Speaker 1 (00:02):
Happy holidays. Okay, it's the service.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
I'm maguire, I'm a keyboards.
Speaker 1 (00:08):
I'm jazzing brands.
Speaker 2 (00:10):
I yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 3 (00:12):
I was.
Speaker 1 (00:15):
Special guest today, Material Boy.
Speaker 4 (00:18):
Thank you, thank you for having me.
Speaker 1 (00:20):
It's on YouTube. You can stream it now. Hilarious. I'm
gonna ask you why material Boy you have the Madonna
Yeah instrument.
Speaker 4 (00:30):
Just because I was kind of like in comedy right now,
it's a big wave of people like doing a bunch
of crowd work, like that's kind of what's popping, and
I was I'm more old school in the sense of
like I don't really want to talk about what people,
how they met or whatever. I just like I wrote
jokes and I want to deliver them.
Speaker 2 (00:45):
Just the material, Yeah, just the materials.
Speaker 1 (00:48):
I was over here thinking you were Donna.
Speaker 2 (00:51):
No. I actually had to get Madonna to like.
Speaker 1 (00:56):
She did.
Speaker 2 (00:58):
Was really cool and we offer her like money and
she was like you, I got money for me? She
like she was.
Speaker 1 (01:10):
That is so dope that you actually like who spoke
to her?
Speaker 2 (01:13):
Like who?
Speaker 4 (01:14):
My manager connected with her manager and he was like hey,
because because they used original they sampled material Boy in
the in the in the music for it and she was,
and Madonna loves comedy. She always comes by the comedy seller.
So a manager was like, send us a special because
she wanted to see like what she was putting. Yeah, yeah,
And it was like she's she's watching it on the
jet to Europe tonight, and.
Speaker 3 (01:38):
She liked it obviously, yeah, she was like she got
back to she was like, hey, it's great, and then
we were like, we'll give you a because at that
time we were chinking about selling it to the streamers
or whatever.
Speaker 1 (01:47):
And she was like, then your next one can be
like a virgin.
Speaker 2 (01:54):
Every special virgin like a vergion is not bad for
especially special if you were gay, but you're not.
Speaker 1 (02:11):
But you know, like a version would be good because
you talk a lot about relationships and like your lack
thereof so when you do get in a relationship, like
a version could be amazing.
Speaker 4 (02:22):
Well I feel like I say this now because I remember,
like I've told like a girl I was dating, I've
told them that like, would you rather me because I'm
going to talk about relationship?
Speaker 2 (02:31):
Would you rather be talk about our relationship? What's going on?
Speaker 4 (02:33):
Everybody tie back to you or you rather me just
be like a character that's like just saying random stuff
that nobody really knows.
Speaker 2 (02:39):
Who's about she decided, Yeah, she always picks.
Speaker 1 (02:43):
Yeah, rather you be fake, rather you be like fake?
Speaker 4 (02:45):
Yeah, Rather you be like a fake character on But
I be honest about it. I'm not one of these
comedians that's like, oh, I'm like, I'm doing a.
Speaker 1 (02:51):
Character like I do not want to be the subject
of these jokes. Yeah, some of them could sting, Probably some.
Speaker 2 (02:58):
Of them, right, yeah, especial like yeah, and.
Speaker 5 (03:01):
Like everything she said in the group chat to her homegirls,
you're gonna be talking about on the mostage and they're
gonna be looking at her sideways like that the.
Speaker 1 (03:07):
Version you told us.
Speaker 6 (03:08):
Yeah, yeah, I want to ask you about the what
is it called vision boards? Was that there's a there's
a joke over you reference that? Is that something that
in a relationship you saw, you know, a girl you
dated the vision boards orhere'd that come from?
Speaker 4 (03:21):
I think that came more from I have my niece
who was like, she's I have a old she's twenty eight,
so I remember she like believes and all that, like
believe it like that vision.
Speaker 2 (03:31):
Board manifestation too, And I always make fun of her.
Speaker 4 (03:34):
I'm a believer because I'm like the concept of like,
because I'm like, you also have to do work. You
can't just like put up the vision board and think
it's gonna happens.
Speaker 1 (03:44):
That goes along with it. Yeah, you know what. This
is popular meme on social media now on how true
it is, But it says thinking about working out, it's
just as effectives.
Speaker 2 (03:54):
That's a whole. I think I'm working out every day
and my still pandemic. But for your mental health, for your.
Speaker 4 (04:01):
Mental health, it's the same, though physically it's not.
Speaker 2 (04:05):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (04:06):
So you've never like manifested anything, you don't think.
Speaker 4 (04:09):
No, I had goals, like when I started comedy, Like
I had goals, Like one of my early goals was
like to have the HBO special, which I did that
a couple of years ago.
Speaker 2 (04:17):
And to be on the Tonight Show.
Speaker 4 (04:18):
But I also just worked my ass off to do
it too, So I don't know if I manifested.
Speaker 2 (04:22):
I dedicated like every night of my life for like
ten years.
Speaker 1 (04:24):
Yeah, you said you missed a lot of like important things. Yeah,
And it's a lot of sacrifices that come with wanting
to be successful. It feels like nowadays though people don't
people are now like I'm not going to skimp out
on those important moments. Like I feel like we were taught,
the older people were taught you have to work hard,
(04:45):
you have to sacrifice, you have to do this, you
have to do that, And now that like I'm not
doing that. It's with the new mentality.
Speaker 3 (04:50):
I think it's cause social media gives everyone this instant gratification.
So I think that's what's changed drastically is now everyone's
just trying to figure out how to be content.
Speaker 2 (05:00):
That's what I.
Speaker 4 (05:01):
Need to do, Like I need to be a content career,
but I need to be like I'm pivoted.
Speaker 2 (05:06):
Next year, Yeah, I'm pivoted. I'm gonna be doing interviews
in Tom Squad.
Speaker 6 (05:09):
Just like do you do you regret anything that you
missed while you were you know, locked in for those
ten years.
Speaker 4 (05:16):
Most of the important stuff I was there, Like I
was always there for holidays and birthdays.
Speaker 2 (05:19):
It was more little family stuff.
Speaker 4 (05:22):
My mom got sick when a couple of years ago
she got sick with cancer. She ultimately passed, and I
was there for the whole way.
Speaker 2 (05:28):
And I was only able.
Speaker 4 (05:29):
To be there because of the work I have put
in before it allowed me to just take three months
off and not have to worry about going on the
road of traveling.
Speaker 2 (05:35):
So I'm very grateful for that part of it.
Speaker 1 (05:36):
And I know she was happy to see the success
that you had her. Yeah you're the youngest, right.
Speaker 2 (05:41):
Yeah, I'm the young youngest boy. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (05:43):
Yeah, you remember you came to the HBO.
Speaker 1 (05:46):
I was dying laughing at you. I went to go
when Ida was producing his special and I was there.
Speaker 2 (05:50):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (05:51):
I remember my friends because I have my I'm from
New York, I'm from Queen So my friends they all
came out and after the show, they was like yo,
Like Angela Yee was in the audience like time.
Speaker 2 (06:00):
I was like, I mean, I'm doing the HBO.
Speaker 1 (06:04):
It was yeah, I'm saying, I can't be mad at that.
But that's why as soon as I'd have talked to
me about this, you know, I watched it right away
and posted it. And we definitely had to get you
on the show because you can really tell a lot
by seeing somebody in person. Now, I do have a
couple of questions because you said this is a character and.
Speaker 2 (06:21):
Not really an exaggerated character.
Speaker 1 (06:23):
Okay, so this whole circumcision thing that's really Yeah.
Speaker 4 (06:29):
I got circumcised. Yeah, when I was, when I was fifteen, insane. No,
I recommend it, like I know, it's just people listening
to you. No, no, people listening on the.
Speaker 2 (06:40):
FENCI about it. Get get circumcised. It's one of the
best things you do. That and laser. I got.
Speaker 1 (06:51):
Your dick.
Speaker 2 (06:52):
Those two three elevated, elevated.
Speaker 1 (06:56):
They are different sensation having for the you.
Speaker 2 (06:59):
Know that I was fifteen when I got it, I was,
I was like, I don't know, I can't sell all right.
Speaker 1 (07:05):
So your question, because I want to know, like before
what about masturbating purposes? Was it different because you were
masturbating before.
Speaker 4 (07:14):
You got I think I had just got to that point,
like I had just it was like routine.
Speaker 2 (07:18):
My question is what was your reasoning for fifteen? Honestly,
I just ain't like the way it looked.
Speaker 1 (07:25):
It's so diff.
Speaker 2 (07:27):
Yeah, it was. It was completely.
Speaker 1 (07:30):
Like listen my penises.
Speaker 2 (07:32):
Yeah, yeah, I was.
Speaker 4 (07:34):
I was like I told my dad, and my dad
you know he was I guess he's not. I don't know,
but you know, you know you want your son.
Speaker 1 (07:42):
To be like you.
Speaker 2 (07:43):
You want your son to be like you.
Speaker 4 (07:45):
So he was like for what And then I told
my mom and she was kind of like for what,
like what they thought I had like a problem, And
I was like, no, it's just cause cosmetic. I just
I just feel like I'm not looking my best and.
Speaker 1 (07:56):
I'm ready to show this thing and it ain't looking
like how I wanted to be seen in your.
Speaker 6 (08:01):
Family or like in your That's something that you guys
that the men don't discussed.
Speaker 4 (08:06):
After me, I'm like the person like I'm I'm like,
after me, this is how we are.
Speaker 2 (08:13):
Now get you're you're the you're the youngest. Yes, so
that means your brothers or not?
Speaker 1 (08:18):
Yeah, yeah, okay, I don't know. You try to talk
them into it, like, yo, bro.
Speaker 2 (08:23):
You need to Well he's married already. So he was
like for what At this point, it's done, was done,
is done.
Speaker 5 (08:29):
His wife will probably appreciated. I'm talking about a lot
of work.
Speaker 2 (08:32):
I think old school to the old school women to
I don't know if.
Speaker 6 (08:35):
I'm a old school woman, but I had stated one
guy that had him uncircumcised and it was really big though,
but it was some it was some challenges, but he
did ask me did I want him to get that done?
Speaker 1 (08:45):
And I was like no, because I wasn't gonna be
with him. But it's a lot of work. But if
you were going to be with him, would you have
said yes, absolutely? Have you ever been with somebody not?
Speaker 2 (08:54):
I'm uncircumcised and I love it. But also my dig
is I'm doing good in thedict department.
Speaker 1 (09:01):
But yeah, your pictures circulated.
Speaker 2 (09:05):
Yea, but it's a great dicks out of mind.
Speaker 6 (09:08):
It would be even bigger if you got it would
look even bigger if you got circum scized.
Speaker 3 (09:12):
You would never know, No, thank you never know. I
like the dick the way it is and Dixon dicks.
Speaker 2 (09:18):
I don't have a.
Speaker 1 (09:19):
But why do you love it so much? Because it's mine,
that's right.
Speaker 5 (09:22):
So so when you meet your twin, twin of them, Yeah,
and it's uncircumcised as well as.
Speaker 3 (09:28):
Long as as long as well gay man or typically
clean anyway, so it's never really issue in.
Speaker 2 (09:33):
The clean department.
Speaker 6 (09:34):
Listen, I listen, this is but I was getting I
was getting U T I S from him.
Speaker 1 (09:42):
It's not my cheese. It didn't have a cent or
any child.
Speaker 2 (09:46):
Yeah, it could have been anything. Some girls just get.
Speaker 1 (09:49):
Yeah, that's true. One, but I'm sure that I came
across the steak was it always once? It was our
first time and I was like, thank you. I think
it's just what did you drunk?
Speaker 2 (10:04):
Like that way drunk?
Speaker 1 (10:06):
Sometimes people hands down and that smet me in my face.
I said, I think.
Speaker 3 (10:13):
It's because sometimes men so lazy and to clean your
dick if you're uncircumcis is a bit more.
Speaker 2 (10:19):
It's a bit more.
Speaker 1 (10:20):
What do you have to do?
Speaker 2 (10:20):
You have to.
Speaker 1 (10:23):
And then you got to dry first. You have to
let it dry well.
Speaker 2 (10:27):
No, not really know you got.
Speaker 1 (10:30):
More than you what.
Speaker 2 (10:32):
Some straight man or man. Yeah, they just they'll just
let water drip on it and then that's clean. Yeah,
just get clipped. It's three weeks you'll be back to
because your recovery, it was.
Speaker 4 (10:45):
It was honestly at that time. As you get older,
it takes longer, like to heal from the surgery. By
that time, it was like two weeks.
Speaker 1 (10:50):
Like you were you like a region at the time. Yeah,
so you they didn't tell you like, oh, you can't
have sex with this amount of.
Speaker 2 (10:55):
Time, but I was like that, I'm good. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (11:00):
Did you feel like, you know how like when women
get their bodies, did you feel like someone needs to
see this.
Speaker 4 (11:04):
Oh yeah, and that was the I was in the
two thousands before the Me Too movement. Before back then
you could just you know, you could never just but
it was it was.
Speaker 2 (11:16):
