Speaker 2 (00:04):
And Kevin an iHeartRadio podcast.

Speaker 1 (00:09):
Welcome to and That's what You Really miss podcast. Okay,
last time, we finally answered both Kevin and I.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
Hi Kevin, we knew you were dying to know what
Glee left us with you just you couldn't wait, So
we finally.

Speaker 1 (00:24):
Answered that, and we answered the question what is the
feeling that Glee leaves you with? And now we are
asking you guys the same thing because we know you're
here for a reason. We know Glee did something in
some way to you, so we're here to hear all
about it. So today's episode is all about your answers,

(00:46):
your stories, and the way that Glee has stuck with
you over the years.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
We love this Glee community so much and hearing your
voices just proves how special it really is. So let's
get into it for you by you here.

Speaker 3 (01:01):
You are, Hi, Jenna, Hi Kevin. My name is Tara
and I'm from Long Island, New York. I've been a
fan of Glee ever since I saw the Michael Jackson
episode back in twenty twelve, and the show has left
me feeling both inspired and nostalgic. Glee truly changed my life.
Glee and especially Diana's character Quinn, helped me through some

(01:22):
really tough times both medically and personally. The show even
inspired my love for musical theater, and I've now been
to almost fifty different Broadway shows. Having had the chance
to meet some of you, I can honestly say that
the Glee cast is something truly special, in one of
a kind. Thank you for creating something so meaningful, for

(01:42):
including the fans in so much of the Glee journey,
and thank you for continuing that legacy through the podcast.

Speaker 4 (01:48):
Hi there, Kevin and Jenna.

Speaker 5 (01:50):
This is Albert calling from Los Angeles. Wow, what does
Glee mean to me? So many things. It's my entire heart,
it's my personality. But I think think first and foremost,
it means friendships. The amount of friendships and relationships that
I've built because of this silly little show, because of

(02:10):
you guys acting like clowns on TV, is everything to me.
I met my clip one of my closest friends, Maddie,
who is the reason why I'm the father of two cats.

Speaker 6 (02:22):
Now.

Speaker 5 (02:23):
My fiance David and I have two babies, Violet and Klaus,
because our friend Maddie from the Glee fandom was like, Hey,
do you want a cat, And I'm just like, yeah, sure,
And sometimes i just look at her and I look
at them and I'm just like, Wow, you would not
be here if Glee, if I didn't obsess over lately
the way I did, you know, as a little gay boy,

(02:44):
and it just it means the world to me.

Speaker 7 (02:46):
I love you guys.

Speaker 5 (02:47):
You guys are fantastic and Kevin also side note we
met at the viper room at Austin show a couple
months back, but I.

Speaker 8 (02:54):
Love you guys.

Speaker 5 (02:55):
Congrats on the success of the podcast and I can't
wait to see where it goes.

Speaker 7 (02:59):
Bye bye.

Speaker 9 (03:00):
Hi Jenna and Kevin, thank you so much for giving
us the opportunity to speak about what Glee means to
us as fans. The feeling that Glee leaves me with
is definitely one of inspiration from all of the songs
and artists and genres that I was able to explore
and discover just from watching the show and hearing the
music As an artist myself, it feels so inspirational to

(03:23):
be able to hear those songs and see the journey
of the characters and try to take a piece of
that into my own life. And another feeling that the
show leaves me with is one of hope because of
the world that was created, not only by the writers
and by the actors, but also hope of a different time.
That when Glee ended, it seem that we were moving

(03:46):
forward in so many ways as a society, and even
though we've had setbacks in recent years, I do have
that hope that we'll get back to that world that
was created, especially in the finale of Glee.

Speaker 10 (03:59):
Hi, Kevin and Jenny. My name is Diana and I'm
from the Metro Detroit area. The feeling that Glee leaves
me with is gratefulness. Glee came around at a time
that I was struggling both personally and professionally. I'm a
music teacher and I was teaching at an elementary school

(04:20):
at the time. Twenty ten, I started my first glee
club at my school and it went for three years
until I was transferred buildings. I don't know where I
would be if I had not had Glee. I've gotten
back into doing community theater and am thriving in my
current teaching position. I want to thank you for everything

(04:43):
and all of the years of fun, and I'm joining
my latest rewatch as we speak.

