And That's what You Really missed with Jenna.
Speaker 2 (00:04):
And Kevin an iHeartRadio podcast.
Speaker 1 (00:09):
Welcome to you and That's what You Really miss podcast.
Hello Kevin, Hello Jenna. This is very exciting. We're doing well.
New but old, same but old, same, same but different, same,
same but diff but just keeping it, keeping it alive,
keeping it alive in a fresh way. So, even though
we finished rewatching Glee, one thing we never want to
stop doing is connecting with all of you, the fans.
Speaker 2 (00:31):
This podcast would quite literally not exist without you, so
we want to keep chatting.
Speaker 1 (00:35):
With you, guys, and we love getting the chance to
talk directly with you, to hear your stories and to
find out what you love most about Glee and what
the show means to you, which.
Speaker 2 (00:45):
Is why we're keeping our Gleek of the Week episodes
going through all of this. It's our favorite way to
stay connected to this community and to celebrate you, the
fans who made Glee what it is.
Speaker 1 (00:56):
Plus, this is our way of keeping Glee in the
conversation in our new era of the podcast. Okay, Kevin,
this week we have Alexis here.
Speaker 2 (01:06):
Alexis is a real one. Alexis is one of our
biggest supporters, and every single week they post about the podcast,
review the podcast. We really really appreciate it. It does
not go unnoticed. And Alexis is here to tell us
all about their glee journey, which is quite funny and special.
Speaker 1 (01:28):
I feel very aligned with Alexis a lot of things.
Speaker 2 (01:31):
Oh, because Alexis has some deep cuts, some deep thoughts,
and some favorites that surprised even us enjoy.
Speaker 3 (01:40):
Hello, Hi you, I'm all right here. How about you?
Speaker 2 (01:46):
We are so honored to have you on here, truly.
First of all, your shirt. Thank you every single week,
you know, when we have an episode come out, you
I wake up to a post from you, and they're
always so generous and thoughtful. Yeah, you listen and pay
(02:08):
attention and promote, and we're just very very appreciative of
you know, you being a part of this podcast with
us a.
Speaker 3 (02:16):
Love fest from the.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
Get Oh god, you know, it does not go unnoticed.
Speaker 3 (02:22):
I appreciate that. Sorry for my dog, he's just like noxious.
Speaker 2 (02:26):
Oh, it's all right. My dog was just whining and crying.
I'm like, great, yes, of course, as soon as you
start podcasting.
Speaker 3 (02:34):
Like the second you guys came on, he's like.
Speaker 2 (02:36):
Like no, he dog also loves Glee.
Speaker 3 (02:39):
Apparently, apparently it's just so excited.
Speaker 1 (02:43):
We have to know like how this all started. So
how did you find Glee or how did Glee find you?
Speaker 3 (02:50):
That's a story. So I've been was justuistically like at
least like four times, four other times because there was
one introduction it was Brittany Brittany and my friend was like, hey,
you should totally like watch the show. Here's I'll put
the DVD on and I'm like whatever, and I'm like
that's not Brittany. What no, thank you? Right, and then
(03:15):
I was like whatever went by, And then the other
time was like my mom was like, hey, you should
watch the show. You would really love it. And I'm like, okay, Mom,
sure because like she was like really into Ricky Martin.
She was like, you gotta watch the show. Whatever.
Speaker 1 (03:29):
Third time, this is crazy. It's a long journey.
Speaker 3 (03:31):
So I'm saying I was like no, no, no, no no,
which is crazy in hindsight, because I like, I love
I love Glee.
Speaker 1 (03:36):
So like then you had to come on your own,
you know, on your own terms. You had to litter
it out right and find it.
Speaker 3 (03:43):
Yeah. So then it was another time where I was
like obsessed with John Stamos. I was going through my
Rocky Horror phase and I'm like, oh my god. John
Stamos was on gleet and he's saying like Rocky Horror
and like, oh my god. And I'm like, I'm just
gonna download episode and skim through it just to see
John Stamos.
