Speaker 1 (00:01):
Hi, I'm Kristin Davis, and I want to know, are
you a Charlotte?

Speaker 2 (00:07):
Hi?

Speaker 1 (00:07):
Everybody, we are back Camille Levington and I recapping the
finale of season one. Oh come all, ye faithful, let's
jump back it. Dare I say it a new man? Yeah?
I'm excited for this though, Yes, me too, But I
don't know what happens. I can't say. I can't Okay, okay,

(00:28):
I'm excited. There's a new man that is in the
trailer saying something to her that. Miranda also comments to her,
I saw your spark. Okay, you support this, right?

Speaker 2 (00:40):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (00:40):
I do? I know right? Yes, because life is an
over you never know what might happen.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
No, no, no, fully support the new love hopefully.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
I mean, I don't know if it's a new love.
I didn't say that. I know, but I'm a new man.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
I'm manifesting around. Okay, okay, I like that.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
I like that. This is when the shocking thing in
the episode happens. Samantha shows up and she tells us
all that she's and love and.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
Literally, are my jass open? I literally gasped because I
was like, I don't know how many times in the
show she says these words.

Speaker 1 (01:07):
I don't think ever that I remember. I gasped as well.
I do not remember this except I remember that scene
in the bathroom that's coming up. Oh tone in the episode,
by the way, I like that lie.

Speaker 2 (01:19):
It's really funny, really funny. We'll get there.

Speaker 1 (01:21):
We'll get there, you guys. Okay, So we're all shocked.
Then we see a flashback of her meeting this man
James at a jazz club. And I don't want to
go into detail because this is about someone else's life,
but if you were, if you were following along, this
is based on something that happened in life. Okay. So
she meets this man in a jazz club and he's
very charming, and they spark it up, you know, like

(01:41):
you're saying in the jazz club.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
And then Samantha says that she.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
Owes it all to Charlotte and like so shocked. I'm like,
oh what, And she says, because of all my bullshit
did I say about not having sex right away, that
she's actually having feelings and that she could actually marry him,
which all of.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
Us are just like, I know, I was like, what
episode am I watching? I know what is happening.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
Who is she? What is going on? I know, it's
very interesting. So then Charlotte trots her little self right
off to a psychic, which is very funny. I have
zero memories. Okay, I've got straight hair parted in the middle.
It's very nineties. I've got some silvery blue eyeshadow on.
It's a mess as far as I'm concerned. But I

(02:27):
try myself to this psychic who basically says that I
will not get married, that I'm a strong independent woman,
which is not anything that Charlotte even wants to hear.
Charlie's just like, what you know, it's so funny, Like
I would think she'd be like, oh, oh, at least
I'm a strong independent woman.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
No, but she not only heard the marriage. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
Yeah, it's so sad. It's so sad, and so I'm upset.
Charlotte's upset. So then we go to Biggs. Oh, and
this is when she literally says to him, I want
to go to church with you and your mom. And
he is surprised and doesn't see her as the church kind.
He says to her, which is like so weird.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
I know when she says.

Speaker 1 (03:07):
Like, like you act like I'm the devil or something.
She said, like, it's all so much to get your
head around, do you know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (03:14):
So then she says, which also really kills me, I
want to go to church with you and your mommy.

Speaker 1 (03:23):
That's her giving it to him a little bit, you
know what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (03:26):
That's her, Like, no, she's very playful, yeah, playful and
just a little bit of you know. So he rejects
her off her, and then he says it's private for
just the two him and his mom.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
And then he says, let's go to the Caribbean. Which
I'm just like, this is the mess you. I mean,
I don't remember any of this. Like, it's not good.
It's not good. It feels chaotic to me, right, yes, unpredictable,
elusive and chaotic, and I feel very passionately mad about it. Yep,

(03:57):
I agree. Sure that has a lot to do with me.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
So then we're back with Miranda and hikkey.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
Oh it's just fun to watch this too, I gotta say,
I really want to watch it again. So basically they're
having the exact same position sex. He's grunting in the
exact same way and calling out to God and then
she tries to get him to stay in bed, and
she says this is the wrong thing to do.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
She walks right into it.