Speaker 6 (04:48):
Hi, Hey Kevin, Hey Jenna. My name is Alan. The
feeling like Glee leaves me with is peace. Whenever rewatch
the show or listen to my Glee playlist or your podcast,
it's like coming up home to everything I love and
to the roots of my personality. Who I am now
is because of Glee. I get my absurd humor from Ian,
my magical realist opulent taste from Ryan, and my earnestness

(05:12):
comes from Brad. I'm also really proud to sing in
a gay men's chorus, and it's because Glee helped me
acceend my sexuality and made me fall in love with
music and performing. I feel like I'm in the new
directions of the Warblers every time I sing on stage.
So thank you both for what you're doing to spotlight
what a positive force Glee was then and also now.

(05:33):
And love you both.

Speaker 11 (05:35):
Hi, Kevin and Jenna.

Speaker 12 (05:36):
This is Nicole from Toronto, Canada and just wanted to
say love your show. I love listening to it. It's
my happy place. On Mondays or Tuesdays when I go
into work, I put my head EarPods in and I
listen away to your voices and get to laugh and
reminisce about the show that I level so much. And

(05:59):
what's the feeling Lee leaves me with? Well, there isn't
a day that Glee isn't on my TV somewhere. If
it's in the background, it's just my background noise. Every
once in a while, I pick up an, you know,
a line that I hadn't heard before or I have
heard before that just absolutely makes me laugh. And so,
you know, I don't want to see it leaves me Glee,

(06:22):
but it leaves me with such a good feeling, and
I just feel happy all the time. And I'm just
glad to have experienced a show like that. All the
characters are great, All the actors on a show are great.
This old lady at fifty loves the show about teenagers,
and I, you know, I let my my little girl

(06:44):
watch it, and she grew up watching it, and she's
twelve years old now and she's the most accepting person
in the world. And I love it. And it's all
because she watches Glee. And my niece as well, she
watches Glee, and it's the three of us together. We
love the show. It's our happy place and we thank
you guys. It was great and I'm going to miss
this show, but yes, thank you guys. All the actors

(07:07):
and producers and everybody that was involved with Glee think
you think you?

Speaker 13 (07:10):
Thank you.

Speaker 14 (07:11):
Hi, this is Kiara from Italy. Forgive the accent. I hope,
I hope I'm gonna make sense. Glee allowed itself to
exist while being imperfect, and the imperfections made it memorable
and different and so real for so many people. So
I kind of feel in an environment that we have

(07:34):
right now creatively, in which everything is meant to be
perfect and everybody feels so stuck by the judgment of others,
I feel like Glee leaves me with creative freedom. It
really does, because something doesn't need to be completely and utterly,
utterly perfect in order to have extreme worth and become

(07:55):
special to people. It just has to exist and be honest.
Thank you for everything, by.

Speaker 15 (08:01):
Hi, Kevin and Jenna. My name is Carolina. Carolina. I
am from Mexico and the feeling Glee leaves me with
is Glee made me believe in my dreams, made me
encourage me to follow my dreams. I've always been a
theater girl. I danced for so many years, and actually

(08:27):
when I was watching Lee, I really thought I could
make it into Juilliard. Unfortunately I didn't. I didn't continue,
I didn't follow that dream, but I did. I did
find some others, and I don't know. I just love Glee.

(08:49):
I just love rewatching it. Getting this excitement of these
new songs, these new adventures and everything all you guys
went through is just amazing. Thank you so much for this,
this beautiful experience you have. You have given us all.

Speaker 16 (09:08):
Hi Jenna, Hi Kevin. I'm Paulu or Paul and I'm
from Brazil. So what's the feeling that leaves me with?
To me is like a lingering feeling of belonging, because
first of all, Glee never left me. Glee is with
me every second from every day in my life. On
every new music he released, I'm first to make in

(09:30):
my mind a live version to it, like a crazy person.
But for real, it's being more than a decade and
we're still on an active community. It's like we never
left the choir room. We're still thinking about the songs,
all the Chris story lines, the couples, the friendships, the cast.
Naya Cory, it didn't left us. Lee's still here and

(09:53):
you always will. Thanks Kevin and Jenna. First you've been
here for us. I'm so excited for overcoming next for
the podcast. We'll be here for you too, Love you,
big presioning kisses.

