(00:27):
I want to all of you to get up out
of your chest, go to the window. Open it. We'll
stick your head out of here. We are into at
the window. Here the Sports Grid TV Network. I am

(00:47):
Seawn Guassamakia Joe Raneri in South Florida. Good to have
you aboard, Joe, and I want to start with the
breaking news of a couple of hours ago in the NBA,
and that is Kenny Atkinson out as nets Head basketball fall.
Kind of a surprise news with the timing of the matter. Joe,
what do you make of this news coming out of Brooklyn?

(01:09):
You know, it just seems ironic to me. You go out,
you signed Kyrie Irving, you signed Kevin Durant in the
off season. This was a team that many people thought
was on the on the rise. Anyway, becausup Kenny Atkinson,
and then all of a sudden, you bring in these
two divas. One guy ain't gonna play until next year.
We don't know what he's gonna be like. Another guy
came back for eighteen games and just completely threw chaos

(01:33):
into the locker room. And now the coach has gone.
You tell me behind the scenes, who's actually pulling the
strings here. They said there were some players that didn't
like them or had an issue with them, and they
wanted him out. I don't buy it. I think there's
one or two players that didn't want him and that's
why he's out. Yeah. Anthony Puccio, who we've had on

(01:54):
the morning after before nets beat guy covered the team.
He reported that a few of the players we're not
I guess in the corner for Kenny Atkinson, it's not
a surprise. If Kyrie and Kevin Durant, the two big
stars Joe, as you alluded to, if they wanted Kenny
Atkinson to be their head coach, he would still be
here today. But that being said, are they really losing

(02:16):
a great coach anyway? I mean, what's Kenny Atkinson as
a coach? I mean, is he's not pat Riley. No, no, no,
And then what was he in his fourth season as
the head coach. The team had come a long way
from where he started to where they were with a
lot of changes in the future looking bright. And why
do it now? I don't understand the concept of doing

(02:38):
it now either? What's you just beat the Spurs? You
blow the doors off the spires last night? I don't
It wasn't like they got embarrassed, Like why now? I
don't understand the timing either. Yeah, it's kind of curious
as to the timing of the whole matter. Just wait
till after the season. They're gonna be bounced in the
first round, regardless, did the seventh seed right now that
they're not winning the first round matchup? Did dropped to

(03:00):
the eight? See the way Orlando is playing. If that happens,
they're they're not beating the Bucks. So it is surprising
that they waited. Uh that the timing of the whole matter.
But that being as it may, let's talk some college basketball.
A lot of games starting right now Eastern time window.
Being unemployed for long though, I can tell you that
Kenny Atkinson will have a job. Rather, he'll be back

(03:21):
in the NBA coaching somewhere next year at Joe jacque
Vaughan is the interim head coach. He's not gonna be
the permanent head coach, is the way he sees staying there. Um,
and you're you know, it's a player's league in the NBA.
We we've seen this before, Luke Walton with the Lakers,
Lebron wanting him gone. We've seen it before with Lebron
and Cleveland, David Blatt gone. It happens all the time.

(03:41):
Magic Johnson back in the day, Michael Jordan's supposedly didn't
like Doug Collins. You know, there's back and forth with that,
but ultimately the star players, they get who they want
as the head coach. But moving on to college basketball, Joe,
let's run the tip drill. There's some twelve pm Eastern
time game starting up, the one I'm looking at right now,
Wisconsin Indiana. If you want to real quick handicap this

(04:01):
one for us, I have no idea. I don't. I
don't understand this line. I didn't. I jumped all over it.
If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. But how in the hell
can you give Wisconsin three points in this game when
they have a lot to play for in Indiana, including
a share of the Big Ten title. Like, I don't
understand where this line is coming from outside of people

(04:25):
trying to get all caught up with Indiana at home.
It's it's senior Day and all of that. I don't
get it. To me, the Hoosiers lost the Wisconsin back
in December seven, and I don't understand what exactly three
months later, I don't get it. They're fifteen and three
at home. I understand that, but the Wisconsin team has
absolutely been on a roll here. There's no reason why

(04:47):
this Wisconsin team should be a three point underdog. I'm
all over Wisconsin. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. But I
think there's a lot of teams that are getting points
today that should not be getting points because it's the
last day of the regular season. I don't buy it.
Better is better, Wisconsin is a better team. They're gonna
win this game now. I'm sure you listen to Scott

(05:08):
Farrell on the bench four to six from Eastern time.
Indiana alone went there. He's he worked there. He doesn't
believe that Indiana deserves to be in the NT double
A Tournament now if they were to lose this game
as we expect to Wisconsin or some expect uh Indiana.
They are on the bubble. Are they in danger of
visiting the NT double A tournament? Joe Listen, Wisconsin made

(05:31):
a switch. You know what's happened. Obviously, we know they're
good at home Indiana, right and they've shown that they've
lost some big games, though if they would have one,
we'd be having a different conversation right now. But Wisconsin
went to Mika Potta as there as their point guard.
And the minute that they did that, Um, they've been
eleven seven and two against the number with him. Um.