Speaker 1 (04:23):
She says there's nothing sinful about sex, and he goes off.
Oh my god, I was shocked.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
I mean, he goes over horrified. I know. It was
really good, naked, like just he's naked.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
He's got a towel wrapped around him, and he she
has like a monologue about how it.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
Is so spendiful, clearing it up for me.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
I'm healed. Like, he goes off, it's really beautifully written.
It's so Michael Patrick. No, he's so incredibly good. And
he goes, what is that the gospel? According to Miranda?
I know. I was like, God, alright, I know, and
she she does look, she does look a little scared.
She kind of sits up. She kind of holds the
sheets up like terrifle. What didn't expect.

Speaker 2 (05:06):
This, you know.

Speaker 1 (05:08):
So that's the end of that, and then they tell
us that it's going to become a hit off Broadway play.
So yeah, you know, it's fund the Shower of Shame.
I love it. It's really really good. It's really good.
Then oh gosh, we cut to Samantha with this guy James.
I feel really bad for him. They say they they
love each other, which you're also just like, what Samantha

(05:31):
is this and she's just so like its soft and
kind of girly, like her her sexual self, but kind
of gurly. So it's terrible. It's so painful to watch.
So they're they're on her four poster bed, which is
a very traditional choice, but whatever, and you know, she says, like,
unzip it and come over here, and he does, and

(05:52):
then she goes put it in me and he goes
it isn't It's just terrible. Oh, it's just so painful.
It's so painful.

Speaker 2 (05:59):
I told you this is when the blanket was like
up to here on me.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
I know, look, I'm I play Charlotte, and yet I
have to discuss it, all right, So I'm just trying
to be brave about it because I don't know if
you saw the episode where Oliver.

Speaker 2 (06:12):
Hudson came on. Have you ever met Oliver Hudson? Yes, hold,
but I know who he is. Yes, Oh my god.
We talked about some stuff.

Speaker 1 (06:20):
Okay, I was dying dying, But I mean, this is
a very famous storyline that people sometimes bring up to me,
and I so did not remember that it was first
season because then we end up she comes and tells
us all about it in a bathroom scene at a club,
and I remember filming this. We we built a set
for it. We were not at the Limelight or wherever

(06:40):
they are. I don't know if that's where it is.
It might be at the club inside of the church. Yeah,
Charlotte with another side back at the club at Samantha's
hold on, hold on, when do we go to the bathroom.
It's very long. It's when we call it a gurkin?

Speaker 2 (06:54):
Do you call it?

Speaker 1 (06:55):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (06:55):
She does?

Speaker 3 (06:56):
Ye?

Speaker 1 (06:57):
Yes. I remember a lot of discussion about what is
a girl? Someone had to find the one, so before
we all had our smartphones, did to find one and
show it to us?

Speaker 2 (07:07):
It was yeah, and that scene was very hard to film.

Speaker 1 (07:09):
Me when I watch it, first of all, I definitely
remember it because it was very long and also a.

Speaker 2 (07:15):
Very She's excellent in that scene.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
By that excellent, so good. She's so so good because
she's so mortified that she cares, but she also cares.

Speaker 2 (07:25):
And also it's just the monologue itself is so hysterical,
and she really grounds it as Samantha yes, I mean
as I yes, and I was just admiring her.

Speaker 1 (07:39):
It was really good.

Speaker 2 (07:40):
I was like, I don't know how I would have
played this, and she's.

Speaker 1 (07:42):
Just I agree, I agree, And then the rest of
us are just you're in particular, I'm trying to get
on my mark because like to get three people in
a ship.

Speaker 2 (07:51):
I mean, so like sometimes I'm looking down, but.

Speaker 1 (07:53):
Like I don't want you to know that at am
I in the spot I'm supposed to be in, because whenever,
this is the beginning of a lot of very complex
scenes that we all four do together. Sometimes we're walking
and you had to find the lens or something real hard,
you know, really fun also because it's like it's just
a challenge, but also it's not easy. It's not easy,
and I can see myself like, oh yeah, I'm yeah.

Speaker 2 (08:25):
So then they're at the church.

Speaker 1 (08:26):
Oh and then we see Skipper, adorable Skipper comes back,
and because we're in this has been through this thing
with the Catholic guy, Skipper somehow looks better. And to me,
I think Skipper looks better because he is so dependibly
just gonna look at her with awe love me.

Speaker 2 (08:43):
So when she needs it.

Speaker 1 (08:44):
She's like, yeah, that looks good, you know, but she kind.

Speaker 2 (08:47):
Of feel bad for him.