It was not a crime crime crime. That's crazy.
Speaker 3 (11:22):
Now I've never I think uncircumcised. Look they look good.
Speaker 2 (11:26):
I like them. They think they look had.
Speaker 1 (11:28):
I don't have a hard yeah, hard, they look good.
Speaker 2 (11:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (11:30):
And then when you heard it doesn't even you can't
tell it's uncircumcised because it's the same.
Speaker 4 (11:34):
Yeah, I didn't have that. I forgot the name of
what I have. But you can't pull it. You couldn't
pull it.
Speaker 1 (11:42):
That's why you did it. Yeah, learning something about and
that wasn't retractable.
Speaker 2 (11:47):
It was Yeah.
Speaker 6 (11:50):
Did you know that? How do you know that you're
not circumcised? Is that a weird question?
Speaker 2 (11:56):
It's not a weird question, like right penis?
Speaker 1 (11:58):
Where you comparing your penis? Like, how do you know?
How did you know about that whole process?
Speaker 4 (12:02):
Because I was I was on the basketball team. And
then yeah, and then the part of the part of
the basketball is part of the ritually, like you have
to you go into the showers together. So obviously everybody
to get comfortable. You don't shower together, but it's an
open shop. And then you're like wow, yeah yeah, and
(12:23):
then they you know, they tell you I was young.
Speaker 2 (12:24):
I was for so you asked like yeah, because I
think somebody told me like you not this.
Speaker 1 (12:30):
Somebody told somebody like what's good with you?
Speaker 2 (12:35):
Yeah, and I'm like, what you.
Speaker 1 (12:37):
Mean, Like that ain't right where they're other unusual penises.
Speaker 4 (12:43):
Oh that's the thing. After I got circumstances, I'm responsible
for like fifteen other like period.
Speaker 2 (12:48):
Really you started a let me find out set up
because people who come to me like for advice, like yeah, yeah, bro.
Speaker 4 (12:57):
It was people who never like people I didn't even meet.
They used to like pulled me to side, like okay,
I'll talk to.
Speaker 1 (13:01):
You about that.
Speaker 3 (13:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (13:08):
No, I'm not like an endorsement and maybe you could
have circumcision parties.
Speaker 2 (13:12):
Yeah no, I mean I'm good. I'm good now.
Speaker 1 (13:14):
But at the time everybody comes and that.
Speaker 2 (13:16):
Story I never even told.
Speaker 4 (13:17):
I told her on the podcast once and everyone was like, yo,
you got to put this in your act.
Speaker 1 (13:22):
That's so interesting that I was like, I wonder if
this is true, because that's you know, I will say.
I hate to tell my brother's business. But you told
your brothers and your dad's business socise when we were
in elementary school, and I remember it was painful for
him and every time he went to the bathroom he
would be like screaming every time you pete, and then
(13:42):
my dad would give him water, so he was step screaming.
But they just make him have to pee more.
Speaker 2 (13:46):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (13:47):
No, it wasn't super painful for me. I remember, like
I remember going to the surgery. I remember being on
the surgeon on the table. The doctors like count down
from ten. Yeah, I'll count it down. And when I
woke up it it was done.
Speaker 7 (13:58):
Yeah, we did it hurt while it was healing, Like
you got stitches, so you gotta be I think the
worst part is as you're healing and I'm fifteen, you're
getting erection in the stitches.
Speaker 6 (14:10):
I will say, I can understand why why parents don't
do that to their their their babies people.
Speaker 1 (14:15):
Yeah I can.
Speaker 6 (14:16):
I can't imagine taking my son to have a dog,
but I can't imagine taking my son like here, y'all
can take.
Speaker 1 (14:21):
You as a baby. Anyway, I feel like it's better
to do it.
Speaker 2 (14:28):
I've never met a.
Speaker 4 (14:29):
Man who was mad that they got.
Speaker 1 (14:34):
The mom You imagine taking your baby.
Speaker 5 (14:36):
Listen, it's like getting there's.
Speaker 2 (14:41):
No medical reason to have it, unless there is.
Speaker 1 (14:44):
I don't think there is. But I'm glad that you
got it. Thank you, Yeah, thank you, thank you.
Speaker 4 (14:50):
No, no, for sure, if you if you have any
questions me, yeah, I'm here to stop the uncut st
the door.
Speaker 1 (14:59):
Yeah, it's a little Chillian here. So another thing that
and the especially was absolutely hilarious. We loved it. So
I want to explore some of the things that you
talked about while we were watching this. Dating a woman
who makes more money than you?
Speaker 2 (15:13):
Yeah, I did that one time. Yeah did you?
Speaker 1 (15:16):
But did you get like.
Speaker 2 (15:22):
The joke is based off one one person?
Speaker 1 (15:24):
But yeah, I've done it was like a true Like Okay,
well at that time, I.
Speaker 4 (15:30):
Feel like there's a I feel like there has to
be like a level, like more money what she's making.
At that time, I was in college and she was
a registered nurse, so she was a millionaire. As far
as I was, she was making an k Yeah, that
was insane.
Speaker 1 (15:45):
I did a barber when I was in high school
and I thought he was so rich barbars.
Speaker 8 (15:50):
Cash.
Speaker 4 (15:51):
Okay, but yeah, but but I remember she was older
than me. I was still in college. I remember I
still was trying to be like a gentleman. And I
used to like pay for dates. And I remember one
time we were just talking and she was like doing
her taxes and she was like reading off. She was like,
could you believe that I spent nineteen thousand dollars in
Victoria's secret last year?
Speaker 1 (16:09):
WHOA?
Speaker 4 (16:09):
And I said, how much did you spend? And she
was like nineteen thousand dollars. I was like, I'm never paying.
Speaker 2 (16:14):
For anything ever again, Like, if you want to date me,
you gotta you gotta pay for everything. At that point,
I was literally making like eight thousand dollars a year.
I had a lot of time job. I was making
the work.
Speaker 4 (16:26):
I was working at an adult home, a nursing home,
like when I was going through college.
Speaker 1 (16:30):
Okay, yeah that's nice.
Speaker 4 (16:31):
But she but she used to do things I have
it in this spress. She used to be like like
she used to tell me, like to call out of
work and.
Speaker 1 (16:36):
Then she would pay me, give you money for the day,
like the fifty dollars.
Speaker 2 (16:43):
Yeah it wasn't much, you would do it. I want
a joke.
Speaker 4 (16:46):
And I was like it's nice, but then you feel
like you work for them, like now like you like
you's like get to it.
Speaker 2 (16:53):
I'm like, I'd rather go to work.
Speaker 1 (16:56):
That's funny. I free.
Speaker 2 (16:58):
She's buying you gifts and stuff. She bought me. This
was it was her first time with money. I don't
think she knew how to have money.
Speaker 1 (17:05):
Yeah, spend the nineteen thousand.
Speaker 4 (17:07):
Yeah, she didn't know how to have money at the time.
She bought me, like an iPad when.
Speaker 1 (17:10):
Okay, that's a nice guess what did you buy her?
Speaker 2 (17:13):
Ever?
Speaker 4 (17:13):
That was I bought her like I used to make
it work. I remember I took her on vacation. Yeah,
he went on a cruise.
Speaker 2 (17:26):
Yeah, you know, flat rate, flat rate.
Speaker 3 (17:33):
When I was coming from a cruise, I was coming
from you had a crazy story on the cruise.
Speaker 2 (17:38):
Was one of the gay cruises.
Speaker 3 (17:39):
I've been out there being a little hole and the
gay people be seven days people.
Speaker 4 (17:47):
You telling me the stories, I'm like, I can't even Yeah,
a lot reckless, Yeah, I can't even imagine.
Speaker 1 (17:54):
But so, what how did you like being going on it?
I've never been on one. Is that something like? Are
you a regular cruise?
Speaker 2 (18:00):
I don't think cruise? It I don't like it. I
don't love it. I'm not gonna lie to you. I
don't even like it. It just it just pays well once.
Speaker 4 (18:06):
I'll you're only as good as webs on that boat.
So if you manage to get a lip boat, then
you'd be good.
Speaker 1 (18:11):
Okay, Because they have all these different cruise lines now
that are super four seasons.
Speaker 5 (18:16):
Be sending me emails. Yeah those ones, I would there,
but I've been on for them.
Speaker 2 (18:27):
But then go to.
Speaker 4 (18:28):
Cardival couple crazy, yeah, Carnif like Miami memor like.
Speaker 1 (18:36):
Do not do it to yourself, and then they changed
the rules so allegedly it's not even no more so now.
Speaker 2 (18:40):
Really I never did one. I've only done the gay ones.
And then I did one celebrity cruise because I was performing.
It was a nightmare.
Speaker 1 (18:48):
But that night when I met you.
Speaker 2 (18:50):
Yeah, I was coming back from it.
Speaker 1 (18:51):
Was off fluster. He came running in because I was everything.
Speaker 3 (18:54):
We met in DC like three or four years ago,
and I was late because everything I was coming from
Mexico to d and my fight was getting delayed. I
barely made it on time, and I spent the host
that talking about the gig career.
Speaker 1 (19:05):
You were funny though, thank you. Ye'll be enjoying that now. Listen.
I saw a Doug Gibbons posted something a couple of
days ago. She said, I'm thirty five people at the
second show in Austin. See this is why comedians need
to stay humble. So I guess she had a show
only thirty five people showed up for it, but she
said she was still rocking with the crowd.
Speaker 4 (19:23):
She's funny. I mean, she's a legend me. I mean,
I woun up her I did this weekend. I was
in Kansas. I was in Lawrence, Kansas at the at
the Friday second show there was five people?
Speaker 2 (19:35):
What five people? Yeah? The least I performed I had
to perform for that small Like in the long run.
Speaker 3 (19:39):
The least I performed for a paid show was Cocoa
Beats and it was six people.
Speaker 2 (19:45):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (19:45):
Yeah, So what in a situation like that? Because I
would feel so bad if I was like one of
the five people there, and I'm like, damn, why didn't
know about You think it's like a promotion thing, Like
what is Yeah?
Speaker 2 (19:55):
I think I mean for this weekend.
Speaker 4 (19:56):
I think it was like a promotion thing where like
it was a new club and they don't. They didn't
get the word out like good enough, and like, I
don't have a following in Kansas, I need help to
like get.
Speaker 2 (20:05):
It out to the people.
Speaker 4 (20:05):
And yeah, yeah, so it was so I think it
was that, but the show was actually pretty good, Like
and I was telling them, I'm like, performing for five
people is so much harder than performing for five thousand.
Five thousand is so easy. But five people, You're like, damn,
I gotta When they don't laugh, you can see.
Speaker 2 (20:22):
It when they go to the back. Yeah, but they
could be it the fun, they could be fun. They
were fun.
Speaker 3 (20:31):
Yeah, I did recently when I had it was Indiana
and it was like eight people, but they were anime nerds,
and I'm a huge anime nerd. I don't even talk
about anime on stage because it's not relatable, but in
front of them, I'm like, oh, I did an hour
on anime and it Yeah, it was the funnest show
because everyone knew all the jokes and everybody I was
talking about, So it was ended up.
Speaker 2 (20:51):
Being a great show.
Speaker 3 (20:52):
And then they came back to see me the next
night and that night was sold out, and then they
got to see my actual hour right, which is nothing.
Speaker 2 (20:59):
So it was fun.
Speaker 4 (20:59):
Yeah, I know that she's right. You gotta you gotta
stay humble. Sometimes you hot, and then are.
Speaker 2 (21:04):
The times you not.
Speaker 1 (21:05):
Yeah, you have a great night.
Speaker 3 (21:06):
And that's crazy that that's bad promotion on the club.
Speaker 4 (21:10):
If she was an Austin I was probably Cap City.
Speaker 2 (21:13):
Oh yeah, maybe it was well.
Speaker 1 (21:14):
I guess the first show probably was good and then
maybe the second one only. But she said she still
had a good time. She said she was like, thank
you to both of you all for coming here tonight.
Speaker 6 (21:23):
She opened up and said thirty five, thirty five not.
Speaker 5 (21:32):
The what was the venue capacity, probably two or three hundred, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (21:39):
Like three, but they probably see everyone up front. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (21:42):
Now listen, the Billboard put out this list, and I
know before we started we were talking about it. The
number one stand up of the twenty first century is
Dave Chappelle.
Speaker 2 (21:53):
Yeah, that's fair.
Speaker 1 (21:54):
I think that's fair. And number two was Chris Rock.
Number three was Louis c. K. That's interesting he had
a comeback because we remember he was had to go away for.
Speaker 3 (22:03):
No I think Lucy is very very funny. I think
that's interesting for him to be three since he hasn't been.
Speaker 1 (22:08):
I'm saying he had because that was.
Speaker 2 (22:11):
Like a year ago. Okay, there's comedy album.
Speaker 1 (22:15):
Number four was donm lany, Number five was Billboard. Number
six was Jerry Seinfeld. Oh okay, Seven Kevin Yeah yeah.
Eight Norm McDonald go to It gets to a woman.
Let's see number nine. Okay, Maria Bamford. What about Eddie
Murphy mcfill. Wander Sykes made the list. Yeah, he hasn't
(22:35):
doing stand up.
Speaker 2 (22:36):
Yeah, he hasn't done stand up since.
Speaker 1 (22:38):
