Speaker 1 (00:02):
Hey, well, welcome back to Bet Your Happy Hour.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
I'm Joe and I'm Serena, and.

Speaker 3 (00:05):
We are here today with the lovely couple Grant and Juliana.
Welcome back to Beat your Happy Hour, guys, Thanks for

Speaker 1 (00:14):
How's it going.

Speaker 4 (00:16):
Good?

Speaker 5 (00:18):
Good?

Speaker 1 (00:19):
Juliana, Boston lost yesterday to the next How do you
feel about that?

Speaker 4 (00:24):
It's fine, we'll get him on Wednesday.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
You know what, I actually just saw Joey like a
TikToker real popped up and they asked him who he
thought was gonna win the Stanley Cup this year, and
he said Toronto Maple Leafs, which is a crazy answer.

Speaker 1 (00:40):
Different sport though, we are talking about a different sport.
We were talking about basketball.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
But was it the.

Speaker 4 (00:47):
Crown of what?

Speaker 2 (00:48):
That's a team, the Toronto Maple Leafs, which is.

Speaker 4 (00:53):
Yeah, okay, okay, cool.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
All right, this is going to get confusing for the listeners.
Just jumping. We're jumping sports countries. Okay.

Speaker 3 (01:04):
Last time we talked to you, guys was after AFRU.

Speaker 1 (01:08):
What's what's new? How was those few days after AFR?
How is everything?

Speaker 5 (01:16):
Yeah? I mean we like we to take everything, strive.
We're just living life.

Speaker 6 (01:20):
We haven't really even discussed it, or I mean we discussed,
but we haven't been worried about it. We've just been
enjoying time with family. We got some big travel coming up,
and yeah, just enjoying life. So everything is everything's good
on our end.

Speaker 7 (01:32):
Yeah, taking it one day at a time. Honestly, you know,
it feels like that was a lifetime ago. Honestly, there's
just been so much happening and like we've been doing
so much that it feels like, truly it was like
five thousand years ago.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
Yeah, it's definitely like a very hectic season of life.
I can't even imagine where you guys calling in from
today you're separately.

Speaker 4 (01:58):
Yeah, I'm boss, and he's in Houston.

Speaker 7 (02:02):
He's going out to LA for a little bit and
then popping into Spain and then he's coming back to Boston.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
Oh what do you want to Spain for?

Speaker 4 (02:10):
Grant?

Speaker 5 (02:11):
Uh, just going to meet a couple of guys out there.

Speaker 6 (02:13):
Some of my friends talk about a couple of things
going out there for four days and then I'm headed
back to Uh, headed back to to Houston, and I'm
going to Boston and then we're going to a Ruba.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
Wait four days, that's such a quick trip to Spain.
Where where are you going? What's the purpose?

Speaker 6 (02:31):
Ah?

Speaker 5 (02:32):
So one of my friends he has a.

Speaker 6 (02:35):
They got like they hook up on some some like
some hotels and some restaurants. When to go out there
and just travel, eat, have fun, talk a little business
and then head back, head back on the seventeenth and then.

Speaker 4 (02:49):
Is like he can literally just like go with the wind.

Speaker 7 (02:54):
He's like, you know, someone invites him somewhere like across
like another country.

Speaker 4 (02:59):
He's like, let's go. And you asked me if I
wanted to come. I was like m m.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
He's like, I'll just pop over to Spain and then
I'll pop back. It's like, well, I don't think that's that. No,
you're kind of like that too.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
I mean sort time for like a long flight like that,
how long a flight is it from Houston?

Speaker 1 (03:18):
It's not what is it?

Speaker 5 (03:21):
Something like I'm literally I'm going to be sleeping the
whole time. So I just I just yeah.

Speaker 6 (03:27):
So I don't even know, like Jules knows that about me,
Like I'm my my schedule making skills are so bad,
Like she literally has to tell me how the time
when we have a meeting.

Speaker 5 (03:37):
So I'm like all over the place, but it's somewhere
around it.

Speaker 6 (03:40):
It's like twelve hours, twelve hours to an hour or
something like that.

Speaker 7 (03:44):
Right, it's probably like eight to nine hours from Boston.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
What was the longest flight you guys did when you
were traveling for the show?

Speaker 4 (03:52):
Do you remember it was the first one. It was
when we went from LA to where do we got?

Speaker 1 (04:00):
Spain?

Speaker 2 (04:01):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (04:02):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (04:02):
Yeah, oh yeah, yeah, we went to yeah, Spain. Yeah,
that was the longest flight. And I don't even know
how I mean, how long was that.

