Speaker 1 (00:01):
Hey, everyone, welcome back to Betterer Happy Hour. I'm Joe
and I'm Serena, and today we are going to be
recapping Bachelorette season eleven. Do you guys know whose season
that was?
Speaker 2 (00:13):
Well, I wouldn't if you just gave me the number,
I would never be able to pinpoint a number to
a name.
Speaker 1 (00:19):
All right, Well, if you're if you're no, but if
you're listening, guess, guess right now. In three two one,
this was Caitlin Bristow's season. It was technically Caitlin and
Britt season, and then Britt got eliminated a night one.
Speaker 3 (00:37):
Yeah, on her own season rip.
Speaker 1 (00:39):
Rough Honestly, overall, overall, take that was. I know, they've
done two Bachelorettes now they did. They've had Bachelorette back
to back seasons with Michelle and Katie. This was the
roughest I've ever seen because being the lead for uh,
(01:00):
you know, a day and then having Chris Harrison walk
up to you and say, nah, not enough Bed liked you,
you gotta go is horrible.
Speaker 2 (01:14):
I think that they got a lot of flack for
doing this as well, and like I think it was
an interesting concept. I'm actually glad they did it looking
like watching it back, I was like, this is kind
of interesting, but it was so uncomfortable the entire first
episode too.
Speaker 4 (01:30):
Well.
Speaker 1 (01:30):
The men had so for the beginning of the episode
and the beginning of the Bachelorette season. Essentially the men
have the.
Speaker 2 (01:40):
Power, yeah, because they ended up voting on which bachelorette
they wanted. For those of you that maybe didn't watch
this season, they it was Kitlin, Bristow and Britt who
came off of crystals the season, Kitlyn made it to
top three or four, and I got to sure where
Britt made it, but she made it far and they
cast both both of them is to be the bouchelrette.
(02:01):
And then they had the men at the end of
night one vote on which girl they liked better, and
that the boucherette for the rest of the season, and
the other girl went home never to be seen again,
which was Britt who got sent home, which was crazy.
Speaker 3 (02:14):
Like the fact that they did this is really crazy.
Speaker 1 (02:17):
It's pretty crazy, but I mean it does it is catchy.
Like if I'm a fan of the show and I
watch it every season, I'm one hundred percent tuning in
to see how this plays out.
Speaker 2 (02:30):
One hundred percent, and I know it got a lot
of There was a negative response for sure, but it's
like people were still talking about it.
Speaker 1 (02:38):
It was rus as bad press.
Speaker 3 (02:39):
It was engaging.
Speaker 2 (02:40):
It was like a train wreck, like you couldn't look away.
You had to watch it, even if you didn't fully
support it. And it was only one episode. I think
if this had gone on for longer than one episode,
there would have been a huge issue. But for one episode,
like a little discomfort.
Speaker 1 (02:53):
It went on for a really long time. I think
it had to be it.
Speaker 3 (02:57):
Was a two part premiere. It was two episodes.
Speaker 1 (02:59):
Yeah, but also it had to be the longest limo
entrances of all time. Like when we were you and
I were sitting here watching it and I was like worst,
We're like I looked at you and now we're in
I'm like, we're still on limos right now. Yeah, this
is this is crazy.
Speaker 2 (03:16):
Because they had to go up to each girl, and
I would say we saw less gimmicky entrances. We saw
a lot of like people in funny cars and like
silly drive ins, but not a lot of unique limo
entrances in terms of like a gift or a gimmick
because they had to say hi to both girls.
Speaker 1 (03:34):
Yeah, so it was.
Speaker 2 (03:35):
Even harder, Like a few of the guys tailored it
to one of the girls, Like I think Tanner came
out of a limo and yeah.
Speaker 1 (03:42):
But that's also what we saw, So I do I
do think so I kind of think at the beginning,
when you would just see one guy walk up to
one woman, you just don't see the interaction with the
other bachelor.
Speaker 2 (03:57):
Att What do you mean they were maybe doing gimmicks
for both bacheorettes but they were only showing one of
them because of the time.
