Speaker 1 (00:01):
Hey, well, welcome back to beat your happy Hour. I'm
Joe and we are here today with Blake moins Play. Welcome.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
It's nice to catch up every once in a while,
isn't it? It is? It is, it is.

Speaker 1 (00:14):
Where are you?

Speaker 3 (00:16):
I'm in Costa Rica right now, in the Limont area.
Yeah that is, but yeah, it's nice right along the coast.

Speaker 1 (00:22):
I did talk to them on I called the did that?

Speaker 4 (00:26):
Oh my god?

Speaker 5 (00:28):
I called the center that you're working when Sooner actually
confirmed you were there?

Speaker 4 (00:35):
That was over on Sunday.

Speaker 1 (00:36):
The guy answered. The guy answered, and he's I'm like,
can you tell me what room? Could you connect me
to Blake Moyes's room. He's like, sir, hotel, Yeah, hotel,
I don't know, Blake, I go, I go. Can you
least can you let me know if Sosa was there?

Speaker 3 (00:56):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (00:56):
Yes, they wore here filming. I was like, okay, okay, that's.

Speaker 5 (00:59):
Good track, because everyone listening is going to be like,
why is Joe stalking Blake unprovoked?

Speaker 2 (01:05):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (01:06):
Yes, okay, so and Blake. This is kind of the
first time you're going to be hearing it coming from
my mouth because I had, I had. We were texting
and dming, but we haven't really spoke. So Serena and
I were coming back, coming back from iheartjingle Ball. We
were in the delta terminal at Lax and there was

(01:28):
rumors that we had heard over the time of being
at the jingle Ball that they were about to film
Hometown's for Taylor Frankie Paul and I just got it uncrustable.
I'm sitting there, I'm waiting, I'm eating my own crustable.
I'm fidgeting with my headphones, and it's over the over
the loudspeaker.

Speaker 5 (01:47):
You hear, you hear final boarding call for flight blah
blah blah blah, paging passengers.

Speaker 4 (01:53):
Insert producer's name on the Bachelor's.

Speaker 1 (01:56):
Producer who we know well. Her her name.

Speaker 5 (01:58):
Yep, and then a few other names, and then Blake
points and I look at Joe and I'm like, did
you hear that?

Speaker 4 (02:06):
Did you just hear what I think I just heard?

Speaker 1 (02:08):
And I'm like, I did I did hear that? Like
I did hear? Did she just say? Blake poins? Five
minutes later, they do it again, producer's name Blake Mooins.
So now I'm like, this crazy motherfucker went back on
the Bachelorette. I can't believe he's back on the Bachelorette.

(02:28):
So I instantly FaceTime you. You're not answering me, and we're
gonna get up. We're over by that gate. We're just waiting.
At this point, I'm like, we're catching you in the
act world.

Speaker 5 (02:37):
It's you and the producer runing to the gate because
you're about to miss your flight. And you guys just
see Joe and I standing there being like, Hi, what
the heck is going on? You're a menace. I can't
believe you're back on this show. But yeah, you guys
never show up obviously.

Speaker 1 (02:55):
Okay, So with all that information being said, Blake, the
floor is yours?

Speaker 5 (03:01):
Plead your case or are you on Taylor Frankie policies.

Speaker 4 (03:04):
Of the batch set?

Speaker 2 (03:06):
That is wild because I've never heard of another Blake mooins.

Speaker 3 (03:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
And the coincidence of everything plus.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
Knowing that, yeah, like I have done a couple of
them to go back again, as like, if there's anyone
that's going to do it, it's probably that fucker.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
Yeah, but it wouldn't. But it's not even that because
if it was anyone's name that I know, like you
don't hate your name's not Your name's not Blake Johnson,
because if it was Blake Johnson, I would say there's
definitely another Blake Johnson or Mike Johnson. But if Blake
Mooines is a particular name, you don't hear it too often.

(03:43):
You're the only Blake Mooins I know. So I don't
even know how to make sense of this unless.