Speaker 5 (04:07):
I don't even know how.

Speaker 7 (04:08):
Long that was like a year honestly, layover. Yeah, it
was horrifying.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
You didn't have a direct no no, because you're coming
from LA.

Speaker 7 (04:17):
Sorry. We did have like an hour' gonna have to
get ready And I brought three suitcases, so I'm like
panicking trying to like get it, get all my stuff
into two and then just was like shuffled into an
airport and I was like.

Speaker 2 (04:30):
Oh my gosh, wait, So Grant, when you guys do
those trips, do you fly first and then the girls
are in the back?

Speaker 5 (04:40):
Yeah? I think I think so.

Speaker 6 (04:42):
I think it sounds no, we don't fa on the
same plane, like I remember when we were filming, they
were like hiding me and stuff, and you know, we
like in the airport or in the plane. But hopefully
everybody's flight was comfortable, you know. But I know now
me and Jewels that we travel, we're just we're everywhere.
So we're gonna be uh hopefully we're gonna be a
business our.

Speaker 5 (05:01):
What's what's been.

Speaker 3 (05:02):
The most exciting thing that you guys have done since
post show?

Speaker 6 (05:07):
Honestly, just hanging out with her family and getting to
know her family. I think that's the probably besides being
with Jules, that's like the biggest blessing. And you know,
we're not we're getting used to I mean, we're just
coming off the show, so we're kind of being private
with with you know, what we're doing and you know, giving.

Speaker 5 (05:25):
People, you know, bits and pieces.

Speaker 6 (05:28):
But just just hanging out with her family and getting
to know her family, her sister, her sister's husbands, my
brother in law, and juls dad, her mom, and she
has such a big family.

Speaker 5 (05:39):
So that's really been probably one of the best things
for me.

Speaker 7 (05:41):
My birthday party was fun, okay, and we've been drinking
a lot of wine.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
So wait, tell us about your birthday party.

Speaker 4 (05:51):
We just had.

Speaker 7 (05:52):
It was pretty much all of the girls, like the
Monday Night crew that all got together with me on
Mondays to watch the episodes, all of them and their husbands.
We went to our girlfriend my girlfriend's house and we
had a Somalia come and do like a private wine testing,
and we had so cozies and we drank a lot

(06:13):
of wine and it was just really fun.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
That's a great idea actually, like for a for like
a birthday party, if you want to do something like
at home, but still like an activity.

Speaker 4 (06:24):
I didn't even know to do that for fun. And
she was amazing.

Speaker 6 (06:28):
Yeah, she was telling me wines I don't even know.
I don't even know wine and cheese, and I don't
even know. I liked it, but now I'm a fan.

Speaker 1 (06:33):
So oh, you never used to drink wine?

Speaker 6 (06:36):
No, I was a Hennessy guy. I don't remember last
time I drank Hennessy. I've been drinking wine. I've been
drinking so much wine.

Speaker 5 (06:41):
I've been drinking a lot of wine.

Speaker 2 (06:42):
So they're againting with an Italian, so you have no
choice listen, but I like it.

Speaker 5 (06:48):
I like it better on that side. So I like
it better with with the wine.

Speaker 3 (06:51):
It's it's also it's like the beginning of a relationship.
Like I feel like we drank wine all the times
a lot in the beginning.

Speaker 2 (07:00):
Yeah, I feel like you're just going. It's also like
you to dinners.

Speaker 1 (07:03):
You have more romantic dinners when you're.

Speaker 2 (07:06):
Cooped up for so long. Like when we were seeing
each other on the Happy couple of weekends, we would
obviously like be like, yeah, like let's order food, let's
have a drink. Like you're trying to make it like
fun and you're trying to do things, and then once
you can be out, it's like that. But the opposite,
you're like, let's go out, let's have a drinks, let's
be with friends. Like a lot of like social drinking
activities right in the beginning was at least our experience.

Speaker 7 (07:30):
Oh my gosh, I like, this past week is my
first week that I had really nothing going on, and
I was like, I am not like even smelling alcohol
just because it's so consistent.

Speaker 2 (07:43):
I need a cleanse. I need a juice cleanse.

Speaker 3 (07:47):
I think our first I think our first vacation was
like that didn't have anything to do with like the
show or anything. Was probably was Spain.

Speaker 2 (07:57):
I think we went to Tuloom with Abigail and like
a romantic just the two of us. Yeah, we went
to Spain.

Speaker 1 (08:03):
Are you going to Barcelona?

Speaker 5 (08:06):
Going to Madrid? We're going to Madrid.

