Speaker 1 (00:02):
Welcome back to Batcher Happy Hour. This is part two
with Joey and Kelsey earned joe.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
And I'm Serena and welcome back guys.
Speaker 1 (00:09):
It's it's been a while to be here.
Speaker 3 (00:13):
So the question I ended the last interview with is Kelsey,
did did you feel like you were kind? I want
to want to say a shoe in, but like you
were on Joey's mind a lot and that you were
probably going to make it the hometown before you guys
started traveling.
Speaker 4 (00:32):
I don't know about before we were traveling, but once
we started traveling, they knew that Joey really liked me.
He gave me a lot of reassurance. But it's funny
because I don't know fully if all the girls knew
that because I wouldn't really talk about our relationship with
the other girls, like I always just kept it close
to me and I didn't feel like I needed to,
you know.
Speaker 5 (00:51):
I feel like they knew I was pretty obvious on
group dates I am now, I got notes on my
end that hey, like let's let's let's spread the love
a little bit more from time the time.
Speaker 6 (01:00):
So they had to know.
Speaker 7 (01:02):
Yeah, we did have a few girls come on and
say like, we're like, who do you think like he
has a really strong connection with? And I think it
was Lexi.
Speaker 2 (01:09):
Lexi.
Speaker 7 (01:09):
I feel like it is always like so honest in
our interviews with her, which is amazing, and she's like, yeah, no,
I knew he liked Kelsey the whole.
Speaker 2 (01:15):
Time, and we're like okay, cool, Yeah.
Speaker 6 (01:19):
Yeah, it's hard to hide. We had a strong connection.
Speaker 5 (01:22):
Really, Like I said from from after that, missus right
there was there's really not looking back.
Speaker 3 (01:27):
Was there a part of you that was kind of
always like worried that you you are going to have
feelings for more than one woman, but the one that
you feel the strongest for you don't want to room that.
Speaker 5 (01:43):
Yeah. We talked about that a ton. That was a
big conversation and it's definitely one of those things that's
hard to even understand. I've tried multiple times to express
how my feelings were, and I tried to hold it in.
I think you saw on that last day how I
explained that I only wanted to say I love you
too one person. I only wanted to fully express it
(02:03):
to to one. Even though I said falling in love
to two. My mindset of was I have to start
expressing some emotions because we're getting to that point. But
the falling in love is more like I can see
a future, like I'm starting to picture it. I'm just
not going to be fully in love with someone until
it's that final person. So I tried to hold back
as much as I could, but I knew when it
got to that point that there needed to be some
(02:25):
type of emotion shared, and we've talked through that. I
think that's it's a very weird part of this process,
but I know that my love was only strongest for her,
and I really tried as much as I could to
hold in as much as I can and keep it
for us, because I think that is important.
Speaker 3 (02:39):
Yeah, yeah, I mean listen, if it was if if
you just went with Kelsey right away, then we wouldn't
have a show.
Speaker 1 (02:44):
And exactly this one. This one worked.
Speaker 7 (02:49):
So we touched on how you guys kind of had
your first day in where was it in Spain? Again, Ronda,
You'd only to call it like Rotunda or something you
read your first day in Rohnda, and like that kind
of sealed the deal for like Kelsey being like, Yep,
I'm into it.
Speaker 2 (03:05):
I've shared my story.
Speaker 7 (03:07):
I want to talk about your next one on one
day in Jasper, because Joe had such a reaction to
this date because he was like, I literally can't believe
they just let them go sit at a bar all day,
Like this is such a fun date, Like how are
they allowing them to just hang out?
Speaker 2 (03:24):
How was that day for you guys?
Speaker 8 (03:26):
It was so fun? I loved that. Honestly, both of
my dates were pretty like chill.
Speaker 4 (03:31):
I felt like, you know, we hung out in the
bar in Jasper, and it just felt like we were
on a normal date and we were just hanging out and.
Speaker 8 (03:40):
Drinking beer, shooting pool.
Speaker 4 (03:43):
He taught me, you know, one or two tricks with that,
and it was just.
Speaker 8 (03:47):
A really good time.
Speaker 6 (03:48):
It was fun.
Speaker 5 (03:48):
You know, you obviously get the ability to like pick
the dates when you're trying to figure out who it
makes sense with, and I always tried to pick the
cultural dates with her where we had more time and
more in between, because I knew that you'd have those breases.