But I agreed with Dave Chappelle at number one.
Speaker 2 (22:40):
Yes.
Speaker 1 (22:41):
One thing I like is that he does talk about like,
you know, current events and topics, and he could get
up there and not even tell a joke and it's
still like very Yeah.
Speaker 2 (22:51):
No, for sure, I think Kep should have been higher.
Speaker 1 (22:53):
What was what I say he was number seven.
Speaker 2 (22:55):
I think would have been higher over the twenty first century.
I mean he had to came lock for like ten years.
Speaker 3 (23:00):
Yeah, he had a I mean even if you don't
like his new specials, his O G specials sist force
four classic classics, so he.
Speaker 2 (23:08):
Should have been higher up. Also, I think Cats should
have been higher up.
Speaker 1 (23:11):
He was there?
Speaker 2 (23:13):
What was Cats? Because Cats first four specials or iconic. Yeah,
I mean whether you like stuff or not.
Speaker 1 (23:19):
Which Cat Williams is not even on this top twenty
five list.
Speaker 2 (23:23):
Really going to be mad?
Speaker 1 (23:24):
That's crazy, that's crazy. Here should be Noah's on here,
but I didn't even realize that he's not on there.
That somebody Ali Wong is on here, Sarah Silverman.
Speaker 2 (23:37):
All the people your name it are good.
Speaker 1 (23:38):
But Cat, Now I want to ask you, guys, who
are some people that you would say that a list
like this, you know, maybe some people that we should
all be paying attention to.
Speaker 2 (23:48):
Motherfuckering is one of the people asked.
Speaker 3 (23:52):
Yama is one of the funniest comics in the city,
male or female.
Speaker 2 (23:56):
Sweet kind. I love that. I'm one of the meanest
people I ever met, and I love him. She's definitely
gonna be mean. She's one of them every time. But
everybody else is like, I don't know how she's nice
to you.
Speaker 1 (24:15):
I love her.
Speaker 2 (24:16):
She's to me too. He's very nice to be cute.
Speaker 9 (24:19):
But now rawlings yes, yeah, fucking miss pat Yes is
a fucking.
Speaker 1 (24:32):
So.
Speaker 4 (24:33):
I think it sucks when we make lists because then
you always feel like you're leaving people.
Speaker 1 (24:36):
Out, Like that's why I want to recognize some people,
and I know we're all going to leave some people
that said this.
Speaker 3 (24:41):
Person God forgot. The special coming out Christmas right. I
don't know the exact release day, but it's coming out soon.
Speaker 2 (24:48):
I think it might be Christmas.
Speaker 1 (24:49):
Listen. I'm so happy to finally doing that.
Speaker 4 (24:52):
Nobody there's nobody in comedy that's better than God, Like
there's only equals, you can only be just his.
Speaker 2 (25:01):
The first time I worked with him was years years ago.
He did six different hours.
Speaker 1 (25:06):
Watch shows together, and he don't need to seem like he.
Speaker 2 (25:09):
Did one joke in six shows.
Speaker 4 (25:11):
You watch Godfrey, it makes you like question like the
business and what's real?
Speaker 2 (25:16):
Like you're like, this is the best he never got
and was crazy.
Speaker 1 (25:20):
My mom over Thanksgiving was like showing me some godfree clips.
She didn't even realize that he had like guest hosted
on my show and that we're friends. And I was like, Mom,
that's God for you. Are you showing me because that's
God for you? She was like, oh, you know him.
He was my first guest hustband I started.
Speaker 2 (25:37):
Godfrey is one of the people that you'll see on stage.
Speaker 4 (25:39):
He'll he'll do, he'll spend half of the time, like
yelling at the audience to try to get them mad
at him and then flip him like he's been doing
it so long. He only has fun if they hate
him and.
Speaker 1 (25:49):
Then and you know what else I love too is
that he can go on on social media and talk
about everything that's happening, like like in real time, and.
Speaker 2 (25:59):
He's he's doing a lot of those videos. Now.
Speaker 3 (26:01):
That's why he has like two million, a million his
account got taken away, taken away.
Speaker 2 (26:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (26:07):
I love his impressions too. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (26:09):
Yeah, that's why I'm like, this is writing, He's He's complete. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (26:15):
Yeah, That's why I wanted to talk about that list
because I was thinking about all these people that I'm like, damn,
this person ain't getting on it.
Speaker 2 (26:20):
I think we should put Cory up there. That's your boy, listen.
Speaker 4 (26:27):
Cory is a funny stand Corey is a funny stand Yeah,
he's a funny.
Speaker 3 (26:30):
He's just a very bitter person, but he is a
stand up stand up wise grazy. But the thing about
it is no one ever talks about Corey as a
stand up. They always talk about him with controversy. Every
time you think about.
Speaker 2 (26:42):
Corey, it's him calling another nigga gay like every time.
Speaker 1 (26:45):
He never did that to you.
Speaker 2 (26:46):
Well, I know because every time you look at it.
Speaker 3 (26:54):
Every nigga he called every nigga on God's podcast game
except for.
Speaker 2 (26:57):
The one nigga who's getting.
Speaker 1 (26:59):
You street. Yeah, ro Wood Jr.
Speaker 2 (27:02):
Roy Wood.
Speaker 1 (27:05):
He is so funny, so good. Yeah, it's just so
many people I'm thinking about. I enjoyed Moamer Special. He
just did.
Speaker 3 (27:14):
I think one of the people I really I've only
I've only seen them live once and it was very briefly,
but I've always thought they were funny.
Speaker 2 (27:20):
Fucking Leslie Jones is so funny.
Speaker 1 (27:21):
I've never seen her live in her lives, I see
her live once and wander Sex made the list. I
want to point that out. He's amazing. She wanted, all right,
so listen back to back to you. He's like, damn
it now, So talk to me about like this journey
for you. I wonder what were you like as a kid,
(27:43):
because you know, people always talk about how they got
into comedy and how they realized they were funny. You're
the youngest of is it a five? You're the youngest
of five, so I have to assume that you have
to really like defend yourself or make jokes a lot.
Like what was that?
Speaker 2 (27:56):
Like I was with my family. I was kind of
quiet at home as the youngest five, I was quiet.
I was funny in school though. Like in school, I
was like, it is it five boys? No? Three girls?
Two boys? Two? Okay?
Speaker 4 (28:07):
Me and my brother and three and three sisters.
Speaker 2 (28:09):
Who's gay? Who's gay?
Speaker 8 (28:11):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (28:21):
When you were later I got I got two brothers
and two sisters and it's me.
Speaker 1 (28:27):
On yeah, you gotta put it in the family text,
like one of us.
Speaker 2 (28:41):
Who is remember ship? So no, I was I was.
I was kind of quiet at home, but I was
funny like in school.
Speaker 4 (28:51):
Like so when I when I told my family that
I was doing stand up, some of them didn't even
like really they was like stand up. They didn't seem
they didn't like I was funny with them. I didn't
talk a lot, kind of like a quiet person. But
then they went to see me and they was like oh,
Like then they became like fans.
Speaker 1 (29:07):
How long until you let them know to come see you?
Because you know, sometimes you want to make sure.
Speaker 4 (29:11):
Yeah, my mom and dad the first time they ever
saw me do stand up comedy was when I did
the Tonight Show for the first time.
Speaker 2 (29:19):
That was seven years and yeah, wow crazy And that
was the only time my mom ever saw me do comedy.
Speaker 1 (29:23):
Did you ask them? Is that or they always wanted
to know?
Speaker 2 (29:26):
I like, I'm I'm my parents.
Speaker 4 (29:28):
They're Dominicans, so like immigrant parents, they don't really get
impressed easily.
Speaker 2 (29:32):
So I wasn't going to bring them to like a.
Speaker 4 (29:33):
Normal show comedy, right. I brought them to a thing,
but I was like, there's no way.
Speaker 2 (29:39):
I look at the lights. They sent a call to
pick us up, like you ever sent the car. So
they was like all right.
Speaker 4 (29:45):
And the other guests were Celine Dion wow yeah, which
my dad dad was like, oh ship, Sele Dion and
Alex Rodriga, So it was it was dope.
Speaker 1 (29:55):
My gosh. They were like, damn my son is Yeah.
What does the rest of your siblings do?
Speaker 4 (30:02):
My my brother, my brother works construction, and my two
I have two sisters that work in the hospitals, and
my other sister is a teacher.
Speaker 1 (30:09):
Okay, all right, yeah, so they all got professed. That's
so that's so interesting just to see how like everybody
turns out in the family.
Speaker 2 (30:15):
Yeah yeah, yeah.
Speaker 4 (30:17):
But then after I like after I got older, then
I started being more of like the funny of the
funny guy, Like I started saying more.
Speaker 3 (30:22):
Was another reason why you picked the Tonight Show because
it was a clean set and you wanted to be
like clean in front of your parents?
Speaker 2 (30:29):
Is that was that I'm fairly clean to be honest, bro,
it's weird.
Speaker 4 (30:33):
Like that was in two thousand and twenty nineteen, Yeah,
right before COVID. Yeah, something around that time told me, like,
get your parents to see you do stand up because
you don't know how long they're gonna be around.
Speaker 3 (30:46):
That's my biggest that's my biggest regretting life. Yeah, Like
my mom didn'tet.
Speaker 2 (30:49):
For some reason.
Speaker 4 (30:50):
I just had that, Like I just had that in
the back of my head. It's like, let them see
you because you don't know how long they're gonna be around.
And then and then I got the Tonight Show. I
was like perfect. And then they came and saw my mom.
She past two years after that.
Speaker 1 (31:01):
Yeah, so proud of her sons.
Speaker 2 (31:03):
Yeah she was. Yeah, she was always. She was always
that she got to see. I always tell comics.
Speaker 3 (31:08):
I always tell comics that, like comics who've been doing
hairing for a while, and the parents haven't seen them.
I wass make a point because that's still my biggest
regret in life is my mom didn't get to see
what your stand up. But I always tell people, I'm like,
that's let them. It don't matter if you're dirty or whatever.
You think they're not gonna like it. There, your parents
are going to like it. You have them come to
see my mom.
Speaker 4 (31:24):
She didn't even speak English, so she didn't even really
understand the jokes, understand the jokes, but she saw everybody.
Speaker 1 (31:33):
That's like, I went to go see Ida in Puerto
Rico specially, but everybody before her was doing their stuff
in Spanish.
Speaker 8 (31:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (31:40):
I didn't know what the was going on, but you
small energy with other people would laugh. I was like,
you know, I love that.
Speaker 3 (31:48):
What made you think of your set? Because the set
was amazing. I went to the taping which one I
went to the I think I went to the most
recent one. Oh you did okay, yeah you did that one. Yeah,
she did to the most recent one. The set was amazing, Like,
what made you think of that? The set design?
Speaker 2 (32:04):
Oh well, that's why that's why I had Ida. I
worked again for the second one.
Speaker 4 (32:10):
Yeah, because on the first one, like it's so first
of all, when you do a special, it's no, it's
no one person. You got to get a team around that,
because you can't do the stuff that you need done.
You just have the idea. And on the first one, Ida,
like when I would give an idea to Ida, she
was so good at being like, Okay, we can get
this done or no, that's not going to work. And
the stuff that we could get done, she was like
(32:30):
staying firm on it, Like even though HBO might be like,
we don't got the budget for that, She'll be like, no,
we need this, we gotta do this. So when I
worked with her on the second one, I was like, yeah,
there's no brain. It's so easy to work with her.
And I wanted like the first one was for HBO
and it was like in a theater and it was
more fancy, And for the second one, I wanted.
Speaker 2 (32:45):
More of a rock and roll theme.
Speaker 4 (32:47):
So we got like a we rented like a rock
club and we put up fake rock posters.
Speaker 2 (32:51):
Yeah yeah.
Speaker 4 (32:57):
So I just told Ida like what the division was,
and she with the production teams, they just brought it
to life.
Speaker 1 (33:02):
And it's great to have a production team and somebody
who's really advocating for you all during that time, like
you said, because it's even like the little things and
making sure your guests are good and taking care of
so everybody's not texting you.
Speaker 2 (33:14):
Like right right now?
Speaker 1 (33:15):
How did they put me in the back?
Speaker 2 (33:16):
You know, she's great.
Speaker 4 (33:17):
She has no problem cursing a man out. I love
that because I'm like, they'll call me, I'm like, you
gotta talk to Ada and she would hang out.
Speaker 1 (33:26):
But what's good is because even for her doing her
own special, she thought about everything that she wished she
would have had right, and then she was able to
be like, Okay, we need to make sure like she
knows what she wishes she or what she needed from
the first time she did hers right.
Speaker 2 (33:39):
So I think it's a no brainer to have a
comedian direct.
Speaker 3 (33:42):
Well, yeah, because they have they know what it's especially
a comedian who's done them before.
Speaker 2 (33:46):
Yeah, they know what it's.
Speaker 3 (33:47):
Supposed to be, like, what it's supposed to feel, like,