Speaker 3 (08:08):
Yeah, I have a great restaurant in Barcelona, but you're not.

Speaker 2 (08:12):
Going next time circle back together one time, one time
in the future.

Speaker 3 (08:18):
Yeah, So what are you guys? Still is Boston still
the plan?

Speaker 5 (08:29):
Boston is still the plan.

Speaker 6 (08:30):
Actually, we're going out there after I go to Spain
and after we hit up a roov, we're gonna go
look for I'm gonna look for some places.

Speaker 5 (08:36):
We've been contacted some people and figuring things out.

Speaker 6 (08:39):
So yeah, looking to go out there very soon after
this whole hectic kind of travel is done and get
life started. You know.

Speaker 2 (08:47):
Nice, Do you have kind of like a rough timeline
of when you're thinking you want to sign.

Speaker 6 (08:50):
A lease for Yeah, we're gonna do you know, I
think as of right now, around like Father's Day, we
can go out there and look and either we're trying
to do like six month or your lease and then
you know, depending on how things go, we're gonna look
for for for whatever's next, which possibly be a home
or you know, but we're just taking things one step
at a time and enjoy life.

Speaker 1 (09:12):
Yeah, Juliana, what part of Boston would you want to live?

Speaker 7 (09:17):
So it's actually one of my friends. She's an amazing
real estate agent. Her name's Kelsey. I just kind of
told her, you know, I wouldn't mind being in the
city I work in, like the Back Bay Area, South End,
Back Bay Area. I would love to live in the
North End, but I think it's just going to be
too small. I don't know if I don't think we'd

(09:39):
be able to find anywhere that has enough space for
the both of us.

Speaker 4 (09:42):
And I also told her that.

Speaker 7 (09:43):
Like, I'm totally fine being like in a suburb outside
of the city, just like I am now like Waltham, Newton,
my family, my sisters in Framingham, like Weston Wayland. So
I told her, I'm really not like we don't have
too many I guess like sure swants. Yeah, you know,

(10:05):
I just I want to find something comfortable and whatever
makes the most sense.

Speaker 2 (10:09):
So is it more about like the part like you
want to find somewhere that you love and you're kind
of flexible on the neighborhood that you're in. If you're like, oh,
my gosh, this apartment's beautiful. It's in our price range.
It has everything we want, Like, you'll be flexible on
what location it is totally yeah.

Speaker 4 (10:24):
I just want to be like still close to my family.

Speaker 2 (10:27):
What are like the like the non negotiables, Like when
Joe and I moved to New York, we were like,
we need this is very New York. Obviously, I think
Boston probably has all this, but we need a unit washer.
Dryer was our number one thing. What else is negotiable?
Non negotiable?

Speaker 1 (10:41):
That's probably just I think that was the main one.

Speaker 2 (10:44):
Yeah, we wanted like dishwasher, dishwasher was it non negotiable? Yeah?
And then we needed our bedroom field to fit a
king sized bed. Oh yeah, that was mandatory. And natural light.
I mean it's you know, we don't have that much
of that. We don't have that much, but we have
have like enough that it's doable.

Speaker 7 (11:02):
You need to have some at least, And I think
and I were like, oh, we were actually talking about
this last night and I was like.

Speaker 4 (11:09):
So, like, are we gonna look at like three bedrooms?
Two bedrooms?

Speaker 7 (11:13):
And he was like, you know, I think two because
we can have a bedroom and like an office because
both of us like work from home occasionally.

Speaker 4 (11:21):
And I was like, but you.

Speaker 7 (11:22):
Know, three might be good because then we can have
like a closet and like I get ready a glamor room.

Speaker 2 (11:27):
You know, I know, I'm looking at like your shelving
right now, like your shoes lying in the back. I'm like,
seems like a third bedroom AK closet would be a fit.

Speaker 6 (11:39):
She got me, I just got some protein shapes in
the back and whatever's going on with me. But yeah,
I think we'll probably get like a three bedroom, three
bedrooms something like that, one bedroom and office and then
a nice a nice closet for us.

Speaker 2 (11:53):
Nice you can also use like a guest room or
assuming any like Bachelor Nation friends that are going to
be couch crashing when you guys get your place.

Speaker 1 (12:01):
I was gonna say, if you hung out with anybody
post show, Yeah.