But when they explained what Jasper was, I was like, oh,
this is an awesome date. Like I did not expect
for us to be able to hang out a public
that the polar plunge was obviously the big thing, but
(04:09):
there was a whole like outside venue that we got
to hang out too, Like we ended up playing like
cornhole that day we had there was a whole like
maple syrup louge like we had a That Jasper date
was even better than when everyone saw, Like we got
a full day of just activities and walking around and
there was no break time either, which you know can
happen sometimes. Like we just got to be hand in
(04:29):
hand the entire time and just explore Jasper pretty much.
Speaker 6 (04:33):
So that date was unbelievable.
Speaker 8 (04:34):
Yeah, it was beautiful. It was just so stunning.
Speaker 2 (04:36):
There Kelsey, do you do coal plunges?
Speaker 7 (04:39):
Because you were like such a champ and I could
tell Joey like hate it every second.
Speaker 1 (04:42):
And how cold was it?
Speaker 5 (04:44):
It was thirty something to think it was high thirties,
maybe low forties, but it was. Yeah, I've done ice
past before and that was I had that feeling of
where you lose your breath right away.
Speaker 6 (04:55):
Yeah, he was.
Speaker 4 (04:56):
I told I was like, the thing you have to
do is like you have to like focus on your breathing.
Speaker 8 (05:02):
You have to you know, you can't just like hyperventilate.
Speaker 4 (05:04):
And that's what he was doing immediately, and I don't
know if you saw that, Like in a part of
the episode, you can see me being like, breathe.
Speaker 8 (05:11):
Because he was like I couldn't. He like couldn't breathe.
Speaker 6 (05:14):
We had a whole contexts too. She was like, I'm
going to stay longer than you.
Speaker 5 (05:17):
So that's why we took us so long to get
out of the water because we were waiting.
Speaker 6 (05:20):
For she was until she was done.
Speaker 5 (05:22):
Yeah, So we were like the last ones in there,
and then I was like I'm getting out you well,
I was like, I'm.
Speaker 1 (05:27):
Going to beat you.
Speaker 8 (05:27):
I'm going to stay longer.
Speaker 6 (05:29):
But that was your first time, you said, yeah, that was.
Speaker 8 (05:30):
My first time, though, but I've watched like YouTube videos on.
Speaker 1 (05:33):
It was your first.
Speaker 7 (05:35):
Yeah, it was your first time, and you're like instructing
him through the process of crazy so.
Speaker 5 (05:41):
Many times that's so embarrassing. Like I've done the hot
and cold therapy and I struggled and she was like
like through it, and I'm yeah, it was a lot.
Speaker 7 (05:51):
Maybe like the adrenaline rush for Kelsey helped a little bit,
you know what I mean, Like I feel like and
knowing like having done cold punches, not nearly Joe does
a lot of them.
Speaker 2 (06:02):
I've done it like maybe three times.
Speaker 7 (06:04):
I feel like knowing what I'm getting myself into when
I go into them makes it so much worse because
I'm like, oh, I know how bad this is gonna be.
Whereas when you don't and you're like, this is crazy,
this is fine, Like we're in this beautiful place, like
maybe you're adrenaline or you're just honestly a chap and
you found your new calling.
Speaker 8 (06:21):
Calling the polar plunk girl.
Speaker 5 (06:23):
And she was actually that excited too, like she lost
her mind. She was she wanted to do a polar
punch when she showed up. She wanted to jump in
the lakes. Yeah, it was all real that she couldn't.
Speaker 8 (06:32):
I was going to jump in the lake, like regardless.
Speaker 4 (06:34):
I was gonna do it off Campras though, but then
you know, we had to stay and it was amazing.
Speaker 2 (06:37):
I'm so excited doing it in open water.
Speaker 7 (06:40):
I've done a few, like in Canada, and then also
like in other places, it's way more fun than jumping
into a cold yeah, like the the environment makes it
so much more exciting.
Speaker 3 (06:50):
Day, Yeah, Kelsey, what I know, Like you guys went
to New Orleans and you had Begnet's, which is like
kind of like your typical New Orleans pastry.
Speaker 1 (07:01):
But what what is your favorite like restaurant?
Speaker 3 (07:04):
Like if if you were to take Joey around New
Orleans on your own.
Speaker 1 (07:08):
What would you do?
Speaker 4 (07:09):
I mean, like a good classic like New Orleans restaurant
would be Commander's Palace.