Speaker 1 (08:48):
But then on the other hand, I'm happy for her
that she has that yes, you know, kind of adorable
and I'm like, oh, cute. Skipper's back, and then Willie's there,
Oh my god, just like so young and so beautiful,
and there's the Limelight and instead of Fragrance Launch and
I feel like there literally is a fragrance called Fallen
Angel now. And I don't know if.

Speaker 2 (09:08):
There was that that's true, I know, if not, I know,
so interesting it I know, I'm confused.

Speaker 1 (09:16):
I need to look it up. I didn't have time today,
but I was like, wait, wait, fall it Angel. But anyway,
really interesting and I love that they're at the Limelight
because obviously it was a real place. It's no longer
a club.

Speaker 2 (09:25):
Why we reopened for a bit.

Speaker 1 (09:27):
And now it's like I feel like it might be
like they have I feel like they might have AA meetings.
They're no jokes.

Speaker 2 (09:33):
Oh wow.

Speaker 1 (09:34):
I know. I'm not totally sure though. I feel like
it was something else for a while. Anyway, it's still there,
but it's not what it was. But that's okay because
it's not the nineties anywhere. So basically we then cut
to Miranda and Carrie going to the church in their hats.
Really bad spy, really really bad spy, and also like,

(09:55):
should not have made this decision. I don't know why
Miranda's with her. I guess Miranda's with her to be
like moral so ord or whatever. But yeah, definitely not
a good idea to go spy in a big hat
at a church. And this is when they're up in
the balcony and then the Bible balls, which is like
so mortifying. I can't even imagine. I can't even imagine.
And of course they look at her and he looks

(10:16):
at her like what are you doing here? And then afterwards,
O god, She's like I'm just gonna stay here. She's
like so kind of Charlotte, like in a way, you're
vulnerable and.

Speaker 2 (10:27):
It's all going to work out. And Miranda's like, okay,
I'll leave.

Speaker 1 (10:29):
But then I was like, just go, I know, just leave.
I know they should have left after the Bible filed,
do a doc and you wrong, right, get down, you
get down, don't do it, I know, because she's like,
gonna make it work. You've got a lover, right, I mean,

(10:50):
that's how I felt. So anyway, they're down there. She
meets his mom. His mom doesn't know who she is,
and she says, she's like Carrie, Oh the pain I'm
talking about with big I know, I'm with you. I
get it now. I didn't get it then, but I
get it now. So the mom leaves and she's, you know,

(11:12):
like heard, but still he's still withholding basically and basically says,
you know, I asked you not to go to church,
and then he says, wait, yeah, he says. Then he says,
my mother doesn't need to meet another girlfriend. She should
leave right then and never speak to him again. But

(11:33):
we would have had a show. But still, this that's
why we were sucked.

Speaker 2 (11:37):
In though every episode because if she had left, you know,
we were bought into the back and forth of it.

Speaker 1 (11:43):
But yeah, I know that was really bad, really bad.
She does not deserve that. She deserves so much better.
Carry all the way, team, Carry all the way. And
at the end, I'm just gonna jump to the end
because I have a bunch of questions. But I'm just
oh wait, Charlotte goes to another psychic.

Speaker 2 (12:01):
Oh yeah, this make me laugh. When they cracked the
egg and there was nothing in there.

Speaker 1 (12:05):
I was like no, And also like, where do you
find an egg with no yoke?

Speaker 2 (12:08):
Like I thought that that was like very creepy. Actually
it was creepy. Were sure and you might be cursed?
Oh I think I think they said that that you
had some sort of like this is when Charlotte is
really better than you think she is journeyman because she
knows she sees yeah, because they want one hundred dollars.

Speaker 1 (12:27):
She's like, oh, yeah, no, this is a thing. This
is yeah, because the chickens behind her like it's it's
a situation made. Yeah. I don't remember filming that at
all either. I do remember filming when I walk out
in my coat because I think it was like four
or five am, and the handsome man bumps in yes,
and then I have hope again.

Speaker 2 (12:45):
Yes, And I remember it because we had our.

Speaker 1 (12:47):
Incredible We used to have this incredible camera operator Joe
Collins who's now a big deal DP and whenever he
was there, you just felt so taken care of. And
you know when you're in the relationship with the cameraman
because you're doing a complicated thing together and that's really
your scene partner. Yea. She always like that, like he
loved him so so much, and he always did the
steady cam and that's what we're doing there in the street,

(13:08):
the cobble students. I think I still have that coat
that I'm wearing.

