your story. What would the first line of that story be?
Here's the tale about the hardest working man ever to
do R and B music. Do you see yourself paving
the way for other young black talent from the younger
black talent coming up? Absolutely, That's part of my purpose
to serve and to inspire. I guess you can never
have enough life, but I feel like I've had my
share of it. Now it's easier for me to step

back out of it and push other guys forward into
it and just give them an opportunity at twenty two years.
What is a misconception is about the work you do
that is easy. Everybody thinks that they can do it,
you know, they think that they can just turn on
all the tune and they can be an R and
B singer, that's just not the case. When was the
time somebody doubted you when you proved them wrong. I
go back to the beginning of my career, the rust Ends,

who are my guys? They used to kind of front
of me, and so one show they got there early
enough to see my show, and when I saw them,
I went absolutely crazy. And when I finished, that was
the first time they ever stopped and talked to my boy,
who was a mentor who changed your life. If you
have to be between Juniorine and Jamie Foxx, because Jinuine

got me started, Jamie Foxx kept me in it. What's