(05:53):
And I gotta tell you the that change in offense.
And we know Wisconsin plays at a snail's pace. It's
like watch paint dry. But you can tell the energy
that that kid ended up bringing to that lineup. They
figured it out. They've been on fire over the last
couple of weeks. And again there's something to play for
here in the Big ten standing, so they have an
opportunity here to get a share of of a title

(06:16):
and they're gonna want that. While Indiana there four games
below Wisconsin and standings, why are we giving them three points?
I don't understand it. I can't wait and see how
this plays out right now. It's a good game, and
I'm all over Wisconsin the way they've been playing in
the Big Ten, for sure. But as for Indiana, they
do have five quad one wins. They should be in

(06:37):
the tournament the way the Big Ten has performed this season.
I know Jared Smith just on uh yeah, five minutes
ago here thinks the Big Ten is the best conference
in college basketball. Now, I mean, you can debate that,
but I'm in his camp there and I'm a little biased,
but I think they are. But top to bottom they
have some dog teams. Will get me wrong with Nebraska Northwestern,
but yeah, I mean they have a firm what ten

(06:59):
teams could make the n C double A tourna. I
think Indiana is firmly in there, but should be Again,
how about Albert Tennessee, Joe, you give Tennessee a chance
in this one? They're at home. The spreads just two
and a half. Tennessee's favorite in this game. Yeah again,
don I listen. Current forum excluded here. Auburn has been
trash here over the last couple of weeks. Bruce Parl

(07:21):
and company has got to figure something out. They have
to win this game to get some momentum going into
the SEC tournament and beyond. I mean, it's not a
terrible season. Eleven and six, I think in the in
the SEC this year. The problem with Auburn is that
they've kind of lived and died by the three pointers
and they just haven't been falling recently. But I'm not

(07:43):
buying Tennessee. Tennessee has won a couple of games as
of late. Of course, you know they came back and
one last game everyone's jumping up and down all Tennessee's back.
I'm not buying Tennessee at all. I think this is
a game where the better team is getting points again today,
and the better team, let's face it, they need something good.
What losers of three straight. They've got to go ahead

(08:04):
and get back on the winning track here, and I
think bring Bruce Pearl knows it, he'll have those kids
ready to play here today. Plus a Coro has gotta
be the best player on the court today for Auburn.
So I like Auburn. Give me the points. Absolutely. Yeah.
Curious as to why that line is the way it
is here, the one one other one before we get
going on the NBA here Villanova Georgetown eight and a

(08:26):
half point favorites of Villanova playing for the Big East Championship,
one game behind seat in the hall. But it's coming
down to the last day of the regular season here
or last weekend rather. How big and how important do
you think that is to Villanova? I don't really know
what you know? Like a game. Marenzi was talking about
how no one remembers the the regular season conference champions

(08:47):
They remember the n C double a champion, right and
and I agree with that. So I don't know how
much motivation is on the line to win the Big
East Championship. But they need some help anyway. But that
being said, eight and a half point favorites Georgetown. Patch
Young has done a great job this year under the circumstances.
The team's not gonna make the tournament, but they could
easily win this basketball game. Eight and a half point spread.

(09:08):
Is that too large for you with the Wildcats today? No,
I think this is gonna be a blowout Georgetown. Listen.
I give Patrick doing a lot of credit, but it's
a it's a program in in restructuring right now. All
your best players transferred or quit or moved on Uh,
and it happened early on in this season. The fact
that they're fifteen and fifteen. I think it's an amazing

(09:30):
accomplishment for this Georgetown team. Is Jay Wright has those rings?
All right? Jay Wright does not want to lose to
a Georgetown team. Is the last game with that being
recencly biased, the last thing in your mind. He knows this.
He's got a very young team. He's got four freshmen
starting in the rotation for him, he needs a win

(09:50):
heading into the tournament, not a loss against the team
that they were an eight point favorite over. They're gonna
bring it here today. They're gonna win this game. Big Yeah,
I'm with you on that one. With Villanova a sneaky
team to to watch out for. Uh it come tournament time,
they could definitely easily make the final four with the
pedigree that you just spoke to and in the balance

(10:12):
scoring they have on that squad. Alright, Joe, Uh. Some
of the games tipping off later on, we'll get to
the UK Florida is a big one. Baylor West Virginia
another big one. That's at one pm Eastern time. We
have a few minutes before we get into that. Uh.
Your thoughts though on last night the NBA, I wanted
to get your thoughts in the first segment on what
happened with the Lakers beating the Bucks. Lakers are a

(10:36):
good team. I mean, you know that's if you didn't
know about going into that game last night. I don't
know what the title to where you ban or what
rock you've been under, But the Lakers at home after
since I after they All Star break as well, they
were fully healthy last night and right now they're catching
their groove. They are in the groove. While Milwaukee, and

(10:56):
if you've been paying attention to Budden Holes or and
what Milwaukee does walkie after the All Star break in
the second half of the season, guys look at their record,
it's abysmal, and it's abysmal because what they do is
they come out of the gate and boat race everybody
in the first half of the season, right so then
they just go to coast mode in the second half.
It is an absolute indicator with Budenholzer. Milwaukee did the

(11:19):
same thing last year that the minute the second half came,
they kind of slowed down. They kind of push it back.
Then they're gonna rev it up with about two weeks
left to go into season into the playoffs. It's classic
Milwaukee Bucks and Budden Holes. There doesn't surprise me at all.
You should have had the Lakers at minus the money
line last night. Could could bet there, Joe and be

(11:43):
honest the odds on favorites to win the most Valuable
Player in the NBA. Does Lebron James have a prayer
as far as that's concerned. Is it good money to
put some a little wager on that. We'll talk about
that more NBA accents of college basketball when we returned
to the Window on the sports Gride TV network. I

Welcome back to at the Window Saturday edition here on

(12:55):
the Sports Grade TV Network. Pluttle TV Channel five seventeen.
I am Sean gassamaka Joe an Area with me Joe,
we mentioned the Lakers and the Bucks and how smart
play was Lakers moneyline. Lebron James another great performance. He's
leading the NBA and assists at ten point seven, having
another fantastic gear at thirty five years old, very impressive.

