(00:27):
I want all of you to get up out of
your chess, go to the window, open it and stick
your head out of hill. We're in. I'm back. You
can't get rid of me. You just can't. This is

(00:47):
this is if you're if you're like, oh, I'm excited
to watch the Sports Bred. Hopefully Kevin Walsh isn't there.
First of all, rude, rude. Second of all, you're out
of luck. I'm here, I'm hearing until six, and I'll
be honest with you. I cut the power lines the
fandal sports books like not enough of me. I need
more me, and that's what we're getting now. I'm hoping

(01:10):
we don't fix it, because like, I'm gonna put my
feet better, I'm gonna get a little bit of I'm
gonna get comfortable and we're and we're just gonna rock
right now. I'm excited about it. We're gonna make it happen.
So let's uh, is that the window with shawn glass
Tamakia parentheses at some point at the window with Shawan
glass Tomakia at some point for now? Though what Kevin

(01:34):
Walsh like, what more could you ask for? Here? Uh?
And look we're doing out the window. Let's help some
people get to the window. There's a couple of games
that are gonna be getting underway here at twelve o'clock,
featuring some top twenty five basketball teams. And I said,
we talked about him. I say, we try and find
out if we've got any angles for these games, and
we'll be able to end to follow them the whole
way here. And of course we know that in Game

(01:55):
Live will be getting underway at two o'clock. Guess who's
gonna be on that show? Me obviously. Uh. And we're
gonna just keep things rolling so we'll be able to
track these games, follow these games along right away. So
let's let's start with the first one on the slate,
Providence traveling to Villanova seven and a half points. The
Wildcats are laying the total is one thirty four, and

(02:20):
this is a spot here where I'm sure a lot
of people are gonna want to back the wildcast. They're
gonna be favorite to win this. They're they're gonna be expected,
I should say, to win this basketball game. But on
the year, they've played thirteen games as home favorites, they've
only covered in five of those. On the other side
of it, Providence is five and three a t S
as a road dog, including their last three basketball games

(02:40):
they've covered. They've won those games. They're playing really really well.
I know it's hard to win on the road, but
I'll take a little bit of a shot here with
that basketball team, and I leaned towards the under one
thirty three. It's not high, and Villanova has been playing
a lot more unders and overs. However, I've been burned
by this team on a DePaul game. I did come

(03:02):
back to them the next time against Xavier and it
worked out. So they're an under basketball team. One thirty three.
Not a massive like margin for error there. I think
the numbers pretty spot on, but I would lean towards
the under, and I lean towards Providence getting seven and
a half points in their building let's talk Penn State Iowa. Uh,
this is another massive game on you know, being around

(03:25):
the rim. We just talked about the Big ten quite
a bit here. This is a game that pitched those
teams against one another. Iowa host Penn State as four
and a half point favorites, and for me, the only
way to be playing this one is Iowa Penn State.
Struggles of recent are noted. It's what it's been, and
Iowa has been. They've just been incredible at home this year,

(03:48):
nine two and two a t s as home favorites,
and you you guys know that they're gonna be like
there's only been one game at home that they've been
dogs like, they're gonna be positioned in this spot all
year long. They've been good in that spot. Penn State
was on this incredible, incredible run. You look at it
over their last ten basketball games, they've covered seven of ten.

(04:11):
That's great, they covered seven straight. They've now not covered
three consecutive games here, So I would lean a little
bit more towards the Iowa side. They've been much much
better in this spot. And I don't think that the
four and a half is that high. It's close, but
I leaned towards Iowa. And in terms of this total, guys,

(04:32):
one fifty two is a lot of points. One fifty
two is a lot of points. And on the year,
in this specific spot, we've seen this thing been been
played a little bit more towards the under Penn State
on the season, of the nine games that they have
played on the road, only three of them have gone over,
so six and three to the under on the road
and on the season, Iowa is eight of eight and

(04:55):
six to the under at home, so a lean towards
the under in this basketball game. The other twelve o'clock
basketball game here, and again a lot of these are
getting underway, but it's kind of just setting you guys
up for how I see these games and then we'll
be able to follow them throughout Texas. At Texas Tech,
this number is high man eleven and a half for
Texas team that's been playing alright basketball. They've covered three

(05:17):
in a row in terms as well as winning three
in a row. They've been dogs in two of those games,
two consecutive a t s five and three. As a
robot dog here Texas Texas home favorite. It's only seven
and eight, not not like an incredible forcelo record as
a favorite overall Texas Tech is eleven and fourteen, so
they look they have not been a team that you

(05:39):
bet one consistently, roll roll roll with I think the
eleven and a half, it's high Texas for me right
now is a little bit of a play on. They're
playing some decent ball, uh, and this is you know,
a little bit of a rivalry game as well. So
I'm not against uh letting it roll with Texas catching
those points. No real lean on this total. No, No,
it's typically when I see something this low I liked,
I'll go over because it's one like you don't need

(06:00):
a ton to get over the numbers. So that's where
I would lean on these basketball games, and they'll be
fun to track throughout. But also I know it at
the window here is UH. From the time that I've
been able to watch the show, I know that these
guys also they love talking big picture. And now that
we've set the table a little bit for the games
that are live right now on the college side, I