Speaker 2 (03:59):
Why not?
Speaker 3 (04:00):
And then I was like whatever. And then I was
going through some stuff as if you couldn't tell I'm
really gay. I watched Clean Da. I was going through
my own career journey, and let's just we think we
all go through this thing where it's like, what's it,
(04:21):
what's this about? I'm gonna look up like girls kissing?
Let's just say that.
Speaker 1 (04:25):
Yeah, we all go through that phase where it's like,
but I'm.
Speaker 2 (04:28):
Not gay, right right?
Speaker 3 (04:30):
Yeah? So now I got suggested a Britanna like it
was like a fan at it or it was a compilation,
maybe both. But I started clicking on those videos and
I'm like, oh, this story's really interesting. It was like
I'm gonna check this out. And then that summer of
twenty twelve because it was after season three so I
didn't watch season three, was where I was like this
(04:53):
is it. Yeah, it all went uphill from that.
Speaker 2 (04:56):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I love that. I mean the
amount of shows I also had the exact same experience
with where yeah, yeah it's popular, everyone's telling you to
do it. I'm like, no, I don't want to. And
then same literally same thing. I find out there's like
some gay storyline and I'm like, huh, well, maybe I'll
just try it. Google that or just like yeah, watch
(05:18):
like a fan edit of like all the gay scenes together.
No literally, and you're like, oh, maybe I should go
watch this show.
Speaker 3 (05:24):
Yeah. It's just crazy because like people, other people will
be like yeah, totally, totally totally, and then you're like
and then they're like gay and I'm like, oh maybe.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
I will yes, oh yes, like literally, like I can't
tell you how many shows that's happened to me with
That's it's embarrassing.
Speaker 1 (05:43):
We obviously, based on your shirt and your posty, we
love Britanna, we love Santana. Yes, what other what other
characters do you who? Who else do you kind of
like resonate with and like what storylines did you really
love like throughout the series?
Speaker 3 (06:02):
Oh gosh, okay, So actually what's funny is that the
gateway was Britanna, but like when I started watching it
was like Blaine Kurt. Oh my god, Claine was like
my entire existence, like I just switched. It was weird
because like Britanna and then I was like Clane though,
but like I really resonated with like Blaine at first
because I was just like, oh my god, he's so
cool with his bow ties. I wore bow ties like
(06:24):
in high school because I went to Capitol School, so
I was like, go ties, like that's me. And I
just resonated with his whole like like he's just so
confident and so sure of himself. And I'm like, I'm
I wasn't that, which I was like I want to
be that. That's pretty cool, yes, exactly. And then Kurt
kind of on the same level, but like his journey
(06:45):
was much more like relatable because I was like, wow,
he really went through a lot, and you see his
arc from where he starts and where he ends because
I'm like, I just started rewatching again after we finished
Rewatch because I was like, yes, so like seeing him
the begin is so crazy now because you're like beautiful storyline, yeah,
where You're just like I connect with it.
Speaker 1 (07:06):
Okay, so what about because you love Clane, Like, I'm
curious to hear your thoughts on the hurt Locker Part
one and two. Oh.
Speaker 3 (07:14):
I remember vividly watching that as it aired. I was like,
what is And this was when I didn't like course,
I didn't even know what this chicksaw was.
Speaker 1 (07:22):
I was like, I don't know what's happening on?
Speaker 3 (07:24):
What is happening? What's going on? Like I was dying
because I was like, I know what was coming. I
was like, they're hinting at it. Something's gonna happen with Clane, clearly,
something's going on. What is happening? But like I mean,
for starters, they really made the canon Warbler's thing were
like they're gay, and I'm like, we know this, but
thank you for confirming that they're all gay? Right, And
then like you have the Sue of it all where
(07:45):
Sue's just like I'm in love with Clay and I'm like,
where is this come all of a sudden when you're
literally Sue's thing is like oh oh porcelain, and like,
I hate you all this all of a sudden. She's
like hurt Blane projection secretly, but I live for it
because it's chaos.