(13:15):
Lakers just thirteen losses but the Bucks ten losses now
on the season, They've been the runaway favorite all this
season long as far as best records concerned. Three game
league looks like they'll they'll win that. But Janice has
been the runaway favorite. To win the m v P
of the NBA right now on FANDOL sports book minus
seven fifty. But Lebron James is closing is a plus

(13:38):
eight hundred, so eight to one right now. It was
ten to one like a week ago, So he's closing
the gap. Joe Kenny closed the gap enough and win
the m v P of the n b A And
would it be a smart play to put a little
sprinkle on that right now? No, it won't happen, and
I'll tell you why it won't happen. But this is

(14:00):
a very similar argument that we've made for years with
Michael Jordan's. Michael Jordan's, every year he was in his
prime stepped on the court, was the best? Was the
m v P of the NBA? I don't and he
there were monster names in the NBA during his generation,
all right, every year he was the m v P
bar none. The problem was he didn't win it every year.

(14:22):
Why while he had a lot of really good supporting
cast members, including the best number two ever in Scottie Pippen. Well,
that's exactly what Lebron has. We've seen Lebron without that
big name number two this year. Anthony Davis, right, didn't
look so good last year, looks really good this year?
Sure it does. But you tell me you've got Janice there,

(14:45):
who's on the team that's gonna have the best record
in the NBA this regular season? And what happens if
Janice goes down? Is that team even remotely close to
the same thing as out there? Hell no, they ain't
gonna win seventy games without him. So to may the
arguments a little bit different. Michael could have wanted Lebron
every year. You could have made up You can make

(15:05):
an argument is the most valuable. But in this particular case,
you pull Janice off of Milwaukee, and you pull Lebron
off of the Lakers, they still got a d. You
you you like Chris Middleton that much, you think he's
gonna lead them to a to a championship. Oh hell, no,
is the m v P. It's not. It's not happening.
I'm with you. I'm with you on that show. But

(15:27):
I think there's an argument to be made for Lebron.
But I think you honestly just too far ahead at
this point for Lebron to come back. I'm and you're right.
I like that. The point that you made with Jordan's
Carmelon won two m vps. Jordan did not like that
in the late nineties because he felt he was the
m v P. But like you said, he they didn't
want to give it to every year, and kr Malone

(15:48):
had great stats, the team was doing well with to
the finals, but did not win it every year. And
this is the case with Janice putting up his great stats,
that he's putting up thirty points per game, close to
fourteen rebounds per game, and then number one seed in
the East by far. So yeah, it's very impressive what
Jhannest is doing this year. Yeah, you can. You can
certainly make the the argument either way, and we can

(16:11):
do it. We've been doing that for years. You can
make the argument either way for years, and we're gonna
keep making that argument every time Lebron plays at a
high level and he's listener, dude, is better? How many
finals like that? That's there's always an argument for Lebron always.
But I think Janice just is that a cut above
because of the supporting cast. You have to take that
into consideration. Without Johannese, Milwaukee is not coming close to

(16:33):
winning seven games, seventy games? Alright, Joe, I agree, no,
nod Alright, let's go to the NBA Championship there, Joe,
Let's let's let's talk NBA Championship right A Caesar's. Caesar's
came out yesterday. They made the Bucks and Lakers co
favorites to win the NBA Championship. Findel has it a
little differently. They have the Bucks is the favorite plus

(16:54):
two thirty Lakers plus three hundred three to one. There
Bucks Lakers or feel would you bet on the field
right now? NBA Championship? So outside the Lakers in the Bucks. Yes, yes,
I would, and I would because I think the Clippers
on the team that are are gonna make it there. Yeah,
I think the Clippers are gonna be the team in
the West that are gonna come out for sure. As

(17:17):
much as I love you know, listen, I love the Lakers.
I love what they've done, but the reality is, you know,
it just has not. You are not getting passed Kawai
Leonard and how stacked that team is and continues to
get stacked, death to me is going to be the
difference maker. It always is in the playoffs. Coming out
of the West, you better have some depth and right

(17:38):
now the Clippers having in spades, there is absolutely no
way you're gonna to be able to make it through
the playoff. If one person goes down and that's starting
rotation for the Lakers, it's gonna be a rough goal
of it. I do think the Clippers have the edge
when it comes to depth, second unit, the ability to
shut down on defense. I think the Clippers are the

(17:59):
ones coming out of the West. And as far as
your honest goes, listen, everything teams like Miami have done
and others in the making moves by the trade deadline.
Everybody is gunning, including the defending champion, you know Toronto Raptors,
who have done an amazing job. Everybody hurt here missing
double digit game starters have missed more than bean ten

(18:21):
games across the board, and they still have forty some
odd wins. So I think it's a lot tougher for
Milwaukee than people are giving it credit for. So I
I would grab the field in that scenario. Me I
don't know if I would. I think the Lakers are Bucks,
one of the two teams are gonna win the NBA Championship.