Speaker 1 (07:14):
Uh.
Speaker 8 (07:15):
Yeah, it's amazing.
Speaker 4 (07:16):
They've got you know, turtle soup, they've got gumbo, they've
got all the classics and banana Fosters.
Speaker 3 (07:22):
But I don't know.
Speaker 4 (07:23):
I love trying. I mean in New Orleans, there's so
many restaurants. I feel like you could try a new
place like every day. But that's so hard to choose
a favorite. Yeah, but yeah, I mean I just I
love New Orleans. I love running around trying, like jumping
into different places and how you can like you know,
(07:44):
just walk around with a drink in your hands.
Speaker 6 (07:45):
What was that place that I ended up going to?
Coushon Coushonka really good.
Speaker 8 (07:50):
That was really good, so good.
Speaker 4 (07:53):
Like such a variety of foods as well. They have
really great Italian like Sophia or Italian Barrel.
Speaker 8 (07:59):
Those are some really good places.
Speaker 6 (08:02):
Nice.
Speaker 2 (08:02):
Well, you're in for a treat when you come to
New York in terms of restaurants and fail.
Speaker 6 (08:08):
I was.
Speaker 5 (08:08):
We were even talking about it too, because I've been
doing so much back and forth with LA and New York,
and we talked about West Coast for a little bit too.
Is an idea, but after doing both, I've had so
much more fun during press when we've been in New York.
It's just the food, the atmosphere of the energy. It's
close to where I live in Philly too, so I'm
really excited to get out there.
Speaker 6 (08:27):
It's gonna be a good time.
Speaker 3 (08:29):
Yeah, if you love a big city like you really
can't really match the energy in New York.
Speaker 1 (08:34):
We we love it.
Speaker 3 (08:37):
What about let's talk a little bit about uh you
have There's a lot of drama at your season, Kelsey.
What are your thoughts on all of it? The Cindy, Maria,
all of it.
Speaker 4 (08:52):
I mean, I don't really think that I have much
to say about it. I just tried to stay away
from all of that. I didn't think that it was
any of my concern, So yeah, I mean, no comment.
Speaker 1 (09:04):
We really know.
Speaker 6 (09:05):
A lot too.
Speaker 5 (09:07):
We even when we talked about it before, like it
should be focus on the individual connections, and I give
her a lot of credit that she never really brought
up a lot of it unless it felt like it was.
Speaker 6 (09:16):
A part of what she would be involved in, but
she never really was. So yeah, we tried to be
I knew.
Speaker 5 (09:22):
That she deflected it the same way I would have
in that case, the focus on the connection and not
focus on all the other stuff.
Speaker 4 (09:27):
Yeah, I mean I wasn't involved in it. Yeah, I
mean I think that Sydney's great. I think that Maria
has great qualities as well, and it stinks that that's
what was highlighted for their journeys.
Speaker 3 (09:39):
Well, I mean that you didn't have to get involved
because Joey was taking you to private bars to hang out.
Speaker 6 (09:44):
So yeah, she was in a good spot.
Speaker 1 (09:48):
Yeah, you guys were you guys were chilling.
Speaker 2 (09:57):
Kelsey, you meeting Joey's family. How was that?
Speaker 7 (10:01):
I always feel like the person that goes second has
like a bit of a disadvantage no matter what happens,
no matter how amazing they are, because like you're going
after someone else. The only thing that we saw like
that maybe could have been a little bit of a
struggle was the talk of timeline and marriage and readiness
(10:21):
for an engagement with you know, his sisters.
Speaker 2 (10:26):
How was that?
Speaker 7 (10:27):
And then was there anything else additionally that day that
maybe didn't get to see.
Speaker 4 (10:31):
Yeah, I think that that conversation I didn't realize that
it was like took as a negative in the moment.
Whenever I said, you know, I think that I'm ready,
I meant not like I think. Maybe it was more
like I think I am but you know, I know
that other people might not, you know, think that a
twenty five year old might be ready for marriage or not.
But yeah, I mean I don't think that I had
(10:53):
to set timeline on I need to be married by
this age. And so I mean I wasn't like feeding
for were like engagement or marriage, but because it's Joey
and because of our connection, you know, like I did
want that and I did see myself ready for that,
but yeah, I didn't.
Speaker 8 (11:09):
In the moment, I was like, oh, you know, I
just think that I'm ready.