Speaker 17 (10:06):
Hi.

Speaker 18 (10:06):
My name's Ali. I'm twenty seven and I live in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Glee leaves me feeling inspired throughout life. Glee has inspired
me to get my BFA and musical theater, inspired me
to make the jump and move to a bigger city
from a small town. Inspired me to be myself through
and through, and continues to inspire me after each rewatch

(10:29):
as I grow older and something new sits with me
in a different way. There is no other show like it,
and I truly don't think there ever will be. Glee
changed my life.

Speaker 19 (10:47):
Hi.

Speaker 20 (10:47):
My name is Caroline from Florida, and the feeling that
Glee leaves me with is friendship. I started watching the
show in middle school when it premiered, and I was hooked.
I identified with Rachel as a Burnett Jewish girl with
big dreams, and I was eventually known as the girl
who loved Glee, and I still am basically see when
I was entering high school and having a hard time,

(11:09):
and the Glee characters often felt like my friends when
I didn't have many. I eventually transferred to a private
school because I got so bad, and in that period
I felt like Kurt when he went to Dalton. This
comparison helped me come out of my shell at the
new school and blossom. I eventually went to college and
remember watching the series finale, this time with a friend.
I've gotten to meet Darren and Leah at shows and

(11:31):
share this with them, and I've even gotten Jenna's autograph
in the mail with her book. Glee means so much
to me, and it still provides the sense of love
whenever I feel down.

Speaker 21 (11:40):
Thank you so much for the podcast.

Speaker 20 (11:42):
Having you guys in my ear every week and reminiscing
has felt like having you as friends all over again.

Speaker 7 (11:47):
Hi.

Speaker 22 (11:48):
My name is Barbara and I'm from Mexico and a
feeling that Glee gives me.

Speaker 7 (11:53):
It's this feeling of wanting to.

Speaker 22 (11:55):
Be part of the show, and I feel like I'm
part of the show that I'm not. They just the characters.
The whole bibe of the show gives you this feeling
like they would understand you, Like the show completely understands
the way you are, and it's amazing. It's like, I mean,

(12:17):
it's not tangible, it's not something that it's here talking
to me, but it's in some way it's comforting. It
gives you this warming feeling.

Speaker 16 (12:27):
Hi.

Speaker 23 (12:28):
This is Jaden, originally from Manchester, England, but currently living
in New Jersey. The feeling that Glee leaves me with
is versely it's a warm and fuzzy feeling like whenever
I watch the show or let's listen to the songs,
I'm straight away transported back to that fifteen year old

(12:48):
he was watching Glee and loving every minute of it.
But then also in a sentimental way. The feeling Glee
leaves me with is.

Speaker 16 (12:58):
Family, is.

Speaker 23 (13:01):
Camaraderie, is happiness. Is It reminds me that different people
can come together and for a shared unified goal in
the face of adversity. Right now, we're all going through
different extreme times across the world, but we need to

(13:22):
find our chosen people and they can help us get
through it. That's what Glee means.

Speaker 16 (13:29):
Glee leaves me a way with the feeling.

Speaker 23 (13:31):
Thank you so much for this podcast, and I can't
wait to see what's next.

Speaker 24 (13:37):
Hey, Jenna and Kevin. This Josh first and foremost, I
just want to say justice for Tina. She deserved so
much better. But the feeling that Glee leaves me with,
I think is summed up by the plaque in the
show itself, which is Glee by its very definition, is
about opening yourself up to joy. It showed me that

(13:58):
there is joy in every thing in the arts, in music,
even the little weird things. Because let's face it, the
show got increasingly weird as it went on, but you know,
life is weird. Chasing your dreams is weird, especially in
the arts, but there is still so much joy to
be found in that weirdness as long as you're open

(14:18):
to it. The show came into my life when I
was an awkward, depressed, closeted nerd, and it helped me
see that I too had a voice that mattered, and
that I would get my time in the spotlight too.
It helped me realize that being cool was in everything.
The only thing worth being and celebrating was who I
really was, and through that it gave me some of

(14:39):
my most cherished times. We didn't always have money, but
we always had the music, and now I have the
memories too, and I am so so.