Speaker 2 (08:12):
There's obviously some episodes that people love, and on the
flip side, some episodes that people don't think that, like
the Britanna storylines or the Clane storylines were handled well.
Do you have like some highs and lows from both
of those storylines in the series.
Speaker 3 (08:28):
I definitely think that Britanna did deserve a little better.
I completely get where the lesbians are coming from because
like those like Britanna fans being in the trenches, they
would their right or die. They are the Plane and
Britanna battles I've seen over the years, last three years
(08:51):
on Twitter, it was like chaos, and I was just
in the middle being like, but guys, look at everyone.
I love everybody. Yeah, Like anyway, let's go watch like
what's you are already singing this solo?
Speaker 2 (09:00):
Guys?
Speaker 3 (09:00):
Look or like I'd be like focus on this, Oh
Shuster did something good? Like I'd just be focusing on
other things, like, guys, let's get along right, Yeah, so silly,
like it was all I was just like, I hate
Clane like and the other side was like Pretannon the claimven.
I don't think that the Claan fans were evil, they
were just more like whatever we left Clane, and then
they would also like behaters, secretly haters. They pretend they're like,
(09:23):
we're better than that, but they'd also be haters. You
don't want to be in there?
Speaker 2 (09:27):
Where would do you? Because I feel like you're here
and I mean this in a positive way. Okay, like
you are immersed and like fandoms, but I feel like
your relationship relationship to it is really healthy. Oh well yeah,
it sounds like it's healthy.
Speaker 3 (09:42):
I've seen stuff where I was like, Okay, I'm glad
I'm not in.
Speaker 2 (09:46):
Exactly where like where do people get the wildest? Like
where is it on Twitter? Is it on Reddit? Like
where are people? Because I get back in the day
like Tumblr? Yeah, Tumblr was the one.
Speaker 3 (10:00):
Yeah, Tumblr was where the chaos really was. I felt
like Twitter like is like evil, like this pure like
combination of joy and evil. There was no one between.
There was no like right, you're like whoa, this is
great or oh this is awful. It was just kind
of like let's set this place on fire.
Speaker 2 (10:17):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (10:17):
And then Tumblr was more just like I love this,
look at this really cool edit this person made.
Speaker 2 (10:21):
Tumblr was joyous because you could also like everyone was
expressing like their love for those things in such different ways,
and I could really explore like the niche of like
whatever it was where I feel like Twitter when I
first started, when Glee started, was positive and then once
Twitter became really big, probably by the time you started
(10:42):
watching Glee, Twitter was already you know, it was yeah,
it was on fire.
Speaker 3 (10:48):
Yeah, yeah, no, because I had to like find my
space because you have. You had to find those groups
of people that are just kind of like chill but
not yeah, like no offense to people who are passionate,
because like I want to point this out, I don't
know Glee Twitter that still exists to go after me,
but you know, there there are some people who are
very passionate and that's okay, but that's not my scene.
It's not my thing. But like, you just got to
(11:10):
find your people that you connect with, the ones that
are just like, yeah, I love the show and I
love it too. We love it so much. But then
we're not like sought our whole existence.
Speaker 1 (11:19):
Rather, so who have you found, Like have you found
like a small group of friends. Do you guys connect
just online or do you go to like do you
interact in person or like what is that like for.
Speaker 3 (11:32):
Me, well, I uh, we started on Glee Twitter, so
I've actually never met these people, but I feel like
I know them. Shout out to Albert, Lex, Emma, Maddie.
Those were like my go to is Maleiah. I had
to say that because it's you know, internally me like
Lee as a Glee fan. For that log, I was like,
I gotta shout them out because they're literally my Glee experience.