Speaker 3 (03:49):
You're trying to convince yourself still that I was there somehow.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
Well, okay, but but why are they called?

Speaker 3 (03:54):
What the fuck is you?

Speaker 2 (03:55):
Who?

Speaker 1 (03:56):
There's another Blake Mooines with a Bachelor producer on the
same flight flying to Taylor Frankie Paul's season. I just
it's just it's just so insane to me. It's just
it's just a crazy coincidence. But you were not, I mean,
it's not you, right, No.

Speaker 3 (04:19):
Listen, we like the speculation, right, and like the thing
is is, like you know, I stuck on to Katie's
and so, you know, leave it up to the imaginations.

Speaker 2 (04:26):
Just gonna have to tune in and see, you know, but.

Speaker 3 (04:29):
Listen, I'm all over the world, so it's easy for
me to jump in there quick, you know, try to
make a Mark and then dip.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
It's not that. It's not that crazy and you'll just
have to watch.

Speaker 4 (04:41):
And Joe and I are so crazy.

Speaker 5 (04:42):
We're doing the math of like, Okay, if he got
sent home at the Rose ceremony after Hometowns, he could
have gotten on a flight last night and he could
be in Coast Rica by this morning, So it doesn't
actually mean he wasn't on the show, even if he
wasn't on this flight, Like we are doing.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
All can you posted your coaster footage? I go, that
is old footage. He's resurfacing. This guy's trying to be
slick and it's so obvious. Like I would have bet,
like me and Zach were going back and forth, I
would have bet him a lot of.

Speaker 4 (05:14):
Money, like what you did on Sunday. Now.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
So then we're sitting there Sunday and Zach's over. We're
sitting here, we're watching football. I like, I'm telling you
he's there. He's like, he's not there. Like I talked
to him, he's not there. I'm like, he's there. He's
lying to you. So I called I find out where
you are in Costa Rica? And I called the play.
I thought it was a hotel but it was like
it was like a rescue center and I was like, yeah,

(05:39):
connect us to Blake's room. He's like, Sir, I don't
know what you think this is, but I did get
the information that that Sosa was there.

Speaker 5 (05:46):
He goes, I'm actually looking for Sosa and they're like, oh,
so Sa, Yeah they're here.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
Yeah, so Sosa for everyone. Also, Sosa is Blake's wildlife company. Right,
do you want to talk about Sosa at all?

Speaker 4 (05:58):
Let's get into that.

Speaker 1 (05:59):
Yeah, I get into that because I.

Speaker 5 (06:01):
Basically talked for the first half minutes of this interview,
but we wanted to update you on the journey you
have sent a.

Speaker 1 (06:06):
So besides going back on Taylor Frankie Paul season at
the Bachelorette, what have you been up to Blake?

Speaker 3 (06:11):
So yeah, So, I mean listen as much as it
would be in a really interesting throw into that that season.
I'm not I'm not on Taylor Frankie Paul season. I
am currently in Costa Rica and here you can see
actually there's just a slough that we just just out
here up in this tree here out of Airbnb, and

(06:33):
we're out here with conservation organizations doing some work.

Speaker 2 (06:35):
John. So I'm not there. I got here on the third.

Speaker 1 (06:42):
Okay, what and.

Speaker 4 (06:44):
What were you doing before you went there?

Speaker 3 (06:48):
Well, I'm I'm through a lot of airports, right, so
those layovers, I was a bunch of different places, right.

Speaker 5 (06:54):
Okay, do you foresee yourself being the father of three
Mormon children anytime soon?

Speaker 3 (07:01):
I listen, like, I don't. I don't say never ever. Unlikely,
very unlikely. And that's what I'll leave you with. But
you know if we yeah, I think that.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
So when you are so you're so, explain to us
a little bit about what your company, SOSA is, and
like you're in Costa Rica. Now are you spending like
are you having like days off or you go like
hang out on the beach or are you just working
twenty four to seven? What does it look like?

Speaker 2 (07:29):
Uh? Yeah, I mean most most of the times it's
twenty four seven.