Speaker 1 (04:05):
Oh yeah, or maybe they only did again, like maybe
who was it Tanner? Yeah, Tanner for Britt, Right, so
maybe Tanner brought something out for Brett, but he also
probably still had a decent conversation with Caitlin. But we
don't see.
Speaker 3 (04:17):
That, right, Like he might have brought he might have
brought something for Kaitlyn.
Speaker 1 (04:20):
I'm not even saying brought something. I'm saying just had
a conversation.
Speaker 2 (04:23):
No, I know they talked to both girls. Oh, every
guys went and talked to both girls. I was just saying, like,
it's harder to do something personalized because then you.
Speaker 3 (04:32):
Kind of have to do it for both of them.
Speaker 2 (04:33):
Yeah, and I think there was a few guys that
like maybe just did it for one of them, Like
I know, the I think it was JJ that came
out was like I would totally puck you or something
else funny, which was funny. But and it was clearly
catered to Caitlin.
Speaker 1 (04:48):
Yeah, and then but he went up to Britt and
he's like, honestly, if I would have brought another puck,
I would have pucked.
Speaker 3 (04:53):
You too, Yeah, which was funny.
Speaker 1 (04:56):
I like that. That was my favorite. That was my favorite.
Speaker 3 (04:58):
That was a standout engine.
Speaker 1 (04:59):
Let's kind of recap the beginning. So the beginning gears
definitely more towards Caitlin being insecure and Britt kind of
being the woman that most of the guys want.
Speaker 2 (05:14):
Yeah, it's very evident the way they're like betraying them individually,
because Caitlyn is coming off the show is this like goofy,
free spirit like jokester.
Speaker 3 (05:28):
Yeah, and Brett is coming off as this.
Speaker 2 (05:30):
Really intense, emotional, more serious girl. So they're already different
in itself, and then the way they're responding to the
situation is so different too, because Caitlyn is feeling really
nervous and like verbally saying that. You can see it
on her face, like she has no poker face. She's
like clearly uncomfortable.
Speaker 3 (05:49):
Britt is like.
Speaker 1 (05:51):
So confident, very confident.
Speaker 2 (05:53):
I don't know what was going through either of their heads,
but like Caitlyn, you could tell was like, I don't
want to get my hopes up because like I just
fel uncomfortable.
Speaker 3 (06:00):
This is weird. I don't know if it's going to
be me.
Speaker 2 (06:02):
I'm like, you know, nervous, put myself out there and
get rejected by these guys. Britt is like, I feel great,
I feel like it's going to work out. Like girl
thought she was going to be the bachstre Well, I
think I think she was just like manifesting it and
putting out that energy and trying to stay positive.
Speaker 1 (06:15):
Well, I think because she I think Britt took the
more serious approach to the show, not saying Kaitlyn wasn't serious,
but her whole personality was I'm a jokester and like
I swear and I fuck around kind of thing, and
I just don't think this show had ever taken a
lead like that. And I think Britt probably looked at
(06:37):
it like, well, if I'm looking at past leads, I'm
kind of the shoe in here, like they're not going
to go this route.
Speaker 2 (06:46):
Yeah, that's actually a good point. Kaitlyn was and still
to this day, is very different than kind of the
stereotypical bopstererette. For it is much more of a fit
if you're looking back through the history of it all.
Speaker 1 (06:58):
Yeah, yeah, like I would to like us just like
doing this podcast for the past year and just watching
the show. If I didn't know, obviously I knew it
was Caitlyn, but if I didn't know when I watched
the beginning of this episode, I would be like, oh,
they're one hundred percent going with this brit Yeah, one
hundred percent, But I would be like, I would kind
(07:21):
of like to see Caitlin.
Speaker 2 (07:22):
Yeah, but it was also up to the guys, right,
I mean, it was whoever at the end of the
day got the most votes, And honestly, we have like
the list of who voted for who, and it was
really close. I mean, based on what was shown and
what people were saying, like I voted for this person.