what the ambiance is supposed to be.
Speaker 4 (33:50):
Even even on filming, like the production they was like, oh,
we're going to keep all these lights on and it
was like, no, we're not.
Speaker 2 (33:54):
Yeah, we're going to turn these lights off when.
Speaker 1 (33:56):
There's some things that got edited out.
Speaker 2 (33:59):
No, that's yeah, everything was kept.
Speaker 4 (34:01):
Yeah, everything started to finish. I don't I try not to.
Speaker 1 (34:05):
And what was the process like for you even getting
ready to put together that hour special?
Speaker 4 (34:10):
Well that was like after I did the HBO one,
like the HBO one that was in twenty twenty two,
that plucked me out of obscurity, Like they took they
took a chance on me. They took a chance on
me when like nobody, I didn't have the followers, I
didn't have nothing. So after that one, like I started
going on the road and I started selling more and
more people wanted to come out. So I was like,
all right, I gotta make sure for the next one,
I take it even to another level. And then you
(34:31):
just start with one joke and then it just starts developing,
like like at first, I was like, oh, I kind
of spoke about dating on the first one. I want
to talk about something else for the second one. But
then I don't know, like I find dating stuff funny.
Speaker 1 (34:41):
Dating stuff is always yeah, it's un relatable. Yeah, just
even talking to Jasmine and Gigi and I came, I
don't know if I would call it. I came just
dating but talking.
Speaker 2 (34:51):
Every episode King.
Speaker 1 (34:53):
Yeah, I'm not slut shaming. I just want you to.
Speaker 2 (34:59):
I watched the episode the Therapist. He was like, you
fucked too much. Basically, I was like, somebody had to
tell people. Listen, you're not wrong.
Speaker 3 (35:09):
I haven't found It was like, listen, it's something I
haven't found anyone for a little likely.
Speaker 2 (35:15):
Yeah, I think you're a man not a lot about it.
Speaker 1 (35:18):
You were like what, Yeah, he was like, you're not wrong,
but you know what it is. It's because he has
these walls up because he really doesn't want to get
his feelings hurt.
Speaker 2 (35:26):
That's true.
Speaker 1 (35:27):
Yeah, and you've never had a boyfriend. How do we
get back to you in this?
Speaker 2 (35:30):
But correct, no, I haven't.
Speaker 1 (35:32):
It's because he doesn't want to commit like that, because
he don't want to get hurt. But you were, because
you know, part of the fund of life is getting
hurt and having more. I think, yeah, it is part
of living. It does make things like who in here?
Hasn't you know when you're.
Speaker 2 (35:48):
Going through it though you don't feel you feel like
you're done?
Speaker 1 (35:52):
Yeah? Has that happened? Have you ever felt like you
were done? You seem I don't know if this you
seem like a sensitive guy.
Speaker 2 (35:58):
I could be sensitive because my watery I think temper.
Speaker 4 (36:05):
I've had it for temple, you know, because sometimes it'll
break up, like the first month you think like oh,
but then like thirty days past and you're like, oh,
I think I'm over it, Like I think I'm over it.
So I've had it like I've had it like that,
never like while I was deeply heartbroken.
Speaker 2 (36:16):
But I can see how like it can happen.
Speaker 1 (36:18):
Yeah, thirty days, it's all it takes, and then you're good.
Speaker 2 (36:20):
That's all it took that. Yeah, past, how long have
you been single? Now?
Speaker 1 (36:25):
He's not. I said, this is an ad he's single adjacent.
It's a character.
Speaker 2 (36:29):
I'm not I'll say this.
Speaker 4 (36:30):
I'm gonna be I'm I'm gonna be like I'm gonna
be like Ja Cole, I'm just gonna pull up married.
Speaker 2 (36:34):
That's it. Yeah? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (36:39):
Is he married? Yes?
Speaker 4 (36:40):
Isn't the right way to go to I feel like
women all the time. I hear women say that like, oh,
I'm not posting them. I'm not posting nothing until I
get it round.
Speaker 1 (36:47):
Taylor Ricks got married. People.
Speaker 4 (36:48):
Yeah, when Taylor did, everyone was like she just pulled
up married one day.
Speaker 1 (36:53):
Yeah, but also like you tell your business too.
Speaker 2 (36:55):
Yeah post you'll post your partner?
Speaker 1 (36:57):
No, no, I would not, well she would, but she'll
put it.
Speaker 4 (37:00):
Like yeah yeah wow about post?
Speaker 2 (37:04):
Yeah yeah, I love a girl. But then you got
a delete? Is there anything worse than this ship don't
work out and you on Instagram?
Speaker 1 (37:11):
But the other good thing to do is to lead
a whole bunch of stuff. So we just look at
you're cleaning your page.
Speaker 2 (37:15):
I just don't know what's happening.
Speaker 6 (37:17):
I feel like it's nothing wrong with polsing your person,
and if it doesn't work out, that's life.
Speaker 3 (37:21):
I don't think you need to delete them unless they
did something egregious to you.
Speaker 1 (37:24):
But somebody else they had these old pictures.
Speaker 4 (37:26):
Yeah, yeah, you got to delete them. You got to
make room for the I guess I disagree.
Speaker 6 (37:31):
And how long did it take before you How long
did it take before you posted your man?
Speaker 1 (37:36):
I had we were cool first, so I already had
posts with him, gotcha? So it wasn't like a reveal. Yeah,
there was no Grammarville. And I never was like this
is my man. It's just in the you know, I've
never made like an announcement. No, no, you haven't.
Speaker 4 (37:49):
I feel like that brings problem with the relationship though,
because people would be like people fo, girls will follow him,
God will follow You have.
Speaker 1 (37:55):
What type of girl problems have you had in the past?
Like have you ever had somebody like hit up another
woman that you're dating and be like, oh, he's talking about.
Speaker 2 (38:06):
Noah. I don't think. I'm not not messing in that way.
Speaker 4 (38:08):
I'm not messing because I feel like I've been on
dates and like at the first sign of a girl
like being nuts, I'm like, I'm out.
Speaker 2 (38:15):
What your what's your? What's your? What's your? Go to
the flags that are just like this is this is it?
Speaker 4 (38:19):
Like one time I was on the day with a
girl and my phone like was going off, so I
pulled it out to like answer it was like text
message is my family group chat?
Speaker 2 (38:27):
It was like text messages a million? Yeah. Yeah. I
put into silence it and the girl was like, oh,
who's texting us?
Speaker 1 (38:34):
And I was like, all right, this is a first day.
Speaker 2 (38:38):
This is not yeah did I get the check?
Speaker 1 (38:41):
This is that's a siren us? Yeah. Would even say
that time it was off the comedians is not that.
Speaker 6 (38:56):
Ladies alf some seriousness a joke, so she might have
kind of wasn't joking if she.
Speaker 4 (39:01):
Was joking about that on the first day two months in,
I give my password crazy.
Speaker 1 (39:05):
I still think that's funny. You know. It wasn't no harm,
no foul, Like, yeah, anybody, No.
Speaker 2 (39:14):
I don't like the ghost people.
Speaker 1 (39:15):
Okay, So would you be straightforward?
Speaker 2 (39:17):
Like? No, I won't be straightforward, but I won't ghost.
Speaker 1 (39:22):
Too.
Speaker 2 (39:23):
Nigga, what you do, I'll make you ghost me.
Speaker 1 (39:27):
I'll be set an asshole.
Speaker 2 (39:28):
I don't. It's too busy, No, to be honest.
Speaker 4 (39:30):
Yeah, I'll just be. I'll just be busy. I'll just
be busy and it'll fizzle out in that way.
Speaker 1 (39:34):
That's what you got to do. It's a slow back.
Speaker 2 (39:36):
But I'll never like you hit me up. I'll reply
like I'm never It's never like you know, I'll just
be I'm busy.
Speaker 1 (39:40):
Have you ever had somebody pop up at you your
house un announced?
Speaker 8 (39:44):
Nah? I don't.
Speaker 2 (39:45):
I don't have these I don't have.
Speaker 1 (39:46):
Have you ever cheated? Are you a cheater?
Speaker 4 (39:48):
Like?
Speaker 1 (39:48):
What we need some some that are bad.
Speaker 2 (39:50):
About you know, somethings are bad about me?
Speaker 1 (39:53):
You don't cheat?
Speaker 4 (39:54):
Well, I remember I was in the long distance relationship
a while ago. This is years ago, and and I
went to see her and then when I like we
were on the rocks. And then when I went to
see her, I was like, I'm like I had checked out,
Like like on my way to the airport, I'm like.
Speaker 2 (40:08):
I'm done. I'm checked out, Like get done, I'm never
coming back. We had we had just been fighting too
much and it was just it was like you don't
got to say city, but like how far? Like a
long fight. Yeah, it was in Canada. It was it
was a long flight. But in my head, I was like,
we're done.
Speaker 1 (40:24):
That's international.
Speaker 4 (40:25):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (40:25):
Yeah. I had to go through customs with that on
my head. I almost I almost arrested.
Speaker 1 (40:29):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (40:34):
So when I came back, did my mom? I was
singing I was single?
Speaker 1 (40:37):
Okay, so you were acting.
Speaker 2 (40:38):
Yeah, I work up for another two months.
Speaker 1 (40:41):
And so you were doing things in those two months.
Speaker 2 (40:43):
Yeah, I was single. Yeah, but she didn't know, No,
she didn't know.
Speaker 1 (40:46):
Did you have she was looking for did you have
backup people already? Like you know, guys always have, like
some people they could call.
Speaker 2 (40:54):
Only girls have that too, definitely.
Speaker 1 (40:56):
Yeah, I'm just asking.
Speaker 2 (40:59):
Did you have a rock? As they say, I had
a yeah, I guess I had a little.
Speaker 1 (41:05):
Emergency, A little yeah, a little little yeah.
Speaker 2 (41:08):
That was a while. That was that was before though.
Speaker 1 (41:10):
That's a long time ago. Said things are different now
for whoever's watching pre COVID don't care.
Speaker 2 (41:19):
So girls really always got a roster.
Speaker 1 (41:21):
I don't say I wouldn't say a master. I think
that it's very easy for a woman if she to
be able to like hit somebody up if they felt
like it. Oh yeah, yeah, so you don't even have
to They always waiting, and we could also just feel
like I'm just gonna go outside.
Speaker 2 (41:35):
You know what I mean, Like, yeah, Dick is the
easiest thing to get.
Speaker 1 (41:38):
Yeah, we know, you know, I know.
Speaker 3 (41:39):
I'm just universally though not just me, just universally, Dick
is not hard to get.
Speaker 1 (41:45):
Guys probably think that way about China.
Speaker 2 (41:47):
Yeah, it depends on the guys.
Speaker 1 (41:48):
It's probably a little more work for you.
Speaker 2 (41:50):
I don't think guys think vagina is easy to get.
Speaker 1 (41:52):
Yes, they do.
Speaker 2 (41:53):
I think some guys do, yeh, some guys. Some guys.
I don't think guys think that.
Speaker 4 (41:57):
It's not all the same with guys, like women have
I feel like they have a standard, like for most women,
it's very easy to get for most women, but not
for most men.
Speaker 2 (42:05):
Like that's a very specific.
Speaker 3 (42:06):
There's a lot of men you can't to say that,
which is why they places.
Speaker 1 (42:15):
Oh my god, when streaming kills people, not.
Speaker 2 (42:20):
The extreme, just financial someone's new lexus. I feel like
when you want, when you do it, like when you're
on TV, it helps.
Speaker 1 (42:25):
Do you think women? Do you think that women think
you're rich? Like already? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (42:30):
Yo.
Speaker 4 (42:30):
When I used to date, like before, like before DY
didn't before I did anything, I was like the artist,
like the starving artist that girls wanted.
Speaker 2 (42:37):
Like to help.
Speaker 4 (42:39):
And then after like you do a couple of things
and they're like if you want to if you want
to see me, you got to take me out, and yeah, yeah,
I think that's I use the same girls home in
an uber pool like after like nervous, I would afford
a gentleman.
Speaker 1 (42:57):
Yeah, gentleman even still exist.
Speaker 2 (43:00):
Yeah, we're in a different You don't get that on
your suggested you, but.
Speaker 1 (43:09):
You send them in a courier and then you get
in the trunk.
Speaker 2 (43:11):
I remember one time, this is my twenties, all old story.
Speaker 4 (43:14):
In my twenties, I remember one time, this girl like
she she went home in the uber pool and she
was not She was like from Europe, so she didn't
know what the uber pool was.
Speaker 2 (43:22):
So in the middle of it.
Speaker 4 (43:24):
She's like, she texted me a couple of times and
I didn't pick up, and she calls me and I
picked up and she's like, there's a strange man getting
in my car.
Speaker 2 (43:30):
Why is it like? And I'm like, oh, nah, you're good,
Like you're good, You're gonna make a stop and standing
out way out.
Speaker 1 (43:43):
And the fact that you put her in the uber
pool and that wasn't answering her text messages. It's also
I was.
Speaker 2 (43:47):
Getting a haircut. I thought she was saying your phone.
I thought she was said, some hold, the uber pool
is wild.
Speaker 1 (43:56):
I've never even been in again.
Speaker 2 (43:59):
Yeah, yeah, that's the thing too. I kind of I
kind of try to date in my tax bracket.
Speaker 4 (44:04):
Yeah I'm not time guys getting mad at women for it,
but they're like, you date not your tax bracket.
Speaker 2 (44:08):
Yeah, you gotta date.
Speaker 6 (44:10):
Men should date in their tax bracket, and then they
wouldn't be so angry.
Speaker 1 (44:13):
