Speaker 1 (00:01):
You look good.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
You do too, Thank you?
Speaker 1 (00:04):
What what are you talking about?
Speaker 3 (00:10):
You look good in real life?
Speaker 1 (00:17):
Everybody, Hello, Hello.
Speaker 3 (00:22):
Down your show before, I know, And I'm mad that
we're doing it now because I have you for what
like ten to fifteen minutes, so we gotta come do
the real thing. I need you in the chair, me too,
because there's so much about your life that I find
so fascinating.
Speaker 1 (00:35):
And the way.
Speaker 3 (00:35):
You the ebbs and flows, you go, you keep getting
back up and you keep finding new ways and.
Speaker 1 (00:42):
You know what I mean.
Speaker 3 (00:43):
And I just and it's not it's not always easy,
I'm sure, and I think there's probably so many lessons
in that that I can't wait till.
Speaker 1 (00:50):
I can't wait.
Speaker 2 (00:51):
And so I got a book and that's coming out
a perfect and I put it all in.
Speaker 3 (00:54):
The Book's gonna blow your mind. When does that come?
Speaker 2 (00:58):
I don't know, I think extra all right, Well, well
I just turned it in. I'm really proud of myself.
And two years to write.
Speaker 1 (01:03):
I did a book, so I know how long.
Speaker 3 (01:05):
It takes and I know how I mean, you're pretty
transparent and open.
Speaker 2 (01:09):
No, this is a different level. So this is like
the things that I don't talk about.
Speaker 3 (01:14):
Are there are things things because it seems from the outside, well,
I do a lot of protecting and then I do
a lot.
Speaker 1 (01:21):
I take a lot of bullets. And that was.
Speaker 2 (01:24):
Okay for that time, but you know, sometimes you have
to kind of is that season over?
Speaker 1 (01:29):
Yes it is. I love that for you. I love
that for me too. Is it free?
Speaker 2 (01:36):
It's very much freeing. It's amazing for my mental health.
And it just had to be done. And this is
not me telling or spilling the beans. It's just setting
myself free.
Speaker 3 (01:46):
And what is the number one thing you Because when
you write your old when you always tell you after
I did my book, I told her because mine was
like eight years ago, but I told everybody should write
their own like book or memoir because it forces you
to look at your whole life.
Speaker 1 (01:57):
And then you see, even.
Speaker 3 (01:58):
If you never put it out, even if you're for yourself, like,
look at your life.
Speaker 1 (02:02):
I agree with that, cause you see things that you did.
Oh I did that.
Speaker 3 (02:05):
It's the same thing so many times you just start
seeing it from up above.
Speaker 1 (02:09):
Yeah, and you learn something you do, you know.
Speaker 2 (02:11):
I tell a lot of stories, but I also take
a lot of accountability as well, and that's really kind
of what it's about. It's like your lessons and then
what did you do? What did you about yourself at
that time? You learned about yourself in general? Oh, I
learned that it's okay to show up as me and
whatever I have to give for that day. You know,
(02:31):
I'm just saying, and my I know that day it's
okay to say no.
Speaker 1 (02:36):
And I don't know.
Speaker 2 (02:38):
I'm just very into showing up as my best self
and protecting my mental health at all costs because I
have a twelve year old son and if I'm not
present for him, then I've completely let him down.
Speaker 1 (02:50):
What is the number one way you do that.
Speaker 2 (02:53):
I'm in therapy a few times a week. It's a
good place to start a few times a week, a
few times a week, and I have the Holy Ghost
and I have no I'm serious. I think people think
that's funny, but the truth is that is the perfect cocktail,
because I have found one does not work without the others.
It doesn't, it doesn't, but together together, it's a thing.
Speaker 1 (03:15):
It's a cocktail. Is in church.
Speaker 2 (03:19):
I don't know about church just my whole day because
I don't. I'm a person that don't go to church.
You know, it's not about religion either. It's not a relationship.
It's about relationship with him. And I didn't find that
until a couple of years ago.
Speaker 1 (03:32):
How is that.
Speaker 3 (03:32):
Possible because you've always said you've always spoken about.
Speaker 2 (03:36):
Well, that's what I thought that he should be, or
thought that it was through the teachings of my family
and through church. But I didn't really get to know
him from myself until a couple of years ago.
Speaker 1 (03:47):
What happened.
Speaker 2 (03:48):
I was in the shower and I was praying, and
you know how like you just like genuinely pray whatever,
And I was praying and I just had a moment
and he was there.
Speaker 1 (03:59):
What do you mean? I'm under stand with that.