I'm sure some people like could have been lying, but yeah,
it was a close vote, Like it really could have
(07:43):
been either of them.
Speaker 1 (07:44):
Any any guys really stand out Limo entrances stand out
for you?
Speaker 5 (07:51):
Limo entrances, I mean, I like, I mean, I got
I mean And to me, he was, besides Caitlyn, who's
obviously the star of the show, was probably the star
of this episode.
Speaker 4 (08:04):
Jared Jared Jared, I like, I didn't know I would
think Jared was probably going to be the next Bachelor
after watching this episode.
Speaker 1 (08:16):
What did he say his alter ego love.
Speaker 3 (08:18):
Man knowing Jared too.
Speaker 1 (08:20):
Now this is so for a listeners, Yeah, Jared, Jared
and Ashley Jared.
Speaker 2 (08:25):
Yeah, so Jared Jared Habn Jared Haven, who's now married
and has a beautiful son with wife Ashley a Conetti,
who was also on the show. They met on Paradise.
He did not want to be the bachelor. It was
Ben Higgins, who we recapped his Night one already, But
Jared is like the star of this Night one in
so many different ways. He has this whole like moody
(08:49):
intro package. He's walking through the streets and like plaid
and it's rainy and it looks like he's like it
was crazy. They put a lot of creativity into it,
and he like is giving like rom com energy and
then he like rips open his shirt and he's revealing
his alter ego, which is love Man. I mean it's
a tam Superman. She's like a comic book. He's a
(09:12):
total comic book nerd. I think Superman's like his favorite. Yeah,
he did that with his intro to the limo.
Speaker 1 (09:19):
I know, That's what I'm saying. Yeah, that's what I
was talking about, was him out the limo when he
rips open his shirt and he's love man. I was
shocked that Ben Higgins. I mean, yeah, it just I
thought we were going to see more of Ben Higgins
this first episode.
Speaker 2 (09:35):
I mean we saw him have a conversation with Caitlin
where she asks about he asked her about her bird tattoos. Yeah,
and he talks to Britt about how he sponsors a child.
Speaker 1 (09:46):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (09:47):
So we did see little bits and pieces of him.
Speaker 1 (09:49):
He was someone that voted for Britt, right, Jared voted
for brit Jared vote for Brett. It's actually funny because
the guys that kind of like Ben.
Speaker 3 (10:00):
Voted for Kaitlyn.
Speaker 2 (10:01):
Oh, but I think he said he came in for
Britt thinking he would like Britt or no, no, no, okay.
So yeah, Ben Higgins comes in, he's there for Caitlin,
but then he talks to Britt at the Limo entrance
and is like, I don't know, maybe I like Britt,
which I feel like happened with a few of the guys.
They came in thinking they like one girl and then
they ended up being swayed towards the other.
Speaker 1 (10:23):
Yeah, how do you feel about Like, yeah, if you
vote for the other girl, like, then you're then you're
in this. Then you're like, oh, I would feel like
that would be that's a terrible position to be.
Speaker 3 (10:37):
Well, Jared did that.
Speaker 2 (10:38):
Jared voted for Britt and then ended up telling Kaitlyn, Hey,
just want you to know that I voted for Honestly,
as long as the guy was upfront about it, I
would be okay with it. I mean, obviously, I think
your heart is going to gear more towards the guys
that voted for you, because there's a sense of safety
in that. But I'd be like, look, you don't really
know me and you don't really know her, Like, let's
(11:01):
give it a little bit of time. Here's Jared ends
up making it far and honestly, he might have been
like I'm torn, like I like them both and I
just got to pick one.
Speaker 1 (11:08):
I'm surprised they didn't get anyone, like caught anyone lying,
Like let someone be like, all right, just say like
you voted for one of the guys, Like, yeah, I
voted for Britt, But I told Caitlyn I voted for her.
Speaker 3 (11:22):
I really want to.