Speaker 3 (07:31):
This is a bit of a down day because we
just got out of an area where we had no
Wi fi uh for three days.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
And what's when I got your text of like so
like so like all this.

Speaker 3 (07:41):
Stuff, and I'm like, when there's multiple people in you know,
in this in this world message me that I'm freaking
out thinking, like what's happening in Sault, Like, why is
everyone asking me about in Salt? Like, what's happening in Salt? Like, No,
we's got out of an area, no Wi Fi, no
cell service for three days. Sosa Sabors Piece of Alliance
is my wildlife conservation organization. It's a company's a for profit.

(08:03):
We work with multiple nonprofits in the space all over
the world. And that's why I'm traveling NonStop and could
have pacily passed through wherever you guys were at the airport.
But yeah, out here just doing work with different nonprofits.
We're actually setting up an experience here and helping leverage
some of the initiatives that are happening with our nonprofit partners.

(08:24):
Uh So we're media storytelling, doing some vetting to make
sure that we are aligning with the right you know,
reputable organizations that are doing solid good work.

Speaker 1 (08:34):
What animals are are out there in Costa Rica? Like
I feel like you always go like and I'm ignorant
when it comes to what you do, but like like
you're like, oh, maybe we'll go see penguins. Like is
there like a certain like animal that you are trying
to conserve right now?

Speaker 2 (08:55):
No, that's that's well, but that's the way you put it.

Speaker 1 (08:58):
Yeah, thank you, thank you.

Speaker 2 (09:01):
Yeah, it's good. These are these are two way streets.

Speaker 3 (09:03):
You're gonna learn a lot and the more that we
have these chats show you'll be an expert by the
end of it. But down here it's it's very diverse,
so you could have anything. We went on on a
night hike and we like walked on fertilance is one
of the most venomous snakes all different types of amphibians.

(09:25):
What is it called a verti lance.

Speaker 1 (09:27):
So it's so if you get if you get bit
by that snake with survival trans if.

Speaker 3 (09:35):
You're not getting treatment, you're you're in a heap of
trouble for sure. Like if and especially in the areas
that we're at, if you're not getting medical tension, you're
in trouble. And we're walking down the trail the night.
We've got our headlamps on and flashlights, and this juvenile
essentially was blended right into the trail. You would have
not known it's there, and if I was leading, I
probably would have stepped on it and been in in

(09:57):
a lot of trouble. And then we slowed down for
the rest of the the hype because we ran into
another one that was like a foot and a half long.

Speaker 5 (10:05):
Oh my god, you didn't have to the first one.
Go like, let's circle back, let's get out of here.

Speaker 3 (10:10):
In this specific area where we were in the altitude
in this like wetland, marshy, like mountainous range. Essentially, they're
all over the place. You can't you can avoid them.
You just have to have your eyes peeled especially.

Speaker 4 (10:24):
You know they're there. You know there's gonna you're going
to encounter them. It's just how to do it safely.

Speaker 3 (10:29):
Yeah, And I just didn't realize there's going to be
just the extent in which we we did. But yeah,
I mean there's there's all sloths is a huge thing here,
right and you think about Costa Riki, you think about sloths.
So we have an alliance partner down here, a sloth
conservation Foundation which you do a lot of work with,
and we visited them today. But you know, we just
got to have a place called Paqua Reserve, which is
essentially this along this wildlife corridor. You can imagine that

(10:52):
farms are really taking over these these areas, and as
we encroach on wild habitat, how do you know jags
get around? Jaguars? How do all these animals get through
these places? And with their massive home ranges? So jaguars,
sea turtles, sloths, anything you could think of in Costa Rica. Uh,

(11:12):
it's it's yeah. We work with anything and everything whoever
needs help and whatever initiative is, you know, need support.

Speaker 1 (11:19):
Basically when you say, like, okay, so if you would
have stepped down that snake, you would have been in
a heap of trouble because but.

Speaker 2 (11:34):
Do you have.