Speaker 2 (04:00):
Tell me Okay, So if you've never experienced it, you'll
feel his energy as if.
Speaker 1 (04:07):
He was in the shower. Wow.
Speaker 2 (04:09):
And I can hear him very clearless if you're talking
right now, no way, no serious. Is it like a
voice or is it like a It's it's like you're
talking to me. It was like till I don't do that.
Speaker 1 (04:19):
Stop. Oh, You're ridiculous. And it's funny because a lot
of I don't think I'm weird. I'm I'm a boss. No,
I'm just trying to tap it. I'm just trying to
so it's almost like okay, so let me just give
it to you like this.
Speaker 2 (04:31):
You know how, it's the same God that we serve
in Spanish and in English. And if you're in Spanish,
you can hear the word of God and you can
understand Him speak to you in Spanish. I can understand
him speak to me and take Martian, so you get
what I'm saying.
Speaker 3 (04:49):
I do get what you're saying, because I think everybody's
connection with God is their own, and so like I
know when I'm doing the right thing because I have
a system, okay to me, like if I say, if
I'm talking about the color pink all day and then
I come in this pink classes right here, I'm like, God,
I see it like if I'm aligned, and those things
happen when I'm aligned and doing what I.
Speaker 1 (05:09):
Was supposed to be.
Speaker 3 (05:10):
That happens all day every day. I take that as
little like okay, in a little right path. So that's
just like a language that I've developed for myself. So
when you say that, I'm not looking at you crazy.
I'm just trying to understand what your language is like
what you say you hear, but you don't hear a
voice like an actual voice.
Speaker 1 (05:29):
Yeah, I can hear it. I don't understand that. That's
what that's the part I'm trying. Oh, I can't hear
it very clear, like an actual voice. Yes, just a
God's voice today. Who was I talking to? Was it Sierra?
Speaker 3 (05:42):
I asked Sierra about what God would say to her,
and she did this deep voice and I was like, well,
what is that? And that's how she I think here's
God's voice. Everybody hears something different. I believe he talked
to her too.
Speaker 1 (05:52):
To Sierra, Oh for sure. Why because she's figured it out.
It's not about her husband and it's not about her children.
It's about you.
Speaker 2 (06:01):
Can you can tell her walk it's real, you know
what I mean? And you can tell by the decisions
that she makes and the way she talks.
Speaker 1 (06:10):
Yeah, I want to know more about that.
Speaker 3 (06:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (06:13):
God knows his people. I mean the people know. The
people will go. How do you tap? Like I know
you were saying you were praying in that moment. Why
did it.
Speaker 3 (06:19):
Happen in that moment? Why was what was going on you?
Why do you think he chose that moment to conn't.
Speaker 2 (06:25):
But this was right after do you remember the whole
suicide attempting all of that.
Speaker 1 (06:33):
So I'm gonna give you a quick story.
Speaker 2 (06:35):
So I moved into this two point seven million dollar
house and I did not have a job at the time.
I quit the Braxtons, my singing career. This is like
the pandemic. No one knew what anybody was going to
do in the entertainment space, right, And I didn't know
how I got approved. I didn't know how I got
(06:58):
my down payment, although I did it right.
Speaker 1 (07:02):
And I'm like, oh my God.
Speaker 2 (07:03):
Like I'm a single mom, and I'm like, how am
I going to figure all of these things out? And
God said, it's not for you to figure out if
if you lean and depend on me, I will work
it out. And that is when my relationship with money changed.
With money, with money, money and God problem money and God.
Speaker 1 (07:22):
But through him, my relationship with money changed. And what
does that break down my problem? What do you mean?
It's not my problem, it's his problem.
Speaker 2 (07:30):
And it always like it's more than enough, like I
don't even stuff me happening or things come up be
like well, how like let me know right now?
Speaker 1 (07:41):
It's still like the.
Speaker 2 (07:42):
Top five TikTok song. And I wrote that song eleven
years ago.
Speaker 1 (07:49):
It's not my problem. He got it, he got it.
Did you to worry about money a lot?
Speaker 2 (08:02):
You know, I'm human and we're in an entertainment business,
and a lot of people don't talk about the downside
to the situation.
Speaker 1 (08:07):
Everybody act like they're.
Speaker 2 (08:08):
So rich, and everybody, even the people who are like I,
can't be acting like they're so rich.
Speaker 1 (08:13):
But they're still working. They still work.
Speaker 2 (08:16):
They're still working because the people of God need to
work and things don't always look like what they see.
And when I tell you, ever since then, I don't
worry about it.