Speaker 7 (14:49):
Thankful for that.

Speaker 24 (14:50):
The show was a joy and getting to relive it
with you guys was a joy as well. So thank you.

Speaker 18 (14:56):
Hi.

Speaker 7 (14:57):
My name is Chris, Hi Kevin, Hi, Hi Jenna.

Speaker 25 (15:01):
Feeling that Glee gives me is absolute joy. I have
probably rewatched the show ten thousand times, to the point
where people are probably sick of me. My boyfriend especially,
it's very hard for him to get hooked onto the show.
He's like, you're watching this again, But it's one of

(15:22):
my comfort shows. Even after you know, some of the
things that have happened, you know, as years went by,
it's still is something wonderful and something that I remember
is bringing me and some of my best friends together
that we would sit down and watch together back when
it was you know, when it was still normal to

(15:44):
sit down and watch network TV. So I wanted to
thank you for bringing me and my some of my
best friends together, and thank you for the opportunity to
let me record this for you guys today.

Speaker 8 (15:55):
Hi, Jenner and Keevan, this is Verity cooling in from
New Zealand and the feeling that Glee leaves me with
is just immense gratitude.

Speaker 26 (16:04):
So back in twenty ten, some people from my university
were inspired to start a glee club that because of
a TV show, and I joined it the very first
year because obviously, as a musical.

Speaker 8 (16:17):
Theater not I had to go and join the glee
club at UNI.

Speaker 26 (16:21):
And through it, I not only ended up becoming a
president and having an amazing time and it taught me
so much, but I also met some of my best
friends who I'm still friends with today, and I would
never have known them if it wasn't for you guys
and for the TV show. And while I loved watching
it and I know still I did the whole rewatch
with you.

Speaker 8 (16:41):
Guys, and I absolutely loved it.

Speaker 26 (16:42):
But the thing that I'm really grateful for is that
it completely changed my life and introduced me to some
of the best people I know. So thank you so
much for that and for everything that you've done.

Speaker 11 (16:53):
Hi, everyone, I'm sorry.

Speaker 27 (16:55):
I'll love for Mealy. I discovered the Green two thousand
and nine when I was barely loving and full of curiosity.
It helped me to feel braver, open minded, and kind
towards the world in its diversity. It was essential into
shaping the woman that I am today and the way
that I think can see the world around me. Re
assured me that be respectful and kind towards others. It's

(17:16):
fundamental and can help you feel better about yourself. Leads
me with great joy, pride, and a little bit of nostalgia.
So thank you give family for everything that you taught me.
That love is love and that's all that matter. You
all have a special place in my heart with lots
of love.

Speaker 11 (17:32):
Bye.

Speaker 16 (17:34):
Hi.

Speaker 21 (17:34):
My name is Chloe and after watching Glee I feel
really really excited and happy because I get a really
strong urge to listen to Lee covers and analyze literally
every single plot point from like every single episode ever
with my friends and just tell them everything I noticed
in my theories and just.

Speaker 24 (17:57):
A lot of other stuff.

Speaker 21 (18:00):
I also consume a lot of fan medium of Glee
on other pieces on the internet.

Speaker 28 (18:04):
Yeah, thank you, Hi, Kevin and Jenna. My name is Elena.
I'm twenty eight. I'm from Seattle. I would consider myself
a day one gleek. I started watching Glee as it
was premiering on TV when I was in middle school,
and since then I probably rewatched the show over a
million times and can quote it front to back like

(18:24):
it's my job. But what I would say the feeling
Glee leaves me with is pride because when I first
started watching Glee in middle school, I didn't know that
I was a lesbian, and just watching and rewatching Santana's
storyline of coming out to Aboula as I got older,
and a lot of different coming out storylines that happened

(18:46):
over the course of the show made me realize that
I was a lesbian and helped me to be more
comfortable with identifying as a lesbian. So, yeah, pride is
probably what I would say.

Speaker 7 (18:56):
The feeling Glee leaves me with is.