Speaker 1 (11:36):
Doctors or any medical help with you on these walks,
because you know, like let's say you did get like bit,
are you done? Is life over?

Speaker 3 (11:48):
Well, it's then it becomes a then the clock starts right.
So depending on the snake and all have a you're
gonna have a different reaction based on the type of
the type of venom that they have.

Speaker 2 (12:01):
So and some are more potent than others.

Speaker 3 (12:04):
And so it's just a matter of okay, what in
our first aid kit do we have and we have
snake bite you know things, but it's only going to
buy you time.

Speaker 2 (12:12):
It's not going to solve the issue. So kind of.

Speaker 3 (12:17):
It's like having something that you have a kit that's
going to help with whatever the bite is, but it's
not gonna Curio's not an anti venom that you can get,
you know, at a local medical center. So it's a
matter of what's the evacuation look like, what's the time
going to take? You know, how can we slow down
this the spread? Most most importantly, it's like, okay, make
sure that we're wearing the right equipment so that if

(12:39):
a snake does bite, it's preventable.

Speaker 2 (12:42):
It's preventable. But we weren't actually that night, But is
what it is?

Speaker 1 (12:47):
Do you like, do you like before going on this
trail or wherever you go are, do you have a
like an emergency like like do you know, hey, we
are thirty five minutes from this point from the narest
hospital and you know, as we get you know, as

(13:08):
we get an hour into the trail, that means we're
an hour thirty five minutes, Like do you know all
those things do you have like points?

Speaker 2 (13:15):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (13:15):
And like this is in a scenario where we're want
this was like a private thing. So we went out
with a leading researcher scientist in this space in Amphibian specifically,
so he's lived for twenty five years in this massive
fifty hector property. So we're with somebody that can get
us to help, like super super quick now from a

(13:36):
phone call to have service, and all our phones even
have service in these scenarios, so we have like emergency
devices like garment and spot and things for more out
there scenarios like in Alaska, you know we're with grizzlies
and things like those are more scary to me because yeah,
you're just completely screwed in that scenario.

Speaker 2 (13:52):
You're a flight away from help.

Speaker 3 (13:55):
But yeah, we're we're always taking you know, all the
precautions and especially when we have trips where were bringing
people out right, you're taking care of guests. So everything
has to be dialed in for rescue plans, evac plans,
risk management plans, all.

Speaker 2 (14:08):
Those things are in place.

Speaker 4 (14:10):
What is so SUS stand for.

Speaker 3 (14:13):
So SOSAY is Save our Species Alliance. So essentially, the
alliance can be multiple things. It could be organizations that
are out here doing the work. It could be people
that are supporting us. It could be professionals, it could
be other conservationists. So it's an alliance of people trying
to save our species essentially, and that is a broad scope.

Speaker 1 (14:32):
And if like so if Serena and I, if I
was like, I want to we want to experience wildlife
like somewhere somewhere in the world, we would go on
your website or I don't know how we would do
how would we go about? Like but do you do
you take people on trips?

Speaker 2 (14:49):
Essentially?

Speaker 3 (14:49):
That is part of it, right, Yeah, so we directly
in most cases, I would say, right at this point,
it's like eighty five percent we go directly to the NGO,
So we curate specifically with the NGO.

Speaker 2 (15:02):
So there's what's.

Speaker 3 (15:03):
Minimizing nonprofit organization basically, So any of these in the space,
we curate with them directly, so that we're minimizing the
amount of money that has to go to subcontractors or
operators one, because then we can fund their organizations, their
initiatives more so, more money funnels to them directly. But
then for people coming on, right, people that want to

(15:26):
come on our trips are wanting to be more than
just a passive tourist, Like they want to get involved.
They want to be involved in a rhino de horning
and like you know, work with animals and see how
this science actually contributes to conservation and meet these experts
in the field, some of which are renowned that we
work with. So that's how we curate our programs. We've

(15:48):
got to like dial it back a little bit. Some
of them are too intensive, because Joe, we'd like to
have you know, your demo come out, you know what
I mean, and you feel safe you know it's coming out,
and maybe something a little bit more or just like, yeah,
I don't.