(11:55):
That yeah, but those those people, I would say, they
really made my experience fun and strange and unusual. And
we would mean like group chats or we'd like talk
through Twitter and just say things like we know who
we're talking to. They were just really a fun little
bunch of people. The fact that we still connect is crazy,
(12:16):
and the fact that we still haven't met each other
in person is even more insane. But like, I got
to see these people grow because of the show.
Speaker 2 (12:23):
That's incredible. Have you always been I mean your way
in was Britanna. How do you feel about musicals in general?
Is that something that you love or is that something
you had to grow to love?
Speaker 3 (12:38):
Oh boy, that's a big one. So yeah, and the like,
musicals are literally the best thing that ever happened to me,
like I love musical theater because Glee was kind of
like it pushed me into a lot more musical theater
that I thought I knew because I was like I was,
I loved like Rocky, Horror, all this other stuff before
(12:58):
I watched Glee, but like Lee expanded that for me,
and I was like, oh, I've never heard of this?
What's this? And then you go into this even music,
not even just musical theater, but like any kind of music,
but musical theater is literally like it brings me a
lot of joy, makes me very happy. Whenever they do
a musical number from any musical that I loved, I died,
(13:20):
Like at the Ballet, I don't.
Speaker 1 (13:23):
How did you what musicals did you discover?
Speaker 3 (13:26):
Who? Well, obviously I would say a course line because
I knew a churse line, like I knew at the Ballet,
Like that was the song I knew, and a few
other songs, but like that was the musical. Like I
got more into that show afterwards. I was like, let me,
let me actually watch the actual musical, Like I looked
for the old bootleg fantastic, trying to think that they
(13:47):
just real they did a lot of musicals yeah, no,
we did.
Speaker 1 (13:50):
We did.
Speaker 2 (13:50):
To be fair, I didn't know. I mean I've told
the story a billion times, but like the story is
like I obviously didn't know maybe this time, but I
also didn't know like Cabaret at all, thank you, So
I had to let me go watch Cabaret.
Speaker 1 (14:05):
Like literally, I was like, I was like, what, Like,
I know, there's another one I had in.
Speaker 2 (14:08):
Mind beyond being like, yeah, this song's a jam like
at the backlet like, yeah, this song is beautiful, but like,
let me see this in context.
Speaker 1 (14:17):
Yeah, yeah, it.
Speaker 3 (14:18):
Hits harder, like yeah, maybe this time hits a lot
differently in the context.
Speaker 2 (14:22):
That's how it's like, it's hard for me to listen
to Like if I'm introduced to musical and you just
hear the songs outside of it abstractly, it's sometimes hard
to connect to the musical. And so if those songs
already are impacting us when we're watching the show, then
in context it's just amplified, like how beautiful it.
Speaker 1 (14:40):
Is, yeah, or important? Yeah, are there any we've learned
like a lot of you know, through the podcast obviously
since you listen, Like there's sleeper numbers that Kevin and
I were sleeping on that we just didn't know were
so impactful in the in the gleek fandom world of
like Paradise by the Dashboard Light and some of those
(15:03):
other ones. What's like a number that you love besides
from besides Paradise that you wish you could have like
been a part of Why Awake?
Speaker 2 (15:20):
Because I had to.
Speaker 3 (15:20):
I had to find a gag way to bring that
up because I was like, like.
Speaker 1 (15:25):
Attention, I know, I know how you feel.
Speaker 3 (15:28):
You You're fantastic on that things like you've got heavy
hitters and there you got, Jake got you, you got
Oh my god.
Speaker 1 (15:36):
I know, I know, I don't know. I accept it.
Speaker 3 (15:39):
It's fantastic. It's a beautiful cover, no disrespect to the original,
but like literally it's probably in my top five probably.
Speaker 2 (15:51):
I want to know what are your top top numbers.