Speaker 6 (12:04):
We hung out with Jules and Ali Joe are really
really close. We hung out with her, he went to
her rumble boxing class. But I think for the most
part we've really been like, you know, it's really amazing.
Which Jewels really let me into her life is like
the circle that she has around her and her friends
because you know, you guys probably got enough of my
my lone wolf tattoo during the season. But you know,

(12:26):
like just being around her friends and her family is
really it's really cool. And we've been hanging out with
people from Bachelor Nation, but really her her group of
friends is they really accepted me and brought me in.

Speaker 2 (12:36):
Oh, that's amazing. That's got to feel good for you too, Juliana.

Speaker 7 (12:40):
Yeah, it's nice, you know, just and I will give
you props because like there are so many people and
like they're also nice and friendly, but sometimes it can
be like overwhelming, you know, but Grant does like a
really good job just being I don't know, You're very
personable and you can kind of like have conversations with
everybody and anybody and I don't have to like like

(13:01):
look over and be like should I go rescue him?

Speaker 4 (13:03):
You really can handle your own with everybody.

Speaker 6 (13:06):
So sometimes I might do an occasional irish could buy
and now we're friends though, but like we just go
to the bathroom or something.

Speaker 2 (13:14):
Like where's your Grant? Oh you left?

Speaker 5 (13:16):
Did you guys?

Speaker 1 (13:17):
Did you guys do did you guys do stage Coach
this year or Coachella any of those?

Speaker 4 (13:22):
No? No, no, we were. I mean, I think we
were both offered to go to all of them, but
during I forget what it was.

Speaker 7 (13:32):
Oh, during the first week of Coachella or the second
week of Coachella, we were we were in Florida. You're
visiting my aunt. So then we hung out with Ali Joe,
and then Stage Coach. I really did want to go,
but I had already had a trip planned with my
aunts and my cousins to New York and we do
it every year, and I was like, I'm not going
to miss that because I'll have like such bad FOMO.

Speaker 4 (13:54):
But I already next year, I.

Speaker 7 (13:55):
Think I'm going to go to Stage Coach, So I'm
don't keep me in the loop because then I'll start
to get FOMO a.

Speaker 4 (14:01):
Year out there, you go.

Speaker 2 (14:03):
How do you guys feel that Paradise is in the works.

Speaker 4 (14:07):
Yeah, I'm excited.

Speaker 7 (14:09):
I'm excited for there to be just like another another
show for people to talk about, you know, And I
also can't wait to watch it and just like support
all the girls and the guys and see how it
all unfold.

Speaker 3 (14:23):
Out of the girls from your season, is there anybody
that you hope matches with, Somebody that you either know
or know of.

Speaker 7 (14:36):
I mean, obviously I want Ali Joe to find her man.
I just I don't really know like the Bachelor Nation
guys too well, other than the ones from Jen season,
And I don't know if that Ali Joe is like
any like of their I don't know if there are
any of like Eli Joe's like type, you know.

Speaker 1 (14:55):
I also don't know if Eli Joe is going to
be there or not. So that's if she goes.

Speaker 4 (14:59):
You know, that's true. That's true.

Speaker 2 (15:01):
Grant. What was your advice to your boy Hakim before
he went down?

Speaker 5 (15:08):
Just told him to have fun.

Speaker 6 (15:09):
I just told him to have fun, be yourself and
whoever whoever accepts you for you is going to love
you for you and accept you for who you are.
And you know, don't what she doesn't struggle with, you know,
just be yourself and don't be somebody different, you know.

Speaker 5 (15:21):
So that was my advice. And I'm sure he's definitely
going to be.

Speaker 6 (15:24):
One of the most outspoken people there, so we don't
have to worry about that.

Speaker 2 (15:27):
If you were a betting man, do you think he
comes home single, in a relationship, engaged, heartbroken?

Speaker 6 (15:39):
I think he's going to come home in a relationship.
You know, that's the goal. I think he's going to
come home in a relationship.

Speaker 1 (15:46):
That wasn't the question, Grant. The question is that you're
a betting man. If you're going to put money on it.

Speaker 5 (15:51):
Yourn.

Speaker 1 (15:53):
But you are at this scenario, who are you betting?

Speaker 5 (15:56):
God?

Speaker 1 (15:56):
What do you bet a god?

Speaker 6 (15:57):
If I had to put money on it, I'll put
money that he comes home in a relationship. He's going
there with his heart, so you know, I think he's
going there really genuine and I think that.

Speaker 5 (16:06):
Uh yeah, if I had to bet, I think he'd
been a I think he's gonna be in a relationship.

Speaker 2 (16:10):
Okay, Okay, well, Chelsey, we're excited to see the season.

Speaker 6 (16:16):
At the bright side, were going to see a lot
of really good facial reactions from him, So that's gonna be.

