believe that.
If you're a human, you probably Yeah. And last year
he was known for being and he wasn't as odd

(45:58):
this year with a lot of his play calling. It
wasn't as uh as much of a risk taker this
year on fourth down on your own side of the field.
But they were saying earlier that if Saley didn't perform
that he had a shot to lose his job, especially
with Sean Payton out there lingering. I think I don't
think Sean Payton. I don't think the Chargers were going
to give up a middle first round pick period, So

(46:22):
I don't think Peyton was ever an option for the Chargers.
But for Stay that I say, never thought it was
gonna be fired. Do you believe him or is this
just what you say now because you made it. I
think it's just what you say. You just always show confidence. Yeah,
and he's that guy. I think he said they awesome
about getting out coach in the second half, and he
was like, I don't even know what you're talking about,
and they were like, I'm pretty sure you do. But okay,

(46:43):
I mean, guys, anytime anyone says like, yeah, man, I
just got fired, like I don't know, Like what do
you knew? Knew that you were getting fired something told
you had an argument with your boss, you had a discussion, whatever,
Or you've been bad at your job, you've missed five
days in a row. Something's up where you know you're
getting fired. Knew he was getting fired, or at least
he was being considered because he didn't get fired, right,

(47:05):
I don't know what I'm saying. You have you have
the idea, you can't like avoid all the internet and
all the reporters read you pull it up, what you
got it? Okay. So I'm gonna be honest. I had
no idea what I was doing this. It's one of
those I've done those two like well, or it's like
I'm gonna put ten bucks on the EuroLeague. No, seriously,
that's what it was. Because then it piss me off.

(47:26):
I'm gonna leave. Okay. So I was wanting to mess
with like some live game bets. Um, and so let's see,
you started with fifty bucks. I started with fifty bucks. Yeah,
fifty bucks. Yeah, read your bets at the night. Okay,
so my bets for the night where um I did
a parlay with Missouri State and to Paul, Oh my god,

(47:47):
you just literally did like an eight year old picking
U N C l A. That's exactly what it was.
So did you pick the spreads or the money lines?
Money lines for both of them? Yeah? So granted the
payout would have been like nine hundred and something. Um
I cashed out after Missouri State for four two. So
how much had you been on the parlay? You were

(48:09):
they such an underdog? They were down by like six
and there was like a whole another quarter left, so
but a half oh my god, half? Oh my god,
he doesn't even know what I'm sorry? So these were
money or I just read if they were a big
underdog before the game, who was a favorite? You know who? Before?

(48:30):
You won't have that on there, probably I do not. Okay,
So you've got fifty dollars on those two games, and
Missouri State wins, Missouri State wins, DePaul ended up actually winning,
but I cashed out four two before that game was over,
So you went fifty fifty N two and then, um
what that's unbelievable. What made you pick that game. Um,

(48:53):
I think it was just because it was like, let
me see, he doesn't know, I don't know. The odds
was like plus so Christopher Columbus a big guy, and
it was and it was close, like it was close
in it the game, you know, excel the Ocean blue type.
I get it for sure. It could have gone either way.
And so it was the game was almost over something.

(49:14):
So are you like, holy crap, let me just cash out. Yeah?
So I ended up cashing out and then um started itching.
But you would have hit it. I would have hit it, yeah,
DePaul one. Yeah, but he did hit for five hundred bucks.
He basically at fifty bucks, just like that. Okay, so
then how do you win more? Okay? So then, so
then I was watching the Arkansas Missouri game, and uh,

(49:38):
you're probably gonna fire me for this, but I was
gonna bet on Arkansas. I can't let you bet on Missouri.
If you bet on Missouri, you you have to leave
the show. No, no, wait. So I was watching the
game until the very end, and uh, I was looking
at the odds and I think so Missouri was down
by six at this point, and the odds for them

(49:58):
to win the money on was like plus two hundred,
and I was looking at that and for like a
solid five minutes. I'm not even gonna lie. The money
line from Missouri to win went up to plus fourteen
hundred and they were still only down by six. And
I knew Arkansas I had been had been getting some
bad foul calls and stuff, and so I put a
hundred on that, and it was, hey, did you cheer

(50:23):
really hard when they lost? I mean, because there's a
lot of money. The truth, it's a lot of money.
I didn't sleep. I didn't sleep. I was so excited.
I was. I was very upset with Vanderbilt and the
calls from that game, and then obviously the calls that game.