(06:21):
want to talk a little bit of big picture. Something
that I heard today on Football Full Circle hosted by
Mike Blewett and Joe Leasy who doing an incredible job.
They also host the XFL shows, and the XFL will
be discussed certainly on this show when Shawn is up
and right, because he loves betting those games. But they
were talking on Football Full Circle about how to approach

(06:45):
the running back market. Right now, it's the NFL Combine time,
and we're getting excited about Jonathan Taylor, who I believe
ran the fastest forty of any running back, which is
considering the pedigree and the production that he gave us
during his time in college. For him then to be
able to put up numbers at the combine like that,

(07:08):
it's incredibly impressive and it's something that would get you
incredibly high on Jonathan Taylor and maybe even say he
is a franchise running back. But the conversation these days
around running backs is we can't really afford franchise running backs.
Let's take a look at the top running backs in

(07:31):
terms of salary within the NFL and how many of
these guys are the reason that their teams are where
they are, Like, could these teams possibly sustain success without them?
You go to the let's let's use two thousand and
nineteen before any of the other numbers kick in and

(07:52):
you just take the top five. Ezekiel Elliott made the
most money at fifteen million, and it's a understandable price
that they had to pay Zeke. What is that the
best way to use their money? Think about where they
are right now with Dak Prescott and Mari Cooper and
Byron Jones trying to figure out who they're gonna be
paying right now. Having to pay Zeke that kind of

(08:14):
money didn't help. Todd Gurley's not far off. And unfortunately
Todd Gurley, who flirted with an m v P with
health now maybe never gets back to that situation. Left Bell,
who the Jets played paid and I understood that they
paid before you even suited up. They were ready to
move on from him because of a difference in ideology
between their head coach and the people who made the

(08:36):
decision to sign Levian Bell, which is crazy to think
that that is even something that was allowed to happen.
David Johnson, who I love and for a wild champion,
has the best running back in football, most talented running
back in football, is no longer going to probably be
in Arizona past this year's He's not even the number
one like Kenyan Drake came in and was great, and

(08:56):
and DJ just couldn't stay healthy. And then there's DeVonta Freeman,
and it's it's a significant drop off in terms of
those guys are all making thirteen or better. DeVonta Freeman
comes in at a little bit more than eight million.
But is Devanta Framan the reason that the Falcons are No,
he's not the reason that the Falcons are winning games here.
But the problem becomes with these guys, is you Zeke

(09:20):
and Gurley specifically, when you draft them, where you draft
them and they then give you the production that you
have paid for in that draft spot, how do you
not keep them on a pure talent wise Where Zeke
went in the draft was justified, purely talent speaking, where

(09:43):
Todd Gurley went justified purely talent speaking, where s Kwon
Barkley went justified. However, is that really where you can
be taking running backs? It's just not. It's it's not
because the value isn't there. You can't afford to be

(10:04):
paying Zeke fifteen million, and then Christian McCaffrey, who will
probably break that fifteen five and then Barkley who will
probably break that sixteen million and then if Jonathan Taylor
got drafted in the top five and began the best
running back in football seventeen, you can't justify that. So now,

(10:26):
to me, there's no way I can be taking running
backs in the top ten. But here's the other problem.
If a Christian McCaffrey falls to five and a team
like the Pittsburgh Steelers nabs them, and I know that
they don't call it, but for years, like if the
Pittsburgh Steelers added that kind of talent, well that's I mean,

(10:49):
that's completely unfair. And if all of the sudden a
guy like se Kwon Barkley became available in the second round,
well no, we're now losing our minds, Like the guy
has to go in the first round. But can I
justify first round picks on running backs? Like? This is
where it becomes so so difficult with these running backs

(11:11):
is it's almost not about justifying to me where you
draft them. It's can you justify a second contract on
any of these running backs? I don't think the answer
is yes, I really don't. And if I can't justify
a second contract for you, I don't even know why
I'm drafting you. It's certainly not in the first round.

(11:33):
This is where the problem with running backs come in,
and I almost feel like, to some degree they are
Their situation is part of the reason this c b
A is what the c b A is because we
just all of these players they feel expendable, like we
can we can move on, and that's how you get
into these positions here all right, we're coming up against

(11:54):
the break. For those that are watching on YouTube, feel
free to comment down below. Do you want your teams
to be paying uperstar running backs these kind of contracts.
I'm curious to see how people feel on that will
continue a lot of these conversations rolling right here on
out the window. I want to light the lamp on

That's promo code action for a ten percent discount. Let's
keep a rolling man here at the window. I'm Kevin Walsh.

(12:58):
And if you want to call in, because look right now,
you know I want to talk to some people. I
love me, I love talking to myself, but I love
talking to people as well. If you'd like to call
in the number eight four four eight four three six
eight seven nine. That is eight four four eight four
three six eight seven nine. The real key to get
people to remember that is to make a jingle. But

(13:20):
at some point I'll try and I'll try and do that.
You know. Someone comment in the chat, Uh, Andre, Right,
So you can draft a running back, but he has
to be a dual threat. Uh. And he also be
able to block, so catch, block and run. And I
don't disagree one bit there, Andre. I think at this point,
right now, you can't be taking single purpose backs. It
doesn't make any sense. However, I still like cold Christian McCaffrey,

(13:44):
knowing what he is. Can we still take Christian McCaffrey
in the top ten and it'd be a viable option
because you also have to understand, guys, if you're in
the top ten, and even more so the top five,
you have a lot more holes than running back, Like
it's very very rare that a team would be a