Speaker 2 (16:20):
I'm just anxious about him and the spiders. Not that
I actually ever think I saw a spider when we
were down there, but Costa Rica. You know, there's a
lot of creepy crawlers.

Speaker 6 (16:32):
Listen, that's going to be It's going to be one
of the many perks of washing the season's seeing him
with spiders and see what he's going through.

Speaker 5 (16:40):
It's gonna be funny either.

Speaker 3 (16:41):
Either of you have have an opinion on how you
think Zoe will do in this situation, because I know
she did. She kind of struggled during Grant season. Yeah,
any opinions on her.

Speaker 7 (16:53):
It was funny you say that, because I was just
gonna say, I wonder if her and Hikim will hit
it off, because I remember when we were standing at
a roast REMONI one time she like looked at Littia
and I and was like, I've got to go.

Speaker 4 (17:05):
I just thought, Charanngela.

Speaker 2 (17:07):
Yes, she actually said on the podcast that Grant I
think on one of your dates she said she saw
a huge spider and it's like her biggest fear, and
we were like, you and Hikeim need to band together
and have an exterminator come in.

Speaker 5 (17:22):
I think he.

Speaker 4 (17:23):
Would be a great couple.

Speaker 5 (17:25):
That did happen that that did. That happened.

Speaker 6 (17:27):
You know, there was a spider on a date, and
I know I know during uh the AFR or during
the hotel augencies, and they brought up the big spider
for Raquem So we'll see, you know, that's part of
the fun of washing Paradise. We can see who who's
We're gonna se everybody's personality come out.

Speaker 5 (17:43):
So I'm excited for that.

Speaker 2 (17:44):
It is nature and the wildlife always adds a good element,
an additional event to the experience.

Speaker 5 (17:52):
That's gonna be like one of the most one of
the most fun things, you know.

Speaker 2 (17:54):
So yeah, Julianna, we saw that you were wedding dress shopping.
Tell us everything. How did it go?

Speaker 7 (18:02):
So it was actually for my little cousin, she's getting married,
and that's why part of the reason why I went
down to Florida is because she was going wedding dress
shopping and she asked me if I wanted to come,
So I did not try on any dresses. My aunt
did make me put her her a wedding dress on
when we got back to the house, but I didn't

(18:23):
want to like cloud her day, you know, I wanted
her to feel really special. So and she picked out
a really gorgeous dress, and I can't wait to go
on the hunt for mine.

Speaker 2 (18:31):
Oh that's so fun. Did you get any and swell
of like what silhouettes you liked? What you think you
may want to wear?

Speaker 7 (18:37):
Okay, Like, honestly, I just love everything she tried on
all the different styles and I was like, that's gorgeous
and oh my god, that's so beautiful and wow, Like
I think I need to find out like the exact
venue so that I can have something to go off of,
because I could like go do.

Speaker 2 (18:56):
Anything like rather too. Like I feel like I always
thought I wanted to wear like a long sleeve wedding dress,
and then we got married in Charleston and I was like, well,
that's just obviously not going to work out.

Speaker 4 (19:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (19:06):
Yeah, So I mean I definitely know we we I say,
I really hope that we get married in.

Speaker 4 (19:13):
Italy, so by the water.

Speaker 7 (19:15):
So I feel like that is you know, I just
kind of got a light hone in on that.

Speaker 4 (19:19):
But we are going to Italy.

Speaker 5 (19:21):
We don't make it happen. We don't make it happen
for sure.

Speaker 1 (19:24):
When are you guys going.

Speaker 4 (19:25):
We're going in July, first week of July.

Speaker 2 (19:28):
That's so exciting in Italy.

Speaker 4 (19:31):
We are going to Capri and Isa.

Speaker 2 (19:36):
I'm not familiar with.

Speaker 3 (19:38):
I just saw a that I just sent you that
Instagram reel at that hotel on the Amafi coast. Yeah,
I want to I want to book immediately, but it's
like thirty five hundred a night.

Speaker 1 (19:49):
I'm like, this is this is crazy.

Speaker 2 (19:52):
Well, don't don't, don't book that, don't don't want that.
I'll just look at it on Instagram.

Speaker 3 (20:04):
Feel free to say funck off to me if you
guys don't want to answer this question. But there was
a lot of like drama surrounding Latia after the finale.
I don't know what you guys touched on and what
you didn't, Just kind of like, where are you at
now with it all?

Speaker 1 (20:21):
Have you? Have you moved on?

Speaker 5 (20:26):
Yeah, we definitely moved on.

