Speaker 1 (00:00):
So we played this girl yesterday and got quite a
minute a commentary. Listen the way she talks here.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
How many tenders are there? It's a spectrum, So like Alah,
that makes my skinned girl.

Speaker 3 (00:17):
I don't even know how she makes that noise?

Speaker 1 (00:19):
Is there a name for that kind of talking? Is
that vocal fryar valley girl or a combo of the
two or I don't know.

Speaker 3 (00:25):
Yes, like you know Asian fusion cooking. It's a couple
of different things going on there.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
So like Aliah, wow, Alah, it sounds like.

Speaker 3 (00:39):
She's speaking while gargling peanut butter. It's difficult. Again, how
do you make that noise with your throat?

Speaker 1 (00:45):
Well, I have somebody in my orbit who talks that way,
a college aged girl. And it looks hard to do.
It looks like it requires physical effort, Like really, I
would It looks just watching it, it looks like something
you want to do to be in a certain social circle,
like wearing high heels. It'd be like something you want
to do for a while and then you think, on

(01:06):
my feet hurt, I'm gonna take them off. It seems
I could be like that. Am I talking a lot
for a while and then okay, I gotta go back
to my normal ways to hurt my throat. We got
this test.

Speaker 3 (01:18):
Something incredibly off putting about that. Yeah, oh god, I
would say. I mean, even when you did it, I
got that same skin crawling feeling. But I'm a high
school teacher. As a high school teacher, guess how many
girls talk like that? You're right, a lot, she throws
in the up, talking like asking a question thing as well,

(01:40):
Jeff and San Jose.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
So this is a Bay area high school teacher. So
I guess if it's gonna be anywhere in the country
where lots of high school girls are talking that way,
it'd be the Bay Area of California.

Speaker 3 (01:51):
San Fernando Valley. Yeah, she is play one more time.
I think we may in the presence of greatness here this,
this young girl has managed to incorporate virtually every annoying
verbal tick known to the American mind, plus the substance

(02:12):
of what she said, because she was asked how many
genders there are and she said alaw so like a
throwing us alike as well, got a solich in there.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
You're right, Yeah, there's there's a lot of what I
wonder what she looked like this is the yo yo
ma of annoying speech. God dang it. Sorry about that.
I know we annoyed a lot of people with that clip.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