(14:08):
running back away from solving their issue. Like you know
what I'm trying to get out there we were in
terms of Christian McCaffrey. I think he is immensely talented.
In terms of like pure skill set, He's right up
there with anybody the league has to offer. But it
is so so difficult to look at your roster and

(14:31):
say this is where our draft capital is best spent,
because that's the catch twenty two of it all. You
probably have significantly bigger issues then running back here. Like
I just pulled up a quick mock draft and I'll
say it was done by Josh Edwards, it was done yesterday,
and I'm gonna go through this just right now. I'm

(14:53):
not gonna read off everybody that, uh, he's selected here,
but you go through it, and I'm gonna see when
do I we find our first running back selected? And
some people might say, well, it's not as strong of
a running back class, like you don't have any running
backs here that would justify comparisons to Christian McCaffrey or

(15:13):
a se Kwon Barkley. And you're a hundred percent right,
but there was still not a single running back in
the first round of that mock draft there that was
on CBS. I'll even go over to maybe like the
Draft Network. I know that they do a ton of
mock drafts over there, and again I love my like,
I don't know if you guys are in the mock draft.
I love mock drafts. I think that they're a ton

(15:34):
of fun. I think that they're great to really find
yourself more familiar with how people are viewing it. But
as I go through another mock draft that was done
on the Draft Networks website here, not a running back
goes in round one? Like when does our first running
back even go this mock draft here to get to

(15:54):
give credit done by Joe Marino on February, then, I
don't know if the fort yards dashtime Jonathan Taylor, it's
really gonna be able to swing things around, But I
don't know if I would really bank on that. Here,
our first running back is DeAndre Swift at the thirty
seven overall pick. Like DeAndre Swift, Joe Lesie Joelici of
this network who knows college football, I will put Joliese's

(16:17):
college football uh knowledge and that's why does the XFL show,
because he actually knows so many of these guys and
he remembers them. Like Joe Lisi in a video here
that played as a promo, talked about DeAndre swift talent
and said that there is a maybe a combination of
Todd Gurley and say Klon Barkley in his game. That
doesn't mean that he is Girly and Barkley mixed together,

(16:39):
because that's maybe the greatest football player we've ever seen,
but it gives you an idea of the talent that
DeAndre Swift has, at least again in the mind of
Joe Lissie. But I'm someone I value Joe Liese's opinion
on stuff like that overall. Pick you're telling me that
none of these teams could add that kind of talent.
They'd love to have that kind of talent. It's just

(17:00):
not something that I believe can be justified really at
this point in the top twenty. I don't know how
you justify taking a running back right now, at this
point in the top twenty. And these are kind of
some of the conversations that you're gonna be seed right now.
As we get closer and closer to the NFL draft,

(17:20):
but also there will be pivot points because what I
like about the NFL, and I think it works better
in the NFL, I don't think. I think the NFL's
way is different than the NBA's way, and I prefer
for both. Like I think in the NBA, I want
the draft before free agency, and in the NFL, I
want free agency before the draft. There's so many more
holes that have to be figured out in the NFL

(17:41):
that you couldn't possibly justify the draft coming first. I
know some people would rather free agency before the NBA draft,
but I like, I like the way that both sides
of position. But with free agency coming up, you'll see
some teams try and put some running backs and fill
some things here you could there's always trades, and you
know some of these guys like Jonathan Howard, think about

(18:02):
Think about think about Howard right, who the Bears took
great value on. Was I think in his rookie year
the second leading rusher behind Zeke and got traded for
next to nothing. And it was not something like what
are they doing? Like the Eagles stole like no, like
it is understandable, like it was time to move on.
They drafted David Montgomery like and again another guy that

(18:23):
didn't go in the first round. And that's just what
made sense for what they were trying to do. But
you'll see free agency kind of start to sure a
lot of things up. And I'll tell you right now, though, guys,
there is as much uncertainty around what free agency is
going to bring in terms of the quarterback position as

(18:45):
I can remember. Because the best way that I can
truly put this to people is we have more quarterbacks
than quarterback positions. Like that's the reality of it. There
are thirty two starting jobs, thirty two, and and you
look through it and it is like, there aren't thirty

(19:07):
two great starting quarterbacks. It's not even thirty two good
starting quarterbacks. But there are can I say fifty guys
that you could conceivably conceivably put on a list and say, yeah,
that might be a team starting quarterback. Like of course
you have your usual like the guys that were the

(19:27):
thirty two in Week seventeen for all of these teams,
but then you also have quarterbacks that we're gonna be introducing,
like Herbert Borrow to h then even some of the
later round guys Jordan's Love is a guy you can
see in the first round of some mock drafts. Jacob
Easton is a guy within the conversation. Jacob from the

(19:47):
guy within the conversation. Even Jalen hurts, we're talking about here.
Then you also rub the backups Teddy Bridgewater needs a
new home. Marcus Mariota now could be jobless. People say
that the Bucks are gonna move on from jame Miss Winston.
What does that mean that nobody is gonna be interested
in Jamis Winston? But what is making this conversation so funny?
The thing is, I've been having this conversation with friends

(20:10):
and myself sometimes about where these guys gonna go, because
you know, not everybody's excited about figuring out what Ryan
Fitzpatrick's landing spot relative to the third round quarterback. This
stuff has always fascinated me. This though, is a conversation.
Now you talk about the quarterback carousel, and it's the
wheel keeps spinning and one guy moves here, and it

