Speaker 1 (00:02):
Hey, they're folks. That is Tuesday, November fourth, or weight
is over. We got word. We've all been waiting, and
now we know who the sexiest man on the planet
is for twenty twenty five, and welcome to this episode
of Amy and TJ. Rohobes. I don't know how anybody
could take issue with this. Even People Magazine when they

(00:22):
named their sexiest man alive they put in parentheses. Yeah,
we nailed it.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
That was pretty funny.

Speaker 3 (00:28):
And yes, by the picture he's holding a dog, he
just took a dip in a chili sea.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
Yes, sexy stuff all around.

Speaker 3 (00:37):
But I have to admit, as much as I am
a fan of his work, upon googling him, his name
is not a household name.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
I did not know the.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
Name, and some people obviously will know it and love
it in certain circles. I did not know it at all.
I'll explain how I even found out that the sexiest
man was being announced today. It was through a Google
trend search this morning. I'll explain that. But his name
is a myst Jonathan Bailey, And if you don't know

(01:08):
his name, you certainly know his face and you might
even know his body at this point. For some of
you out there, but he has robes for the past
several years, been on a come up, and he is
on a hot streak a no pun intended, but a
hot streak his career, the likes of which he hasn't experienced.
And this just stops it all off.

Speaker 3 (01:26):
It's true when you start reading about his background, this
is a true actor. I mean he was trained professionally
starting at the age of seven. He's somebody who loves
the art and the craft of it, so you can't
even tell. It's very sweet seeing him respond and react
to this title that it's not that it's embarrassing, but
he takes it with a grain of salt and he

(01:46):
gets it.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
He gets it.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
But yes, he had fun with it.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
Yeah, he's doing what he loves. And it's not bad
to be admired while you're doing.

Speaker 1 (01:52):
Okay, bridgeton Wicked, Jurassic World Rebirth, H's jars in all
of that. So as you know he's been doing it
for the past five years, he has just exploded.

Speaker 3 (02:02):
Did you see me this morning when I you mentioned Bridgerton,
I'm like, Bridgerton? What is?

Speaker 2 (02:06):
Who is he?

Speaker 3 (02:07):
And Bridgerton? Because I just saw his face and it
had been a year or two before or since I
had seen it.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
I pulled it off.

Speaker 3 (02:13):
I was like, oh, oh, it's Lord Anthony On Bridgerton,
because when you had said that he is the first
openly gay man. When I first woke up we were
talking about the stories of the day. I was surprised
because I did not think he was gay. When you
watch Bridgerton, it's like the steamiest heterosexual almost love making

(02:34):
in front of the camera kind of scenes.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
You could imagine. It's one of the reasons why the
series is so popular.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
Yes it's well written, yes it's well acted, but they
have some really steamy scene.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
So you taken those things have been powerhouses. I mean
Jurassic even Jurassic World Rebirth. He looks totally different in
that one, but even that movie. I mean, these things
we're talking about have been at the height of Hollywood
for the past several years, and he is a starring
a central role. He's a wildly talented it's not only
a good looking dude, but a talented guy. To hear

(03:05):
he's been you know, he decided when he was five
he wanted to be an actor and started being trained
and performing at the age of seven. He has been
holding this crab. He's a brit right, He's a theater guy.
He's all this. He is just I didn't know about him,
but I've been learning about him this morning, and I
have become a fan in reading about him. I don't
think I have.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
Well.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
I saw Wicked. I was forced to see.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
You were forced to see Wicked with Sabine and me.

Speaker 1 (03:29):
Yes, that's okay. I saw Wicked obviously a great movie.
But he was wonderful in that I wasn't familiar to
read about his background. I'm room foritous to you. I
like to say, you know what.

Speaker 3 (03:38):
I love the story he told about where he was
when he got the call from People magazine. He said
he was literally playing Richard the Second at London's Bridge
Theater when he got the call. He said, you go
slightly mad. The only thing matter than doing Richard the
Second was to be invited into this.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
I mean he considered it an honor, obviously, but just funny.

Speaker 3 (03:59):
The juxtaposition of where he was and the role he
was playing, and then to get that phone call from
People magazine.

