What was your theme for the show.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
This isn't going to work anymore. I can feel it
the country. Yes, yeah, this is not This is not
like clickbait or just the story of the day or
hyperbole or whatever. No things are off the rails. I
opened the show by pointing out that I've long had

a pretty decent sense of when a relationship or a band,
or a friendship or something. Hmm, this is not going
to work. I can see that now, and I feel
that way about the country now. My usual encouraging note
when we get into a topic like this is you
can have a very happy life. You can make money,

you can have wonderful friendships, glorious sex, whatever you like.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
Glorious. Even that was glorious, Honey, I was glorious.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
Dear, in times of chaos and decline, you are not
the economy. You are not quote unquote the culture. Go
have a wonderful life, a happy life, a good life.
But can this relationship be saved? No?

Speaker 1 (01:17):
It can't. Wow, all right, let's all just behave as.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
Adults, divide up the stuff and start the Conservative States
of America and woke a Toopia, and you know, we'll
get together in ten years and see who's doing better.
I'm feeling pretty good about our chances or anyway.

I know who's going to be out of money.