Speaker 1 (08:28):
I can't because it's not my problem. I love that
money is energy? What else? Energy? What else? Don't you
worry about it anymore? Oh? This is recent? You got
me vulnerable. I'm ready to go to New York. Okay, okay,
this is not for everybody in the room. I don't
worry about my heart anymore, Really, I don't. It's not
(08:52):
my problem either. Did you used to worry about it alive?
Speaker 2 (08:54):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (08:54):
My god?
Speaker 2 (08:55):
Because I always thought that I was the person who
always got their heart broken. And now I don't worry
about finding my person. I don't worry about getting my
heart broken. I don't worry about getting in another relationship.
I don't worry about It's not my problem because I
know God it's going to protect me. It's going to
protect my heart because I asked for protection over my heart.
Speaker 1 (09:20):
Wow, this sounds like an amazing place to be.
Speaker 2 (09:24):
Oh man, yo, I know it sounds like I'm auntieasing
now at church y'all. I was lost with Now I'm found,
and that really means I've I have found like the blueprint.
Speaker 1 (09:41):
Why do I found the life hack? And you don't
know why? Why do you think it took so long?
Speaker 2 (09:46):
It took so long because I wasn't ready and I
wasn't gonna I'm Taitan. I was Taita back then, now Tamar.
I wasn't ready to listen. I wanted to do things
my way. And I'm not trying to sound churchy churchy,
but it's just.
Speaker 1 (10:00):
Not my way.
Speaker 2 (10:01):
My way is ground. Think about all the scandals and Shenanigan.
Speaker 1 (10:05):
You've been You've been through some things.
Speaker 2 (10:07):
I've been through some things, but I have no idea
how I got out.
Speaker 1 (10:11):
Of them until now. And now you know.
Speaker 2 (10:14):
I wasn't supposed to be the person to come back
this year with five shows and performing at the BT
Awards when somebody wanted me to perform there right on
their set. I wasn't the person who was able to
go and do an album with Tricky Stewart and put
out an EP and do two tours in a year
and have my own tour and fund my own tour
(10:36):
and be my own promote like.
Speaker 1 (10:41):
Put in my own money to do what Now that's
a wait, what are you doing at the Awards? I did.
I was just supposed to be a surprise maybe. Okay,
wait say that a way. Just watch it to the
end of the show. Praise God. Who's performing? Is it
Kirk or Sloop or it's one of them. I don't
(11:05):
want get nobody in trouble. Sorry, okay, okay, okay, okay,
I'm excited. Would I want you to know that? And
she looks amazing, don't you'll see his face? Baby?
Speaker 2 (11:15):
People don't give the girls the credit day deserve and
cause some people around here looking like.
Speaker 3 (11:20):
From thank you baby, you look amazing too.
Speaker 1 (11:25):
But I have a good makeup artist. God is good.
Now you're looking and I use Korean skincare. Now, oh
are you into this? Okay? Breakdown? It works. Breakdown, it
works for me.
Speaker 2 (11:35):
Skin serum and the facial wash.
Speaker 1 (11:41):
That's some good stuff.
Speaker 2 (11:42):
And I'm also just tapping into Korean foundation. That's that
little red day You don't know the Holy Ghost makes
that in his kitchen.
Speaker 1 (11:50):
You don't know no brand names?
Speaker 2 (11:51):
Do you?
Speaker 1 (11:52):
I don't, I don't, but I send it to you.
Speaker 2 (11:54):
That thing.
Speaker 1 (11:56):
I'll put it in the description. Yeah, that stuff in
that little red over.
Speaker 3 (11:59):
Than Yeah it HiT's okay, good to trust trying to
do some stuff.
Speaker 1 (12:04):
Will you go into our in real life bowl here? Okay,
here's some questions that we have. Let's see what you get. No,
they're not, they're not nothing. Scinned was crazy?
Speaker 2 (12:14):
Okay, what of course this is mine? What's a habit
that you're proud of? And what's the habit that you're
trying to break? Okay, okay, I have to do the
break first. The habit that I'm trying to break is
(12:34):
that I love fast food so much. Now I am
a closet fast food driver person, Like like.
Speaker 1 (12:42):
What are talking about? Leg every week? Like once a week,
twice a week, four times a week. Possibly I love
a jack in a box. I love it in and out.
I love the mcdowells, I love the wind. It's not mcdowells.
You had a fish flace.
Speaker 2 (12:59):
And I've actually always kind of been a fast fool girl.
And yeah, I'm trying to you know, I'm dig my
back that way.