Speaker 1 (16:02):
Like to, Like I I am interested and I would
like to do it, but I don't ever want to
be in a position where man if I would have
stepped on that snake a little to the left, I'd
be a goner.

Speaker 2 (16:12):
Like yeah, I want to be in.

Speaker 4 (16:14):
The forest at night, let alone with the snakes.

Speaker 1 (16:16):
No, I wouldn't mind being there at night. I just
I want to make sure that I am safe and
if I am gonna die, like I want to die
like I want to. I want to. I want to
die in one like one sweep, Like I don't want
to get bit by a snake and have venom seeping
through my body for forty five minutes and go that

(16:37):
way like if I'm gonna die.

Speaker 5 (16:39):
Like a low risk excursion, yeah, yeah, or to kill themselves.

Speaker 3 (16:44):
I mean, the other part of this, right is like
for example, doing that what we did with the snakes.

Speaker 2 (16:48):
It's like.

Speaker 3 (16:50):
If we're we're there right now to actually set up
in that and see what does our costwork experience look
like for guests. So if we're going to go do
this again and bring guests through, okay, are we to
sweep this whole route first before we even bring people on?

Speaker 2 (17:03):
This?

Speaker 3 (17:03):
Is this something that is optional? And you know, not
everyone has to go on this part of it. It's
not like we're bringing people into you know, venomous snake
areas on the constant. And there's a variation of the
type of experiences that we give people and not all
of them are intents of Like Botswana for example, coming
up in April, it's very much luxury heavy with youth

(17:27):
education built in. And you're like you're in helicopters flying
into these back private lodges and it's not as crazy
as you're potentially picturing all of our experiences.

Speaker 1 (17:39):
And then do you have like a max amount of
people that you will take on a trip, Like is
it like okay, we have you know, this is a
slot for fifteen people once it fills done.

Speaker 3 (17:51):
Yeah, And they'll vary. So for example, imagine if you're
we're going diving with sharks. For example, one, if I'm
in the water and I've got fifteen people to be
care with with you know, multiple sharks coming in and
out depending on visibility and all those things, then I'm
panicking the whole time because It's impossible to to react
or manage people in that scenario. So that's like six

(18:12):
people max. It can go to eight when we're in
backcountry in Alaska with grizzlies and you know, camping with
like electric bear fences out. Like, the more people in
these higher risk situations with wildlife, the more risky it get.
So what is that what is that boundary or that
that cut off that it's immersive enough, safe enough, you know.

(18:35):
And then there's ones like Botswana, Maldives that were running
that are twelve thirteen high as fifteen, So it really depends.

Speaker 4 (18:45):
Do you have a trip coming up that you're excited about.

Speaker 3 (18:50):
Yeah, there's I mean, there's so many new ones coming up.
I mean in terms of what we're offering. The brand
new one coming out as Maldives and that sold out
pretty quickly. The nice thing is we built a community
so are what we call wild Ones. Wild Ones is
our community of people who have been on multiple trips
at this point, some of them been on five. So

(19:12):
typically one person comes on one, they're coming on many
because they're finding like minded people who like this type
of adventure and travel, and so all of these will
be an interesting one. We're going down and doing shark
science and diving and snorkeling and all that kind of thing,
but it's again it's luxury. We're island hopping around. The
other trips that we're setting up potentially being here, Costa Rica,

(19:34):
the Amazon, Australia, Galapagos, what else. We're going to form
one in Canada working on that. So yeah, there's a
bunch coming up. But then there's also a little different
projects in Orca. Maybe Tiger wears more hands on projects,
not with guests but specifically just the social team.

Speaker 1 (20:01):
Last time I was with you, you were a single man.
Are you still single? And I imagine you are because
I know you are, so question Yeah, I just answered
my own question. But that's just how we do it
things sometimes, how like yeah, like, what what's it like

(20:25):
like have you thought about like dating someone serious with
with having this company? Now, because it does seem like
like the more I the the longer I've known you,
it seems like you are like it seems like you're
getting busier every year, which busy in your case means
you're you're really just you're gone, like you're off the grid.