(20:31):
means that now another guy has to move here. And this, though,
is a conversation that's now going to be more than
welcomed by the mainstream because maybe the face of the
league that's probably Pat Mahomes, but maybe the most recognizable guy,
if you will, right, it's Tom Brady and he's been

(20:53):
doing this for two decades in New England and now
might be leaving. We got the up eight this week.
It was Jeff Darlington, I believe, who reported that it
looks like, you know, Brady's gonna hitting free agency and
he's kind of expecting to go somewhere else. And the

(21:14):
best thing about this is we can bet on all
of this and it's kind of a really good way
to understand the market and understand where or understand kind
of who we believe are the players here. And there
are thirteen teams on FanDuel that they have posted for
Tom Brady. The Patriots remain the favorites. Odds on Favorites

(21:39):
at minus one sixty, And that really jumped out to
me because we pretty much just got a report that
I think it'd be hard to argue it pretty much
says Brady's going to go elsewhere, Like, how do you
read that report any other way? Like Tom Brady is
going to leave? And you see the odds right there

(22:00):
minus one sixty. Wow, look at that that just worked
out that we had that graphic that's awesome minus one
sixty and the Titans plus three eighty, the Raiders and
the Chargers at six to one, the Giants and the
Bucks at eleven to one. And the quote from Jeff Arlington,
who was reporting and schefter, said that Tom Brady is

(22:22):
currently operating under the belief that he will enter free
agency to play somewhere other than New England next season,
a sentiment that the quarterback has shared with others. He's
openly discussing this that tweet Brady isn't gonna be a Pat.

(22:43):
Here's why this is fascinating, though, How then do they
still remain your odds on favorite? Is it that they're
not buying the report? Is it that they believe that
this is all miss? Do they believe cooler heads will prevail?

(23:04):
Is Robertt Craft gonna step in and have to play
seemingly dad again between Bill and Tom? Who? I mean,
let's call it what it is like. The Pats are
seemingly just not on the same wavelength in terms of
their two key guys, Bill Belichick and Tom Brady. And
I buy that Brady, or rather Belichick, didn't want to

(23:28):
have to send out Jimmy Garoppolo who just played in
a Super Bowl and he had he had some poor moments,
but still is a quarterback that went to the Super
Bowl who's still young enough to wear That would have
been a nice bridge there for this New England team.
And by the way, I said there were thirteen teams
actually retired as an Obstcreneur's twelve teams. So why are
they still the odds on favorite. It's because there's no

(23:52):
clear cut answer on the other side, or there's no
clear cut answer. He's going here, he's going here. A
lot of question marks, well do when we come back
here and out the window trying to answer those questions
most who makes the most sense Tom Brady to play
quarterback for next year? We'll talk that more on out
the Window next. I want to be the next Daily

(24:57):
the window, and I just want to quickly say, you know,
everyone was tak yes today about h McKay Beckton, the
Louisville tackle who ran the UH forty in a it
was a five, like it was five point one and
it was five eleven, and uh, you know it's because
he's you know, he's he's six seven over three fifty.
And I saw the time and I was like, that's
not like listing speed Like I I'm trying to like

(25:21):
piece it together in my head what it looks like.
But really, when you watch the video, I mean, he
looks like he's flying like for that size. So yeah,
like McCay's, it's always fun when guys can kind of
come out there and put this athletics asn't want to display.
But Beckton has likely played himself or ran himself. I
just taking to a top ten pick, and I know
there's plenty of mocks. I viewed him maybe potentially the

(25:43):
best tackle in the draft. I think it's Jederick Willis,
who's kind of like the clear cut number one guy,
but Kristin Worths had an incredible day. I love the
NFL draft guy, so uh. And it's something that you know,
we're probably gonna ramp up more coverage here on the
network as a whole. Uh. Maybe I would do a
mock draft special if you guys would be interested in it. Uh,
and kind of tied into betting the odds, where you know,
there's always how many quarterbacks going around one? What receivers

(26:06):
running backs? Uh, you know, how many guys from the
Batman round one? Like those type of different things, And
I think we can kind of start to introduce some
more and more coverage on that, Like the combine is
really the launching point to where we're now getting information
and we're getting reports on how these guys stopped are
rising and of course on the other side falling. So
we're always gonna be keeping tabs on that. But where

(26:27):
we last left it this conversation about Tom Brady and
where Brady would go if it's not going to be
New England. Once again, we see the odds right there.
Titans after the Patriots are your favorites, and the Raiders
and Charges both come in at six to one, and
then the Giants in the Bucks at eleven one and

(26:51):
one of those teams there, to me, I'm floored, floored
to see and it's the New York Football Giants. I
don't understand this guy's Like, I get it that Joe
Judge came from New England and I was talking to
Gay the other day. He was telling me that Judge
apparently refuses to say Daniel Jones name. But the idea

(27:13):
that this team would draft Danny Dimes against if we're honest, Like,
if we're honest, it was a questionable decision when they
did it all in all, you know, you compared to
Dwayne Haskins. People are excited about Daniel Jones and he

(27:34):
had some electric games, like he had three games of
four or more thrown touchdowns like that is it's incredible stuff.
And there's only a rookie. There were plenty mistakes who
turnover machine, but that's as a rookie, maybe you can
come back a little bit. And the athleticism that you
see there, like the the idea that they would move