Speaker 2 (13:11):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (13:11):
And I'm walking along with my straight part in the
middle hair which is very questionable but that's okay. And
I walk along and a very handsome man where I'm like,
why didn't we get this?

Speaker 2 (13:21):
But I know I was like where he's I know,
get him back, like Charlotte after him, but.

Speaker 1 (13:28):
You know, I don't for whatever reason. But I have
my hope again. And I love that so much because that.

Speaker 2 (13:32):
Is like you carry a lot of the hope in
this area.

Speaker 1 (13:35):
I do, and I'm glad because I also we needed it, Yes,
we needed it, and I needed it. I still needed
It's great. I'm happy for Charlotte. I love Charlotte. So
then we're back at the club skipper Miranda Oh. Then
we're back at Samantha's Oh, and we know she's crying
and he asks her why because when we have this

(13:57):
bathroom scene, we literally ask her can you talk to
him about it?

Speaker 2 (14:03):
Which I'm just like you no, We skipped over my
favorite line of yours.

Speaker 1 (14:07):
We did. Let's go back to the bathroom scene. So
it is inside the church. I don't know how I
magically get there, but I do, and we go inside
the set, this set, which was not actually at the Limelife.
I'm luckily there with them for this very momentous scene
where we discuss whether size matters, which people still ask
me about, which I find really annoying that people want
to ask me, Kristen, can I represent for all women

(14:29):
if size matters? Like it's the most pressured question. Let's
get let's not do that. But like on talk shows
people would ask me this like for years of course, like,
don't put this pressure on me people.

Speaker 2 (14:41):
I think that your response should be your response on
the show, which.

Speaker 1 (14:44):
Is how is he with this timeue? But the thing
I like that Charlotte says that because you really don't
see that coming from.

Speaker 2 (14:51):
Her, right, And it's great because it's like the back
and forth you haven't been included in and it's like
you just have that line at the end and maybe,
which is great, which is great.

Speaker 1 (14:59):
But the one thing I do I want to say
is that I also think that we should make some
space for the fact that that's not every woman's thing.

Speaker 2 (15:07):
The tongue. Yep, sure, no, it's definitely not.

Speaker 1 (15:10):
Because I do think that men think that that's what
every woman wants. You think, so I do think that,
Oh interesting, I could be I've never asked that question
of all the men in the world.

Speaker 2 (15:21):
Maybe we needed, maybe we need to do that. That
might be difficult to do.

Speaker 1 (15:25):
It would be interesting.

Speaker 2 (15:26):
Anyone man out there who's watching you let me.

Speaker 1 (15:29):
Know what you think. Yeah, because I feel like they think, like,
this is what that woman wants. And once I give
her that, then I've given her what she wants and
I can do whatever I want.

Speaker 2 (15:37):
We're gonna hear it in the comments.

Speaker 1 (15:38):
I hope we do. I hope I have mostly female feedback.
But you women, let me know if you think that
that's true. Yes, interesting, Okay, okay, great. So we all

(15:59):
in that very a long scene in the bathroom where
Samantha's fantastic Kim does a fantastic job where she because
she just has so many mixed feelings and she wishes
it didn't matter to her, but it does matter to her.
She's crying, crying, but it's funny, and then she's crying
having sex, but also like the fact that we literally
say to her, can you talk to him about it?

(16:20):
What would she?

Speaker 2 (16:21):
I know, I was thinking, like, what do you know?

Speaker 1 (16:24):
That would be mortifying? Don't talk about it? Definitely no,
but you know, we're just trying to figure something out, right, Yeah,
if you could talk to him about it, yeah, like yeah, no, no, yeah. Anyway,
she goes back, she's crying, and then she's like no,
and then he's like, what are you crying about.

Speaker 2 (16:42):
She's like, I'm just so happy.

Speaker 1 (16:43):
I know.

Speaker 2 (16:44):
It's so heartbreaking. It's so heartbreaking.

Speaker 1 (16:46):
Then, also in another heartbreaking way, we go back to
the club with Skipper and he literally tells Miranda that
he knew they would get back together because ever since
they've been apart, he lights a candle every night.

Speaker 2 (16:57):
So then when we get back together, I.

Speaker 1 (16:58):
Know, I I'm like, Skipper, Skipper, oh my god, you
don't have any idea who you're with.

