My name is Tierra Sims. I just graduated from the
Elshiusnowfolk State University. My nature was electrical engineering. I was
taking on new challenges and push myself.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
Would you say being an HBCU student has.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
Changed you oh for the better? Yes? Definitely. I feel
like I definitely wouldn't be the woman I am today
without have attending an HbCO.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
What does it mean to you to be recognized as
an AT and T Rising Future Maker?

Speaker 2 (00:46):
It changed my life for the better. It gave me
networking opportunities, exposures. It's giving all of us a platform
and to be able to speak and express our ideas
and career goals and what we have planned for our future.
It's crazy Bill Black managing sometimes with all their own
amazing opportunities they've given us. You're seeing your real life impact. Yeah, yeah,

Or statement that has inspired you throughout your journey, what
would it be.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
I don't think this is from Drake. I feel like
it is because there's us and when it's song mine
as setback for a major comeback. I'm a martial artist too.
I don't know if I mentioned that, but a little
stuffs may set you back. You might have obstacles. You're
gonna always have obstacles in lives, but like just know
each time, like you're gonna come back harder and you're
gonna overcome whatever challenge is getting your way.