(18:41):
I think the Books will get to the finals. I
don't see anyone in the East stopping them. That's Raptors included.
We did see Raptors there one on that board. Great
value for a team that has the pedigree minus Kawhi
Leonard obviously this year, but they still have Lowry the FCO,
and they still have Marcasol and then they Van Vleet.
They have like basically the whole team, although than Kawhi

(19:02):
Leonard from last year. So so yeah, I I don't
wanna kind of overlook them, But I still think the
Bucks a year more of of experience, and you honest
You're right. He was banged up. He was banged up.
They beat him up in the playoffs last season, and
yesterday Lebron kind of beat him up a little bit too.
Although he did get his points, he gets his mark.
So that's something to look look to. And that's definitely

(19:23):
a concern. But I do like the Bucks to get
out of the East. But in the West, as you said, clippers,
the Clippers can give the Lakers to go. What about
the Rockets though, Joe micro Ball, I don't know if
it's working too well. What's up, buddy, I don't know
if it's working too well. The small ball there in Houston.
Do you give them a chance to get out of
the West? I know the answer to this, so I
should rephrase it. But what do you make of Darryl

(19:45):
Morey and what they're doing there in Houston? I love
and and this is something you gotta appreciate. I love
the commitment Daryl Murray and the Houston Rockets made here
and this is you know, say what you want about him,
the truth they is. They have the numbers, they have
their style, they have their philosophy, and they went balls
to the wall with it. They went all in they

(20:07):
pushed the chips in the middle of the damn table.
They didn't that. That's it. This is who we're gonna be,
and we're going forward, win or lose. They are giving
it everything they have, and you know what, I appreciate that,
because there is nothing worse than a team riding defense,
trying to be all things to all people. Houston says,
this is the way we're gonna do it. This is

(20:27):
how we're built. Win or lose, this is what we're doing.
I applaud them for doing it that way. It's not
gonna win, not in the playoffs, you know, because at
some point you're either gonna win by twenty five points
or lose by twenty five points. That's the Houston Rockets.
If they're shooting thirty eight percent or higher in three
point range during these games, they're going to win by twenty.

(20:50):
If they shoot eight team percent, they're gonna lose by thirty.
That's you're living and dying by the shot there. So
if Harden goes on a stretch, yeah, it's gonna be
very hard to beat the Houston Rockets. I'm banking on
that not happening, though, there is going to be a
stretch of time, a couple of games where they're just
not going to be able to shoot over and that's

(21:10):
gonna be their downfall. And Joe we we failed to
mention though it's a seven game series, so Houston just
has to win four right out of the seven. They
don't have to win every game where So Yeah, but
it also works against them too. They if they're not on,
you know, as they they are sometimes are not with
James That's right, that is and you're right, you're right,

(21:36):
Like they had no choice really, I mean, Clint Capella
put him back in the lineup. Are they beating the Lakers?
Are they beating the Clippers? Chances are there not? So
I do admire what they did. All all in exactly,
Joe all in there. How about the Celtics, we we
have not mentioned them. Jason tam having a great season
there in the Eastern Conference. With the season, what do
you make of their chances to get out of the East.

(22:00):
I'm not sold on Boston. I think Boston should have
went out, should have done something to add a big
man somewhere along the line there in the process from
last year. Listen, Tatum is is a superstar to making
here guys. Absolutely, Um, you know, love Gordon Hayward. You
know when he's healthy, Marcus Smart. I mean, they've got

(22:22):
they've got a nice compliment of players. I just think,
like you said, best of seven, in a long ass
playoff series, where teams are bigger, they have more depth,
they're gonna be a little bit stronger. Not nearly as Finesse.
You're you're gonna have trouble past the first round of
the of the Eastern Conference finals, I think, and uh,

(22:42):
you know, teams like Philadelphia, there's a reason why Philadelphia
has own there is Philadelphia can't be anybody else, but
they can beat Boston. Why. They're longer, they're more athletic,
they're they're they're bigger, and they can beat them on
the boards. That matters. And that's why I think they're
just they're built to win a lot of games during
the regular season. I don't know that they're built to
make it through the through the Eastern Conference playoffs because

(23:05):
of the size and the advantage that teams like Milwaukee,
Philadelphia and Miami have over them. Yeah, it's gonna be
a real interesting playoff series there when Boston's involved, to
see what they can do if they can pick off
one of the big guys. Pick off the Celtics, can
I mean pick off the Bucks can? Can they possibly
Brad Stevens. We've been hearing about Brad Stevens forever, Joe

(23:28):
and and and he had good playoff runs before where
he out coached the opposing coach. Let's it's on him
now now he has to do that. When it comes
to the Milwaukee Bucks, we didn't really talk about the
seventy sixers. I think you kind of alluded to it there.
I mean that they have a lot of problems. They're
a matchup nightmare for some teams. I mean, trusty they
are when Simmons and beat are in the lineup and healthy,

(23:51):
and you got Harford and you got Tobias Harris jump
and shot listen, they are a matchup nightwhere because of
their size, their defense, their athleticism, the way they can
dominate boards. Yes, but the problem is that there are
teams that are built to be able to give them fits.
Teams like you know, Miami teams like Milwaukee, teams like Toronto,