In other people's and women's comments like okay.
Speaker 4 (44:15):
Plus like a low tax bracket dating is very nice,
like that you go to very very impressed Friday Saturday. Yeah,
you take him to a carnival, creative dated poor.
Speaker 1 (44:29):
It means he's poor. Yeah, because the man with money
is so lazy, he'll take you. Yeah, okay, this is
nice steakhouse.
Speaker 3 (44:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (44:38):
If you on a date with a guy and it's
too romantic, you're like, what's going on?
Speaker 2 (44:42):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (44:42):
So if you going to date with a guy you
go to the museum, he's probably struggling.
Speaker 3 (44:45):
Especially if you go on a Tuesday, because that's when
niggas go for free them him.
Speaker 2 (44:49):
Yeah, he got a book of things. If you had money,
he would just send a car to pick you up and.
Speaker 1 (44:56):
Pretty much little effort.
Speaker 2 (44:58):
People can have fun too. I with that.
Speaker 1 (45:01):
Have you ever been on a date with somebody and
she was ordering so much and you were like, damn,
I gotta pay for all.
Speaker 2 (45:05):
No, that's never happened. The type of restaurant I'm gonna
take you to. I can't afford everything.
Speaker 1 (45:10):
You want to take a restaurant in your tax bracket, right,
I'm not. Yeah, you know they're opening sizzlers back up.
Speaker 2 (45:15):
Thank god, that's good, I'm back. Yeah, you get whatever
you want.
Speaker 3 (45:26):
It's two for twenty four reason I got forty dollars,
it'll be good for four people.
Speaker 1 (45:30):
But I will say thoughtful dates are always the best.
It's always like those things that you didn't anticipate, like, oh,
we just went for a walk, we did this, we
talked all night.
Speaker 2 (45:38):
That's a good, that's a good. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (45:40):
I feel like I'm this is the only thing I
have that I'm super secure about. I think if you
give me the opportunity to speak to you, like one
on one, I think, like with most women, like single women,
I have a fair shot if you allow me to
speak to you, you have good conversation. Yeah, Like I like,
I know like how to have a conversation.
Speaker 2 (45:58):
Okay, that's not so because of what I do. Yeah,
this is what I do.
Speaker 4 (46:02):
So I've had like I've been on dates before where
it started off terrible, like like one day I remember
it was it started off so bad, like because I
was late to pick her up and she was not
having that she was not having but I would be
late at the time. I told her, like the day
before I might be late because I was coming from work.
I had a day job at the time, and she
was so mad when I picked me like, she got
(46:23):
in my car.
Speaker 2 (46:23):
Was the first time we met.
Speaker 4 (46:24):
In person online at that time, I had a Nissan,
a Nissan Maximum.
Speaker 1 (46:29):
Okay, that's nice.
Speaker 3 (46:30):
It wasn't.
Speaker 2 (46:31):
It wasn't. I got a little TVA. So she got
in the car. She was mad. She was so bad.
Speaker 4 (46:42):
She was like like, you don't know who I am,
Like you respect my time, and I'm laughing. I'm thinking
she's like laughing because she was so nice up into that,
and she was like a funny and funny like you
got me here waiting like I'm crazy, no, man, make
me wait?
Speaker 1 (46:56):
Oh wow.
Speaker 4 (46:57):
And then I was like, I was like, you could
get out, like we don't have to do this, Like
you can just get out. No, Like that was like
I could drop you. I don't want you to feel
like it's pressure for me to do this day. I
was like, if you're not, if you're not feeling it,
like I could let you out.
Speaker 2 (47:09):
I don't want it to be weird.
Speaker 4 (47:11):
And she was like I don't eve gonna say, but
she was like whatever. She was like whatever, just drive
and don't rate me.
Speaker 2 (47:17):
That's what she said. And I was like, yeah, I
was like in my head, I'm like I'm like twenty six. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (47:22):
In my head, I'm like, this is crazy, but she's
kind of bad, so I'm like, yo, yeah, I'm like.
Speaker 2 (47:26):
Yo, this is crazy. But yeah.
Speaker 4 (47:29):
So then we go to a restaurant and she's mad,
Like we sit down, she's mad, she's giving everyone attitude.
But in my head, I'm like, all, try to flip her,
like try to like really charm her back on. Yeah,
like I'm doing.
Speaker 2 (47:45):
I'm telling stories of famous people I never met. I'm
like I'm doing all the things. But eventually I got
up like back and we ended up that night.
Speaker 4 (47:55):
I remember I had picked up from a job at
eight pm and I dropped her back home at six.
Speaker 2 (48:00):
In the morning.
Speaker 4 (48:01):
And not from like we did, not like we had
such or anything, just from like we went to different
spots like she wanted to keep keep yeah, and then
when we.
Speaker 2 (48:09):
Got out the house are like four, we spoke for
like two hours. We did for like three months.
Speaker 1 (48:14):
Okay, that's cute. We like that you.
Speaker 2 (48:17):
Flipped her, you did, that's yeah.
Speaker 1 (48:20):
Have you ever had a date like that? I went
out and h have you been flipped?
Speaker 5 (48:26):
G Have I I would I would think if I
did get flipped with some money involved.
Speaker 2 (48:34):
Yeah, you seem you seem very hard to fill a conversation.
Speaker 1 (48:37):
Yeah, like there was a there was a there was
an exchange of some sort of sure flipped the opposite way.
Speaker 2 (48:46):
Got turned off. Yes, that's very easy.
Speaker 1 (48:48):
That more than the other way.
Speaker 2 (48:53):
Yeah that's easy. Yeah, God yeah, dumb ship. They so
many guys, I feel like they had it and.
Speaker 3 (48:58):
Then they oh yeah guy.
Speaker 2 (49:03):
Guys, guys that talked away out of a lot of left.
Speaker 3 (49:12):
What do you what do you ladies think about? Because
I know there recently went viral. There was this lady
who went to a restaurant with a guy and she
ordered like an up noxious amount of food, like sick
like for her friends everything, And they think the bill
was like four hundreds like something crazy.
Speaker 1 (49:28):
That's not that's not that's not for two people.
Speaker 2 (49:31):
Yeah, that's not that. Maybe maybe maybe it was maybe
maybe it was like eleven hundred. It was a lot.
Speaker 3 (49:36):
And the guy he left, he left a hundred because
he only got a drink and she ordered like a
bunch and then left. Why do you guys feel about
women who do I'm not saying women do that, but
how you feeling about women who do do that? Do
you think that's doing too much. You think it's justified.
Do you think it's what do you think?
Speaker 1 (49:52):
I'm always think that's doing too much.
Speaker 2 (49:54):
But you know I am.
Speaker 1 (49:55):
I'm a cheap date. I chicken.
Speaker 2 (50:00):
This is this is what I'm trying to spread. This outlook,
this outlook. I'm trying to normalize this.
Speaker 1 (50:05):
Yeah, I don't. I don't think even because I spend
a lot of money when I go out to eat too,
and I treat people all the time.
Speaker 2 (50:12):
She sure does.
Speaker 1 (50:13):
Yeah, but I also went and do something out of
the ordinary that I wouldn't do if I was by myself.
So like, if I'm by myself about to eat, I'm
not gonna just because I keep is paying. Yeah, you know,
be like, well, let me order you know, nineteen forty
two shots and do Like I'm not doing that because
I wouldn't do that myself.
Speaker 2 (50:31):
I do this on day to prevent us.
Speaker 1 (50:33):
You your own liquor.
Speaker 2 (50:36):
In a Tampa on a tamp on flash. Yeah, like,
don't get the nineteen forty two I got right.
Speaker 4 (50:44):
No, if it's a restaurant that like I know, like
because I have you know, everybody has their restaurant. Yeah,
on the day I ordered like for I order mad stuff,
so it looked like it's a big feast.
Speaker 6 (50:53):
But it's like, yeah, Barcelona, what I would order if
I wanna pay, if I are things that I would
pay for on my own.
Speaker 1 (51:01):
Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Yeah, I'm gonna do it
for myself. What about I'm the same way.
Speaker 2 (51:06):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (51:07):
I eat bird seeds anyway, So I'm not even ordering
a bunch of stuff because i know I'm not gonna
eat it.
Speaker 1 (51:11):
I eat very small portions.
Speaker 2 (51:12):
But but it's the alcohol that's what.
Speaker 1 (51:15):
That's what clus money. But I know, I mean, I
would have like two drinks at dinner. I'm having to drinks.
Speaker 5 (51:19):
Yeah, I'm gonna do two drinks unless they like shots.
And I'm like, okay.
Speaker 4 (51:23):
One time I went on a day with this girl
and she that we got like drinks. We went to
like a lounge after and she passed.
Speaker 1 (51:28):
Out and drinks that she had she drank before, y'all.
Speaker 4 (51:32):
We had, we both drink the same we had like
I would say, like five or six. I had to
carry out the club and I didn't know where she
lives and you couldn't leave her.
Speaker 1 (51:45):
And then it's also nerve wracking because you don't want
her to wake up and be like, what did you
do to me?
Speaker 2 (51:48):
Right right?
Speaker 4 (51:49):
And then I'm like I had to walk past cops
like with her on me to get to my car,
and and then I didn't know.
Speaker 2 (51:56):
I didn't know what to do.
Speaker 4 (51:57):
So I just like I took her to my house
and I let her like sleep in my bed and
I slept on the couch, and she like threw up
on my Oh no, so in the morning the next one,
she was just so embarrassed.
Speaker 1 (52:07):
I would be too, But there's a lot of drinks.
To me, five.
Speaker 2 (52:10):
Drinks that is a lot.
Speaker 1 (52:12):
I'll be okay.
Speaker 5 (52:14):
When you have something on your stomach to soak up
that taking water and you're absolutely.
Speaker 2 (52:20):
Did she did she fixed your Did she pay for
your sheets?
Speaker 1 (52:23):
No? I wouldn't charge you for she was apologetic.
Speaker 2 (52:26):
I wouldn't paid anyway.
Speaker 1 (52:29):
She's not going to pay. He's not going to take that. Yeah,
she's already embarrassed.
Speaker 2 (52:33):
No. I meant like later, not that day, but like
maybe a few weeks later. No, Yeah, I wouldn't do that.
I wouldn't. I feel like I.
Speaker 5 (52:39):
Came that's my I'm not saying. He's saying if he
threw up on somebody, he's going to offer the buy.
Speaker 3 (52:45):
That's what I'm saying I would have done. I'm actually
if she did the same thing. I'm not saying whether
or not you should take the money. I'm just saying, no.
Speaker 4 (52:49):
Sheeting off for she She was just like, did you afterwards?
Speaker 2 (52:53):
Sleep? Yeah? Yeah, I'm like, all right, clean up?
Speaker 1 (53:00):
Oh my god, speaking of cleaning up sheets, have you
ever had any accent incidents with what girls?
Speaker 2 (53:09):
I agree with Ian on that gross just so people's homophobic,
none of that. I agree with the gross. The girls
was very accurate as a gay man grossed as well.
Speaker 1 (53:20):
Yeah, of course, of course, like it's has they pay
for your sheets?
Speaker 2 (53:24):
No? Never on my sheets. No, I'm bringing holes to
my house.
Speaker 1 (53:28):
Okay, all right? Were you hooking up?
Speaker 2 (53:31):
I mean streets out?
Speaker 1 (53:32):
Okay, in the street literally? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (53:34):
Sometimes.
Speaker 4 (53:35):
But I remember one time we was talking. I don't know,
I mean, you told your stories. But I remember one
time we was at the Comedy Seller and you showed
up and you was like it was like seven pm,
and you was like, oh, I thought I had a
seven fifteen spot, but my spot is like like eight
forty five. And I was like oh damn, you got
it like an hour and a half to kill. And
he was like yeah, And I was like what are
you gonna do? And you was like I'm probably gonna
(53:55):
have sex. And I was like, well, who ah. You
was like I'm going to app and I was like,
oh my god, you could find somebody in close in
ninety minutes and you was like I could do it,
and was like I could do it in thirty Yeah.
Speaker 2 (54:05):
Yeah, yeah, some guys like dick. And then I did
my spot.
Speaker 1 (54:08):
Oh my god, you are me now that I know
you're not circumcised. Yeah, you can't just randomly have somebody
like your dick. Yes, I cant all day.
Speaker 2 (54:18):
I'm always clean. Well, before I go to a show,
I take a shower.
Speaker 1 (54:22):
How do you Okay, I say you're okay, say you're
the tops us. Okay, But if it's the last bit,
like don't you get your hair hold on? This is
a good question.
Speaker 6 (54:32):
Yeah, okay, these last minute hookups, don't you have to prepare.
Speaker 2 (54:36):
Last minute I'll just top yeah.
Speaker 1 (54:39):
But and they just have to be prepared when you
stay ready and gotta get ready. Yeah, and you could never.
Speaker 2 (54:44):
Eat no, no, no, there's like.
Speaker 10 (54:48):
Okay, no, I'm sorry, Im sorry, that's a clip you.
Speaker 3 (55:01):
Can never eat, you know, like, no, for people who
bottom all like, I'm very versatile, I've been topping more lately,
but I'm very versatile. But for people who are total
bottoms or they bottom all the time, those pills, those
fiber pills and stuff you can take and diet that
makes cleaning out significantly easier faster.
Speaker 2 (55:21):
Yeah. Yeah, like those pills you can take those diets
and so do.
Speaker 1 (55:24):
You enjoy more top or bottom?
Speaker 3 (55:26):
It depends on my Honestly, I don't know. It really
depends on the guy. For me, it varies from guy
to guy.