Speaker 4 (20:27):
Go ahead, I'm sorry, it's fine. I think we're definitely
moved on.

Speaker 7 (20:31):
I feel like, like I said that, even just like
the AFR has felt like such a lifetime ago, you know,
and we've lived so much life since then, you know.
I think immediately afterwards you have all of these emotions
and everything, and you know, you can take things personally.
But yeah, I think at this point it's water under

(20:53):
the bridge. I hope she's doing really well and yeah,
nothing really and since so that's good.

Speaker 5 (21:01):
That's good.

Speaker 2 (21:02):
That's good. It's got to be part of the excitement
of a new season coming around.

Speaker 6 (21:06):
Also, for sure, Yeah, I'm happy happy that things have
come and with nobody's talking about us anymore anything, and
we're just like going about living our lives.

Speaker 5 (21:14):
You know. I think that's something that's the that's the
beauty of it. You know.

Speaker 2 (21:17):
Did you say you're going to potentially look at wedding
venues when you go to Italy?

Speaker 4 (21:21):
I think we should.

Speaker 2 (21:23):
Yeah, I mean you're already there.

Speaker 4 (21:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (21:26):
Do you have any sort of timeline of when you
think you may want to get married?

Speaker 6 (21:32):
No?

Speaker 7 (21:33):
I mean I told Grant that when it comes time,
because right now, you know, we're really just taking life
like one day in one moment at a time, and
you know, we're focused on the move and just kind
of getting like life situated being together. I told him
that when he wants to start talking about that and
he feels like we're at that point, he has to repropose.

Speaker 2 (21:56):
Okay, really, so we will know that you're starting to
wedding plan when we see the reproposal. Yes, same ring
or new ring?

Speaker 4 (22:07):
Oh, same ring is fine.

Speaker 2 (22:09):
She's like, I wouldn't turned down a second ring if
he wants to buy me one.

Speaker 3 (22:16):
Any any other anything you got new going on, any
opportunities that you guys are both doing anything like that.

Speaker 5 (22:26):
Yeah, I mean, I've just been working.

Speaker 6 (22:28):
It's been you know, crushing it with that with my
career that I had before the show, and I know
Jules doing a bunch of cool things, and yeah, I
just think that's.

Speaker 5 (22:38):
It's really it.

Speaker 2 (22:39):
Wait, guys, did you meet Madison from Love Is Blind?

Speaker 5 (22:44):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (22:44):
My gosh, I Love on the Spectrum.

Speaker 4 (22:48):
Yeah, she, believe it or not.

Speaker 7 (22:50):
She went to high school with my two cousins, Sophia
and Alana out.

Speaker 2 (22:55):
Of the board and so she you know, wait cousin
that you just went wedding dress shopping with.

Speaker 4 (23:02):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (23:02):
Yeah, So when I was down there, she asked Alana
if she could, you know, FaceTime her to talk to me, and.

Speaker 4 (23:10):
It was so cute. And medicine is like so amazing, and.

Speaker 7 (23:14):
I'm hoping that we're we're kind of in the talks
and works of doing some sort of collaboration between her
bracelets and me and my sister's loungedrawer line Nice Girls label,
where you know, the proceeds from a percentage of our
proceeds will go to whatever cause it is that she's
really working with. And so she just she's such a

(23:35):
kind like soft soul and I love her so much.

Speaker 4 (23:38):
She's the best.

Speaker 2 (23:38):
That's amazing. Did you watch Love on the Spectrum.

Speaker 4 (23:41):
A little bit?

Speaker 2 (23:42):
Yeah, okay for her. So literally, I just finished going
through my green car process and I literally it was
like my comfort show through it. I'd never watched it,
and my friend was like, you have to watch season three.
It's just a great, like like enjoyable, fun, beautiful show
to watch and also just has like nothing to do
with my green cart process, which is the goal when

(24:03):
I'm just trying to like check out. And I loved
her so much, and she's she's obsessed with The Bachelor.
It's like her favorite show. Yeah, she like references Jen's
season a bunch of shit. She's always like, I feel
like I'm on my one on one date on The Bachelor, like.

Speaker 6 (24:17):
She said to us when when we talk on FaceTime
on the phone, she had said that that same thing
to us.

Speaker 2 (24:23):
So yeah, she's like a cute. My mom. I was
watching it with my mom. She's like, oh my god,
this is so funny. Like she loves like one of
the odds that she loves The Bachelor so much. So
I'm sure she was so excited to meet you because
she literally said like, would you watch I think she
was like, will you watch Gen's season with The Bachelor.
I'm like, oh my gosh, she knows Grant for sure.