Speaker 3 (15:54):
I don't know if it counts, because like I feel
like Glee Christmas songs like I can totally count because
like people put them in category, so I never really
side is like a godsend to me. Literally, it's perfect
down to a te vocals Darren Chris Chefs Kiss Gloria.
(16:15):
But when people ask me my favorite Glee cover, of all time.
It is Gloria. Yeah, just the way you are. Not
the Bruno mars one but the Billy Joel one.
Speaker 2 (16:26):
Yes, moving out.
Speaker 3 (16:27):
That probably a good episode, though, I'm like, was that writer?
That one? Was the group? It was at the end
of the episode. That's right, cute little New York number
where like the introduction, the sneak peak of what's to
come and see that's right. The gosh, there's so many
New York state of mind? Will you still love me tomorrow?
Every breath you take. I've been listening to that like
(16:49):
crazy lately. That's a good one, constantly.
Speaker 1 (16:52):
Oh my god, I actually love that one.
Speaker 3 (16:54):
It's I honestly, I don't know how many times I've
listened to it this week, Like it's concerned. I was like,
am I okay walking? I'm walking at work and then
like I'll have it in my headphones. I'm like in
the zone, like all right, I gotta go back to work,
and like no one knows.
Speaker 2 (17:11):
I love you. Check in with yourself, Like wait a second,
all right, why is this one resonating with me this week?
Speaker 3 (17:19):
Oh my god, Yeah, there's so many, there's so many.
Speaker 1 (17:22):
Don't dream it's over a really good.
Speaker 3 (17:26):
It sounds incredible. He does my favorite, probably my favorite
thing Corey saying on that show right next to losing
my religion, because that's I mean, losing my religion.
Speaker 1 (17:36):
I'm with you, that's I mean.
Speaker 2 (17:38):
That is a strong list.
Speaker 3 (17:41):
Yeah, it's insane, very I.
Speaker 2 (17:47):
Like. I like that. It's not you know, it's there's
some deep cuts on there. Do you have some favorite episodes?
Speaker 3 (17:55):
Well, everyone says original song, and that's like I know
that episode like the back of my hand. Like, never
watch it with me in person, because I will literally
just say the dialogue and I know the feats everything.
Speaker 2 (18:06):
It's like a comfort.
Speaker 3 (18:08):
Well, yes, of course.
Speaker 1 (18:10):
Yes.
Speaker 3 (18:11):
New New York is another one I love so much,
like it sets the tone for the next you know
step in Glee. I thought it was a nice change.
It was fresh, different, and also when I went to
New York, funny thing. I went to New York and
for some reason, downtown like that from that episode flayed
in my head and I was like listening to it
on the airplane and I was like to like it
set the tone for New York. Yeah, props, I love it.
Speaker 1 (18:35):
Yes, I mean you're so good.
Speaker 3 (18:37):
I literally rewatched it last night. In preparation for this
because I was like, I want to be in the zone.
I want to like recount everything.
Speaker 1 (18:43):
You are so good, thank you.
Speaker 3 (18:47):
Object You're like legitimately like so campy, but you're also
so good at being serious, you know what I mean.
Like every episode, like you go from like this like oh,
I'm so shy, and then like by season five you're
just like you know what, I've had it apicially I'm done,
and I'm like, yeah.
Speaker 1 (19:07):
You've got a good read on it. You've got a
really good, so good thank you, thank you. Everybody is
really good in props, Like we've said, like that's one
of our favorite ones to have done because everybody was
just so committed having the best time, and boy, oh boy,
it was a big episode for for everybody, and especially
(19:27):
for Tinak and Yang.
Speaker 3 (19:29):
Yeah, especially for Diana. That's my favorite part of this,
just watching Danna Agron in the background.
Speaker 1 (19:33):
Just Sugarmanna is going off. I'm so tired of being.
Speaker 3 (19:38):
So serious so often like move around and do the most.
Speaker 2 (19:43):
Uh do you have a season ranking? Oh?