So like because like for something for me and and
then you see a digg it's too big, you don't
want to do it. It's the equivalent of that for women,
like vaginas to something or there's something that's immediately turned
off for.
Speaker 1 (56:58):
You because of course maybe too dry.
Speaker 2 (57:01):

that plus size women have shallow more shallow vaginas.
Speaker 1 (57:31):
Yeah you heard that, bigger girl like, yeah, that's yeah,
the opposite, right, but skinny girls be having I feel
like they got something to prove. I can do that,
I could do this. Have you ever walked away from
a situation and been like, well, I can't do this.
Speaker 2 (57:52):
No, I don't think so.
Speaker 4 (57:53):
I regretted it.
Speaker 1 (57:55):
Would you lie like it? Can you fake it?
Speaker 2 (57:59):
Are you thinking? I won't even think it? I'll just
I'll just stop.
Speaker 1 (58:03):
Say what, I'm good?
Speaker 2 (58:07):

like it.
Speaker 2 (58:15):
Just take me.
Speaker 1 (58:15):

would make you be like, I'm good?
Speaker 2 (58:19):
I don't know. For god, it's not the same thing,
because even loose you could still.
Speaker 1 (58:24):
Make it happen.
Speaker 2 (58:33):

Speaker 2 (01:04:20):
Now A role player seem cool. You gotta feel like
you got told me role play.
Speaker 1 (01:04:23):
Like ten years ago, Listen learned how to initiate sex
because that was something she never thinking was not initiating.
But how do you initiate now? Yeah, I just yet
that he's gonna press charges.
Speaker 2 (01:04:38):
I needed so you used to just sit there and not.