Speaker 2 (11:22):
And then Caitlyn's walk in and be like, all right,
raise your hand if you voted for Britt. Yeah, Like
let's see, like, let's see who voted for Britt.
Speaker 1 (11:29):
Yeah. So just just so everyone knows where we are
in the episode, the guys choose Caitlyn, and then it
essentially turns into a regular episode of The Bachelorette.
Speaker 3 (11:49):
Yeah night one.
Speaker 2 (11:51):
Britt was so shocked she really thought it was going
to be her. I actually felt bad.
Speaker 1 (11:55):
Well how do you not? I mean, how do you not?
And she probably had some real connection. It wasn't like
it was a landslide, no totally, so yeah, but it
is what it is.
Speaker 2 (12:07):
Do you think her and Caitlyn liked each other because
their energy was really giving that like they were not friends?
Speaker 1 (12:14):
Yeah, I don't know, Like it's.
Speaker 2 (12:15):
One thing to have like competitive tension. Like, I don't
think I saw them like acknowledge each other.
Speaker 1 (12:21):
Yeah the whole night. I would say they probably didn't didn't,
but I didn't watch.
Speaker 3 (12:25):
We would have to.
Speaker 1 (12:26):
We would have to watch Chris Sol's the season. They
kind of get more of a feel for that. Yeah,
that's true, which is different the way they did it
with Gabby and Rachel. They both became the bacherette, but
they both also really liked each other, so.
Speaker 2 (12:39):
There was yeah, well and it was more like we're
in this together attitude.
Speaker 1 (12:43):
But I do like the idea of them, like putting
two women as the lead who don't like each other,
or two men that don't like each other, and then
seeing how that works.
Speaker 2 (12:52):
Yeah, like instead of throwing them on a two on one,
it's like you're both going to be the lead.
Speaker 3 (12:55):
For a day.
Speaker 2 (12:56):
They'll do it eventually, I don't think so, No, you
don't think seeing that again? Now, Okay, So people don't
like to see like women pinned against each other, you know, yeah,
or men, but it's just more common with women.
Speaker 1 (13:09):
I feel like, I think people like to see it,
but people don't want to admit to liking to see it.
Speaker 2 (13:14):
I think there's a lot of things surrounding Rally TV
that people don't like to admit they like, Like I
think that's why we see so many people being like
I don't I don't want the drama, Like I don't
want to see women fighting each other for a man.
It's like, guys, you've been tuning in, like a little
part of you liked it, and that's okay.
Speaker 1 (13:29):
Yeah, I agree. I agree. So Sean Booth, Yep, he
going back to his little entrance, he is definitely one
of the more confident guys out of the limo.
Speaker 3 (13:45):
He's very confident.
Speaker 1 (13:46):
I liked his like group hug.
Speaker 2 (13:51):
I hate a group hug, but he did a good
job of making it feel not like awkward or cheesy.
Speaker 1 (13:56):
Yeah, no, it was. I thought it was like, oh
that was actually that's that was the move.
Speaker 2 (13:59):
Right there, and yeah, it was kind of acknowledging like
this is weird, bring it in.
Speaker 1 (14:04):
Yeah. And then he and I would say that like
probably also like gave him some confidence and they both
kind of laughed, They're like, let's do it. And then
he told Caitlin, I'm actually here for you.
Speaker 2 (14:16):
Yeah, which maybe I'm over dramatic about this, but he
went to britt first, which like whatever, like doesn't really matter,
and like picked her up, give her this massive hug,
like spunner around, like had this whole moment, and then
watching Caitlin was like, but I'm really here for you,
I was like, whoa, Yeah I was, Kaitlyn.
Speaker 3 (14:37):
I be like, but you just like snuggled the other
check pretty hard.
Speaker 1 (14:42):
Yeah, but he's just maybe he's just a warm, welcomer.
Speaker 2 (14:46):
Maybe, And I guess at the same time, like you
don't want to make the other girl feel bad, Yeah,
even though you might be more into one of them
than But.
Speaker 1 (14:53):
You would have had a problem with that. I don't
know would have I know you would have because you
told me we were watching it. You would have hit
a problem with it.