(24:12):
they're gonna out physical them. They're not going to be
you know, the longest, the toughest people on the court,
and that's always a problem with Philadelphia. They they match
up well against some but not others. Al Right, Joe,
we'll leave it there. When we come back NFL Free
Agency heating off. We have a game we like to

(25:25):
great job there at Studio thirty four in Midtown Manhattan.
I am Unassamakia Jordary with me here on at the
window on the Sports Grade TV network. Joe, you missed
it last week and I think we most of us did,
but we debuted a new segment we like to call it,
would you hit that now? Before you go and think
about why don't you ready, before you go and think

(25:47):
about what we're gonna talk about? You know, yeah, exactly.
You're in South Florida, man, I'm sure you you have
a high of ut I guess possibilities well even at there,
but we're talking sports betting of course, right and proposition
bets all right there, Joe alright started to disappoint you though.

(26:08):
Tom Brady free agency. Vanduel has a great prop where
will Tom Brady quarterback Week one? Twenty right? And they
also have Philip Rivers, Teddy Bridge Water as well. We'll
get to them all, but let's talk about tom Brady first.
There's a prop where he will quarterback week one? Then
we could put put that prop up. We have, we

(26:30):
have the board there. But there's talk Joe of San Francisco,
tom Brady's hometown, trade Jimmy Garoppolo to to New England.
I know exactly how that would work out with Tom
Brady being a free agent there, but there's talk that
he might join the forty Niners. The Tennessee Titans. Joe,
there was talk that held hook up with his former

(26:51):
teammate Mike Rabel. He was at a Syracuse game Tom
Brady with Julian Edelman front row and guess who he
was face timing with. Yes, Mike Rabel of the Tennessee Titans.
They were talking last week at the game, Joe, would
it be smart right now? Would you hit that other
than the Patriots on Fendal Sports Book, a team other

(27:13):
than the Patriots for Tom Brady two quarterback Week one?
Would you hit that problem? Absolutely not you guys. Let
me explain something to you here, guys. This is this
is a classic suckers bet if there's ever been one
on the board. Think about this. This entire bet is

(27:37):
influenced by what you hear in the media, and the
media is going to influence the public perception of what's
going on with Tom Brady, and in turn, what's gonna
happen is the public is going to influence what the
oddsmakers do because they're gonna go out and and wishful thinking.
They're gonna go Titans, They're gonna go forty nine, They're

(27:58):
gonna go They're gonna use every re bias in the
world to make a betting decision on this prop bet.
The answer is the Patriots. That is where he's going
forty three years old, Guys, I'm telling you right now,
I don't like waking up and not being able to
find my toothbrush if it's not in the same damn
spot I left it the night before. Tom Brady is

(28:20):
not walking into a damn new system with new coordinators
new He's not at forty three years old, guys, he's not.
Tom Brady is a guy that likes the things the
way he likes him He's got it. It's what he's
always known in the NFL with the Patriots. His best
chance of winning is with the Patriots. And if you
are the forty niners, and if you are the Titans

(28:42):
that everyone seems to be in love with, what do
the Titans do after next year? Because you lose Tannehill?
Tannehill goes guys, he signed somebody else. You lose Tannehill,
and then what are you gonna do after it doesn't
work with Brady for a year? What are you gonna do?
A point? All right, who are we gonna go back to?
We gotta draft? No, you're too good it now to
that point over the next couple of years to be

(29:02):
able to draft your next quarterback. You have it in Tannehill.
The locker room loves Tannehill. They want to play for him.
They trust him. You'd be out of your mind to
bring in a one year rental like Tom Brady. But
again that's that's the market being influenced by the public,
the public being influenced by the media. Everything about making

(29:24):
this bet is a sucker's bet because every bias in
the world comes into play. You're absolutely right, Joe. I
was hoping you would say maybe the Titans. He is
not going to the Titans. And the biggest reason, Mike Vrabel.
Would he really be that dumb to FaceTime Brady during
that time last week when all the rumors are flying around.

(29:45):
He's not going anywhere. It's going back to the Patriots.
They leak the report that Brady and Belichick spoke Joe
and it didn't go so well or whatever. I don't
buy any of it. Brady's old and you're right, resigned
Grant Tannehill. You have success. You beat the Patriots, Ran Antenni.
If you have the Titans right, he's a younger quarterback.
Brady's going to be forty three in June. August, sorry,

(30:06):
August three, I think, uh so. I mean he's not
getting any younger. He's a one year rental. Would be
crazy for Mike Rabel in the Titans to sign Tom Brady.
I don't think it's happening that he's going back to
New England. So minus one fifty five it makes no sense.
So you're not buying into the rumors some people might.
So we're bringing this up for people out there. Do
not hit that, all right? Next up, Philip Rivers, would

(30:28):
you hit that Cults are the favorite at minus one
sixty Tampa Bay three to one Las Vegas Raiders plus
seven fifty? Joe, would you hit that the Cults being
the team Rivers signs with come free agency next week.
You know the problem with this bet is there's two

(30:49):
realistic answers on that board right now, and the Cults
are certainly one of them, but him retiring is the other.
And that's the problem with this bat is that weird
you go because the Colts listen. The Colts, if they
want Philip Rivers will make it happen. Alright. His relationship
with Frank Wright and the coordinator. They're absolutely Philip Rivers

(31:13):
is a match made in heaven for Indie if Frank
Wright and people think he's got enough in the tank
to be able to help him. The problem with Indie
was always that their position guys, their skill position guys
weren't the best, good running game, great offensive line. To
help protect a guy that is in his upper thirties,
like Philip Rivers, they need a guy that can push

(31:34):
the ball downfield. They need a guy that can actually
they can trust in crunch time. He checks the boxes,
but only if frank Wright thinks he's got enough left
in the tank to be able to get it done.
If he does, he's going through the Colts. If he doesn't,
if the Colts say no, uh, he's retiring. Guys. He's
not going to just pick on a team to go.
It's not gonna happen. He's got four thirty two kids.