Speaker 2 (01:04:47):
But even that, that's like, that's that's good.
Speaker 1 (01:04:49):
But I wasn't like, let me see it, let me
tell you, let me let me look it. I feel
like that's how easy it is. It's so easy for
women to like can yeah, because women are getting me
can I sit on there? Know, but I'm saying even
with your significant other, like sometimes I feel like men
don't get that as much because you know, y'all want
to feel wanted to write like.
Speaker 2 (01:05:10):
That's a fact, m some guy.
Speaker 6 (01:05:11):
Yeah, men do complain about that with somebody before and
they were like, you never initiated.
Speaker 2 (01:05:18):

Speaker 4 (01:05:19):
I feel like, as a guy, I don't understand how
some guys just really be liking to hunt, like to
find a girl like but for me, like if you
don't like me, I feel like I like, yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:05:32):
I'm not trying to pursue you.
Speaker 4 (01:05:33):
I'll pursue you, but you gotta show me that you're
into it like you like some dudes, like the girl
will be like I hate you, nigga, get out of
my life, and they'll be like, I'm gonna get a
That is a lot.
Speaker 1 (01:05:46):
Of times persistent men and guys like a challenge and
then they get you and don't want you. Yeah, what
happened when he could? What the guy?
Speaker 8 (01:05:58):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (01:05:59):
I want to know who this guy is. I can't
wait to find it. Any You tell me no in
any capacity, and I'm good. Like that's what some girls
like block me. I'm like, you ain't have to block me.
Speaker 1 (01:06:07):
You've gotten blocked. Yeah, I think this is the whole story.
Speaker 2 (01:06:09):
Then no, I usually get blocked.
Speaker 4 (01:06:11):
Most of the times I got blocked is like a
girl who we might have dated or flirted with and
now she got a boyfriend.
Speaker 1 (01:06:16):
Okay, his insecurities, I'll make her block.
Speaker 2 (01:06:21):
I wouldn't make her block me. I'll be like, who
am I?
Speaker 1 (01:06:24):
My man has never made me block anyone. He's never
said anything like that, like he would have.
Speaker 2 (01:06:29):
To make you block. I mean you you're too popular,
Like no, but I.
Speaker 1 (01:06:32):
Mean not like people used to date or anything. Like.
He's never been like you have to block.
Speaker 2 (01:06:35):
I've never made somebody block anybody but you.
Speaker 1 (01:06:37):
But You've been blocked for that person all the time.
Speaker 2 (01:06:39):
And then they'll follow me again and I'm like, oh,
y'all broke up.
Speaker 1 (01:06:41):
Yeah, that's how you're special. Have you have you dated
somebody that made you? I know you have girl block
delete everything unfollowed it person saw a new page. Yeah,
what about you? Have you ever dated somebody? It was
the number before.
Speaker 2 (01:07:01):
For god, I feel like you should change the number
every time you get into a new relationship. That's stop
getting into so many relationships. That's why I only got
one number.
Speaker 1 (01:07:11):
I had the same phone, yeah me, like for more
than that. I've had this this night, like only I've
only had one other cell phone number way earlier on
and I've had this number probably for over thirty years.
Wow yeah yeah, yeah, like thirty years.
Speaker 2 (01:07:25):
Some people switch the number every every three months.
Speaker 1 (01:07:28):
Yeah, so why would you just say you should change
your number every and you don't even do.
Speaker 2 (01:07:32):
Mean like the girl but not you. No, No, because
the girl because as a girl. Now the girl has God.
Speaker 4 (01:07:38):
You have guys from your past life that always want
a shot.
Speaker 1 (01:07:40):
This is where you lost me, the same team.
Speaker 2 (01:07:42):
But don't you have women?
Speaker 1 (01:07:44):
Don't you have women?
Speaker 2 (01:07:48):
Shot? I don't pay, I don't pay moms. It's not
the same. It's just not the same.
Speaker 1 (01:07:52):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (01:07:53):
It's not the same.
Speaker 1 (01:07:54):
It is. Yeah, I'm not going to agree with that.
If you want her to do it, you should do
it too.
Speaker 2 (01:07:59):
I'll do it too.
Speaker 1 (01:08:00):
Okay, So we were about to change his number for
the first time in twenty years.
Speaker 2 (01:08:05):
But only if you only if you really, like, if
you really.
Speaker 1 (01:08:09):
Can your girl like go through your phone? Does that?
Speaker 4 (01:08:11):
No, I'll never know. I mean she could, I'll never
go I'll never go through her phone. I did it
one time six years stomach. It was literally I found
out she was cheating on me. I brought it up
and then I got food poisoning.
Speaker 2 (01:08:22):
Damn, damn, bro, this is a bit.
Speaker 4 (01:08:25):
I'm doing it as a joke now. It was one
of the worst because I didn't have time. You know
when you get the violent food poison.
Speaker 2 (01:08:29):
I didn't have time. I was just I didn't help.
And then she's taking care of me, and I'm.
Speaker 3 (01:08:36):
Like, she didn't know that you knew that she was cheated.
Speaker 4 (01:08:41):
I just brought it up, like I brought it up,
and she started like her excuse and then I just
had to like violently like projectile vomit.
Speaker 2 (01:08:48):
Oh crazy, and I was. He was on vacation. It
was crazy.
Speaker 1 (01:08:52):
You went through her phone? Is that what happened?
Speaker 2 (01:08:54):
No, I was taking a photo. I was taking a
photo and popped up with hearts. Oh so I clicked
the hard and yeah niggas.
Speaker 4 (01:09:03):
And then they had they had a whole conversation like
to do They had never met, so she hadn't actually,
but they was.
Speaker 1 (01:09:10):
Like he was like, I'm a dis laying ass.
Speaker 2 (01:09:17):
They was plotting to like meet up. Nigga took me
on vacation. She she was squeezing. She was saying. She
was saying, like you gotta come visit me like stuff
like that.
Speaker 1 (01:09:29):
Yeah, that's so, and You're like you're here with me
right now.
Speaker 4 (01:09:32):
And the crazy part is then I had like after that,
I had to apologize, like I had to apologize for.
Speaker 2 (01:09:37):
Like, yeah, that's my guy flifted on me and and
I'm sick. I need you to take care of me.
Speaker 4 (01:09:42):
So I'm in no position to bargain, like I got
it just she started just yelling at me.
Speaker 2 (01:09:46):
She's like, I'm gonna leave you here. I was like,
please don't leave.
Speaker 1 (01:09:49):
I'm sorry. I didn't never think that lesson. She pulled
up what men do to us all the time. Yeah,
I want to say, this is why I came. Doesn't
want to be in a relationship.
Speaker 2 (01:10:00):
This is all true.
Speaker 1 (01:10:00):
He wants to avoid all of these things.
Speaker 2 (01:10:02):
Why you wanna avoid?
Speaker 3 (01:10:03):
It's part of life so much more content I know.
Speaker 2 (01:10:08):
But I got mad a whole special. Yeah. The dating,
it just hasn't hasn't. It hasn't happened.
Speaker 1 (01:10:15):
Okay, I mean wait for it to have me too.
Speaker 2 (01:10:18):
It's unrelated. It's finish your first language.
Speaker 1 (01:10:20):
Yeah, okay, Dominican? But who did you say earlier? I
was like he Dominicans. She was like, he looks black.
I was like, you can be he looked regular black.
Speaker 2 (01:10:33):
African American. Yeah, but I didn't.
Speaker 6 (01:10:35):
Say that he looked regular black, and she's like, well,
you know they black, girl, like they look it.
Speaker 2 (01:10:41):
I'll be so like, I'll be having girls where I
feel like they lying to me and I won't even
bring it up, like I just be like, I'll just
take it.
Speaker 4 (01:10:46):
I'll just be like all right, just by way, Like
I'll literally be like, oh man, you lore so good.
Speaker 1 (01:10:50):
And you enjoy it, Yeah, that's crazy.
Speaker 2 (01:10:53):
I'll be like, I'll be like a loud to me baby,
and I'll send hard eyes.
Speaker 1 (01:10:56):
If you're not going to about it, just let just
like lie in peace.
Speaker 2 (01:11:01):
Yeah, yeah, you searched the phones.
Speaker 1 (01:11:03):
No, I've done it. I haven't done it at all
in my relationship, but I've done it. I think when
you do that, you know it's about to end, you know,
like but you want to have like something to yeah,
to be like, well you did X Y and Z.
Oh man, I'll never forget it was I dated this
guy and I went through his phone. Well no, I
didn't go through his phone. He left his email open
(01:11:25):
on my laptop. And this was about I want to say,
like fifteen years ago.
Speaker 2 (01:11:36):
That was a different.
Speaker 1 (01:11:38):
And I've seen all kinds of crazy stuff and so
imagine I don't know what was on his phone, but
his email was lit like he was going on vacations
with other chicks, and the pictures to family members like
this is the chick I took to Jamaica, Like, yeah,
I picked him up from the airport.
Speaker 2 (01:11:58):
Jamaica.
Speaker 1 (01:11:58):
Yes, I did.
Speaker 2 (01:12:00):
I picked him from the airport. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:12:04):
And it was his birthday and I was like him,
so we were supposed to go out that night to
dinner and he called me like hey, someone come. I
was like I don't think I can make it, and
he was like white And then I started sending him screenshots. No,
he was like wait, what how did you? And I
locked him out of his email.
Speaker 2 (01:12:27):
Work look at you.
Speaker 1 (01:12:32):
That was That was the end of it for me,
Like like that's crazy, yeah, yeah, but you know, we
put up with a lot of things that in retrospect
we look back like what the fuck was I thinking?
Speaker 4 (01:12:42):
You know, like going through the phone is crazy because
it's like you're literally saying like I think this person
is cheating on and I want to see it.
Speaker 1 (01:12:49):
To see And then it's also just bad because I
think if you do that, you have to make a move,
Like when you find out what you already know what
is happening. You can't go through someone's phone and then
be like so all those things, but yeah, because now
the person that who's phone you went through doesn't trust
you and they feel violated because it'd be other stuff,
you know, and then you know it's just like now
(01:13:11):
I think, like Chris Back would say, I think, now
you're gonna cheat on.
Speaker 2 (01:13:15):
Yeah, yeah, I have had this happened to me.
Speaker 4 (01:13:17):
I had my friends girl. She went through his phone
and found our group chat. We was we was talking
about her, of course, and I was like, bro, you
can't leave me out like.
Speaker 2 (01:13:28):
Like, it was no cheating, It was just us shipping
on her.
Speaker 1 (01:13:30):
Yeah, those it's worse that or cheating.
Speaker 2 (01:13:34):
Well, for me, from my perspective, this is worse if
if he was cheating, he's sticking up for her.
Speaker 1 (01:13:43):
What you saying about her?
Speaker 2 (01:13:45):
He was it was a group thing. No, we was
agreeing with his tape. He was ship and we was like, bro,
you the prize know your worry. A group chat with
group is gonna be toxic.
Speaker 4 (01:14:04):
Men.
Speaker 2 (01:14:05):
Women gage group chat is.
Speaker 1 (01:14:06):
A group chat that if somebody went and seen me
and just text messages, let.
Speaker 2 (01:14:12):
Me delete these now like that material boy sucked. We
got an interview on.
Speaker 1 (01:14:22):
We would never we wouldn't have done that. But and
I already knew it wasn't gonna suck before I seen it,
because I wouldn't even have signed up, you know what,
I'm to work with you, so that would never have happened, period.
But I did enjoy this, like You're welcome anytime.
Speaker 2 (01:14:37):
Thank you so much. This was a lot of fun.
I was nervous.
Speaker 1 (01:14:39):
Why the episode. I I came just like should I

have normal conversations. I was like, I just want Angela
ask Ruby Rose if she like come on, and I was.
Speaker 1 (01:15:06):

I'm not closing the fact that I'm not going to
get involved with it. But it's not like I'm not.
Speaker 1 (01:15:51):

not like come on my face if you want, Like
that's your thing, Jesus, because like love it. They need it.
Speaker 2 (01:16:04):

Speaker 4 (01:16:08):
They get mad, you don't give, they get upset.
Speaker 3 (01:16:15):
I think coming the moment is fun, and then as
soon as that moment's over, I'm like, this is the
worst part of my day.
Speaker 2 (01:16:20):

It was pre COVID, it was more. It was a
different time.