Speaker 2 (17:07):
And she says something like you're a freak.

Speaker 1 (17:09):
I believe she says, which is adorable. I know, but
it's really cute. So then yes, poor Samantha crying, very
very sad. And then this is such a good scene.
We see Carrie waiting for Big to pick her up,
and she seems anxious, and she talks about how there's
a voice over and she it's not clear. It's not
clear how she's feeling, you know what I mean, Like,

(17:34):
it's not clear what she's gonna do. And she's so good,
you know, because she's anxious, but she's still already for
him to pick her up to go on a trip.
Then she goes down the street and he's like, get
in the car. We're gonna be late. She's like, no,
just put my things down. And you're like, oh God,
Like I was just feeling so nervous for her, and
she basically says she tries to get him to talk.
Of course he doesn't, and he's looking at her like
what is wrong with you, which is like what he

(17:55):
does the whole first season, And she says, just tell
me I'm the one. She kills me.

Speaker 2 (18:02):
I did wonder because she's she references them having dated
for some months. Yeah, it's a loaded question, like I
don't know, And so I almost felt like it was Listen,
did I make for a great finale ending? Yeah, it
made for a fantastic ending, But when I put it
in terms of like real life. The question that popped

(18:26):
up in my mind is when is it appropriate to
ask like timing wise?

Speaker 1 (18:31):
But it was totally appropriate. I'll tell you why, Okay, Tom,
There was this episode couple before where she It starts
with them walking down a crowded in New York street
and then like holding each other and laughing and then
they kiss.

Speaker 2 (18:43):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (18:44):
She talks about how in a city of seven million
people that it sometimes feels good to stand still with
one person. Oh yeah, she's there then emotionally, and she
hasn't seen us in like a week, like eight days.
She's just been hold up with him for eight days.
And as I said to Oliver Hudson, if I was
hold up with a guy for eight days, which I
can't even imagine because I have two children, right, Like,

(19:04):
how would that work? They would be without food, you
know what I mean. So probably wouldn't happened now. But
in my youth, if I've been hold up with the
guy for eight solid days, I would be thinking we
were in a thing for real.

Speaker 2 (19:18):
Yeah, but she's not asking are we in a thing?
She's asking him by the one.

Speaker 1 (19:22):
It's true, but I'm saying that was a couple months ago, right,
because if you think of like episodes.

Speaker 2 (19:26):
Or no, no, no, I don't have an answer to it. It
just was something that like I started thinking about right when,
I'd be interested to hear from your listeners, like when
is when do you think that you can appropriately ask
that question?

Speaker 1 (19:41):
I mean listen. I would argue that it's probably never
an inappropriate question to ask and inappropriate. Yeah, I think
it's an inappropriate question. Oh you do. Yes, I would
never ask a person that question in a million hundred years. One.
I don't totally believe in the one meaning only one,
the one, Okay, I wouldn't ask somebody that question.

Speaker 2 (20:02):
You would not know.

Speaker 1 (20:03):
I would be waiting for them to show me, show me.
I don't even care about words. I always feel like
words are manipulent.

Speaker 2 (20:09):
So true, you know. I like that answer. I want
to say you're the one.

Speaker 1 (20:13):
Yeah, yes, you do agree. I mean, I do get that.
There are times in relationships I wouldn't say that this
is the time and the Carrie Big because you feel
like it's it's more about how you feel right, And
I feel like for her, what she was saying is
I'm here now, I'm this is true for me, so
I need to know if it's defense.

Speaker 2 (20:33):
And I can't even believe I just said that. I
think it gave me like a little bit of indigestion
to be honest to say that in Bigg's defense, not
everyone's on the same time. Sure, so even though she's there, Yeah,
is it fair to be like I'm the one? However,
it is fair if she's okay to lose him on it.

Speaker 1 (20:52):
I think, in my mind, this is Carrie getting to
the end of her rope of having to work so
fucking hard, because all I see when I look at
the episodes of the first season is that she's just like,
what do I do?

Speaker 2 (21:04):
What I do? The whole series?

Speaker 1 (21:05):
I know, well, let's hope, not oh my god.

Speaker 2 (21:08):
All of sex this No, not well, don't don't you?
I mean when I know, I don't know. Okay, listen,
I haven't gone back and watched the episodes, but my
general opinion is that she I mean, listen, I'm thinking
of the wedding day when you're hitting it like it
was her.