(27:55):
on from Daniel Jones for Tom Brady is it's just
such an opposite directions type of thing, but it completely
fits the idiocy of of what the Giants have been
doing of recent that, I guess I understand why they
have the same exact odds as a team as the
Tampa Bay Bucks, who from everything we understand, are gonna

(28:18):
be moving on from Jamis Winston. But what is this
is what we talked about the quarterback Harisell And as
the wheel keeps spinning, when one guy gets on, another
guy gets off. Are they gonna keep Daniel Jones? We're
gonna do Brady Jones competition? What happens if Jones beat
Tom Brady in camp? Who's the stupidest team in the league?
Then the Giants how student like this? But it's also

(28:40):
an awful like if Brady comes in there and it's
competing for the job, you can't pay him. So now
you're gonna trade Daniel Jones? Like is Daniel Jones now
an option in New England? Is Daniel Like? Does what?
What if Belichick liked him? Because you know Belichick's been
looking at quarterback for years. We always have the reports
that he was in love with Baker Mayfield and do

(29:00):
you hear him tied to quarterbacks all the time when
it comes to the draft process. There was an idea
that they would have maybe try up I think it
and come and get Kyler Murray. Last year there was
an idea that they would have Josh rosen Uh in
that same draft, with the Baker Draft and all of
this stuff. Maybe they like Daniel Jones for they what
price could they be able to get them for? If

(29:20):
this team is now going to commit themselves to Tom Brady,
that's interesting stuff to me. And you see some of
these connections here, and you know that one again has
has a Patriots linked to it and the Titans and
Rabel and that whole situation where it's a team that
they eliminated the Patriots and and they went to the

(29:41):
a f C Championship game beating both the New England
Patriots and Foxballer and the number one seed Baltimore Ravens,
the number one seed Baltimore Ravens in their own building,
unanimous m v P. Lamar Jackson like. It was incredible stuff,
incredible from that Titans team. And a lot of people
would say, man, imagine if they had Tom Brady, imagine

(30:03):
what they would have been able to do. But guys,
Ryan Tannehill was not playing bad football. In fact, Ryan
Tannehill was playing incredible football, and I don't know if
Brady is gonna necessarily bring them to the new level. However,
Tannehill could be moving on because he might be commanding
a massive contract, And the question becomes, all in all,
if Brady and Tannehill are commanding the same money, are

(30:25):
we actually at a point where that's a conversation like
are people comfortable having that debate? Are people comfortable saying
that they would rather have Ryan Tannehill then Tom Brady?
Because I'm gonna quickly pull this up here and compare

(30:46):
these two guys number, these guys number from last year
because to me, you look at Ryan Tannehill through twenty
two touchdowns and six interceptions, obviously did not start every game,
only twelve games that he played in for that team.
And you look at Brady in the full six team,
he only threw two more touchdowns than Tannehill while still

(31:09):
throwing two more interceptions. If you're a qbr guy, Brady
came in its seventeen. Ryan Tannehill comes in at ninth.
Like if you're in on passer rating, Ryan Tannehill lead
the league, led the league. The Titans are gonna move
on from Ryan Tannehill. To have to pay even more
money to bring in Tom Brady's an interesting move the

(31:32):
Chargers at six to one, it makes sense right, like
Philip Rivers is moving out, Except it also makes no
sense because one of the reports that was attached to
when that decision came out is Anthony Lynn. Now Ian
Rappaport Road. Well, Anthony Lyndna can get a quarterback that
maybe we'll fit his system a little bit better. What
does that mean? Well, when he was in Buffalo was
the anthings coordinator he had Tyrod Taylor, And I think

(31:56):
that Anthony Lynn is guy who should be trying to
coach more. You're Lamar Jackson's, Tyrod Taylor's, Kyler Murray's Jalen
Hurts is of the World's. Then you're Philip Rivers and
you're Tom Brady's. I don't see that in marriage making
too much sense or enough sense, if you will. So
that's where to me, all of this is is so

(32:18):
interesting to try and find the team. The team that
I would love to see is the Vegas Raiders to
bring them in and let this team now have all
the buzzling world in Vegas with Brady. It might not work,
but it'd be fun. And if I'm not mistaken, I
think we might have Cam Stewart with us. And someone
in my ear can tell me if Cam is ready
to go or not. But Cam, I am fascinated by

(32:40):
this Tom Brady discussion, and and when he joins us,
I want to get Cam's take on it as well.
And before we do that, then it's it's worth me
talking about kind of the other teams that are on
this lessons And then you guys, we pulled up the
graphic past the Boxer, the Cowboys. I'm paying back before
I'm paying Brady, because that's the thing. Bradis noting at

(33:00):
that discount anymore. I'm paying back before I'm paying Brady.
The Dolphins are also at one. I'm drafting to a
foreign paying Brady that's not a roster that's ready to
win more Patriots ties with Brian flora Is. There's the
d C. But no, that doesn't make sense. The cults.
Isn't that hilarious when everybody said that Jacoby Brissett was

(33:21):
just as good as Andrew Luck and he was their guy,
and they locked him up. And I had people sit
here in this studio with a straight face on me.
The given Jacoby Brisett long term over Lamar what no God,
I'm sure they'd like to have that one back, but
that's how it goes because we're not gonna get into it.
But the cults, and the thing is, the cults are