Speaker 3 (15:00):
I know.
Speaker 2 (15:00):
I'm trying to like actually think it through now, though,
but I think I would have because I would have
been like, you're kind of sending mixed signals here, like
you just went and like picked her up and spun
her around, and then you're over here You're like, but
I'm here for you.
Speaker 3 (15:12):
I'd be like, I don't know, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (15:15):
We'll have to see strategically. I don't think it was
a smart move. For any of the guys to tell
either of the women that they're solely there for them.
Speaker 2 (15:25):
Right, I mean, unless they're like, I know, I'm not
going to be into the other one, like I watched
the season, I'm not attracted to her, or like I
just don't see myself with her. But no, I would
never do that, Like if I was in their shoes,
I would never open with I'm here for you. Maybe
I would have said later, like later for you, and
I thought I was going to connect with you, and
(15:46):
I'm happy that I did.
Speaker 1 (15:47):
Yeah, But I think it's a.
Speaker 3 (15:50):
Strong declaration to make to then have one of them
go home.
Speaker 1 (15:53):
Yeah, and then because I think like later if you so,
if both women are in the house and you have
a conversation with both of them, and let's say Caitlin
to your second conversation, and you guys are really feeling
each other and you didn't really feel that way towards Brett,
I don't think it. I don't think there's a problem
saying it then, because that is actually how you feel.
But I think going in and not really knowing the
(16:14):
women and being like, hey, I'm here for you not her,
is kind of like, well, this might fuck you.
Speaker 3 (16:21):
So yeah, yeah, might right.
Speaker 2 (16:24):
I mean, I think the fact that they are very
very different in terms of their personalities would make it
less of a blow. Like if I was staying next
to someone that I felt like we were kind of
similar and they were saying that, I feel like it
was saying more. But if I was saying next to
someone that was very very different than me, I'd be like,
that's fine, Like she's your cup of tea, not me,
she's your type, not me. But there's a good chance
(16:44):
you're not sticking around long if I become the lead, you.
Speaker 3 (16:47):
Know what I mean?
Speaker 2 (16:48):
Yeah, because like you put that in my mind that
that is what you're gravitating towards and that's what you're
attracted to, and I'm feeling that I'm very different than that.
Speaker 1 (16:57):
Yeah, like think about yeah. And also like it's like
imagine choosing someone from that season as your person, but
then watching them be like I want to if this
was if this we were at a bar, I would
have chosen her.
Speaker 3 (17:18):
Yeah it's not great.
Speaker 1 (17:20):
Yeah, it's not done again, but then again, she's also
dating like twenty five other guys.
Speaker 2 (17:25):
Yeah, And on the flip side, I guess another way
to look at it would be like, you know what,
like you came here for her, but like it's just
not that deep, Like you didn't know her at all,
Like you were going off of a show, which, like
the show is pretty telling of who people are a
lot of the time. But I'd be like, you're gonna
have the show, you don't know me, there's still a
good chance you would get to know.
Speaker 3 (17:44):
Me and really really like me.
Speaker 2 (17:45):
Like, yeah, I would probably try to take that approach.
I'd be like, you know what, it's just you were
here for Britt, now I'm the lead. Maybe it'll work out,
maybe it won't, but like it's just not that deep
and like let's at least just try to get to
know each other.
Speaker 3 (17:58):
First and see what happened.
Speaker 1 (18:00):
Yeah, I agree.
Speaker 3 (18:01):
Yeah, I don't know that would be that would be hard.
Speaker 1 (18:04):
Yeah, I think I think the show just yeah, I
think he just always just choose one lead. One lead
so much cleaner any other. So we have Jared ben Oh,
the one guy, the one guy stood out to me
together was the athlete who got hit by a car
(18:24):
and that was in a coma for a couple of days.
Speaker 2 (18:26):
Yeah, Ian, Yeah, I believe that he ends up getting
into a fight with Caitlin and she sends him home.