Speaker 2 (04:05):
Hey, by the way, you're the sexiest man alive.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
And the announcement official who's made. They've been doing this
for several years of partnership with the Tonight Show. But
it's cool how they do the reveal, and he was
as charming as ever last night. He called the whole
thing completely absurd. But rools, I don't think it's a
big part you mentioned. It's kind of just an afterthought.
He's the first gay man. I think that's supposed to
be a big deal, but I like that it doesn't
feel that way. It's just whatever. Okay, I know it's monumental.

(04:30):
I'm not taking away from that, but I like that
there's no argument. It has nothing to do with whether
he's gay or he's straight. It's a good looking, talented
dude who is doing gangbusters in Hollywood, and that's what
this honor is supposed to be about. It almost feels
like it's a non issue. I shouldn't say issue, you
know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
I know, you know what.

Speaker 3 (04:49):
I hadn't thought about it like that, But that is
a really cool point to make that this isn't controversial,
that this isn't something that people are questioning because he
isn't hetero sexual.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
And honestly, I guess I.

Speaker 3 (05:02):
Had never even thought about the fact that and this
may just be because I'm not as in tuned to
you know, LGBTQ plus issues, but I hadn't realized there
wasn't an openly gay man on the cover. It wouldn't
have surprised me to learn that we've been celebrating sexual
prowess regardless of what team you play for, how many

(05:22):
teams you play for.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
I'm surprised this it's taken this long.

Speaker 1 (05:25):
Yeah, well, well, when we go through some of the
names of the guys, you're like, that's not a gig
gal exactly.

Speaker 2 (05:31):
When you start looking at You're like, oh, yeah, I guess, yeah, okay.

Speaker 1 (05:34):
Oh, Denzel Richard gear. But it is a cool but
that's a cool on and it was one of the
fun things for me at least. But that's how I
find out found out. Actually I didn't know the announcement
was coming. And you know, every morning I checked Google
Trends when I wake up, and one of the trending
topics on Google over the past four hours at least

(05:54):
that when I checked, is Jonathan Bailey gay.

Speaker 3 (06:00):
Because people weren't believing it, you know what, there were
probably Bridgerton fans. I'm telling you you watch him in
that role and you're imagining, you know, who is his girlfriend?
Who you know? Is he married? Like you wouldn't think, oh,
is he gay? So that makes a lot of sense
that that was trending.

Speaker 1 (06:18):
Why people asking this about this guy I've never heard
of and I clicked. I'm like, oh, this is what
happened last night. This is your man. He of course
has been holding onto this. They have to keep this
such a hush hush hush secret. But the cover, if
you haven't seen it yet, he's on the cover with
his dog.

Speaker 3 (06:34):
Looks a little bit like Brodie, a younger maybe, well
like a better groom, well loved.

Speaker 1 (06:43):
Yes, the dog looks happy, but he's that's his dog, Benson,
he said. Benson is the only person he told the
secret that he had been named.

Speaker 3 (06:52):
He has three older sisters. It's so surprising to me
that he would not have told one of them. But
he wouldn't tell us if he told them. I mean,
you feel like you could keep that secret with your sisters?

Speaker 1 (07:02):
Could Who would? I? I don't can't imagine.

Speaker 3 (07:04):
Not.

Speaker 1 (07:05):
There's certain people, no matter what happens in your life,
certain people you're gonna tell, aren't you?

Speaker 3 (07:09):
I always so the rule has always been, whether it's
a rumor or it's something exciting, you always tell one person,
and then that person always tells one person means everybody's gonna.

Speaker 2 (07:17):
Know, which means everyone knows.

Speaker 3 (07:18):
But you, I do believe there are people in your
life that you could tell that they would and I
think everyone needs to have that one person.

Speaker 2 (07:24):
So yeah, maybe he I don't have that one. Hello,
you're staring at her.

Speaker 1 (07:29):
No, you've told some stuff before that you weren't supposed
to let go of, and you know that and I
found out about it after the fact, and it crushed
us and it put us back several months in this relationship.

Speaker 2 (07:39):
What are you talking about? I don't even know you
want me to.

Speaker 1 (07:43):
I could start naming some stuff, but this is about
Jonathan Bailey right now. So let's stay on the sexy
path that we're on now. From this article, we did
learn some things about Jonathan Bailey. I want you to
fill in these blanks as well. You saw the part
where they just had him fill in the blank. Yes,
I thought that was cute, But I have an irrational
fear of blank. Is the example I'm using. His answer was,
I have an irrational fear of snakes. That makes sense.