(31:57):
He's got to create little legal team. He's got a
lot going on. Philip Rivers, he'll retires. He's moved. Uh yeah,
he's good man, he's good. He'll go to the cults
because he also wants to win. He spent his entire
career in mediocrity in San Diego, not being able to
get over the hump. He wants to go to a
team that has a shot at contending, and right now,

(32:18):
the Cults will give him that best opportunity anybody else.
I did get retired, Joe, I mean you're nailing this segment. Yeah,
I agree with you. It's his cults or retire. And
there's a report that he was interested or the TV
executives are interested in offering him a deal once he
does retire to go to the Booth. And we've seen

(32:39):
how lucrative that is now for former quarterbacks to go there.
With Peyton Manning expected to be offered at least, we
don't know if he's gonna accept it. He's always turning
people down as far as TV execs, to join the Booths.
So yeah, there's an option there. And you're right, if
it's not the Colts, why play for any of these
other teams? Uh, if you're Philip Rivers, you need a
great offensive line, you need you need to be protected.

(33:01):
At the age he's at and and he doesn't move
He never did move well anyway. Now he's got nine
years old, so it makes no sense. He made a
boatload of money. You're right, it's Colts or retire. I
love the way you hit that, all right. Another interesting
one to me, Jamis Winston. Uh, the Bucks are the
favorite Joe to be the team that he lines up with,

(33:22):
or at least is on come week one next season
the box looking at minus one, you have the Bears, Dolphins,
Charges all in the hunt. There. Would it be crazy
to think that maybe the Charges of the team he
ends up with come September. You're coming next week now,
line up in September. I do not believe in Uh

(33:45):
in any way, shape or form. And this it's interesting.
I mean, there there are some fits for Winston there
that would make sense. But the reality is you've got
a you got a head coach and Bruce Areas that
came out of retirement guys to go to Tampa Bay.
Not because he's in there for the Longhorn, in it

(34:06):
because he thought in a relatively short time they'd be
able to turn that team around the problem with the Cults,
and while Jamis Winston was a nightmare of interceptions, we
get that the big problem with Tampa last year guys
was they couldn't stop the pass. They were great. Todd
Bowls was great. The defense, that three or four defense
was great. So in the middle you couldn't run against them,

(34:28):
but they lit you up in the past. That was
their problem. They couldn't stop anybody. They had no problems
scoring forty points a game, even with Winston throwing interceptions.
I think a meeting of the minds is gonna come.
I believe Arians knows in his heart of hearts what
else is out there is not He's gonna have to
start from scratch again with whoever it is, whether it's

(34:49):
a young carterback or a retread like a Mariota or somebody,
He's gonna have to start from scratch. He's already got
a year under his belt with Jamis Winston. And again,
Jamis is what he is, like Brett Farr was what
he was. You're gonna get really good and you're gonna
get absolutely horrific. And Bruce Arians, I think is gonna
be okay with that. Fixed the defense all right, and

(35:11):
another year work with Jamis as long he's Jamis is
realistic on his contract demands. Jamis Winston is going back
to Tampa all the I guarantee he's going back to
Tampa Arians doesn't want to have to start from scratch,
not why he took this job. Alright, one other quarterback
before we go here? Would you hit this prop? Teddy
Bridgewater favorite the New Orleans Saints, So though I don't

(35:35):
think that's realistic at this point, with Breeze coming back
and now Taysom Hill being tendered. What the first round
tender there to keep him in town? Plus one eighty
the favorite Miami Dolphins plus two twenty and then you
go with the Bears plus three eighty and I would
be a nice fit maybe to give some competition to
uh Trubisky. Then we have the Colts and the Buccaneers

(35:55):
plus six hundre. I was gonna mention the Buccaneers, Joe,
Maybe that might be a nice place for him with
Bruce Arians. But if Winston's going back to the books,
are you hitting this propertile with Teddy Bridgewater? Yes, this
one I am. He's going back to the Saints. And
I'll tell you why. Sean Payton's not a moral Okay, No, nobody,
and I mean nobody in their right mind in Sean

(36:18):
Payton's camp. Thanks, Taysom Hill is a franchise quarterback. Let
me just explain that to you. He is not a lunatic.
Sean Payton is one of the smartest coaches in the league.
He knows Taysom Hill is not, I repeat, not a
franchise quarterback. He's a great utility. He's a guy that
you want on your team because of how Sean Payton

(36:39):
can utilize him. If Taysom Hill goes to another team, guys,
he is nowhere even remotely as effective as he is
without Sean Payton. It's a match made in heaven. Yes,
you got Drew Brees. You got a fourty year old
Drew Brees. Drew Brees. If he breaks down again next year,
You've got Teddy Bridgewater. Teddy Bridgewater has been guaranteed under
the table. It's his ask here, it's your team. Why not?