Really yeah, I think he like insults her intelligence. Okay,
oh it's been a minute. Yeah, but from watching the trailers,
I was like, I'm pretty sure this is the guy
that she ends up having.
Speaker 1 (18:45):
Because you did you did say that right away, and
I think he was the villain. And then we have
the guy that was really drunk.
Speaker 2 (18:52):
Yeah, Ryan, there's always in the older seasons one person
night one little too much.
Speaker 3 (19:00):
Little too much. This guy had way too much.
Speaker 1 (19:01):
This guy was This guy was belligerent.
Speaker 2 (19:03):
And then yeah, this was out of everything I've seen,
at least recently in the night ones we've watched. This
was the worst behavior I've seen from a drunk contestant.
Speaker 1 (19:16):
Yeah, he was just he's just it just like every time,
like as the episode went on, which makes sense as
the night goes on, he gets more drunk, but it
just kept getting worse. And then he slapped Caitlyn's ass.
Speaker 2 (19:27):
Yeah, And I feel like often when people get too
drunk in these older episodes, they end up like falling asleep, burst,
slurring their words and just kind of like move into
like tired MOPI drunkness. This guy was fully active, running
around the house, saying some shit, calling the girl's hose,
slapped Caitlin's ass.
Speaker 1 (19:47):
Trying to fight with certain guys, like you know, he
told the guy that pulled up in like the pool pool,
the carpool, that he sucks.
Speaker 2 (19:54):
Yeah, he jumped. He went swimming in his underwear. I
think at one point the.
Speaker 1 (19:58):
Guy called the box. He's like, I never said that.
I never said you suck, but you do. So it's
actually pretty funny.
Speaker 3 (20:05):
Yeah, it was.
Speaker 2 (20:06):
It was it became inappropriate, but before that point it.
Speaker 3 (20:09):
Was it was funny.
Speaker 1 (20:12):
And then we see, well and.
Speaker 2 (20:13):
Then he has he didn't get sent home. Chris is
so good at handling these things, to be honest, Like
he's so calm, cool, collected to the point like he's
just so good. He's like, look like, I think you've
had a little too much to drink tonight and it's
time for you to go.
Speaker 1 (20:28):
Yeah, that's it. Guy goes. The guy goes just like that,
Chris goes just.
Speaker 2 (20:35):
Like that, and he goes, Okay, I'm really sorry, and
Chris goes, it's okay, man, just time to go.
Speaker 1 (20:39):
And then it was over.
Speaker 3 (20:40):
They put him in like a big.
Speaker 2 (20:41):
White van like every person I've ever seen off this
show goes into a black sub except for this dude.
Speaker 1 (20:46):
Yeah. Pretty pretty funny. And then the other big thing
in this episode is we see the upcoming trailer for
the whole season, and who do we see come along
(21:09):
that I forgot he was odd this season, Nick Vail.
Speaker 2 (21:13):
He looks so different, not that much different, but he's
like younger, and now he's got like facial hair.
Speaker 3 (21:20):
It is the facial hair and his tattoos.
Speaker 1 (21:22):
Yeah, for sure, it was. Yeah, I was. It was
funny seeing him there and then like knowing that like
him and Jared are such good friends. Oh yeah, like
Jared literally his best man speech and and.
Speaker 2 (21:38):
There's literally clip of Jared being like, I don't care
about Nick, I just care about Gatelen.
Speaker 1 (21:42):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I think. I don't know. If I
actually don't know, I would have to ask them. But
I don't know if Jared and Nick became friends on
this season or they became friends they became friends on Paradise.
Speaker 2 (22:00):
I believe Nick was pretty on the outs with the
guys because he comes in late. Him and Caitlin sleep
together mid season. She tells all the guys, So it
was just I can't imagine that they were opening their
arms up to him, but I know that they were
(22:22):
on Paradise together.
Speaker 3 (22:24):
On season three of Paradise.