Speaker 29 (18:59):
Hi, my name is Nola Meyer, and this is the
feeling that Glee leaves me with. The feeling Glee leaves
me with is like being emotionally mugged by a glitter cannon.
You go in expecting a quirky high school musical and
by the end you're crying over a slow motion Hallway
performance of Cough Syrup, questioning your life choices and contemplating

(19:22):
if slushies are a legitimate form of conflict resolution. Confused
by sus Sylvester just monologued about world peace in a tracksuit,
and somehow I'm sitting there invested in seventeen overlapping love triangles,
none of which makes sense, yet all of which I
care about deeply. It's hilarious because it shouldn't work, and

(19:43):
yet it does, like a chaotic fever dream choreographed by
Broadway and sponsored by Emotional Whiplash.

Speaker 30 (19:51):
Hey Denna, Hey Kevin, this is Melissa. I'm a huge
fan of Glee. I'm a huge fan of your podcast.
And yeah, the feeling that Glee leaves me with is
just passion for the music.

Speaker 31 (20:07):
It's the feeling to be, to be, to be who
I want to be, to not care what others think
of me, and to always live out my dream whatever
the people say.

Speaker 30 (20:24):
And I should never ever underestimate myself. This is what
I learned from Great Glee, and this is what I
always learn when I come back and watch this TV
show over and over again. I learn it every single lay.
I learned it from all the characters. I am so
thankful for every single actor, every single character that was

(20:45):
ever on the show. You help me a lot in
chasing my dream. Thank you so much. I love you.

Speaker 32 (20:50):
Hi Kevin and Jender. My name is Edward the feeling
that Glee leaves me with his happiness as someone with autism.
Glee has been a huge comfort in my life. It
makes me feel safe, inspired, and understood in a way
that's few shows ever have. The characters, the music, the friendships.
They've given me so much joy as they remind me

(21:12):
that there's always a place where I belong. That's the
feeling Glee will always leave me with.

Speaker 31 (21:19):
Hi.

Speaker 33 (21:20):
My name is Ellington Campbell. I'm sixteen years old and
I live in Vancouver, British Columbia. The feeling that Lee
leaves me with is acceptance. Glee has changed the way
I interact and share myself with other people. It's made
me feel like the things I am passionate about, namely
musical and theater and theater which I want to pursue

(21:42):
after high school, are just as important as more conventional interests,
and has inspired me to be the person I am today.
Thank you Jenna and Kevin for this incredible podcast. It's
meant so much to me.

Speaker 34 (21:55):
Hi, Kevin and Jenna, I'm Gliemi and I'm from Brazio.
I fell in love with Glee the moment I saw
trailer for the pilot back in two thousand and nine.
So I consider myself one of the og Brazilian Greeks
and the feeling that Glee leaves me with is plots
and lots of love. If it wasn't for Glee, I
wouldn't have met the love of my life, my now husband, Leo.
We've been together for ten years and we met and

(22:16):
shared our first kiss in a Glee celebration party that
happened the weekend before the finale originally aired in March
twenty fifteen. And although Glee was an integral part of
our love story, we had never watched the series together
until you guys started the podcast, so we rewatched the
entire show together for the first time because of you

(22:37):
listening to every single episode of the podcast. And the
craziest coincidence is we saw the last episode of the
show in our two year marriage anniversary this past July.
So you guys were and still are very important to us,
and for that I say thank you, and Jenna come
to Brazil with Kevin the next time.

Speaker 35 (22:54):
Okay, bye, Hi Jenna, Hi Kevin. This is Connie. I'm
from England in the UK. The only way I can
think to describe The feeling that Glee leaves me with
is you know, that feeling of safety and comfort when
you're at home. Maybe you're on the sofa, wrapped up

(23:14):
under a blanket at the end of the day. Maybe
you've got dogs or pets or cats or whatever it
is surrounding you, maybe kids, maybe another half, or maybe
you're just happy on your own company. But you are
at home and you have just that feeling of safety
and comfort and warmth.

Speaker 11 (23:32):
Of being at home.

Speaker 35 (23:34):
That is how I feel anytime I watch or think
about Glee. And I didn't feel that very much growing up,
so having Glee was a massive comfort. But yeah, thank
you both for doing this and for doing this podcast.
Lots of love to both of you. Thank you.