(37:03):
Why not? Who's got a better chance at wedding? Do
you want to put that much money? Oh the say
it's without a doubt, but that much money in the
quarterback position? Are you ready for the nation's first and

Sports Grade. Get on the grid, Welcome back to at

(37:54):
the window on the Sports Grade TV network. I'm shot
Joe Ronery in South Florida. Joe, let's just update the
scores right now. In college basketball, Indiana three point lead
over Wisconsin with twenty seconds winding down. Here, Wisconsin stribbling
the basketball. We'll have the final possession here in the
first half, all burned big lead over Tennessee late in

(38:16):
the first half, and Villanova eight point lead over Georgetown
with about three minutes left to go in the first half.
There no real surprises. Jump out at me, Joe, how
about you? Yeah again, I I there were a lot
of There are a lot of games on the board
here today where underdogs are the play better value on
the dogs. A lot of these, uh, while they've gotta win. Yeah,

(38:41):
if if if teams actually won because they had to win,
and they could flip that switch, they wouldn't be five
in a spot where they have to win. So it's
there's a lot of opportunities here better teams at the
end of the season, like a villanova here, like all
burn taking on tennis. Now, um, there is a spot

(39:02):
for for you guys to be able a few of
them today to take advantage of some bad numbers. All right, Joe,
let's talk about some games coming up at one pm
Eastern time, and that's a Kentucky and Florida, a big
match up there in the SEC which sorry, you want
in this game coming up here at one pm with
Florida being the home team. Nineteen and eleven on the season. Yeah, exactly, Kentucky.

(39:26):
Really Kentucky prior to losing last week, collapsing last week
or last game rather again with Tennessee in the second half,
a game which didn't mean much to them, and prior
to that had won eight in a row. They were
the hottest team in the country all of a sudden.
Now because they lost like that, now it's oh no,
they're gonna go on the road Florida. Florida is a mess.

(39:47):
It's one of the most inconsistent teams we've seen in
the SEC. Uh, it's gonna be in Florida. But this
Calipari knows. You know, we're going to two game losing
streak heading into heading into the tournament young team, eighteen
year olds, nineteen year olds, Calipari wants to win. The
kids are gonna want to win. They're better than Florida.
Buy a mile. The fact that I'm getting points with

(40:08):
Kentucky on the road. Yeah, Jim Cocky's Kentucky has already
beat Florida. They beat them hands down. They're gonna beat
him again today. Give me the points. I'm good with that.
All right. Let's talk about Beller and West Virginia. Talk
about a team West Virginia right now not playing their
best basketball, but Baylor two and two their last two

(40:29):
four games. They're lost to Kansas, of course, and also
TCU a mid league or decent mediocre their team in TCU,
the Mountaineers are favorite in this game. They're at home.
How do you see this one, um playing out here? Joe? Well,
the truth is, um, talk about a team that this
game means absolutely nothing for when there is zero reason

(40:52):
for you to even yeah, no reason for you even
to play this game if I'm Baylor, because nothing that
happens here helps them at all. They bredie security the
number two seat in the Big twelve. Kansas has already wanted.
They know what is at stake here. There's nothing here
for this team. There is everything here for the for
the Baylor, for West Virginia rather. Also keep in mind,

(41:14):
I believe Mark Vital and Tristan Clark, two of the
mainstays for Baylor, have been on the questionable list there
game time decisions. If either of those guys one or
both are not going. West Virginia is definitely the play here.
But West Virginia can't win on the road. They've been
better at home. To tell you the truth, both of

(41:34):
these teams, the way they played defense, I would look
at the under in this matchup. Alright, Joe, and one
other interesting game here coming up at two pm Eastern time, KU.
That's Kansas Texas SEC. Now Texas SEC. We've this team
we've been following with Chris Beer, giving him high praise
for the way he coached the team last year to
the championship game, losing in overtime to Virginia. They were

(41:57):
ranked last week, but we had Jerry Palm on earlier
this weekend. He said Texas Sex is a bubble team.
How much to the Texas SEC Red Raiders this victory
over number one KU to make the big dance problem
is there on a three game losing streak. I mean,
that's the problem here. The Red Raiders did so well
a bunch of Juco transfers, those types of things they are.

(42:20):
Chris Beard doesn't necessarily build them up from freshman, although
they do have a freshman uh you know in Ramsey
that's an absolute stud. But it takes a little while
for Chris Beard, just like it did last year for
the guys that come together. They've kind of hit a
wall here. Three losses in a roll is put him
squarely on the bubble And I agree with Jerry. But
here's what you need to know about this game. Kansas

(42:41):
another one that has absolutely nothing to gain by winning
or losing this match up, but they are they have
They have dominated and I mean dominated Texas Tech over
the over the years, especially um in Texas Tech. The
number that stuck out to me was the under is

(43:02):
eleven and oh in Kansas road games this year eleven
and oh. Texas Tech paroseous defense. Both of these teams
top ten defensive efficiency. These two teams will go at
it and a desperate Red Raiders team if this is
at one thirty three and a half, if it remains there,
guys grabbed the under in this game. It's going under.