(33:43):
odds on favorites. The same exact price that Brady is
to stay out in New England is what the cults
are to get Philip Rivers. So it doesn't seem like
the cults are really gonna be the option. The Niners
are the same prices as the cults. They're not moving
on from Jimmy ch Come on, guys, there's no there's
They're not moving off from Jimmy g For Brady, it's
a lateral move. It feels like a lateral move, and

(34:05):
I don't see them mixing things up. No team retired
thirty one. I would book all those. I would book
them all. He's not gonna retire. He's not gonna retire.
He'll go back to New England or at a at
a discount, or take a discount somewhere else where you
can try and win. Now, he's not retiring. Thirty seven one.
I think you're wasting your money. The Bears are at
forty one. We just recently got a report that Andy

(34:27):
Dalton could potentially find himself in Chicago, as the Bears
were interested in having Rabisky and Dalton compete. Bears fans,
I feel sorry for you that they're trying to sell
you on a Chrabisky Dalton competition. But that's what it
looks like. And then the longest harge of the Panthers
are sixty two one, which is weird. I don't know
why the Panthers are so far off because they don't

(34:47):
have an like if Cam goes And speaking of Cam,
Cam Stewart is here, Cam, I'm talking a lot about
this Tom Brady stuff here. The news came out his
odds have come all the way down to minus one
sixty to stay in New England. And I think the
only reason it's not plus money, uh, Cam, is nobody
knows where. If it's not in Windland, it's where. Good question, buddy,
And uh, you know what, Gabe and I were talking

(35:09):
about this on our show, and I gotta think the
Chargers makes a lot of sense, right. The Colts, the
Colts and Philip Rivers are you know, it looks like
that's gonna happen. And I'm actually one person that thinks
Philip Rivers could do well in Indianapolis due to that line. keV.
That's the thing, right, Uh, they got a great line
and they have a running game and they can pound
the rock. That's how they beat the Chiefs on Sunday

(35:30):
Night football, and not a lot of teams had that recipe.
So I think you protect Rivers. He's still okay, he's
got one or two years left in a max. The Chargers,
on the other hand, you know, I think you gotta
go with Brady and uh, you know that would that
would make sense to me. The Raiders want to get
in there, and it's all a smoke stream, keV. We've
been in this business a long time. We're not stupid.
Oh we like Derek Carr. Derek's our guy. He looks great.

(35:52):
You know. That's a bunch of ps and you know
it is they're just basically they don't want to sell
this guy down the river. So uh yeah, it sounds. Uh.
I don't know what we're gonna do, buddy, But you know,
if you want to take a flyer, quit game saying
like Tampa Bay is a big pooch but I don't
know if Tom Brady. I just can't see Tom Brady
in a Bucks uniform. How about the fact that these
Bucks have the same odds as the Giants? Like is

(36:12):
that not crazy? Yeah? I know, Like don't they have
Danny Times? Yeah? Like what happened to Danny Times? Come on, guys,
he said, what you're one? You're in the league? Like,
keep the guy a little bit, cut some, cut up some.
It's so giants that they would even consider all right,
So Cam's hanging out there is now, which is great.
We can talk about a zillion things. That's Cam Steward

(36:33):
can talk about everything. It's that's what we'll do, Just
talk about everything. Un out the window. Keep it here.

just serve you no fanatic. This is sports Crade get
off the grid. All right, we're back right here on

(37:24):
at the wind On Kevin Walsh and I've been joined
by Cam Stewart who comes in to save the day,
like only Cam Stewart knows how uh and you know,
Cam damn. It was funny, I was. I was at
the beginning of the show. I was all like high
and mighty. I was joking around. I'm like, that's right
because I did the Basketball Show before this. I'm actually
I've been booked for eight straight and um, I'm like, yeah,

(37:45):
that's right, you're not getting rid of me. Uh, you
know at the window, Kevin Walsh, I can't wait. I'll
tell you what I hit segments too. I was like,
oh boy, this is gonna be a lot, you know
what I mean. That's why people don't understand it. It
happened to and gave you to have those technical You
just sit there like it's one of those things like
Vince Scully and Marnzi are the best at it, having
conversations with yourself, right, It's like you're you're just basically

(38:09):
asking yourself questions and you're answering your your own questions. Buddy,
I know we've paid there. You're doing. You're doing a
great job. Yeah, Cardinal called me. I was just gonna
go out of town to actually do some stuff. Yeah,
I know, so it's good. Uh, hey we're back, buddy.
What do you What do you got riding today? I'm
on Texas plus the eleven and a half and in
that college game, and uh, I got a couple of

(38:30):
other things going a lot lots of hockey stuff later
on tonight. But what are you writing right now? Yeah?
So I I talked about those three twelve o'clock games
and I liked, uh. I thought Providence getting the points
was worth to look there. They've been playing some really
really good ball there. I know, no, it is great,
but seven and a half for me, was was a
little bit too high there. I thought Iowa would be
able to pull away from Penn State. They're only up
by one at a half, but it was only four

(38:51):
and a half to low numbers, so that's still up
in the air. And I agree with you on Texas.
Texas has been playing like some sneaky good basketball here.
Cam to me, the long warm are a bit of
a play on right now. They've covered three in a
row and the West Virginia game is really the one
that tilts it right like they were dogs. I understand
that they were home, but they were dogs in that
game win by ten. I've been impressed by Texas. Yeah,

(39:13):
Texas has been playing great. Uh the thing is they
got to go on a real heat or too if
they want to get into the tournament there and they're hanging.
They're only down five right now to the Red Raiders.
But Chakra smart, you know what. People criticize him, but
I still think he's a very good coach. He's doing
the best he can with his players. And I thought
eleven and a half was way too many. I would
have made this line probably around eight and a half nine,

(39:33):
But throwing down five, hopefully, uh, they can keep it
close and then we can get the cover there. But
uh yeah, man, I'm with you too. I like Iowa
over Penn State. It's just one of those teams in
the Big ten, the home teams you gotta like. And
uh yeah, there's a lot of other stuff. And I'm
looking at the card keV at one o'clock your Iona Gales, Yes, Niagara.

