Speaker 1 (00:02):
Peace to the planet. I go by the name of
Charlemagne and God. Here with a T and T Black
future Makers presented by a T N T dreaming Black
and we're talking with black creators who are shaping the now,
the new, and the next for coaches black the business
over here, Well man, my son was having a brother
peace came. How are you feeling? Tell us the top
three things you which more black folks knew about your

(00:24):
world and your profession. That is, it's actually a job.
People think that what we do is just we grab
picket signs or we're just outside and doesn't require a
skill level. And it feel like a job. Not for me,
I mean, because I feel like it's my purpose. So
you know when they say when you're living and you
when you work a job that you're supposed to work,
it feels like you've never worked with in your life.

(00:45):
Do you see yourself is paving the way for other
young black talent to come behind you? I hope. So
the reason why I think I got inserted into this
work is because I didn't see myself when I looked
at activism and I looked at people who spoke out
for us, they didn't look like me. So hopefully some
young black kid from our community sees itself in movement
and takes a quote. What are some misconceptions about the

(01:08):
work you're doing that is fake? You know a lot
of people think that the movement is just fake. We're
just trying to get money. We just it's a hustle
and it's the furthest thing from that. People think when
you're activist, you're not supposed to have levels of succession.
They only have this vision of poor righteous teachers. And
I think that's so bad because the fact that Martin, Luther,
King and Marcolm died when they weren't wealthy and didn't

(01:30):
have things to pass on to their family after they
sacrifice they live for this movement is a catastrophe. What's
your future maker mantra? Oh that's simple. I'm a king
and I'm chasing greatness. If I can't control myself and
I can't control anything. Wow, my man, might song man,
Thank you, my brother. For more real talk from creators