(08:06):
What's yours sharks? Okay, what's yours? Irrational fear snakes?

Speaker 3 (08:11):
Yeah, that's what I thought. I you told me that.
By the way, if you see a snake, I am
not going to be your guy. I am not going
to be your hero.

Speaker 1 (08:17):
I'll deal with a rat, a roach, or whatever else.
But if it's a snake, You're gonna have to deal sister.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
That's funny.

Speaker 1 (08:24):
Another film in the blank form was at a party
I can't wait to blank? His answer was leave.

Speaker 3 (08:30):
And your answer is leave, so right now the two
of you are basically mine would be dance.

Speaker 1 (08:36):
I can't wait to dance? You mean jump? Stop? Okay,
all right? Next line for filling the blank for him,
every guy should blink. His answer was have a gay friend.

Speaker 2 (08:46):
I love that.

Speaker 1 (08:47):
What is yours?

Speaker 2 (08:48):
Every guy should m Every guy should know how to cook.

Speaker 1 (08:58):
Okay, I'm the sky.

Speaker 2 (09:02):
I know I'm just basing it off of what I
have in my sexy sexy fiance. What what do you
think every guy should.

Speaker 1 (09:08):
To stick with his theme, I'll say every guy should
have a black friend. It will it will help you
out of a lot of badsy, you know.

Speaker 2 (09:14):
What that is a really really good point. I love that.

Speaker 1 (09:18):
Fill in the blank for him. People are always surprised
when I blank. His answer was do a backflip really badly.
I don't know where that comes from.

Speaker 3 (09:26):
At least he tries and hasn't broken his head so far.
People always surprised when you what, am quiet and listen?

Speaker 1 (09:36):
Uh surprised? No, we are shocked, we are floored. We
think the earth is wow.

Speaker 3 (09:41):
I had a little self deprecating humor there, and you
took it, and you like, just what with it?

Speaker 1 (09:46):
Because you gave permission to dog you in such a
way because you started with it.

Speaker 2 (09:49):
Also the last and no, people are always surprised when
I You feel.

Speaker 1 (09:53):
When I when I when I tell them I'm from Arkansas,
people think I'm a city.

Speaker 3 (09:59):
But for some reason, Yeah, you have that that metrosexual vibe.

Speaker 1 (10:03):
Okay, oh god, my game plan this has turned into
a different thing. It's supposed to be about down now.
My game plan for getting older is blank. His answer
was to embrace it all. Yeah, it yours.

Speaker 2 (10:14):
My game plan for getting older is to act as
young as I possibly can.

Speaker 1 (10:21):
My plan for getting older is enjoying every last minute. Man,
I even get pissed to myself these days when I'm down,
I'm like, dude, you don't have time for this. Yep,
life is short.

Speaker 2 (10:36):
It's so true. I said that's I said that same
thing to myself the other day. I agree, there it is.

Speaker 1 (10:41):
This was kind of a cool answer. He was asked
what a perfect date night would entail, and it included legoses.

Speaker 3 (10:46):
I know this was funny, he said, it totally depends.
I love a walk, I do love dinner, theater, films.
It depends what number date. You know, it's like date
one hundred legos, although we Brits say it singular lego.
I didn't realize that and pizza. Some of my best
date nights had been lego dates.

Speaker 2 (11:05):
I thought that was pretty cool. What's you did it either?
What's your perfect date night?

Speaker 1 (11:09):
Uh? This great little restaurant I found recently in Tribeca
that has this great spatch cock chicken that you can
share with a date. And this particular Bardender makes the best,
the best in Tribeca. I would argue, Skinny Margarita's, that
would be a great date if it's raining. I used

(11:32):
to want to be in a movie if it's raining.
But no, no, no, no, no, I want to be home
to take it in the beautiful view and see it all.
That's a perfect date night to me.

Speaker 2 (11:41):
Well, I think you just nailed my perfect date nights too,
because I actually was.

Speaker 3 (11:44):
On that date with you, so it was pretty awesome.
I would say maybe just like start start with a
horror movie and then end with that dinner that you
just described.

