You may remember seeing something about the death of Donye
Jones on your social media feed Around the end of
well the Ferguson, Missouri activists found her son hanging from
a tree and police are ruling it a suicide, but
the mother believes it was a lynching. Now she is
calling for an investigation after she says police failed to
do their job. He was not suicidal. I'm rain over Shelski.

Starting only six weeks after don Ye was found hanged
by a bedsheet, my colleague John Duffy and I spent
two and a half years working with Donye's mother, Melissa,
with many members of his family, his friends, and even
members of the Ferguson activist community to follow the trail
and find out what exactly happened to him. Wasn't that
type of person. I didn't expect to never see him again,

and he had a very bright energy. The whole situation,
that's a bunch that I don't know. Finding him in
the backyard hung up, I will say, telling yourself, what

in the investigation into Danyae's death, but also it appears
to be racism in local law enforcement. I do remember

with the officer and or as a reasonable the person,
would you think that the officer Andrew would be interested
in this? After everything we've seen, it looks as though
the possibility that Danya was murdered was never taken seriously
by St. Louis County official. She said, we're going to

destroy the sheets, and I said, why are you going
to destroy the sheets? That's part of the evidence. We're
going to have a private investigation. The bit that was
used was was sent down to our lab and they
did DNA on it, secondary DNA at all on the