Speaker 1 (13:10):
Yeah, and so what was the other one? Trying to
open it up? What is a habit that I am
proud of? Discipline? It's so tough. It's tough.
Speaker 2 (13:22):
So as much as I love it, I've been off
of that narcotic for almost two weeks.
Speaker 1 (13:26):
Now. Wow, what fast food? Wow?
Speaker 2 (13:31):
Because my chin was down on my chest. I gotta
figure something out. And you got all these TV shows? Now,
these TVs, well, I've recorded them. But you know, you're
extra hot when you extra think.
Speaker 1 (13:42):
So I'm a little hot. So I had to let
that go to discipline. Two weeks is great, it's good.
All right, Let's do one more. Let's do one more.
I don't know why. I feel like there's one in
there that's like for really for you. I'll let you
pick it. Let's say this one. Oh, I love this
for you.
Speaker 3 (14:01):
If God were to text you right now, what would
he say?
Speaker 2 (14:06):
Oh oh, he would say, I'm proud of you.
Speaker 1 (14:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (14:15):
I feel like I had a test earlier this week
that I passed and normally I would not, and I
had to think about my end goal, and my end
goal became more important than a moment.
Speaker 1 (14:30):
Hmmm. Yeah, So he's proud of He's proud of me,
and we take steps. Does he use an emoji this one? Yes?
Finally you got it? What does that mean when something
tests you or you're being tested? Were you tested? The girl?
Speaker 2 (14:52):
Some of my always like men, is it?
Speaker 1 (14:55):
Is it? No? Problem? Is never?
Speaker 3 (14:57):
Man?
Speaker 1 (14:57):
Is it?
Speaker 2 (14:58):
Like?
Speaker 1 (14:59):
Just like our like? What is it? I'm feeling like
I have to defend myself.
Speaker 2 (15:04):
That comes from me being the youngest of my family
and always feeling like I don't have anyone to speak.
Speaker 1 (15:10):
Up for me, So I got to do it myself.
I don't. He said, let me do it. I validate you.
I can do it better than you, and he.
Speaker 2 (15:17):
Does, because when I speak up, it goes viral and
I'm problematic, and so I just let him handle it
and not keep it moving.
Speaker 3 (15:26):
But you've been doing that a certain way for so
many years. That is probably sometimes you like.
Speaker 2 (15:31):
Yeah, because I'm comfortable in it right, and you're waiting
for somebody to be like, yes, girl, because this is
what really happened.
Speaker 1 (15:37):
And so now I just be like, okay, y'all talk.
I love this season for you. Yeah, I love it too.
It's such a better place to be, you know.
Speaker 2 (15:45):
I feel much lighter, you know, my my, my makeup
goes on even better.
Speaker 1 (15:51):
You know, it's thought God things that you know. It's better,
you know. Yeah, the sun shines brighter.
Speaker 2 (15:59):
You're not heavy with negativity because negativity is heavy, you know,
no matter where it comes from, whether it's self inflicted
or from the internet. And so if you like remove
yourself from the negativity, you don't run into it.
Speaker 3 (16:11):
Last question is yellow one to ten. How happy are
you in real life?
Speaker 1 (16:15):
Oh? Today I'm at a hundred. It says I'll take
me today. Yeah. I love that. Yeah, I love that
for me in real life.
Speaker 3 (16:29):
Everybody, we didn't get to talk about your show, which
I can watch it, which is so amazing.
Speaker 1 (16:37):
Oh it's so good.
Speaker 2 (16:38):
It's okay, So let me tell you all right, real
too quick for you walk, I know we had the time. Okay,
So my show Double Life is so good. I know
it's not just about cheating, I know. Okay, So it's
about people who like have the life that you know
them to have, but they have a whole totally different
life that.
Speaker 1 (16:54):
You don't know nothing about it.
Speaker 3 (16:55):
And don't you think a lot of people have things
that man oh man, we would think.
Speaker 2 (17:00):
And it's the most normal looking people who are out
here scandalous dollars.
Speaker 1 (17:06):
And these are real people. None of these are actors. No,
they're not acting real situations.
Speaker 2 (17:11):
And I'm a Pisces and you know I'm the girl
that you called a cracker case.
Speaker 1 (17:15):
Anyway. No, no, you're so good at it.
Speaker 2 (17:17):
You haven't some to the bottom of the had I know,
so much fun. Yeah, and I could pick it up
at fifteen twenty minutes.
Speaker 1 (17:23):
It's so good. Tell them why to watch the show, y'all?
Watch the show on MTV at nine o'clock on Tuesdays.
There it is. I'm coming to New York Yob