Speaker 1 (11:53):
Oh yeah, because we could do horror movies morning, noon,
night exactly. Doesn't have to end the night with that.
This was a cool answer as well. Trait's most important
to him in a relationship.

Speaker 2 (12:01):
I love this and he nailed it.

Speaker 3 (12:02):
Communication and being clear transparency is absolutely utmost, utmost utmost
and really supporting, really cheerleading and watching someone thrive should
be a real turn on.

Speaker 2 (12:13):
I agree his.

Speaker 1 (12:14):
Answer here about your worst habit and this guy.

Speaker 3 (12:18):
You guys are the same person. This is your worst
habit for sure. He likes dogs, though this is okay.
You like cats, It's okay. There's a love of an animal.
His worst habit, he says, I'm an overthinker. My brain
goes off sometimes, like the fourth of July.

Speaker 1 (12:31):
So I've said similar things like that. I cannot like
my brain is firing.

Speaker 2 (12:36):
That's the word you use.

Speaker 1 (12:37):
Told you before, like hold on because you got a
lot coming fast and furious today, try to keep up.
So yes, wow, I have absolutely had that issue. Now
this is always fun. The sexiest Man Alive. This thing
has been around for now forty years, but only thirty
six men have actually gotten the title. And do you
know who was the first to ever be named the

(13:00):
sexiest man Alive? It's going to surprise you. Stay here,
We're gonna go a little through the history of People
magazine Sexiest Men Alive.

Speaker 3 (13:20):
Continuing our fascinating conversation about People Magazine Sexiest Man of
the Year. I have lost not just about the recipient,
Jonathan Bailey, but also about yes, the two of us
and what we consider.

Speaker 2 (13:35):
To be attributes that we would enjoy in someone.

Speaker 1 (13:38):
All Right, to a gage sexy man could bring us together?

Speaker 2 (13:41):
Right, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (13:42):
I feel like we're being torn apart by some of this.

Speaker 3 (13:45):
All right, Well, we teased before the break that the
history of this list is actually quite fascinating.

Speaker 2 (13:52):
It really is. And three men have held the title twice.
Could you have named who they were?

Speaker 1 (13:58):
One of them? You know what? Two of them are
kind of obvious. Same.

Speaker 2 (14:01):
I agree, I would obvious even.

Speaker 1 (14:03):
If you had no clue, you would come up with
these names.

Speaker 2 (14:05):
Brad Pitt, George Clooney.

Speaker 1 (14:08):
Yes, now, Brad Pitt actually got his within five years.
He was named the sexies Man twice within five years.
And that's a good run. That is.

Speaker 2 (14:16):
It also feels a little lazy.

Speaker 1 (14:17):
Come on, lazy, Come on.

Speaker 3 (14:19):
There were other men who could have grazed the cover
two in a five year period.

Speaker 1 (14:22):
He had a stretch in the ninth.

Speaker 3 (14:24):
When he was Tristan in what was that movie? I
just remember his name was Tristan. He had long flowing locks.
It was a western and epic westerns.

Speaker 1 (14:31):
What was it called.

Speaker 2 (14:34):
I'll come up with it.

Speaker 1 (14:35):
I'm kind of an interview with a vampire kind of
Brad pittcas Oh, yeah, I'm not. I don't. Mister Missus
Smith Troy, Oh.

Speaker 2 (14:41):
Good, mister and Missus Smith. He was pretty cute.

Speaker 1 (14:43):
And that one Troy Troy was awesome.

Speaker 2 (14:46):
Legends of the Fall. I didn't even have to look
it up. It just came to me. You never saw
Legends of the Fall.

Speaker 3 (14:50):
Oh my gosh, Brad Pitt on a horse with his
hair flowing. He was was one of his earlier, earlier
roles really cute.

Speaker 1 (14:57):
So you were trying to argue with me about them
being lady doing it twice and then you're like, oh
my god, wrap it on the horse and the hair
on never mind.

Speaker 2 (15:04):
Yeah, the one that's shocking for me at.

Speaker 1 (15:07):
Least is it only because of recent history. Maybe he
was the frickin' man.

Speaker 3 (15:12):
He was never my type, but yeah, I get it.
So the other man who was on the cover twice,
Johnny Debt.