(39:55):
I mean, you know, it's pretty funny though, camb But
I'm doing and it's it's day by day, we're chopping away.
I'm turning Iona into the team of the network. I
was on that we were doing the basketball show at
Jared and he he's like, yeah, my best bet of
the day the other day was the Iona gals and
uh they went and they blow the doors off a Kinecius.
They're now laying two and a half on the road,
Like how about how about the gals? Like they would

(40:16):
have ever had they would have never been road favorites recently, Like,
so here they are, they're rolling the two and a half.
I love him, I love him. I I think that
they're They're absolutely a play on. This is a conference
that they have for years been the class of They
lost their head coach and for a long time like
that it was because of clues. Clues has been comfortably

(40:38):
and I don't know, there's no debate on this group,
Like there's no debate. He has been the best coach
in this conference for years and it was a it's
a massive adjustin, Like we look, you're talking about superstar injuries.
Like imagine if I told you the past didn't have
Bill Belichick for for eight games. Let's use this example.
U C l at there from Cincinnati. It took up

(40:58):
a while, but now they're blank. At basketball, it's not
gonna happen overnight, right. Look at hockey, the Minnesota Wildfire,
Bruce Boudreaux. They lose what did nothing to the Sharks,
one of the worst teams in the league, and now
they're on a heater. They've scored twelve goals and what against.
Their last two games were playing great. Right. It takes
a while, you know, sometimes a couple of games, sometimes
longer than that. But uh, I'm with you. I gotta ride.

(41:19):
I own it with you, buddy. That's our team. I
own it for life. I ownA for life. Like that's
where we're now. This is perfect. You know. When I
found out to Cam and my my buddies were pretty
mad at me. So I have a group chat with
three of my college roommates and the other day, for
some reason, it hit me that the n C that
the MAC Tournament is in Atlantic City, and so I

(41:41):
sent them a text. I was like, I was like, fellas,
I'm I have feeling like I was just not paying attention.
I feel like this has been discussed here before. This
tournaments in Atlantic City, and they're like, first of all,
you're an ass, Like it's We've talked about it numerous times,
but I'm like, all right, Like what's the plans here? Like,
like what are we cooking up? You know what I mean? Cam?
Like when are you? When are you and gay supposed
to be hitting Atlantic City? Yeah, I don't know what

(42:04):
we're gonna do, but it's gonna be probably from March, Madness.
I've never I've never been to Atlantic City. It's a
many places in America. I've been to like every state
but Hawaii, right, So I Atlanska? Yeah, Oh yes, I've
been to Alaska. I used to live up in the
Canadian Arctic, so I went over to Alaska. Yeah, I was.
I was actually pretty close to Alaska where I used
to live. So yeah, I've been there. I've been everywhere, buddy,

(42:24):
except for Hawaii. Too expensive, But I'd like to make
that trip to Atlantic City. Right. Some cape was telling
me some places are cheap. They're like, you know, some
hotels are expensive, but you could get a good deal
on of you. So I gotta, I gotta, you know,
if the tournaments there, keV I and I have money,
I'm gonna I'm gonna go there from March madness for sure.
I think a lot of the listeners, Rigs and some

(42:44):
other guys that game those, I think they're all coming down,
so it could be. It could be a big party.
We can make it work. Yeah, I think the mac
tournament would be like the week before. I think it's
maybe from like the tenth of the fourteenth or something
like that. And um, so I'm gonna see if I
can maybe like just go for a day, you know,
the in game line schedule rotates. I want to just
try and even get down there, like even if I
don't stay the night, just kind of hang out and

(43:07):
uh and kind of check the scene there. But yeah,
I like, I like I own it. Today they're on
a heat or I think if you're playing against them, um,
that's just a wild decision right now. Uh, They're they're
continuously rolling, which is great stuff. I wanted to Can
you talk about one o'clock here the Islanders and the
Bruins are playing. This is an Islanders team, you know,
it's one of the teams. I feel like I have
a decent framework reference of like how they've been playing

(43:30):
because I have a you know, close friend of mine
at work who's a massive Islanders fan, and he's always
and I just if he talks to me about him,
they're doing well. And if I don't hear from him,
I know that they're They're playing awful, and I haven't
heard about as much about the Islanders. I actually watched
a little bit of that game against the Rangers the
other day. They went to overtime their their home dogs
here against the Bruins. How do you feel about that one?

(43:51):
The Bruins are awesome, but I'm actually gonna take the
Islanders at plus what twenty five? They got great news
last night with me and uh, what's all we're doing
the show? Sorry, Kevin, A little bit stuffed up. I
gotta sleep machine, and I gotta blow it out in
the next hour here. But uh yeah, like it's like
basically water going up anyway. No one wants to hear
about that. Yeah, you got sleep app I like it.