Speaker 2 (01:22:45):
Adjacent?
Speaker 5 (01:22:46):
Out of the two out of the four, yes, one

that asked me to pack him and I turned him down.
Speaker 1 (01:23:04):
She regrets that.
Speaker 2 (01:23:05):

You would go.
Speaker 1 (01:23:20):
It was really you can't do it. It was just
ready to talk about it. You would do it so

Speaker 4 (01:23:47):
I feel like you lose all control of the relationship,
like your balance, like you can't go out, and you'll
be like, what.
Speaker 1 (01:23:57):
Relationship?
Speaker 2 (01:24:00):
I can't go out.
Speaker 1 (01:24:02):
You'd be like you can't pay my phone. And as

Speaker 2 (01:24:06):
You should just put it on, like you should just
do it?
Speaker 1 (01:24:08):

Speaker 2 (01:24:56):

Speaker 1 (01:25:00):
Were twenty eight thousand, twenty eight minutes? I can't relax
now he want a strip This guy is crazy.
Speaker 5 (01:25:06):

That's crazy.
Speaker 1 (01:25:14):
Look, you're in the wrong line of works.
Speaker 6 (01:25:16):

Speaker 3 (01:25:16):
Listen ten ten that's twenty eight and thirty minuteses.
Speaker 2 (01:25:20):

Speaker 1 (01:25:22):
Angela was there.
Speaker 2 (01:25:23):
That's insane.
Speaker 1 (01:25:24):
Do some money. It wasn't mine.
Speaker 2 (01:25:28):
Wasn't that magic? Twenty eight? Am good for you?
Speaker 8 (01:25:30):

Speaker 1 (01:25:30):
I said that dance girl last dance. Do you think
you're romantic?
Speaker 2 (01:25:38):
Yeah? I think so, I think I am. Yeah, I
think I am. I'm staying at that.
Speaker 4 (01:25:43):
I feel like now as I got older, I've gotten
I'm getting better, I've gotten more.
Speaker 1 (01:25:47):
They give us an example. That's something you've done. That's romantic.
Speaker 4 (01:25:50):
Romantic, I'll go I'll do a lot of like with
my with my girl, I'll do like a lot of trips,
like vacations and stuff.
Speaker 1 (01:25:57):
Okay, that's romantic.
Speaker 2 (01:25:58):
Yeah, that's romantic.
Speaker 4 (01:25:59):
I'm a big, like food person, so it's like, I'll
find restaurants that we should go to effort.
Speaker 1 (01:26:06):
We like that. That's effort you put time in. And
I'll be like, can you cook?
Speaker 2 (01:26:10):
Yeah? I could cook.
Speaker 4 (01:26:11):
Okay, I could cook. Not not like great, I'm not
a chef, but I could cook. But I'll find I'll
find like restaurants that we should go.
Speaker 1 (01:26:18):
To and just be like, that's Jazzin's love language. If
y'all don't make it.
Speaker 4 (01:26:22):
Yeah, he's got order for you.
Speaker 2 (01:26:28):
That you know.
Speaker 1 (01:26:30):
The thing about always being fan is it's hard to
argue when you're full. Yeah, Like, if you get in
an argument with Jasmine and you send her some food
on door dash, it's all good, it's over.
Speaker 4 (01:26:40):
You Ever dated someone where you didn't line up food walls.
Speaker 1 (01:26:43):
Yeah, that's that is hard.
Speaker 2 (01:26:46):
Hard.
Speaker 1 (01:26:47):
I dated a guy who had the nerve to say
something about me drinking like it wasn't healthy while he
was getting a bacon cheeseburger, the nerves. If you don't
like that, I drink.
Speaker 4 (01:26:58):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:26:59):
Food not matching up its tough. And music for music
are you not?
Speaker 1 (01:27:06):
Is tough?
Speaker 2 (01:27:09):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (01:27:09):
Or like TV shows or like moving to something that
you're not into.
Speaker 2 (01:27:13):
It is crazy because I remember one of the date
I talk about this on. It was a vegan dude.
Speaker 3 (01:27:20):
Yeah, I don't know and exactly and of the day,
and he asked me.
Speaker 2 (01:27:23):
He was like, hey, are you vegan.
Speaker 3 (01:27:25):
I'm like, oh, no, I'm not. He's like, what do
you consider I'm like, oh yeah, no, I'm not considered that.
And then he asked this the day ended. He asked
you a question. He's like, Okay, if animals could talk,
consider not eating them. And I'm like, all right, Like
it depends on what they're saying.
Speaker 2 (01:27:41):
That's funny. At the president at the table next to
me busted out laughing. He was so upset. It doesn't
matter what they're saying. And I'm like, it never worked
and he he he.
Speaker 1 (01:27:54):
And he had leather sneakers.
Speaker 2 (01:27:56):
No he wasn't, and then he got mad diet not
matching up as he laught. He left the days top.
I've been on a date with the vegans. Top. I
don't even know what to talk to you about.
Speaker 4 (01:28:09):
Everything I talked about his steak can be it can
be good.
Speaker 2 (01:28:14):
But I didn't know he was.
Speaker 3 (01:28:15):
It didn't seem say his profile like if this, if
this is the deal breaker for you and that.
Speaker 2 (01:28:20):
Then I would have wriped. Say I'm a vegan. Yeah,
you bet. You don't drink either, that's crazy. I don't.
Speaker 1 (01:28:26):
Yeah, but are you one of those people like you
don't know?
Speaker 2 (01:28:29):
I don't care if people drinking.
Speaker 1 (01:28:30):
He left it. I don't want to that doesn't drink.
Speaker 2 (01:28:33):
Yeah, I don't think. I don't want to alcoholic. I
dated that too. I don't want that.
Speaker 1 (01:28:36):
We don't want that.
Speaker 2 (01:28:37):
No, I don't want that. But you gotta let's have
a couple of drinks. I drink. I'm not one of
the people who's like you should if you I get it.
I just don't want to.
Speaker 1 (01:28:45):
I'm about to stop drinking again. Okay.
Speaker 6 (01:28:47):
I went three years without drinking except where Angela was
around pouring forty two down my throat.
Speaker 1 (01:28:55):
And then when I did start drinking, it was.
Speaker 2 (01:28:58):
Just one night or every time he was around you
drink it.
Speaker 1 (01:28:59):
Was three times within the three year. It's like once
a year, I would do a shot. Yes.
Speaker 5 (01:29:03):
Yeah, during that three years when I decided to start
drinking again, it was red wine only until I started
dating the y N and then I was back on
the dondy uh huh. So it's been like a little
more than a year. You ski mask No no, no,
he was a young black man.
Speaker 1 (01:29:21):
No, not a y N y switch ye block switch
No no no no no no no no no no.
But so I have a new job. This leads into
what I'm So.
Speaker 2 (01:29:35):
I have a new job.
Speaker 1 (01:29:36):
Guys, y'all know I keep a job, right.
Speaker 5 (01:29:38):
So I am managing a restaurant slash lounge in Miami
and the Windwood area.
Speaker 1 (01:29:44):
Are you coming to Miami.
Speaker 5 (01:29:45):
I'm gonna be hopping around Okay, yeah, I love that
for you.
Speaker 1 (01:29:49):
Back and forth.
Speaker 2 (01:29:50):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:29:51):
So the lounge Saucy Buddha. Okay, it's in Windwood over.
Ya know where Duncan New is. It's like a black
from Duncan New.
Speaker 2 (01:29:59):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:30:00):
So it was a restaurant that was already up and running.
It was like an Asian fusion thing.
Speaker 1 (01:30:04):
It was lit. It was, but for whatever reason, so
the owners decided to sell and the person that bought
it asked me to come in and help consult with
the opening, which turned into me doing such an amazing
job that I was offered a full time position. I love.
(01:30:24):
So I've been in Miami.
Speaker 5 (01:30:26):
Every week for the past every week for the past month.
I literally just left Miami six o'clock this morning with
a pit stop in Atlanta so I can get some
warm clothes to come here to be with y'all this
coldest outside. And I go back to Miami tomorrow for
the next two weeks. And the grand opening for the
restaurant is New Year's Eve, So.
Speaker 1 (01:30:43):
We got to know we can't go New ye but
we gotta go yeah after that Bay right, her birthday
is the third I went in having a party in Miami.
When so we can make that happen. When after y'all
come back from island, well o, when y'all can pop
out to up in there, you think, yeah, yeah, congratulations.
Speaker 2 (01:31:05):
That's really cool.
Speaker 1 (01:31:07):
And then you know, if you want to pre order
food on a day, So we switched the menu and
the staff.
Speaker 5 (01:31:16):
Of course we're so we're all like from Atlanta quote unquote,
so we're bringing that Atlanta lounge vibe to when would
you know we got lamb chops, limon, drops of the
pepper wings, you know what I'm saying, Like we got
the hookah d Jottle girls, Sparklers going on. It's not huge,
but it's it's wood.
Speaker 1 (01:31:39):
In Miami, a lasting when my place is ready and
I'm saying and it's not and it's not too far
from there.
Speaker 2 (01:31:43):
Are you getting a place in Miami? Got it?
Speaker 1 (01:31:46):
It's already done. Ye got to finish skinn and belt.
Speaker 2 (01:31:49):
Yeah, Miami.
Speaker 5 (01:31:50):
I'm really excited about that. But so because I'm going
to be back in the mix of a manager in
that role, I don't want to be like drinking, it's
gonna be too accessible.
Speaker 1 (01:32:02):
I could drink whatever I want when I want, and
I don't want, but it's gonna be hard when there's
some VIP clients.
Speaker 5 (01:32:06):
Now I will, you know, I will drink accordingly, but
I'm just not just be moderate. Yeah, And the way
for me to do that is red Why only at least.
Speaker 1 (01:32:16):
Do that. But if y'all need some coffee, we do
for specially my teens. We got to go right here,
period people. But anyway, and material.
Speaker 4 (01:32:27):
Boy, Material Boy streaming on YouTube for free and uh
and uh, what stage we one called Romantic Comedy streaming.
Speaker 1 (01:32:34):
On h Romantic Comedy. Oh my god, that was three years.
But I want to say, somebody is gonna, I think,
needs to buy this for the streaming services.
Speaker 2 (01:32:44):
Yeah, I was.
Speaker 4 (01:32:45):
I was supposed to. I was talking to one to
do it, and then the back and forth. I just
got too tired of it. And everything's on YouTube anyway.
Now I just put it out.
Speaker 2 (01:32:52):
I just want people to see.
Speaker 1 (01:32:53):
It's hilarious as it.
Speaker 2 (01:32:56):
Yeah, I was like, I just want people to see it.