Speaker 2 (22:27):
So Jared went on season two of Paradise and then
went on again on season three, and Nick was on
season three as well, and I feel like that's probably
when they got really close. Also, sometimes postseason, like even
people you weren't that close with on your season, you
both make it kind of far. You bond over that
you end up at a lot of the same events together,
(22:49):
coming back doing stuff together with the franchise, So like
sometimes that is what ends up connecting people as well.
Speaker 1 (22:54):
Yeah. Oh, also the cupcake dentist. He the cupcake the
dentist Chris that came out as a cupcake out of
the limo. Caitlyn did kiss him night one, and she's like, oh,
the dentist making moves.
Speaker 3 (23:13):
Oh did she?
Speaker 1 (23:14):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (23:15):
Yeah, my god, that just went right over my head.
Speaker 1 (23:18):
Yeah, she's like, oh, the dentists making She didn't kiss a.
Speaker 2 (23:20):
Lot of the guys night one, and I would assume
that has to do with the fact that Britt was there,
So I'd be like, I'm not kissing any of you
until I know if I'm.
Speaker 3 (23:30):
The bachelorret or not.
Speaker 1 (23:32):
Yeah, that makes sense.
Speaker 3 (23:34):
And then one guy ended up going after Britt.
Speaker 1 (23:36):
Yeah, I think he was the Nation or something, the
Nashville singer Guy, Nashville singer Guy.
Speaker 2 (23:43):
Yeah, yeah, Brady, which I can't remember what ended up
happening with that. It ends the episode on it though,
of him in a golf cart going after Britt and
like a clip of her cry in her room.
Speaker 1 (23:53):
Well, after we watched the episode, I went on her
Instagram and believe she's married with kids. Yes, yes, I'm
pretty sure it's not that guy.
Speaker 3 (24:02):
I'm pretty sure as well, so I know what.
Speaker 1 (24:05):
It all ended up working out with for her anyways.
Speaker 3 (24:09):
Oh yeah, i'd always ends up working out for everyone.
Speaker 1 (24:12):
That's not true. I mean, it doesn't always end up
working out, not for everyone.
Speaker 3 (24:17):
I feel like a lot of people end up finding
you know, happy, Yeah, but.
Speaker 1 (24:21):
I would, But it's not one hundred percent.
Speaker 3 (24:24):
No, No, it's not a hundred that I would say
I'm biased because it worked out for us.
Speaker 1 (24:30):
You know, it worked out for us, But there are
I would say, there's multiple people, and there's there's nothing
wrong with being single either, but there are multiple leads
that are still single today.
Speaker 2 (24:40):
Yeah, but maybe they're so much happier than if they
had stayed with the person that they were with from
the end of the show.
Speaker 3 (24:45):
That would have been the sad ending.
Speaker 1 (24:46):
Yeah, sure, I don't. Yeah, I agree, I think.
Speaker 3 (24:52):
Oh.
Speaker 1 (24:52):
Another person who's also a success story in the franchise
is Tanner. Tanner went on to Bachelor in Paradise. He
is now married to Jade and they have three kids,
which the eldest I did babysit.
Speaker 3 (25:10):
What what.
Speaker 1 (25:14):
My first season of Paradise.
Speaker 3 (25:15):
They brought their kid and gave it to your baby.
Speaker 1 (25:17):
That was That was the only date I had on
Paradise was babysitting. Emma, I believe her name is.
Speaker 3 (25:26):
Oh my god, were you alone or was it on
a date?
Speaker 1 (25:28):
It was on a date, Thank god.
Speaker 3 (25:30):
I can't imagine alone with a baby.
Speaker 1 (25:32):
Yeah it was.
Speaker 2 (25:33):
I mean now I could, because you know, you spent
a lot of your friends have had kids.
Speaker 1 (25:37):
But at the time I felt so bad for her too, Emma. Yeah,
because she was a little baby.
Speaker 3 (25:43):
And was she literally a baby?
Speaker 1 (25:45):
She was young. She was young. I would say, you
have no idea, I don't remember, but I hear she
was not older than two years old.