Speaker 1 (15:20):
He was kind of a Chalomey before Chalomey, kind of
a guy that.

Speaker 3 (15:23):
Is exactly what he Yes, he has that vibe of
Timothy Shallomey for sure.

Speaker 1 (15:28):
The other guy who actually got the honor twice kind
of sort of was Richard Gear. They took a break
one year from having a Sexiest Man and they had
Sexiest couple and he was with Cindy Crawford. They were married.
I didn't know this.

Speaker 3 (15:42):
They were I can think of as Randy Garber, So
who was Randy Garver her current husband?

Speaker 2 (15:48):
Who Randy Gerver?

Speaker 3 (15:49):
Cindy Crawford, Oh, what's happening? Richard Richard Gear? Though I
guess I do remember, but I definitely forgot. They were
mad I don't know if they were married. They were married,
they were married for how long?

Speaker 1 (16:04):
Four years?

Speaker 2 (16:06):
I'm learning how long has she been married to Randy Gerber?

Speaker 1 (16:09):
Though I don't even know how to spell Randy Gerber.
I didn't know who he was. I'm sorry, wait, I
don't know who he is.

Speaker 2 (16:15):
He has you know what you know where you know
him from?

Speaker 3 (16:17):
He is on all of the Cosamigos trucks with right
next to uh Georgia.

Speaker 1 (16:23):
I don't know exactly who is.

Speaker 2 (16:26):
Said that he's on the motorcycle. He's like, you're a
kind of guy.

Speaker 1 (16:29):
I know exactly who he is. He does a partnership
with the Boot Company. I like Thursday Boot Company. I
have his boots. Yes, I know.

Speaker 2 (16:35):
Exactly who is That is Cindy Crawford's husband.

Speaker 1 (16:37):
Okay, so we get through all man, this is I
didn't expect this episode to be this, so, yes, we're
going through a little history here. But the first ever
sexiest man alive? Do you think you would have remembered?

Speaker 2 (16:47):
Never in a million years, and people now will go oh,
and I wouldn't have guessed it either.

Speaker 1 (16:51):
Mel Gibson nineteen eighty five. First ever sexy is male
Life it's so it's just the times that have changed
and what his career involved into in the contri verses
he went. But yes, John mel Gibson was the.

Speaker 3 (17:06):
Get go so, I mean it makes sense he that
he had all of those roles that Mad Max, right,
Mad Max. I was also thinking about when he was Scottish,
the Scottish We didn't watch the SAP movies Braveheart.

Speaker 2 (17:20):
Yes, oh you did get that one. Yay.

Speaker 1 (17:23):
Okay, I'm gonna go through a few things here for
you that I didn't put in there on purpose that
I want you to react to. Okay, okay, But the
stats on it, three sexis Men Alive passed away after
receiving the honor. Only three of the forty JFK. Patrick Swayze,
and Sean Connery. So all of your previous sexis Men

(17:45):
Alive are still alive except for those three.

Speaker 2 (17:49):
I thought that wasn't That's pretty remarkable.

Speaker 1 (17:50):
That's pretty remarkable stat. Only five people on the list
are not actors in the history, so it's been overwhelm actors.

Speaker 2 (18:01):
Yeah, so JFK. Junior would be one of.

Speaker 1 (18:03):
Them, Beckham, Blake Shelton, Yeah, John Legend, Adam Levine.

Speaker 2 (18:09):
Oh but I didn't really musicians.

Speaker 1 (18:12):
It's dominated dominated by those guys.

Speaker 2 (18:15):
That makes a lot of sense.

Speaker 1 (18:16):
Okay, thirteen have been a superhero in a film that's
funny in the years, Chris Avans, George all these guys
that played Batman then Captain America, And that.

Speaker 3 (18:26):
Makes I mean, yes, that's a sexy thing to be
a superhero.

Speaker 1 (18:29):
Okay. Fifteen of the guys in history have played on
screen doctors.

Speaker 2 (18:36):
So smart and saving the world. That's sexy doing it.

Speaker 1 (18:40):
While they got the award, I didn't, Patrick Dempsey, George Clooney.

Speaker 3 (18:44):
Oh, that makes sense, makes sense, doesn't It's a bunch
of them as R and Grays anatomy.