(50:43):
I like how he's hiding behind the calls. Dude, there
was some awful I felt so much. I went onto internet. No.
I picked a few of them off. I'm gonna make
TikTok's and be like, show show me the foul that
they're literal. Nobody touches anybody whow like. And I'm never
a rough guy, rarely my ref guy, and I'm not

(51:05):
gonna be rough guy. I'm just going to be rough.
It was bizarre, right, It was that's what I mean. Like,
there were just some crazy things happened in that game,
and I was like, I hate to do this, but
it jumped to fourteen hundred. Mm hm, I can't. So wait,
hold on a second. Let's talk about how much money
you really want though. So if you went from fifty

(51:27):
to five hundred, you're up four fifty, and then of
that you bet how much a hundred, so then you
bet a hundred, and you and how much, so then
you won fourteen hundred. So basically you want eighteen hundred bucks.
Oh my god, you want eighteen fifty. Stop whispering. And
one night he's like, yeah, man, well he hasn't slept.

(51:50):
He hasn't slept. Here's where you started saying. And then
you went downtown drink all night. That's congratulations, buddy, have
you not slept? I mean it was really hard. I'm
not gonna lie. It was really hard, but I did
end up actually going to sleep. Yeah. Wow, with how
many people it was crazy? Congratual license reading. That's fun.

(52:15):
NFL International Games. Buffalo is playing in London next year,
so are the Titans and so are the Jaguars. Wow,
how are there only three? There? Are they keeping they're
doing like a Battle Royal. They not mentioned the fourth
because those three can't I'll play, yeah, like a Chinese checkers.

(52:36):
So there's gonna be obviously somebody else but the Chiefs
and the Patriots playing in Germany. Oh. I love that
they got to have that. German teams for international games Buffalo, Tennessee,
Kansas City, New England, regular season home games in UK
for Jacks about Jaguars. So it's just a home game
and another team's gonna yeah. Because I was looking at
the Patriots when they announced that earlier and I was like, wait,

(52:58):
so they're playing the Chiefs, but it didn't say they're
playing Chefs. I would imagine they're both playing in Germany,
So I was like, wait, does this not mean they're
I hate that. I hate to go over there and
play those fly all the way over the play game
have to be terrible. It's not gonna be fun to
go there, will be terrible. I was looking at Colorado's
football schedule next year because Dean Sanders coach prime in
his first season and he's putting together a pretty good

(53:22):
portal team. He took one of Arkansas's better defensive players
all of a sudden, he says, I'm in the portal.
We're like wait, what, Like, yeah, I'm in the portal
and he goes We're like where where is he? What?
And is it going to Colorado? Oh god, it makes sense.
So the Pack twelve released thee schedule for Colorado Week one,
TCU Week four, Oregon Week five, USC Week nine, U

(53:46):
c l A Week thirteen. Utah, I mean that's a
tough schedule. That's tough for It's gonna be interesting to
see what happens next year. I think the only one
in one game this last year, so anything anything will
be uh. But but an upgrade, yeah, but that would
be tough. Yeah. I'll manxious to see his kid quarterback.
He's gonna be really good because people keep talking about

(54:07):
him even in the draft class, and I'm like, oh,
he's that good. I think it's been really good. Uh,
let's just finish it up. What you say? You good?
I like it that he's been going all day long.
Oh man, it's been a long one. Now he's gonna
work out with me. I don't know how he's gonna
make it. I'll make it. Actually, I finally feel good, dude,
I'm telling you mentally, I've been thinking about this workout.
I hate it, Don't get me wrong. It's terrible and

(54:29):
it don't feel good afterwards. But I've been thinking about it.
Have you been consistent or no? The last time I
worked out was when he was good last week. I
was last week, then the last week, and then he
was gonna work out couple days ago, but his hany bang,
he was sore and I've been sick. Man, I've got
a little sign of stuff going on. So we didn't
work out. So we're handy bank. You'll do that to you,
all right. In thoughts, Kevin, mine are the reports that
recently came out of If you saw this, remember when

(54:51):
McDaniels turned down the Coult job last minute? Yeah he did,
he like accept it and then run away from it. Yeah.
And somebody on on Twitter, Dan Dockets, I don't remember
him from ESPN days, he came out and said that
he found out it because Jim Merseys, Jim Ersey Colt owner,
was in his house and he went to the bathroom
and he was in his bathroom for like an hour

(55:11):
and they didn't know what he was doing in there.
So McDaniels his wife was like I don't want any
going to coach for that team. Now, I don't know
if it's really true on Twitter and I'm like, it's
so but it's so funny if it's true, Like was
he taking a big poop? Was getting a manly squeeze?
Was he uh snorton? Uh? Taking some of the medicine?