Speaker 4 (24:44):
Oh my god. Yeah she was.

Speaker 7 (24:45):
She was so excited, and I was like, I'm so
excited to like be talking to you, you know what
I mean?

Speaker 2 (24:53):
Truly?

Speaker 4 (24:53):
Oh cool?

Speaker 2 (24:55):
Like I was like, I am fangirling that she watches
the show that I was on.

Speaker 4 (25:02):
So cool, Oh my god. And also, congratulations on your
green card. That's so excited, Congress.

Speaker 5 (25:08):
I saw that on Instagram. So that's Congress.

Speaker 2 (25:10):
Thank you. I appreciate it. Yeah, long time coming, but
usually if happy to be back in.

Speaker 3 (25:16):
New York now now now having gone through everything. Any
advice you would give to, you know, the next couple
coming off the show for post show, you go.

Speaker 5 (25:31):
Just find a balance between you know, what's what people.

Speaker 6 (25:36):
Are seeing on Instagram or social media and the balance
between what you keep personally on what you keep in
your own life.

Speaker 5 (25:43):
That that would be my advice.

Speaker 4 (25:45):
Yeah, that's good advice. I think the same thing.

Speaker 7 (25:47):
I think it's like, you know, just because you allowed
people into that like a certain portion of your life,
you know, do you have to understand that you don't
have to like share everything, even though everybody wants to
see everything.

Speaker 4 (26:04):
It's and I appreciate them for that.

Speaker 7 (26:07):
It's just that, by nature, I've just always been a
bit more of a private person, which is, you know,
I went on a reality dating show, So it sounds
silly saying it, but you know it's I'm really trying
to figure out like how to still let people into
my life and me and Grant's life versus like things
that I just like I just want to keep to myself,

(26:29):
you know.

Speaker 2 (26:31):
Yeah, No, I feel like we can totally relate. We
had a lot of conversations on that topic as well
when we came off the show of just like, okay,
now that we have control over what and how much
and when things are shared, like where's that line? What
are we both comfortable with? Where's the happy medium of
like sharing and then also having privacy.

Speaker 1 (26:53):
Yeah, yeah, I just know.

Speaker 3 (26:54):
I never want to feel like I have to share anything, right.

Speaker 2 (27:00):
Yeah, you never want to feel like you have to
do anything period.

Speaker 1 (27:06):
That's also true, but yeah it's.

Speaker 4 (27:08):
Really good then.

Speaker 2 (27:08):
Yeah, and you feel like you're doing it because you
have to, you're probably not doing it for the right reason.

Speaker 3 (27:12):
Yeah, And I think you get a lot of couples
after the show that that feel like they are obligated
to share or they or they feel the need to
just post so much, and then it gets a point
where it's like there isn't that balance between your relationship
and what you share, and you kind of get lost
in that.

Speaker 2 (27:31):
Well, I think it's much easier to set those boundaries
from the get go with yourself and your social media
versus like pulling back later on. I mean, look like
there's no right or wrong way to do it, but
I think it's Yeah, it's just easier to when you've
developed that habit and that routine of it all from
the beginning.

Speaker 3 (27:47):
Yeah, Juliana, besides Ellie Joe, any girls from your season
you plan on seeing anytime sooner you're like, I'm done
with them.

Speaker 1 (27:58):
I got my family than my friends, and.

Speaker 7 (28:03):
That is like, baby, But no, I go to New
York a lot, so I was trying to meet up
with Seraphina, but she actually booked a flight out to
Chicago when I was there. And then Beverlee, I love her.
I really hope I get to see her next time
I'm in New York and Parisa. Yeah, I hope to

(28:25):
see Parisa sometime soon.

Speaker 5 (28:27):
Nice.

Speaker 2 (28:28):
Yeah, amazing.

Speaker 1 (28:30):
Grant you golf?

Speaker 6 (28:32):
No, No, I don't golf. You know, I've been getting
you know, I only played basketball. I box a lot baseball,
But you know, maybe my golf's I definitely could work
on that a little bit, a little bit.

Speaker 1 (28:45):
I started playing last year.

Speaker 3 (28:48):
Now I'm obsessed with I'm not good, but like I'm trying.

Speaker 1 (28:53):
I'm getting better.

Speaker 3 (28:54):
I'm getting better, but it's just like it's an addicting sport.
But you're an athlete. So I thought, maybe I.

Speaker 5 (28:58):
Suck at golf. Literally.