Speaker 30 (23:50):
Hi.

Speaker 8 (23:51):
I'm Nadia.

Speaker 36 (23:52):
And the feeling that Glee lazy with is just joy,
Like there's no other way, Like I don't even know
how to describe it.

Speaker 8 (24:00):
It's my comfort show.

Speaker 36 (24:02):
It's always there for me after a long day or
even a fine day, if I just want to watch it.
I feel connected to the cast like they're my family,
Like you guys are all my family, and you know
I've been there for all you go through and it's
just the most iconic show, and I feel bad for
anyone who has not watched Glee because they're really missing out.

Speaker 7 (24:31):
Hey, Kevin and Jenna, it's James Hander the second here.

Speaker 37 (24:34):
If I could say one word that Glee leaves me with,
not to reference the show itself, but is courage. Glee
came out at a time when I was a freshman
in high school. I graduated the same time the characters
did in season three. I started a glee club at
my high school because of it. It really got me

(24:55):
out of my shell and got me into performing way
more out of my comfort zone than I normally had.
And it made me stronger because it helped me come
out and be more accepting of myself after seeing so
many characters on the show, Santana, Kurt Blaine, even Karowski later.

Speaker 7 (25:22):
Just make me a stronger person.

Speaker 37 (25:25):
And I love you watching it every year.

Speaker 7 (25:28):
Basically, thanks guys.

Speaker 19 (25:31):
E Kevin and Jenna. My name is Chastity from New
Jersey and the feeling that Glee leads me with is
a feeling of comfort. I once read that people rewatch
shows when they feel like the world is unpredictable or
scary because it gives them a comforting feeling the show

(25:52):
being predictable to them, them being familiar with what's going
to happen. It really just kind of helps when everything
maybe outside of your world is maybe.

Speaker 13 (26:05):
Not as predictable. And I feel like Glee is that
is one of those shows for me. I know that
no matter how many times I rewatch, i am going
to laugh, I'm going to cry, I'm going to be
excited for the characters, and overall just feel comfortable watching
the show, knowing what's going to happen, and just feeling

(26:28):
happy as I'm watching it.

Speaker 38 (26:31):
Hi, Jenny and Kevin man named Charlotte and I'm from
Yorkshire in the UK. I'm so glad you put this
question out there, because I love when you ask your
guests this question. But for me, I couldn't really pinpoint
one word to describe the feeling that Glee leaves me with.
So I've just thought of a lot of words that
kind of encompass it for me as a whole. Comfort, happiness, sadness, familiarity, warms, joy, love, acceptance, community, grateful, inspired, safe,

(27:06):
and thankful. Glee is just my show. I watch it
all the time, constantly watching Glee, and it ultimately does
the right, it says in the tin, it brings glee
into my life and lots of other people's lives, which
may sound a bit cornet, but I don't care. I
just love it so much and thank you so much
for doing this podcast. I've just really enjoyed listening to

(27:28):
it every week.

Speaker 39 (27:29):
Hi'm Linda Jane, and I have been a massive, massive
bleak since the age of three, ever since I watched
the time warp scene. I did not watch the full episode,
so no worries there at the edge of three. But
when I watched that scene, I immediately fell in love
with the show, and I knew that this was going
to become a huge part of my life, and it did.

(27:50):
It got me through my parents' divorce, It got me
through COVID.

Speaker 40 (27:54):
It got me through so many dark holes in my life.
So I just want to first off, thank you guys
so much for being a big part of my life.
And that show has just brought me so much comfort
and enjoy Watching you guys in that choir room, it
just felt like I was in that choir room with
you guys, and it just brought me. It still brings
me so much comfort and happiness and glee you know, obviously,

(28:19):
but it really expanded my love for music, which is
a big part of my life as well. And I
just want to just thank.

Speaker 39 (28:25):
You guys for making that show so great and it's
my favorite show of all time and it just means
so much to me.

Speaker 7 (28:34):
I am a leak for life.