(55:33):
And I don't know. There's somebody places my mind go.
Was in the bathroom? Yeah, in the bathroom for over now.
I hopeully nobody fires mebs man. Yeah, maybe he has
ibs in their house. Though sometimes you gotta go. Sometimes
I try to use the bathroom wor but sometimes I do,

(55:53):
my stomach kills me. And I tell you, Ed, He's
so comfortable. They'll just walk and start talking to me.
I mean, we have conversation. He's like, man, hey, what
do you think about it? I'm like, finally, I'm just like,
you know what, let's get something done. Might as well
Eddie h Yeah, Kevin's got a little explaining to do. Um.
He came to me earlier today and said, is this
your wife's number on his phone? And I'm like, why

(56:14):
is my wife calling you? And he had no answer
for me. I haven't talked to my wife about it,
So something's up. If your wife goes, hey, is this
Kevin's penis? What is the deal here? Well I had
to tell her. I was like, no, no, no, no,
Eddie was in Vegas last weekend. Here. Why are you calling?

(56:34):
Why are why are you guys talking to each other?
I don't know? And how do you don't see what
I'm saying? See what I'm saying. I thought it was
her and then end up being one of his kids,
So I don't know. No, no no, no, it was number.
But hold on, you didn't talk to her? No, no,
it just rang, It just rang, and I picked it
up and it was one of the kids. And I
don't even know what they were trying to say. Heard

(56:56):
kids in the back. That makes sense if you, Eddie,
if you just put any sort of ear towards your house,
you're your kids? Correct? That confirmed that was my wife. Yes, um,
I'll go. I'll talk about message board of people. They're
they're just idiots. I love message boards and I love
to go read and sometimes you'll pick up a nugget
or two. But after a basketball game, you have people

(57:19):
go on man if I as a coach, i'd have
done this. I can't believe he didn't do this. If
this is my team, I definitely wouldn't have any five
stars on the team. I'd rather have a bunch of
guys that were good commit They're just stupid. People are
just stupid. It's a place when people are stupid. And
the other thing is how upset they get when a
coach leaves. And I'm talking about not talking about head coach.
We just had our offensive coordinator, Kendall Briles go to TCU.
He had flirted with Miami last year. Mississippi State tried

(57:42):
to hire him this year. He said no. Kendall bros
Posted on Twitter, I'm staying in Arkansas. Let's go, And
then the TCU flirt started to happen. They wanted him,
and apparently this is just word. I don't know if
it's true or not. Our coaches were just tired of
the schools, if for rella, for raises or whatever, so
he went to see you took that job. But people
are acting like he went over and pete on their

(58:05):
children's head. I can't belie he's a trader if and loser.
We never wanted him to begin with, on and on
and on where if you were in a situation like
a Kendall Briles or an athlete with an I L offers,
you would probably almost percent be doing the same thing,
thinking the same thing, how do I look out for

(58:25):
my family and myself? This is my career. He doesn't
have any allegiance. Kendall Bryle's literally has no allegiance to
the state of Arkansas except for his professional career. When
he came here to be office according BEFO Arkansas, and
you're upset because I thought he was one of us
and he was getting paid. He had the best offer
from us, and then he came here and then some
I was like, well, I thought, I can't believe you
left up. I was one of bos No. Because coaches

(58:47):
are hired mercenaries. You just want your mercenary to be
awesome players, same thing, same thing. They get so fired
up when someone gets a huge paid I can't believe. Yes,
the kid in Florida who now once released because they
didn't come true on the offer they said they were
gonna pay him, and I alwise it was like, please
release me because the collects they were gonna give him

(59:08):
something they're not giving them. He's like, let me go
people like, what a what a loser? Hey, that's not
enough money for you. What if we said about your job, sir? Exactly,
if somebody says I'm gonna give you one dollar if
you show up and play, and you show up and
play and they give you thirty cents, you get piste.
The same way if they say I'm gonna give you
a hundred million and you show up and they only
give you thirty million, you don't go, well, thirty million

(59:31):
is a lot. And even though he said that I
just should be happy with thirty million. Now they promised
you a hundred million or one dollar. And it's just
people on the message board who sometimes I go, are
they real? Are there people this dumb? And the answers yes, yes,
the answers yes, it's wild. And how many people think
they'd be a great coach or think if they ran

(59:52):
sports it would be run better. That's all. We'll see
you next week at whistles, Kevin, blow us out our
only whistle in the building. Give bye, buy good one Yeah,