Speaker 4 (11:12):
But then in hindsight, I was like, Okay, that could
be taken, you know, differently than what I meant. So
I wanted to reiterate that to him, but I didn't
mean it that way. But no, I think that all
of my conversations went pretty well. There was obviously hard conversations,
you know, hard questions that were asked, but I just
kind of said, however, I was.
Speaker 7 (11:31):
Feeling in that moment, Joey, when your sisters brought that
to you, did that raise any concerns?
Speaker 6 (11:39):
Not really.
Speaker 5 (11:41):
They really kind of explained what they felt was the
case too. They said that they thought that she was ready.
It was more that the communication styles were different. How
Daisy seemed like she knew what the answer was, where
Kelsey sometimes just says the first thing it comes on
her mind off the cuff, And that didn't surprise me
because I knew how she was so I knew it
was probably her just like blurting out an answer and
(12:02):
then being like, wait, look, I hope you understand that
I am ready. And that's probably how the conversation went.
So they explained that to me too, saying like, she
seems like she's fully invested in and wanted but they
just wanted to explain what the answer was, and I.
Speaker 2 (12:16):
Was like, yeah, I kind of get that, Yeah, totally.
Speaker 7 (12:18):
Speaking of miscommunications between the two of you, we have
to talk about the note, Kelsey, do you want to
give a little context to your we need to talk
wording choice.
Speaker 4 (12:32):
Yeah, so I didn't have a whole lot of time
to try to big note, so I just have to
use a couple of words.
Speaker 8 (12:42):
Yeah, I could have wrote more. You know, I could
have wrote a little heart. I could have wrote a
happy face.
Speaker 3 (12:49):
And you know, you should have just gave him a
voodoo doll with a pen stuck on the heart.
Speaker 7 (12:58):
You know what, though, in your defense, we talked to
Joey after the woman tell, and we did ask him
a little about the note, and joe and I tried
to like play out what we would write if we
were in your shoes, and it actually was harder then
we thought it was going to be to like write
something that's like really really short and concise that doesn't
sound ominous but also conveys urgency. So like I, I
(13:22):
sympathize with you, but yeah, we need to talk.
Speaker 8 (13:26):
Yeah, it could have made it a little bit better.
Speaker 7 (13:28):
But does that conversation go how you thought it was
going to though, Like when you met with Joey in
the room where you like O, I.
Speaker 4 (13:39):
Saw him open the door and immediately my heart dropped
because I saw his face and I felt sick to
my stomach. I felt like, you know this, this looks
like I'm playing games and I'm not. And I just
wanted to tell him, you know, I want to meet
your family. I'm excited to meet your family if you know,
given the chance, and yeah, I you know, because I
didn't say that, I think in I.
Speaker 5 (14:00):
Don't know if we talked about that before after tell
all with the context, but she did like we had
a conversation off.
Speaker 6 (14:07):
Camera about saying like I said something.
Speaker 5 (14:10):
I guess I slipped up in some way by saying
like I can't wait for you to meet my family,
and she got kind of upset because she just came
off to talk with Leslie was like, you can't promise
me anything, like I want to take this step by step.
So her reaction was more kind of It wasn't negative,
it was just like I can't look ahead to that.
And then when she sat with it, she realized that
she wishes. She was actually just like, no, I can't
(14:31):
wait to meet your family too. So that was what
was sitting with her after that day and why she
wanted to talk to me, which makes total sense, and
I think you're completely right. I don't know what else
she would have wrote it just wasn't a good note
to get regardless.
Speaker 3 (14:43):
Okay, well I'm going to give you a blank card
right now. What do you got if you redo it?
Speaker 8 (14:52):
This is a good one.
Speaker 6 (14:53):
I think we.
Speaker 1 (14:55):
Got to talk.
Speaker 6 (14:59):
Maybe I said like I miss you.
Speaker 8 (15:01):
Before, or like can we talk or no.
Speaker 5 (15:10):
So we found out from this that she's never gonna
make It's.
Speaker 8 (15:16):
Like that like little love letters.
Speaker 7 (15:20):
Okay, yeah maybe yeah, maybe copywriting isn't in your future.
And Joe, if you get any ominous text from Kelsey,
maybe just don't jump to conclusion. Yeah.
Speaker 6 (15:31):
Yeah, we're learning together on that one for sure.