Speaker 3 (19:54):
Man? See it changes a lot, because like I was
thinking that last night, I was like two because I
always say too. It was my favorite. But then sometimes
you watch episodes and three and you're like three bangs,
but then you have one and it's like the beginning.
Because like I said, I've been rewatching and I'm like
season one has some like back to back to back
to back. Every episode is just like wow, and I
(20:16):
don't know, like it really flips. And if I had
to put in order, though, I would say two, three, one.
I don't want to say five. Oh no, I might
switch five and one. I don't know, no, one five
and then six and four would be at the oh
(20:37):
four up at four over six? Okay, Yeah, yeah, it's
not for something you have to really think about it
because you're like, no, I like things from this season.
I know, like season four, people talk so much crap
about that season, but I think it is literally like
vastly underrated musically. Musically it's very underrated. Like that album
I love just like listening to that entire like the
(21:00):
compilation everything is on, Like I just love putting on
a shuffle and just sad because it's so good.
Speaker 2 (21:06):
I think that was a surprise for us too.
Speaker 1 (21:08):
Yeah, definitely, yeah, or was I mean I always knew.
I remember going into four being like I remember having
a really good time essentially, right, yeah, but rewatching it,
I think I think people just had a hard time
with the new and with the transition, right because it
(21:29):
was like a really big transition after three seasons of
like being so in your face for in every way,
shape and form.
Speaker 3 (21:37):
Sure, yeah, because like that was literally when I started
watching as it aired. So I think that's my floor
is so special to me because it was like I'm
part of the thing now, guys.
Speaker 1 (21:48):
Because literally I have to wait every for every week.
Speaker 3 (21:52):
Because no, because I remember binge watching all three seasons.
This was before like streaming and all that. Yeah, So
I went on the family computer and illegally watched all
three seasons on just like I'd be stating there with
my headphones just watching and they'd be like, hey, Alexis,
I'm like not right now watching I was like in
it and then like watching it live for it was
(22:12):
so weird. I was like, and then I got used
to the same momnotony of like when are the songs
coming out?
Speaker 1 (22:17):
Right?
Speaker 3 (22:18):
Right, there was a schedule like they'd have like a
day where the songs would come out, and then like
episode and the sneak peaks and I was like routine,
and then when it ended, I was like, what am
I supposed to do?
Speaker 1 (22:31):
Right?
Speaker 2 (22:32):
Do you have any other fandoms that you are part of,
like like Lee.
Speaker 3 (22:37):
Well, I was part of this fandom. A lot of
people talk about it. Our flag means death. It was
not in Max, it was really I watched that popular. Yeah,
I was so sad when I got canceled.
Speaker 2 (22:50):
Yeah that was weird. They also like dragged it like
it's getting canceled or it's not getting canceled or yeah.
Speaker 1 (22:55):
No.
Speaker 3 (22:55):
It was infuriating because they would like Max be like, anyway,
look at this other show that's that we have right here,
and I'm just like, you're not advertising your show. It
was that one. I loved our flagging said. Even some
people that I was friends with when the gleed Fantom,
they were really into that too, so we connected through
that too. So it was really sweet. Oh god, I
don't even honestly, I'm ever since Glee, there weren't a
(23:16):
lot of fandoms and I think are flaggings. That was
legitimately the one time where I was like, i think
I'm going back guys doing it again because familiar Because Glee,
it was a lot. It was a lot like a lot.
Good good on you guys for avoiding that.
Speaker 2 (23:33):
For the most part. Every now and then it would
like my algorithm would flip and I would like be
in it for a second. I'd see something like I'm
not supposed to be here?
Speaker 1 (23:41):
Yeah, just like okay, not for me.
Speaker 2 (23:45):
I got to get out of here. Eject. Do you
have any other musicals because we're watching other musicals now,
do you have any suggestions for it? Could be TV movies, bootlegs,
whatever that you think we should.