Speaker 41 (28:36):
Hi, Kevin and Jenna, Oh my gosh, I can't believe
I'm doing this. My name is Hannah, and I am
y'all's biggest fan. I've watched Glee over and over again
so many times since I was in the sixth grade.
I probably watched it at least like three times a year.
My family and my best friend gets sick of me
rewatching it because I know, like the dance moves, a dialogue,

(28:59):
the music and everything. But I would say that Glee
leaves me the feeling with comfort. Literally no one has
said that until I think the most recent episodes and
I was like, oh my gosh, like what, but yeah,
the feeling Glee leaves me with is comfort. It's definitely
my comfort show. Whatever move I'm in, I know I

(29:20):
can always rely on the show making me just feel
better and uplifted and at home. It's just so nostalgic
for me and I love it. Thank you guys so
much for doing this podcast and I can't wait to
see what the future holds.

Speaker 21 (29:32):
Love you guys.

Speaker 42 (29:33):
Bye, Hi, Kevin, Hi Jenna. This is tatio Na from Brazil.
And the feeling that Glee leaves me with is just
a feeling normal and seen and included because I started
watching the show when I was thirteen, and I went
back and watched the whole sentence coming out and her
figuring out her relationship with Brittany and her sexuality, and

(29:56):
I was going through that myself as a young girl.
Seeing yourself on TV at that time was not the
easiest thing. So having that representation was so important to
me and to so many other people who are fans
of the show to this day, because I think for
everyone there was a character who went through something like

(30:16):
them or who looked like them. And that's why I
think the show is still so important to me because
it shaped me in a way and they created this
sense of community the lasts to this day of being
included and that. Guys, I love the podcast, Love you guys,
Thank you Bye.

Speaker 30 (30:34):
Hi.

Speaker 17 (30:35):
My name is Sophie. I'm from Sweden and the feeling
that Glee leaves me with is the feeling of healing.
I've always said that if I need something to pick
me up, you know, whether I'm feeling sick or just
feeling very down or sad, I've watched an episode of
Glee and it works like medicine, and it's still the

(30:59):
same today, sixteen years later. So I'm so grateful for
Gilee and also all the inspiration and thank you guys
for a great podcast.

Speaker 43 (31:10):
Hello, fellow Gleek's. My name is Stephanie, and the feeling
that Glee leaves me with is just pure joy. This
show means the absolute world to me and will always
hold a special place in my heart.

Speaker 5 (31:24):
To me, it's more than just a show.

Speaker 43 (31:26):
It feels like life itself at times, with all of
its ups and downs. There's joy, and there's laughter and humor,
but also there's some heartbreak and loss too. It shows
kind of what it means to win and to fail,
to love and to grieve too. And the fact that
all of these moments are expressed through music makes it even.

Speaker 7 (31:48):
More moving of an experience.

Speaker 43 (31:50):
It's a reminder and a love letter to us all
that no matter what we go through, there's always love
and family and always a song to carry us through.

Speaker 7 (32:00):
Thank you Glee.

Speaker 11 (32:01):
Hi, my name is Wednesday, and the feeling that Glee
leaves for me is to keep on believing in yourself
and keep on going no matter how many times you
get pushed down, just get back up on your feet
and keep going. That's the feeling that Glee leaves with me.

Speaker 30 (32:17):
Hi, Kevin and Jenna.

Speaker 44 (32:19):
My name is Bailey, and I would say the feeling
that Glee leaves me with is community. Like no matter
what happened to those characters, they all found their way
back to each.

Speaker 19 (32:33):
Other, and.

Speaker 44 (32:36):
Like literally no matter what happened, like despite all the
craziness that there was in the show, despite literally every
like maddening and confusing thing that ever happened to them,
no matter what happened, they always found their way back

(32:57):
to each other. And That's what I've always loved about
it and why I always go back and rewatch it
because I love that feeling of community and that no
matter what anybody goes through, no matter how bad it is.

Speaker 4 (33:14):
They always found their way back to each other. Thank you, guys,
so much, to every every one of you who sent
in your stories and your memories. We truly could not
do this without you. We wouldn't do this without you,
This podcast wouldn't exist without you and live on. So
just hearing how what the feelings are, how what Glee

(33:35):
left me with, how it's touched you, how it's changed you,
how it's raised you, means the world does and we
really really so so it's so grateful.

Speaker 45 (33:46):
So before we go, no, we're not done yet. The