Speaker 6 (29:00):
I remember we were filming the show and Jesse Palmer
the one thing I'm good at is like driving the ball,
but putting the putting the golf. But it's called it's
a golf, right, That's It's like putting is not.

Speaker 5 (29:13):
Something else something I don't even know.

Speaker 2 (29:18):
Grant as the last Bachelor, have you had the chance
to connect with the new gold a Bachelor yet?

Speaker 5 (29:23):
Yeah? I actually went to to get real event. Oh yeah,
the Oh that was it was fun. It definitely was interesting.
It was really fun.

Speaker 6 (29:32):
There's a lot of familiar faces there and uh yeah
it was.

Speaker 5 (29:36):
It was a good time. It was a good time.

Speaker 2 (29:38):
Nice. So what'd you think of the new guy?

Speaker 6 (29:41):
I think he's cool. I think he's really I think
he's going to be different, you know. I think he's
gonna be he's really interesting.

Speaker 5 (29:47):
And I think he has his like certain like aura
or swag about him. That's going to be cool. You know.
Just see see how I got to talk to him.

Speaker 6 (29:55):
And you know, being the bachelor is not not an
easy job, but you're fortunate if you come out of
there with a relationship that's meaningful.

Speaker 5 (30:00):
So we talked and chatted about that, and I wish
the best for him.

Speaker 2 (30:05):
What advice did you give him?

Speaker 5 (30:07):
That? Was it? Just going there? Be yourself?

Speaker 6 (30:09):
Like, I think that's the one biggest thing, just be
just be yourself and and uh pufull things work out amazing.

Speaker 2 (30:20):
Any other highlights from the Hulu event?

Speaker 4 (30:24):
Uh? Come on?

Speaker 1 (30:27):
Oh yeah, Juliana, you weren't there.

Speaker 4 (30:30):
I opted out.

Speaker 5 (30:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (30:34):
Do you wonder where Juliana is? Guys, when Grant is
in seven different countries in the same week, she's at
home with her family, how is meeting Chloe and Scott?

Speaker 5 (30:47):
It was cool, it was you know, it was cool.

Speaker 6 (30:49):
But they're they're you know, regular people like everybody else,
and they just have you know, some good conversations. And
but it was definitely cool seeing them on TV and
then seeing them in person, and it was it was
a really fun, fun time, really cool event.

Speaker 3 (31:03):
Yeah, we were we were invited that we couldn't go
just because Yeah, and I wouldn't have flown all the
way for that shoe.

Speaker 2 (31:11):
Also would have been with Julia at I'll help listen.

Speaker 5 (31:15):
Sometimes that's where listen homes the heartiest for real.

Speaker 7 (31:18):
So this is such a light you know. That is
like then I was like, you can just you can
go without me.

Speaker 2 (31:25):
It's far, it's far. I feel like it's like one hour,
let's do it, two hours, let's do it, three hours.
I'm getting a little hesitant. Four or five, six.

Speaker 1 (31:34):
Five and a half, five and a half, three hour
time change.

Speaker 2 (31:39):
It's a big one.

Speaker 3 (31:39):
Yeah, before we let you guys go, anything you want
to share, anything new coming up?

Speaker 6 (31:46):
Yeah, we just have a lot of travel planned and
we just got we just got life planned, you know,
life getting ready to live life together.

Speaker 5 (31:52):
And I think, like I said, that's the most exciting thing.

Speaker 6 (31:54):
So nothing too crazy, just you know, we're regular people
and we're we're ready to get to get going.

Speaker 7 (32:00):
We're getting our families together for Father's Day.

Speaker 2 (32:04):
Well that mean the first time they meet.

Speaker 7 (32:07):
No, they met, they met at the AFR the after party.
But it'll be really fun like to kind of just
have everything calm and I mean, I say calm, but
my dad there's a really big Father's Day party every
year and bring grand simily into the events.

Speaker 2 (32:22):
So the way, that's so funny. I've never heard of
like a dad being like, I'm going all out for
Father's Day, Like, let's go juels dad.

Speaker 6 (32:32):
She has one of the best dads, and her and
my dad just hit it off the bat.

Speaker 5 (32:36):
They hit it off right off the bat.

Speaker 6 (32:38):
You know, they've both worked in the car dealership and
they talk really often. So that's another unique situation that
came out of this whole experience.

Speaker 2 (32:46):
Oh that's awesome. Well, we're excited to see and follow
along with all your travel with a Ruba, Italy, Madrid,
Father's Day, all the things coming up, and thank you
guys so much for coming on and we're just yeah,