Speaker 1 (18:48):
The youngest you could come up with, if I give
you a second, The youngest ever was twenty seven years old.

Speaker 3 (18:52):
Hold on, let me see if I can give you
Was it Brad Pitt No, Keanu Reeves No.

Speaker 1 (19:00):
But I have a Keano story as well. It was JFK. Junior.

Speaker 2 (19:03):
Oh.

Speaker 4 (19:03):
I wouldn't have gotten that only twenty seven years old. Wow,
that is absolutely incredible. He was so damn young and
doing so What was he when he passed forty?

Speaker 1 (19:15):
Wasn't he?

Speaker 2 (19:15):
Was he even forty? Oh?

Speaker 1 (19:17):
Was he I don't. I don't. Maybe somewhere closer to that.
He was the youngest, the oldest to ever win was
at the age of fifty nine. If I gave you
a second, you would come up with this as well.
But it was Sean Connery fifty nine years old. That's
pretty impressive.

Speaker 2 (19:28):
That is incredible.

Speaker 1 (19:29):
Sean Connery's always looked good.

Speaker 3 (19:31):
Yeah, and that accent doesn't hurt at all. And by
the way, JFK. Junior was thirty eight when he passed
thirty eight, he didn't even make.

Speaker 2 (19:37):
It to forty.

Speaker 1 (19:38):
Now. Keanu Reeves is an interesting one. You just mentioned
he was sexiest Man Alive in nineteen ninety four, but
he got the honor twenty years later because ninety four
they happened to just skip forward ever didn't name anybody.
So they go back and say, you know what we
need to do it do right and do a do
good And at that time, Keanu Reeves should have been

(19:59):
the guy at time, we should have done the calculations.
I don't have the background, but they retroactively named him
nineteen ninety fours sexiest Man Lives.

Speaker 2 (20:06):
So lame, but he still got it. Did he get it?
Did he get a cover.

Speaker 1 (20:10):
I'm not sure, actually not sure.

Speaker 2 (20:14):
Wait, how many years later was it?

Speaker 1 (20:15):
It was the twenty fifteen he got it, But it
was nineteen ninety four I believe was the year he
was supposed to get it.

Speaker 3 (20:23):
I'm because I just want to Okay, So I wonder
if they did actually put together a retroactive People say, yeah,
I see one.

Speaker 2 (20:33):
Did someone just make it up? It's hard to know
in this world if they just made stuff up.

Speaker 1 (20:37):
But there's some interesting history here. You have any issue.
Mark Harmon was the second second sexiest man alive. He's
the guy from NCIS, but he was a big time
TV star at the time. Back then, Mark Harmon, I
never would have come up with him.

Speaker 2 (20:48):
I actually had to.

Speaker 3 (20:49):
When you said that, his face suddenly flashed in front
of me. But I had to think about it.

Speaker 1 (20:54):
But all these make sense, right, Tom Cruise makes sense? Yeah?
Nick Nolty, what was the movie The Bridges of.

Speaker 2 (21:00):
Bridges of Madison County?

Speaker 3 (21:02):
Yes, but he well, no, that's Robert Redford who he
did did a barb movie.

Speaker 2 (21:09):
Yes, yes, it.

Speaker 3 (21:10):
Was when he did Loewenstein Lowenstein, the Pat Conroy novel.

Speaker 1 (21:15):
What you can you know the author's name, but that's
the title.

Speaker 2 (21:22):
It was Colley because when I get put on the spot,
I can't come up with names. Oh my god, what
is the name of this movie?

Speaker 3 (21:29):
It was set in Charles in South Carolina. I know
all of these the Friends of types. Okay, so that
was around that time, so it makes sense for some
of these. But Harrison Ford was in there, Pierce Brosnan,
Jude Law, Matthew McConaughey.

Speaker 1 (21:41):
That was kind of a duff. Matt Damon's in there,
Hugh Jackman's in there, Ryan Reynolds. I was surprised. Maybe
he wasn't in there twice. Bradley Cooper, I could have
seen him being in there twice, Channing Tatum, these all
make sense.

Speaker 2 (21:52):
Tom Cruise could have been in there twice, Let's be honest.
I mean, he's had such a long history.

Speaker 1 (21:56):
Blake Shelton's in there, Dwayne Johnson is in there.