Speaker 1 (21:26):
He was a good point to get the get down
the aisle. That's true, and Kim, Okay, let's just say that,
but let's also say in the end because people listening,
it's not like we're giving something away. It does work out, right,
but it's a very difficult road to get there. But
maybe that was what those people needed to go through.

(21:48):
I don't know, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (21:50):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (21:50):
I mean, I don't know. Wat oh, let me tell
you of it. You can come back and join me
you want. But it's a lot, and obviously there's other
people that come in the mix for both of them,
which you know makes sense.

Speaker 2 (22:02):
But I also feel.

Speaker 1 (22:03):
Like, in some ways, I unfortunately do feel like that's
true to life. Like there might be that person where
you feel like they're the one and maybe they tell
you that you're the one, and then maybe circumstances intervene
and it doesn't work out, and it's really sad.

Speaker 2 (22:20):
I'm gonna say a bold thing.

Speaker 1 (22:22):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (22:23):
I don't think Carrie Bradshaw has found the great love
of her life yet. Hallelujah.

Speaker 1 (22:30):
Let's hope she does, right.

Speaker 2 (22:33):
I don't think she's.

Speaker 1 (22:34):
Not him yet.

Speaker 2 (22:35):
Good, let's it done. That's a good thing.

Speaker 1 (22:39):
I think that's a good thing because she had But
I'm sure.

Speaker 2 (22:41):
Some people think that it's aiden or big and but
for me.

Speaker 1 (22:44):
Different people have their their feelings, and definitely I think
that Carrie would tell you that Big is and was
the big love of her life and that she's happy
that she had it. Do you know what I'm saying?
Because in the end of their story, which obviously people
who watch the show still know this, she loses him
from circumstances in life, not from her. Yeah, yea, not

(23:07):
for a relationship reason. And she does feel like at
least I had it the great love. I think she
doesn't know how good it could be. Oh God, have
you watched him just like that?

Speaker 2 (23:19):
No, I haven't watched it yet.

Speaker 1 (23:20):
Got It, got It, got It, got It, got It.

Speaker 2 (23:23):
Why Why would would this change what I'm saying? I
think so in what way? Because I do.

Speaker 1 (23:29):
Feel like she knows how good it could be by
the time they get to where they're going. It just
takes a very long time to get there.

Speaker 2 (23:35):
Like in the end with him.

Speaker 1 (23:36):
Uh huh.

Speaker 2 (23:37):
Oh, I watched her first season. I did watch your
first season of the show.

Speaker 1 (23:40):
Uh huh. You didn't feel you didn't feel that she
knew how good it could be.

Speaker 2 (23:45):
No, I don't think that she knows. I think it
can be better.

Speaker 1 (23:48):
Well, that's really good for you in your life that
you feel this way.

Speaker 2 (23:51):
I do because I just I feel like I feel
like she always loved him a little bit more.

Speaker 1 (23:57):
Oh my god, my god, gonna have to think about
this now, I'm gonna have to think about this.

Speaker 2 (24:02):
Do you guys agree? Can we ask the Peanut Gallery?
Do you think that Carrie Bradshaw loves.

Speaker 1 (24:07):
Big more than Big love Kerry Bradshaw. Oh my god,
it's a consensus.

Speaker 2 (24:14):
In Peanut Gallery.

Speaker 1 (24:15):
I would never cut the Peanut Gallery out. I love them.

Speaker 2 (24:17):
But let me ask you this though, Is that so horrible?

Speaker 1 (24:21):
Like? Isn't it true that in relationships somebody might love
the other person more than the other person loves them.

Speaker 2 (24:26):
Oh my god, I hate that idea. Okay, I really
hate that.

Speaker 1 (24:29):
I'm not married, so you know, give me some good marriage.

Speaker 2 (24:33):
So pissed? If I love my.

Speaker 1 (24:36):
I would already know, wouldn't you already know? You've been
married for quite a while? Right?

Speaker 2 (24:40):
How long? How long? Tell us?

Speaker 1 (24:42):
Well?

Speaker 2 (24:43):
Even together for thirteen years A long time, A long time?
So you have two kids? Is it nice? Even evenly?
It feels even to me. I'm gonna listen, I'm heading home,
and I'm gonna ask him. That's gonna be the first
question I walk through the door. Yeah, yeah, we're back.

Speaker 1 (24:57):
I need to know. I need to know.