(20:46):
So what I guess, what does dating look like?

Speaker 2 (20:48):
I think that's it. That is the most challenging.

Speaker 3 (20:54):
I think, I mean, I this is this is the
most challenging piece for him because I have everything else,
like go like, I'm very happy right Like, I'm living
a very purposeful life.

Speaker 2 (21:05):
Like it's exciting. You know.

Speaker 3 (21:07):
The team now is at seven eight, we're bringing on
a couple more. And so with that though investing so much.
I mean, listen, when I came off the backs of
the first time, like you know, there's all these different
opportunities and the brand deals and all the things.

Speaker 2 (21:23):
It's not the same anymore as it.

Speaker 3 (21:24):
Once was, as we all know, right, But all that money,
anything that came from that, all of my posting, everything
I did socially was about wildlife and you know, promoting
these initiatives and like trying to garner funding and like
bring awareness.

Speaker 2 (21:38):
To these things.

Speaker 3 (21:39):
So I have dumped so much from five years ago
into now, but even more so. I mean I've listened.
I've sold my house, put all anything I made in
my house into this. I've pulled investments to put it
into it. So you know, when you invest that much
into something that you also love so much, it seems
to always take priority. But only more or so in

(22:00):
the last six months, where like time is now like
we've brought on all these new hires and if you're
gonna make it happen, like your energy needs to go
into that. But I do suffer and struggle because I
have no social life when it comes to to meeting people.
I don't meet people in Costa Rica in the jungle
when we're sweating buckets and disgusting, and your mind's not
even in that. You know, when you have so much

(22:21):
going on, you have to execute on so many things.
So when I'm home, like, yeah, I might meet somebody
for a date. But I think the struggle is this
is even as as credible, as incredible as they can be,
or I walk away from a date and be like
great girl, and like.

Speaker 2 (22:40):
It's such a disservice to.

Speaker 3 (22:44):
I don't want to cut myself off because I'm also
it's unhealthy to like completely close the door and like, but.

Speaker 1 (22:50):
You are in a way, in a way you you
and it's not like this is an uncommon scenario. You're
you're someone who's essential married to your work. For now,
like you're you're like your what you're doing, your passion
is your job. You have everything writing in it, so
it's gonna come first you no matter how great the

(23:14):
day it is.

Speaker 2 (23:15):
I mean, right, definitely, the thing is is I do where?
So we've came to this pinnacle.

Speaker 3 (23:20):
Essentially, my brother, thankfully works reporter as a pilot, has
left his day job. Within he was doing a lot
of the actual training, so working in the office the
times he wasn't flying, so you like you know, fly
certain mount hours per week. Essentially, he's now coming on board.
He's taking his master's in business. We align on everything,

(23:41):
so he's gonna be able to take my seat essentially
to like help free up time a lot of my
time because I can't continue at this pace. Number one,
for like my own social you know, relationship healthy with friends, family,
let alone, you know, relationship romantically, and then just burn out.
Like it's as much as it looks glamorous to do

(24:03):
this consistently. Like there's times where I came out of
I was in Australia, Thailand, Kenya on the border of Somalia,
back to Zambia, back to Kenya, South Africa within you know,
a two month period. It didn't touch home and it's
like you just burn out. I was right. I was like,
I want to go home. And who says that when
they're in Kenya? Right, So we have things have to change,

(24:27):
things have to change here. But I do see, you know,
some light at the end of the tunnel here finally
with things rounding out and these new hire settling in
and my brother coming on, where I can start to
like live a little bit, and you know, there was
another opportunity and Joe, I know I mentioned to you
where there was two different opportunities that presented me for

(24:49):
other networks and things. And last minute I pulled out.
I was like, I can't go and do this. I'm
not ready for this. And if if I'm not going
to be fully present and no, I can't give energy.
If I meet someone who's absolutely incredible and they see
me as lack of effort, you know, lack of energy
and time to something I want to give but can't,
and they see like this guy doesn't give a shit,

(25:10):
He's just one of these another one of these guys.
It's like, it's not that I'm like doing it out
of anything other than just really trying to make you know,
this dream really work. And I don't want to It's
almost like I don't want to meet someone that I
really like in this period when I can't give them.
I don't want them to see me in a light
that is not me normally when things settle and I
have the time and energy to give somebody that they

(25:32):
you know, deserve, especially someone.