(43:25):
There's not gonna be a ton of point scored in this.
I wouldn't touch the side because the way it's at
or about two points is about what I have it at.
But the total, I think it's a little over inflated.
I would go under and continue to ride that eleven
and oh to the under street Kansas on Road Games
has had this year. Fandel has Kansas favorite by three

(43:47):
in the matchup. So yet, don't touch that. Go with
the under. You said one thirty three. Fendel has it
at one three and a half. Other books, but all right,
that's the play there. Speaking to Kansas, Fendel has them
six to one, the favorite too. In the National Championship.
Joe gonzag is second at nine to one, followed by
Baylor ten to one, daytonteenth one, then the Spartans at

(44:09):
fifteen to one. And I want to mention the Spartans only.
And if you listen to Jared Smith, gotta give him
some props. There has been talking about the Michigan State
Spartans as a team that with good value now at
fifteenth one, he keeps coming down fifteen one. When you
look at the futures market for the n C Double
A College basketball Championship, which a prop do you like

(44:30):
the best? Which team do you put your steak in?
Right here? Well, I gotta tell you, let's not give
Jared credit for anything. All right, let's not do that
on this show us as yeah, men that I told
you how we love Jared right, um, you now, we do,

(44:53):
we love we love Jared, But you got to to
me the value. Kansas should be favored as the in
to beat this year, no doubt about it. They should
be the absolute favorite. They have proven it again to
be the best team in the country. Now having said that,
they're not. They're not that kind of elite team like
we've seen in years passed where they should be the

(45:14):
overwhelming favorite. And I don't think their priced that way
obviously at six to one. But I do think there's
a lot of value in those middle road of the teams. Listen,
Dating is for real. San Diego State guys is for real. Uh,
Michigan State is for real. Maryland is for their Florida
State is for real. There's a lot of teams in

(45:36):
that middle price point there that have tremendous value that
can win the championship. This year, Kansas should be the favorite.
They are the best team in the country right now,
but they're not so good that they're you know, two
to one, guys, there's six to one. There's a lot
of value in the Dayton's and uh in the Michigan
states of the world. And you know, I mean, who

(45:56):
knows bail or nobody's talking about them either. So there's
an opportunity here to make some money, I think in
the future market right now. Hell, even Kentucky, give me
a team you do not Kentucky? Yeah? Where the Yeah? Well,
you give me a team out of the out of
that pack you know, let's say fifteen teams that you mentioned,
kind of like the top ten to twelve, right which

(46:20):
those teams that you just mentioned, do you not trust it?
Do you trust Oregon? Do you trust San Diego State?
Did you trust Louisville? Like, give me a team that
you've watched all season long, come tournament time, you would
not be surprised if they're outcome the first you know,
first game or second game. I don't. I do not
trust Louisville. Um. I have watched Louisville a couple of

(46:41):
times this year beat themselves in the most horrific of
ways and then just not show up. And I'm not
talking about you know, the bottom feeders against northwesterns of
the world. Guys. I've watched them lose big games and
big moments, uh, you know, most recently to Florida State,
for instance. They had them on the ropes, they had
them to go, and then they completely fell apart in

(47:02):
a second half. I've seen that happen on the road
with them a few times, even once at home this year.
So Louisville has got a lot of they got a
lot of players, but atted the A C C. If
there was a team that I would put my money behind,
it is Florida State to be able to win it all.
I trust Florida State's depth, I trust their size, I
trust Leonard Hamilton's I think they've got a real chance

(47:26):
at a national championship here this year. Louisville, they keep
shooting him said. They have shot themselves in a foot
one too many times for me this year to uh
to look at them and go, Yeah, this is a
team we need to take seriously. How about how about Zaga?
Mark fu has been at it a long time now
there in Spokane, Washington. He's been to one final four,
probably finally had that monkey office back removed. Now it's

(47:50):
the national championship. He's one of the few coaches. He's
prominent coach. He's been at it a long time, very successful,
overachieving there. As I mentioned Gonzaga, he needs to win
a championship for his legacy. I think going forward, is
this the year that he could get it done and
cut down the nets? You believe in those guys, Yes,

(48:10):
I do, and you and you and you have two guys.
I mean now the conference. You'll hear the argument every year,
all the conferences. The conference, that's the problem. They don't
play anybody. St Mary's ain't trying, you know, and um
you know and pushing him and off and YadA yadaya.
You listen. I get a Western Conference is not the world.
But that's also why in the beginning of the year,
their non conference schedule, guys is brutal. They don't they

(48:32):
don't hide from anybody. They go out and themselves. They're
not a one that done school their teams that you
know they got thirty year olds on his team, Well
they look like thirty year olds, but they might as
well be because they're there for four years. They're there
for three years and there for four years. There's something
to be said about college teams like San Diego State
Dayton that get these kids who stay as a freshman, sophomore, junior, senior.

(48:57):
The continuity that you can build is amazing. If it's
not this year with Mark Few, I don't know when
they should be a favorite to Winness. I'm rooting for
him out. That would be a nice storyline come Final four.
Mark Few going for his first national championship. Would be
nice to see their Maryland team. We did not mention

(49:17):
nineteen to one. They're probably with I'm trying to say,
who's the class Michigan State now, I guess since AFI
can say beat them, we have not mentioned them. All right,
We'll try not to. Joe. More of this, more NBA talk,
Major League Baseball, Arnold Palmer Invitational, NASCAR, we have it all.