Speaker 3 (24:01):
Watch Sunheim Sunday in the Park with George some Soundheim
stuff up in there.
Speaker 2 (24:09):
Did you know what I literally am? Okay, yeah, Jenna,
we have to I haven't talked to Jenna about this,
but that's my pitch.
Speaker 1 (24:19):
That's your pitch, Like, that's so very crazy?
Speaker 2 (24:22):
Yes, what literally, niche?
Speaker 1 (24:27):
I know you don't have to pitch me Sunday.
Speaker 3 (24:33):
Gena Love Theater.
Speaker 1 (24:34):
I assume that you see multiple versions on this point.
Speaker 3 (24:40):
Yes, I've seen the one with Annalie.
Speaker 1 (24:43):
I know I wasn't in New York for that one
after either, Wait, I did see that one, You're like,
hold on, maybe I didn't with Jake Jillen Hall yeah,
I did see that one. I'm like, wait, they didn't
see it. There's too many I just want.
Speaker 2 (25:01):
To say, she's in the park too many times with George.
Speaker 1 (25:04):
No, I know, is so good?
Speaker 3 (25:07):
Nothing about that?
Speaker 1 (25:08):
Okay, well, it was definitely gonna do.
Speaker 3 (25:11):
That Little Shop of Horrors, but like the director's cut,
yeah yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, the happy ending garbage that
and I love frank Us and I get where he
was coming from, but like girl, it's supposed to be said,
that's the point of the musical. Literally, the point of
Little Shop is like, hey, don't do that. Hey, look
at you one congratulations, Like no.
Speaker 1 (25:36):
All right, all right, we got to ask you, you
know what's coming? What is it? What is the feeling
that leaves you.
Speaker 3 (25:41):
With Oh my goodness. I was thinking about it too.
I was like I knew it was coming, prepared for it.
Speaker 1 (25:48):
I would say identity, great gratitude. I use two words can.
Speaker 3 (25:58):
Identity because like it. I didn't really know myself that
well and went before Glee and like I liked, I
knew what I liked, but like Glee, I feel like
I've found my people and I felt like, oh this
is me. Like that, just as a queer person, not
just you know, as somebody who loves musical theater, but
just like a general human being where it's like I
can relate to all these people and it's just like
(26:21):
I can. I just connected them. And I would say
great gratitude because it brought me a lot of people
that I got to see grow and become better people.
And just just grateful for you guys, Grateful for what
you gave me. Like Lee literally was a maje. Like
if there are you know how you have moments when
you're growing up like this staple, this staple right here.
This is like Glee was literally there when I needed it,
(26:45):
which is weird because they started it late, but like
it was when I was there when.
Speaker 2 (26:49):
I just that's beautiful.
Speaker 1 (26:53):
Well, it's been really fun to talk to you. It's
so nice to finally meet you after all the wonderful morning, said,
I wake up after an episode, I get to see
your poem. I was waiting for this. I'm telling you,
we see them. I'm really just because I'm not this
is crazy.
Speaker 3 (27:10):
I'm sorry, Jay, but like ah, like this is literally
a moment for me, Like literally this is major, and
I thank you so much for even inviting me because
I got the message and I was like, okay, sure,
and then a week later they're like, hey, so what time,
and I'm like, oh, like me, yes, okay.

You can. I end it by saying thank you for
doing this podcast, because I think what you were able
to do with this podcast is not only show other
fans and what you what you guys went through as
a cast and like what it took to get that
show created, but it also like made other fans who
were like part of it from the beginning to be
(28:31):
able to like experience it with you again and really
see it in a new lens. Like for me, it
was like a new lens where I was like, oh,
like you would say something, one of you guys would
say something, and I'd be like, I didn't even think
about it that way, And it put a whole new
perspective on the show for me. So for that, I
thank you for just bringing it back to me again
to remind me why I love it so much and
(28:52):
helping me see it in a new light.
Speaker 1 (28:55):
I appreciate you.