Speaker 1 (15:35):
Can we talk? Question question for Kelsey?
Speaker 3 (15:39):
How is you when you got home after getting engaged?
How how was your family? How did they respond?
Speaker 4 (15:47):
So I only told my dad and my sister Taylor,
and so everybody else honestly was very respectful.
Speaker 8 (15:56):
My brother, no one really like pestered me with questions.
Speaker 4 (15:59):
Obviously, my dad and my sister Taylor knew because I
felt like they could hold that information and it wasn't
going to be a big burden on them, But my
other siblings, I just felt like that would have been
almost a burden on them to have to like not
be able to tell everybody, but my brother he just
was just very sweet because he was like he thought that,
you know, maybe I got heartbroken.
Speaker 8 (16:18):
And so everyone was.
Speaker 4 (16:20):
Just really nice and very respectful honestly of like not
pestering me, which I was worried about.
Speaker 3 (16:25):
Yeah, it's and it's a it's such a like it's
such a.
Speaker 1 (16:31):
Maybe like the biggest moment of your life. And then
you like, no that I can't tell anyone.
Speaker 4 (16:36):
I wanted to like spew it to everybody, you know, Yeah,
that was hard.
Speaker 1 (16:41):
How did your friends react seeing it?
Speaker 4 (16:44):
They're just so excited for me, and they know that,
you know, if I chose Joey that I'm one hundred
percent in and I think that they all just trust
me and are so excited to meet Joey.
Speaker 1 (16:57):
Is Joey your type?
Speaker 8 (16:58):
Yeah, I mean I think that my time.
Speaker 1 (17:02):
At all.
Speaker 4 (17:03):
I mean, jo He's obviously so handsome, but my type
really is like more so personality, like kind men that
you know, treat me with.
Speaker 8 (17:12):
Respect and are fun and I enjoy my time with.
And that's Joey.
Speaker 3 (17:17):
Okay, Joey, what is your favorite quality about Kelsey?
Speaker 6 (17:24):
I've said it all the time. I think you even
saw it.
Speaker 5 (17:26):
At the ending, how I kept explaining her, like describing
her as this light, like she has an infectious energy
about her that I don't know, it's just different. I've
never I told my family this too, like I've never
met someone like her before, Like she is original. So
she has this like goofiness is light to her that
I can describe it as goofy or light or in
(17:46):
any word.
Speaker 6 (17:47):
But there's just something different about her that makes your stand.
Speaker 2 (17:49):
Out for sure, Kelsey, your turn.
Speaker 5 (17:54):
It was hard time to think about this.
Speaker 4 (18:00):
I think that was like, I don't know, No, I
think that Joey is just so kind and intentional with
everything that he does. I think that you can just
see through the whole process and even like from women
tell all, how everybody just still adored him.
Speaker 8 (18:14):
Nobody was angry at him.
Speaker 4 (18:15):
I think Joey is just very intentional and kind, and
I think that he grounds me a lot, which is
I need that.
Speaker 3 (18:22):
Yeah, Joey got lucky with that one. It's everyone everyone really,
everyone really likes you. This is the first time I've
ever seen this remo. It's like, oh, he broke he
broke my heart, but he's just he's so he did
it in such a nice way.
Speaker 5 (18:34):
Jesse like whispered to me during the tunnel. He was like,
I've never seen this before. When you're getting to that
and he's like, you really got easy, man, I got
I don't know what's going on, just trying to get
through this.
Speaker 1 (18:47):
Oh it's great.
Speaker 3 (18:49):
What okay, Joey, What is something that you learned about
Kelsey post engagement?
Speaker 6 (18:58):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (18:59):
See if I can think of it different answer to this,
I kind of don't want to give the same one.
I think that I found out a lot of times
how much she just like her energy is crazy. Like
I said, how much I love how she's this light.
But also I found out very quickly like I can
be very chill sometimes I just want to lay down
on the couch, watch a movie, do nothing.
Speaker 6 (19:20):
She doesn't have that bone in her body like she.
Speaker 5 (19:23):
Is always on the go, always wanted to do something,
needs to kind of be active in fidgety and moving around.
It's adorable. But I was like, Wow, this is this
is an energy. I'm gonna have to learn how to
handle it from time to time.
Speaker 8 (19:34):
But I've been able to.
Speaker 5 (19:35):
As you said, I ground right, dude, not a negative.