Speaker 2 (25:33):
That I really like. What is.

Speaker 1 (25:38):
Incredible to you? Like, do you do you think you
need to find a partner who is who is as
ambitious as you are? Like that is that a deal
breaker for you? Do you need someone who is also
in love or at least knows their passion?

Speaker 2 (25:53):
Because I do.

Speaker 1 (25:54):
You know, there is a lot of people, There are
a lot of people out there that they haven't found that.
There are a lot of people out there that are
just like chilling and happy with what they do, but
like it's not their passion, they don't really care that
much about it.

Speaker 3 (26:09):
I think there's two different ways with this. I think one, Yeah, fantastic.
They're ambitious and have all their things going on, right
I understand the importance of feeling supported right like, and
if I don't have some of that understands and supports,
then I'm it's always going to feel like I've got
to choose and.

Speaker 2 (26:31):
I don't want to ever have thating.

Speaker 3 (26:32):
So one, having someone that has something that they're passionate
about or ambitious or drive would be great because one,
it's like, you know, there's the talk and alignment across
you know, both of our passions or projects where we're
working on. You know, it's supportive and having that that
layer support is huge. Now flip side, most people don't
have that totally fine, and I never really did until

(26:55):
six years ago when I realized this is what I wanted
to do.

Speaker 2 (26:58):
And if it's more of a.

Speaker 1 (27:01):
Sedentary anyways, I know what we're looking.

Speaker 2 (27:05):
For, Jesus.

Speaker 1 (27:07):
Ambitious guys, fucking idiots.

Speaker 2 (27:09):
We can't even yes, but you know what you know, yes.

Speaker 1 (27:14):
I know the word.

Speaker 2 (27:15):
Yeah. That is also.

Speaker 3 (27:20):
Seems so great to want to come home too, right
where I can check out and come back to that
and like settle into that, But I think I need
to be in a better place to be able to
check out and be more present when I'm with that
person and we can just settle into what life will
be and what family would be, and like going to
the gym and going to get as SMOOTHI or whatever

(27:41):
those things are. But if my mind is always another
place because of all these crazy things happening, then that
won't necessarily work and it won't be great for her.
And then the other thing is just at least understanding.
I don't like support an understanding, I think, and I
think you can see that like when I especially when
I date and things like when I speak about wildlife,

(28:02):
I get really riled up and I can get you know,
passionate about things, and so they can see that, and
so yeah, their understanding of everything and supportive. I don't
think it really matters what lane that that potential woman
is in.

Speaker 5 (28:17):
Yeah, I feel like you need someone who's either totally
cool with you being gone for work a lot, and
it's either like got their own thing going, or is
like you do you, I'm doing me at home, see
you when you get back, or is going to immerse
themselves in your work because it's a shared passion.

Speaker 2 (28:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (28:34):
The other the other thing that like and this is
this is the like what I there's so many times
where I'm out here doing this and like, you know
what it could be this really insane moment. I'm like, yeah,
it's great that I have like a team around me
that like it was like that was fucking crazy, Like
how incredible was that? But like to be able to
share that with someone that you love or someone that

(28:58):
has never done that before, where it's like you're bringing
like something to them that like is an experience or
an emotion or a feeling that they would never get otherwise.
It's like a gift, Like there's there's something to this,
Like if you're trying to think of like how can
you bring someone the most joy or like the best
life possible, It's like there's a lot of moments across

(29:19):
my life and all these experiences where I'm like, fuck,
it would be cool to like share this with somebody.