Speaker 2 (25:54):
Well, a lot can happen between zero and two? Would
she could she hold her head by herself? Yes?
Speaker 3 (26:00):
Is she walking at all?
Speaker 1 (26:03):
No? She couldn't walk. Okay, great, but she may have
been able to, But I don't. I don't think she
could walk.
Speaker 3 (26:08):
But I will say you would know if she could walk,
you would know.
Speaker 1 (26:11):
I mean, it was so long ago, but I remember
feeling so bad because I'm like, it's just me and
she is. She cried the entire time like she was
probably just.
Speaker 2 (26:22):
Well, you probably weren't giving like confident energy either. I
feel like were like horses, like they can sense when
you're afraid.
Speaker 1 (26:30):
Yeah, she's probably never been left alone with the stranger.
Speaker 3 (26:33):
Yeah, but she's she's safe. Yeah, I know she's Usually
they'll warm up to you.
Speaker 1 (26:38):
Yeah, she didn't warm up to me though she didn't.
Speaker 3 (26:42):
Was it real tears or was it just like for you,
I want my mom and dad tears.
Speaker 1 (26:45):
That it was real tears. There was tears, guy, I
felt so bad for it.
Speaker 2 (26:48):
Sometimes when they cry it's like fake tears. It's not
fake tears. But it's like I'm upset and I want
you to know it, and this is my way of
communicating it. But like if you hand me to my mom,
I'm going to be like smiling and under one second
I just.
Speaker 1 (27:04):
Felt bad for her. I was like, there's nothing I
can do. I don't know what you guys wanted to do?
Speaker 2 (27:08):
Right, godh did that speak to your readiness for a
serious relationship.
Speaker 1 (27:12):
That made me feel like I was on the show
Survivor for a second. So it was like, I'm just
surviving on this show. That's crazy.
Speaker 2 (27:21):
But to wrap up this episode, we have the Rose ceremony.
Sean Booth gets the first impression Rose, who he then
went on to get engaged to Caitlin at the end
of the season, So good instincts on her part.
Speaker 1 (27:34):
Spoiler alerts spoiler alert no longer together.
Speaker 2 (27:37):
Yeah, they're no longer together. And I think he actually
just had a baby. I think so with his girlfriend,
I believe. So congrats to him. And Jared got the
last Rose of the night, yeah, which was crazy, but
I think it's because he had told her that he
had I think voted for Britt.
Speaker 1 (27:57):
Did Jared get the last rose or did love Boy
Love Man Man Man?
Speaker 2 (28:04):
Well, he wasn't in his full He even had in
his intro like a full like Superman style Tsha underneath
with an owl.
Speaker 3 (28:12):
I wonder if he still has.
Speaker 1 (28:13):
That shared loves Superman.
Speaker 3 (28:14):
He does, But.
Speaker 2 (28:16):
We are going to be having Caitlyn on in the
near future. We're going to ask her a bunch of
questions about her night one. I really want to know
if they did a full fitting with her for the
season and like had her try and all the clothes
and like pick all her looks.
Speaker 3 (28:29):
That would just break my heart.
Speaker 2 (28:31):
I would not I'd be like, I don't want to
do this until I know I'm the lead because there's
so much prep that goes into it.
Speaker 1 (28:36):
I wouldn't even I wouldn't. That wouldn't even cross my mind.
We have a lot, we have a lot.
Speaker 2 (28:40):
I also want to know if the men in the
in the house really campaigning, Like if if you came
for Caitlyn and you met her and you're like, yeah,
I'm really into this girl, if you were going around
trying to convince other guys to vote for Caitlyn.
Speaker 1 (28:52):
I want to know if there was ever a chance
of or at least she thought maybe there was a
chance they were going to keep both of them. Yeah,
that would be interesting.
Speaker 3 (29:03):
That would or like bring Britt back, Like I wonder
if she was like anxious that they were going to
do something to where like Britt came back, Yeah, like
on a date or something.
Speaker 1 (29:11):
Well, we'll find out when Catlin comes on the episode.