Speaker 2 (24:58):
Well, I mean, if he says, no, you definitely love
me more, that's gonna be an issue. What if he
says I love you more than you love me, then
I would be so much like, no, I love you know.
I think it's it feels very it feels very equal,
and I think actually that's what feels very peaceful about.

Speaker 1 (25:18):
Oh that's so nice.

Speaker 2 (25:21):
And I don't feel like she's had that yet. No,
it might be like Aiden has always had a thing
for Carrie more than Carrie has for Aiden.

Speaker 1 (25:28):
We need to find that the equal footing. Well, manally,
there's gonna be there's gonna be some interesting developments. There's
gonna be some interesting developments. But anyway, what I really
love when she's on the sidewalk because they're going to
go on this trip, and of course he thinks that
everything's hunky dory, right, and then she says, I love you,
but I can't, which just killed me. And then he says,

(25:51):
so that's it, like in his kind of jerky way,
and I'm like, get out, okay, get out. Then she
says in her voice over, she cried for a week,
and then she's as she does have faith faith in herself, yeah,
and that one day she would meet someone who would
be sure I was the one yeah, Which is interesting

(26:12):
because I would have loved it to just say I
do have faith faith in myself. I would have just
ended it there, do you know what I mean? But
she's still on, She's still on the search, She's still
I think the.

Speaker 2 (26:25):
Truth is though that, like probably you know a lot
of people, you can be both things can be true,
you can be the independent person at the same time,
I think it's just human beings. We're looking for a love.

Speaker 1 (26:37):
I agree with you. I mean, people had a lot
to say when we were talking about Big at the
beginning of the show, because it has been this kind
of shock for me to relok at Big, right, and
I was like, oh, he's so awful, blah blah blah
blah blah. And people on the social media were like,
they don't want love man like that, And I'm like,
everyone wants love, don't they every I think.

Speaker 2 (26:58):
Big wants love in the on the terms that he
wants it.

Speaker 1 (27:03):
Right, but we know that he marries what he considers
to be an easier, picture perfect version of love, and
then he it doesn't work out.

Speaker 2 (27:13):
Yes, but I still feel like it's all on like this.
I feel like this romance is so much on his terms,
but I need to go right. I'm just saying.

Speaker 1 (27:21):
He also has his journey of trying out this other
thing that he thinks is going to be great, and
then it doesn't work out, and then he comes back
to complicated kerry relationship, which is interesting. It's just interesting, I.

Speaker 2 (27:32):
Mean, relateships interesting, sucked in what we ever have.

Speaker 1 (27:37):
To to write about or anything.

Speaker 2 (27:40):
So I think I'm done with the rewatching part general.

Speaker 1 (27:44):
Oh my god, you're amazing.

Speaker 2 (27:47):
I love it so easy, no joy, I loved it,
and I love like it was. It was honestly like
going back in time for me too, And I've gotten
so nostalgic and like I said, the excuse to not
have to bathe my kids last night cours my housband
to do both of them.

Speaker 1 (28:02):
Listen, let me be of help in any way, you
know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (28:05):
Yeah, No, I listened on the night before podcasts.

Speaker 1 (28:07):
I'm like, you, guys, you got to get in bed
because there's no one else to bathe them right, So
I have to do the things where I'm like, you
got to hurry.

Speaker 2 (28:12):
It up because I got to rewatch the show.

Speaker 1 (28:14):
Yeah, got to rewatch the show.

Speaker 2 (28:16):
It's good homework.

Speaker 1 (28:17):
It is. It's nice homework. I always feel guilty asking
people to rewatch, and everyone tells me that I need
to stop feeling guilty.

Speaker 2 (28:22):
No, it was so fun.

Speaker 1 (28:23):
Thank you, good, good, good.

Speaker 2 (28:25):
Thankanks for trying me.

Speaker 1 (28:26):
It's a joy on our couch. You guys should move
in here too, I think so. I like Capshaw.

Speaker 2 (28:32):
No, she can come.

Speaker 1 (28:34):
Rewatch also, okay, she would together. She was so much fun.

Speaker 2 (28:38):
Oh my god, it would be so much fun.

Speaker 1 (28:40):
I know.

Speaker 2 (28:40):
I want to have multiple I want to have like
a group rewatched. We should have Jessica on when she's
in town and come back.

Speaker 1 (28:46):
That'd be great. Okay, got to be great. Thanks Camilla,
thank you. Have a great day.