It's actually better. It was one of the biggest things
of why I was so excited for us to be
together because I need that. If I have someone that's
too low key, I'm gonna be boring and low key too.
So it's it's a necessity, but it's it's it's energy
on steroids, that's for sure.
Speaker 6 (19:51):
She's got that in school.
Speaker 1 (19:54):
Well, Kelsey, what's your secret.
Speaker 4 (19:57):
Of adhd adhd medicated?
Speaker 1 (20:07):
And Kelsey, what about what about you?
Speaker 3 (20:10):
What have you learned post engagement? Something about Joey.
Speaker 4 (20:15):
Joey's I think so goofy too, though, Like I think
that on the show, we really, you know, get to
the nitty gritty and are focusing on the seriousness of everything.
But he has such a funny and fun side to
him that I don't think people really got to see
through the season fully. But yeah, he's super funny.
Speaker 6 (20:33):
My older sister said something about that.
Speaker 5 (20:36):
She said that what she loves most about Kelsey she
brings out my silly side because my family sees it.
Speaker 6 (20:40):
Like my best friends do.
Speaker 5 (20:42):
But a lot of times I take stuff too seriously
and she doesn't allow me to it anyway.
Speaker 1 (20:48):
That's good.
Speaker 3 (20:49):
I think that that's I think that's a really I
think that's important in a relationship for someone that have,
you know, the qualities that you may not possess.
Speaker 7 (20:59):
Yeah, we obviously saw that Kelsey got to meet your sisters,
your mom, your dad.
Speaker 2 (21:06):
But who we.
Speaker 7 (21:07):
Didn't get to see this season was Uncle Joe, who,
if you watch Charity season, is Joey's uncle who kind
of gave him a hard time at Hometowns for.
Speaker 2 (21:16):
Not showing the real Joey.
Speaker 7 (21:19):
So what was Uncle Joe's feedback on this season and
did he feel like we got to see the real
Joey and that Kelsey gets to see the real Joey.
Speaker 6 (21:26):
He was great.
Speaker 5 (21:28):
We've had a lot of conversations, honestly since Charity's season.
Speaker 6 (21:33):
I've spoken on it before.
Speaker 5 (21:34):
It's actually made us a lot closer just because it
opened up a different side of our relationship to talk
more about those things.
Speaker 6 (21:41):
He's been nothing but proud of me.
Speaker 5 (21:43):
He sends me text almost every week after you watch
the episode and says, I can't believe you're making me
watch the show more, but I have to keep telling
you how you're navigating handle these situations, like, I don't
think you could have done it any better. So he
just I think has seen a lot of growth, is
very happy for how everything's been so excited about her.
There's just a lot of good and again, I think
(22:05):
I'm the surprise of this whole show in general is
how close it's made my family. And also I honestly
changed some of the communication and relationships that we had.
Speaker 6 (22:13):
So nothing a positive.
Speaker 5 (22:15):
Uncle Joe said he saw the real Joey, even though
maybe an improved version of Joey might be.
Speaker 6 (22:19):
The better way to put it.
Speaker 4 (22:26):
Joey's styling has been like so supportive, like checking in
on me, being I don't know, Carly is.
Speaker 6 (22:32):
Like Carly likes Kelsey more than she likes me.
Speaker 4 (22:36):
Best friends like she is, but she is so supportive
and so kind, Like whenever I'm having any emotions, even
if I'm like, you know, annoyed about anything with the
show with him, like She's like, yeah, that that wasn't cool,
you know, Like she's like on my side, but also
just like like helping me see things from different perspectives.
Speaker 8 (22:50):
I'm I'm so appreciative of his day.
Speaker 6 (22:52):
She's been great.
Speaker 5 (22:53):
She She's always said that she wanted to make sure
that the person I was with could be her best friend,
and I obviously was hopeful of that, but it's.
Speaker 6 (22:59):
Been that and more. How much you talk, it's actually
scary talk.
Speaker 2 (23:05):
That's amazing.
Speaker 1 (23:06):
I love that, Kelsey.
Speaker 3 (23:08):
After meeting you, I'm really excited to play this game because.
Speaker 1 (23:12):
I'm very curious. You're off the cuff answers what they
will what they will be?
Speaker 3 (23:18):
So you guys writing, we're gonna play a newly engaged game.
Speaker 1 (23:21):
Who's who?
Speaker 2 (23:22):
Oh boy, all right, who's the better cook?