Speaker 2 (22:00):
Who else is Michael B. Jordan. Of course, that was
a big deal.

Speaker 3 (22:03):
I feel like that made a huge I mean that
his cinematic success was there, but that really launched him
into a whole other world, I feel like.

Speaker 1 (22:11):
And then you have Paul run and John Krazinsky, which
kind of went against the mold. They're kind of comedians, right,
they're not just obviously seeing, but that was an idea.
I love John Grazinski, obviously Paul Rudd is hilarious, but
those were seeing. It's kind of different choices. You're making little.

Speaker 2 (22:27):
Face, Eh, yeah, I mean I think that's good though.
It's good that they mix it up, and it is.

Speaker 3 (22:31):
You know, honestly, a lot of women will tell you
there's nothing sexier than someone who's funny, than a man
who's funny. And you know what, even if you have
whatever good looks, they fade your comedy stays.

Speaker 2 (22:42):
So I get that.

Speaker 1 (22:43):
Ah, so they and ten years are gonna be the
best looking guys.

Speaker 2 (22:45):
On this exactly. No, But if a guy can make
you laugh and make you smile, that is. I don't
think there's anything sexier truly.

Speaker 1 (22:53):
The last thing here is just who is this for?
And what difference does it make it he's gay or not?
And it doesn't make a difference. I shouldn't. I look
every year, I look at this and I go, oh,
that's a good choice, Like, oh yeah, that's a good
looking dude. Oh yeah, that's good looking. Nothing changed this year, right,

(23:15):
And women who look at this who have been looking
at it every year and have something or somebody to desire.
Who's the sexiest man? But if you give a lot
of women a choice, who you want to hang out
with tonight, this sexy heterosexual man or this sexy gay
man with the dog? Who are you gonna take?

Speaker 2 (23:33):
Yeah, exactly seriously.

Speaker 1 (23:34):
I'm asking you. I don't know that, but I'm saying,
he is so appealing to everybody. Yeah, it doesn't make
a difference, And I don't think it's a big deal.
It's history making, yes, but I think it says more
that it just doesn't matter.

Speaker 2 (23:49):
I love that.

Speaker 1 (23:50):
I love it.

Speaker 3 (23:51):
I think it's so cool, and you know, I was
just thinking, So that's a first, but it's also this
is a whole other episode. But I'm curious why people
magazine I didn't look into this, But we can maybe
do some research. They they have like the fifty most
beautiful people, but they don't have sexiest woman alive. Would
that be considered sexist? Would that be considered objectifying a woman?

Speaker 2 (24:11):
But it doesn't.

Speaker 3 (24:12):
It doesn't feel like we're objectifying a man. And is
it okay to say sexy when you're talking about a man?
But it's not okay to say that about a woman,
of course.

Speaker 1 (24:20):
Not who could I mean what we talked about talking
about and focusing on a man's appearance. With every woman
who got up and walked out the door this morning,
everybody who looked at her is focusing on her appearance. Yeah, right,
so not this feels different than odd, But how can we?
Is there a list most beautiful Maxim?

Speaker 3 (24:36):
Maxim has like sexiest Woman I think Maxim magazine magazine.

Speaker 1 (24:40):
I mean that was a while, but it was geared
towards men, and it was different.

Speaker 2 (24:43):
It was very different. It was actually more about objectifying.

Speaker 1 (24:47):
Yeah, I remember some of those covers in fact. Yeah,
but no, I think this is great and I love
learning about people. And I'm becoming a fan of somebody,
not through necessarily seeing his art, but learning about his
story and his history and his craft and his dedication
to it. And I this is the this is the
most I've been into the sexiest man live in a

(25:09):
long time.

Speaker 3 (25:09):
And let's not forget you were nominated for Sexiest Podcaster
last year.

Speaker 1 (25:13):
Yeah, they didn't reach out this year, a year older,
and something is not working. I will give back to
my beauty regiment I've fallen off a little bit of
past year, but no cool thing. Congrats to mister Jonathan Bailey.
Look forward to seeing him New Wickets.

Speaker 2 (25:26):
Yes, oh, we will be watching. You'll be forced to
watch that one as well.

Speaker 1 (25:29):
So we want to see him in it now.

Speaker 2 (25:32):