Speaker 2 (29:25):
So that day will maybe happen, But until then, just
keep doing my thing.

Speaker 1 (29:33):
Okay, would you uh, you got a question, would you
ever go back on let's say, let's say uh.

Speaker 5 (29:41):
For the sake of the hypothetical let's say you didn't
go on Taylor Frankie Paul's season, and Joe and I
are conspiracy theorists. If they came, she would said, we've
got a girl either on Paradise or as a bachelorette,
and we think that you guys would be a fit.

Speaker 4 (29:56):
Would you ever consider going back.

Speaker 3 (29:57):
On I mean yeah, I mean listen, I think depending
on this there and there's so many different factors obviously
Batchel that it's a bit of stretch because like that's
not really as fun like Paradise is fun.

Speaker 2 (30:14):
I think maybe a different.

Speaker 3 (30:18):
Concept and sense of, like I don't it would be
great to not go on something that is like buying
your person, find your person love or romance love love
like heavy heavy in that set. In that sense, maybe
a different concept or a blend or something is not
as serious in this exact moment where it's more playful,
it's not it's more easy going, where I don't feel

(30:39):
like that is the full premise of like you got
here to find love, right, because I know I won't
be able to deliver in that sense. Can I deliver
with entertainment and some crazy shit? Yeah, Like I could
do that for sure, And I don't shut away from that,
but it depends.

Speaker 1 (30:55):
I think, Yeah, that makes sense.

Speaker 5 (30:58):
We saw that you are going on the cruise, the
Bachelor Nation Cruise next November.

Speaker 4 (31:04):
What can you tell us about that.

Speaker 3 (31:08):
Well, for one, I think the reason that I'm looking
forward to it most is one I actually don't outside
of like seeing you guys the odd time Zach here
and there, like I don't really get to go and
do or involve myself too much in a lot of
this space as much as I used to. But I
do have a lot of fun when I'm in those

(31:29):
environments and diving into that. So one, I think it's
going to be fun to actually be with all of
these you know, people in this space that when I
haven't met, or some that I haven't.

Speaker 2 (31:38):
Seen in a long time.

Speaker 3 (31:40):
But it seems like there's a great list of activities,
and I know we're working through a bunch more and
I gave them a whole long list of some crazy
fun things we can be doing, and I.

Speaker 2 (31:49):
Know there's slowly rulling those outs.

Speaker 3 (31:50):
So there's a little morning chat where I'm going through
all my wild life stories and things and diving into
some crazy near death situations and just some behind the
scenes things. But yeah, I think it's gonna be three
days where for the most part, I've never had a
bad run in with someone who is again of the show,

(32:12):
and so I think it's gonna be super optimistic, fun, lighthearted,
and for me, it's a nice to be able to
check out and like actually go and do something that
doesn't feel like it's a job, and on vacation and
on a boat that is like luxury versus like a
rickety Amazon riverboat.

Speaker 5 (32:28):
Yeah, it's not like threatening snakes hopefully.

Speaker 1 (32:33):
Well, Blake, this was a lot of fun talking to you.
Always a pleasure. If you Oh, we'll be uh, We'll
be in Toronto for starting the nineteenth, for like twelve
days around Christmas. If you are around, we'd love to
get a drink.

Speaker 2 (32:51):
Yeah, I'll be back.

Speaker 3 (32:52):
I get back on the fifth, fourteenth, fifteenth, and then
I'm around for that whole period of time, Okay, And
I'm due, and I'm realistically I am due.

Speaker 2 (33:01):
I drink like four times a year. Four times a year.

Speaker 3 (33:04):
I usually let loose a little bit too much on
those four times just to make up for all the
times in between.

Speaker 2 (33:08):
But you know, that's where I'm the most fun.

Speaker 1 (33:10):
Yes, all right, well yeah let me I'll hit you
up or hit me up when you are in the city.
And to all our listeners, thank you guys so much
for tuning in the bet you're happy, or make sure