Speaker 6 (23:26):
Kelsey?
Speaker 1 (23:27):
What do you?
Speaker 4 (23:28):
What?
Speaker 6 (23:28):
What?
Speaker 1 (23:28):
What? What do you? What's your dish?
Speaker 5 (23:31):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (23:31):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (23:31):
I like making a bunch of different type of meals,
but honestly, usually it's some variation of like protein, rice
and vegetables.
Speaker 6 (23:38):
We're both of you work jobs, so we're coming to
you soon. We need some help over. You're good. I'm terrible,
so I'm more speaking.
Speaker 8 (23:44):
I don't like chicken dry like I'm good with seasoning.
Speaker 7 (23:47):
You know, did you guys mostly cook at your happy
couples or did you order it?
Speaker 6 (23:53):
We found out pretty quickly.
Speaker 8 (23:54):
You have to get so many season and so many
things here. It's just all that hassle.
Speaker 6 (23:59):
We did like one big dish. We always try to do,
like one nice dinner. But then uber eats.
Speaker 1 (24:03):
It's just the free door dash Uber eats.
Speaker 2 (24:06):
It's like, oh yeah, yeah, I feel like the first
happy couple.
Speaker 7 (24:09):
We like stalked upon so much food that we didn't
get to and then we're like, okay, we just need
like snacks and breakfast food.
Speaker 5 (24:15):
Like that's exactly what we do, snacks, breakfast food, alcohol.
Speaker 7 (24:17):
That's literally yeah, Okay.
Speaker 2 (24:21):
Who has the best music taste?
Speaker 8 (24:24):
Joey, I have a wider variety.
Speaker 6 (24:28):
She is definitely different on the music taste. I think.
Speaker 2 (24:34):
Who sleeps in more?
Speaker 8 (24:36):
Jelly?
Speaker 2 (24:38):
What time do you wake up?
Speaker 6 (24:40):
I can sleep in really really for a long time.
I think.
Speaker 5 (24:43):
I think my usual would be like eight or nine.
I just need to get back into routine. I'm gonna
jump around so.
Speaker 6 (24:49):
Many is not bad, I'm bad.
Speaker 5 (24:52):
She's it's more she gets up really early. That's more
what it is. She doesn't like sleep as much as I.
Speaker 4 (24:57):
Yeah, he's not a morning person or night forson, and
I am morning person and a night person.
Speaker 2 (25:02):
Okay, okay, god chat.
Speaker 7 (25:05):
Yeah, No, I'm I need a good like eight to
nine hours every ting.
Speaker 6 (25:10):
If I'm doing stuff correctly.
Speaker 5 (25:11):
In my life, it's usually like ten to seven am
would be the perfect thing, go to bed by ten,
wake up at seven.
Speaker 3 (25:17):
That may be the best quality to have in life
is to be a morning person and a night person.
Speaker 5 (25:24):
No, it's it's actually hard to understand sometimes.
Speaker 6 (25:28):
Like you're crushing Chipper when she goes to.
Speaker 5 (25:30):
Bed and Chipper when she wakes up, and I'm like,
I'm both like, just get me like more minutes.
Speaker 8 (25:34):
I'm like, I want to wrest.
Speaker 2 (25:38):
All right? Who hogs the bed.
Speaker 6 (25:43):
Joey j Yeah? Probably mean probably. I think we're both
pretty understanding of.
Speaker 2 (25:49):
Who takes longer to get ready.
Speaker 8 (25:52):
Kelsey Kelsey barely what?
Speaker 5 (25:57):
Yeah, you act like I take long though you don't
take long, but as a as a female, you are
going to take longer.
Speaker 3 (26:02):
You're definitely, I would bet you are. You take thirty
at least thirty minutes longer than Joey.
Speaker 8 (26:09):
That's usually like the max.
Speaker 6 (26:10):
I feel I take like five minutes. Yeah, yeah, so
he's right.
Speaker 2 (26:15):
Who's more forgetful?
Speaker 6 (26:18):
Mm hmmm joe Joey.
Speaker 2 (26:20):
Yeah, who's the funniest?
Speaker 6 (26:24):
I hate that?
Speaker 2 (26:25):
Who's more going?
Speaker 8 (26:28):
Kelsey?
Speaker 3 (26:29):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (26:29):
Kelsey.
Speaker 2 (26:30):
Who's the better driver?