(44:12):
Pash has been good for these guys since he's been there.
I think that's fantastic. I think the total might be
a little bit light too. But the Islanders understand there's
a huge game against Boston. A lot of teams, it's
a tight playoff race. Boston's cruising right now. I think
it's a letdown spot for Boston. I think the Islanders
after getting the news that they're gonna stay in NASA
all hold games next year Governor Cuomos today, I think

(44:34):
that's a positive thing. People hated when they went to Brooklyn.
That's their team on the island. So I really think
it's gonna be uh an infused good situation with New York.
Give me the Islanders plus one. That's something can that
I actually wanted to ask you about because again, as
I know, like Islanders fans cannot stand they hated the building,

(44:56):
and well that's the thing that the crowd isn't as good.
So you know, like I could look up right like
on the surface at s numbers, right, like, let me
see if I could potentially you're pretty identical actually between
the two buildings. That's what I was gonna ask, Like,
I'm curious if if people would rather play on them
in one building as opposed to the other, are they
ever priced differently opposed to with the two buildings. Nope,

(45:19):
always always the same. But the thing is, if you
live on the island and buy Hofstra at all the
other schools there, why the hell would you want to
go into Brooklyn. You're the New York Islanders, that's your team.
It's kind of like a disservice to these guys. They
don't want to come in there. That's their special thing
that they have. And now with building the arena at Belbot,
I think that's gonna be fantastic bad so that things
look good for the Islanders moving at the Futer. Yeah,

(45:40):
it's and you know, like there is a sense of
pride with the Islanders that some New York teams don't have, right,
like the Giants and the Jets playing Jersey and like
you see it in baseball a little bit with the
Mets and the Yankees, with the Queens and the Bronx,
but like it's not in the name, you know what.
I like, the Rangers are kind of everybody's team, Like
the Islanders. Is something for the that the Island held

(46:00):
onto because in all serious and it's like there's not
a part of the Burrows. They don't get that same respect.
Like you know, like there are teams that are New
York that play in Jersey and that's so like New
York and New Jersey like they come together on it.
But you know, like Brooklyn nets like there. The Island
never had their thing other than the Islanders, so there
was a lot of pride. And that's like even even

(46:22):
Islanders fans that weren't from the island or like, no,
this is bs like that out and this doesn't belong there.
It is And I've been. I've been to that rink
and I'll tell you keV it's a glorified roller rink.
It's a dub but it but it feels like home.
It's like comfort food. And now you know, basically they're
gonna fix that. You know it's good enough for now

(46:42):
and that this Belbont Park Arena, it's gonna be fan tasting,
like I can't wait. I think it's gonna be great
for the Islanders. They you gotta remember when I grew up,
the Islanders were the best team at hockey. Was that
with the Oilers all the time when I was a kid,
right so that they tagged they were horrible for many
years and then now they're kind of building it back.
So it's really nice to see the NHL needs the

(47:03):
Islanders that I'm happy for them. With the Leafs lose
the second best, like I always cheer for the Islanders,
like if it's in the playoffs. If my team goes out,
the Islanders are like the second team. I I don't
like Pittsburgh. I don't like, you know, the Islanders. I've
always had a saft spot in my heart for these guys,
even though they have but the Leafs don't like each other.
It's just one of those things when I was a kid.
When I was a kid, all my friends like the

(47:24):
Oilers because Grensky or whatever, and you know, be keV.
I like Scott Wetzel. I actually am opposite picks. I
actually had to cheer for the Islanders just to tell
my buddies to have off, you know, so say Oilers, Oilers, Hey,
we love it. I'm like, you know, Islanders goods like
you know, It's just one of those one of those
things to be different than your buddies, you know. It's funny.

(47:45):
I pissed my brother off enough into becoming a Bulls
fan once because I loved I loved Kevin Garnett. And
when he went to Boston as much like I don't
love Boston, I was excited for him to like have
a chance to win a title and it was them
in like Chicago, we're playing it was like this incredible
seven game series and I was like, that's called Like
I was screaming and I and he didn't tell me

(48:07):
for like years, but I was like, oh, I guess
he just likes the Bulls or whatever. And he's like,
do you understand that I like the Bulls because like
I hated that you couldn't stop cheering for the Celtics.
And I'm like, oh, would you look at that? Like
I just I turned them pretty much into a Bulls
fan now. And it's like of all the teams, but
it's like, you know, it's the Bulls are the Bulls,

(48:28):
Like it's not gonna be crazy. You know, two gangers
were coming up close against the break and if you're
up for because I you know, we talked futures all
the time on the shows, but there's never you know,
really people as much I can sink their teaching teeth
in the hockey futures and you know, there's a look,
there's a lot of plus money on the board here.
You know, it's not like you know, you're talking about
the Milwaukee Bucks that minds of Buck six and five

(48:48):
to represent the East or you know, you think back
other years like the NBA, the wards like odds on
to win the whole thing, so we can look Anna
hit that. On the other side, there's no other games
that are like tipping off at one. We've covered those
right there and some others that are live up. I'd
love to talk some NHL futures uh next. That's exactly
what we'll do on Out the Window with Kevin Walsh
and Camp Stewart