Speaker 6 (26:32):
Joey Joey. I would think we haven't tested about she drives.
Speaker 5 (26:35):
She's got some still really find out that she has
a stick Chevy Cruise, so that we're gonna be we're
gonna be sharing that car in New Orleans too soon.
Speaker 2 (26:43):
So are you going to brand to New York?
Speaker 8 (26:46):
No?
Speaker 6 (26:47):
No car in New York subway?
Speaker 1 (26:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (26:50):
Who's the better dancer, Joey?
Speaker 6 (26:53):
Oh my god, No one wants to see that?
Speaker 3 (26:56):
Really?
Speaker 6 (26:57):
Really, you can.
Speaker 4 (27:00):
Rough.
Speaker 6 (27:01):
She has the moments where she gets up and I'm like, no,
you can stop. I don't want to see.
Speaker 1 (27:05):
What's your kelsey, what's your boob? What you like your
go to boo?
Speaker 4 (27:08):
Yeah? Show us like I don't know what this thing is,
you know, like the criss cross.
Speaker 2 (27:12):
Knee thing, Like that's what you're whipping out of the club.
Speaker 6 (27:17):
It's like it's like a walking meme. When she tried
to no one wants to see.
Speaker 1 (27:20):
It, the criss cross the thing that's your first move
on the dancer. That's great. I'm an awful dancer as well,
So she'll.
Speaker 5 (27:28):
Be requesting like dancing something like that.
Speaker 2 (27:33):
Oh my god.
Speaker 7 (27:34):
Okay, who's the bigger cuddler, Joey, who's the more organized one,
who's more adventurous?
Speaker 1 (27:49):
Shared agree to this?
Speaker 2 (27:51):
Who's the better listener?
Speaker 6 (27:53):
Joey that want to agree on.
Speaker 2 (27:57):
Who wakes up the earliest. We kind of answered that
one Kelsey, that is.
Speaker 5 (28:04):
That only a couple of like off ones there, but
same page.
Speaker 3 (28:10):
Anything before before we hang up on you guys and
send you off on your on your way, anything you want.
Speaker 1 (28:18):
To say about your journey or anything we didn't cover
or anything like that, I don't know.
Speaker 4 (28:24):
I think that I'm just so excited to, you know,
live life off camera and.
Speaker 8 (28:30):
Yeah, make new life experiences together.
Speaker 6 (28:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (28:33):
I mean the season was obviously a wild ride for
me in general. It's been like a year of reality TV.
So I'm very excited for this to be all done with.
And this was the whole reason. This was the purpose
to find her, So now that we have that, I'm
just excited.
Speaker 6 (28:46):
To see what comes next.
Speaker 7 (28:47):
Do you guys have any advice for future couples coming
out of the franchise or a piece of advice that
you were given that really stuck with you.
Speaker 8 (28:56):
For me, I just.
Speaker 4 (28:57):
Think that trying to look at it from the other
person perspective as much as you can, Yeah, I think
that that can really be eye opening.
Speaker 5 (29:04):
Yeah, I think change obviously understand the perspective, but also
to I thought out pretty early through this like it's
going to take work. This isn't a normal situation, so
you have to make sure if you pick the right person, like,
you're going to have to put in the effort. You're
going to have to understand that you have to choose
each other above anything else.
Speaker 6 (29:21):
So yeah, just understand that it will take work, but
it's all worth it.
Speaker 1 (29:25):
Yeah, love that. Well, So honestly, I'm really really happy
for you, guys.
Speaker 3 (29:30):
I've called this relationship from the beginning no bo But
thank you guys so much for taking the time.
Speaker 7 (29:36):
And actually, wait a second, no, you didn't because she
is in my bracket and we at the beginning of
the season, we each picked four people. We picked two
picked we picked two based off the headshots before the
show started, and then we picked two after night one,
and Kelsey is in my bracket, not yours.
Speaker 2 (29:58):
I'm pretty sure.
Speaker 1 (30:01):
I don't know about that.
Speaker 2 (30:02):
Let's see.
Speaker 7 (30:03):
Let's see, let's see, let's see. Serena Serena kelsey A
my third pick, well, my first pick after night one.
Speaker 2 (30:15):
So Joe, eat your words.
Speaker 3 (30:17):
Okay, you know what, Okay, fine, whatever, whatever, I'm over
us uptime now, guys, it doesn't matter now.
