you our best bets for week twelve. The holidays have
not hit quite yet, so I know next week will
be madness and we'll have it all on Lockdown for you.
We're gonna have Thanksgiving game coverage. We're gonna have that special,

a special giving time of a lot of picks and
a lot of takes next week. But Week twelve is
just regular old straight picking.

coming off a great week. Let's just call what it
is here four and one. Last week, I was unfortunately
two and three. I missed being three and two by

But anyway, what are we gonna do? We move on
to week twelve here, but a great showing by Andrews.
Hopefully everybody followed him last week and tracked him over

get after it. Giants Lions. We talked about this and
the look Ahead show on Monday. I know we're talking
about big totals, the Lions bouncing back offensively. So what
is your way to bet Lions Giants?

I'm going to lay the points with the Lions minus
ten and a half against the New York Giants.

Detroit is back at home in the Dome.

They're playing indoor games every single week until Week eighteen,
so we're gonna see a ton of fantasy points for
the Lions players through the rest of the season, and
this particular matchup they're going to get back on track.
Dan Campbell has a way of figuring out what went
wrong the week before. If they lose a game, they're
ten to zero against the spread after a loss. Since
twenty twenty three, they've covered the spread fourteen of their

last fifteen games following loss, including thirteen straight. This is
just a process play. You bet on the Lions after
they lose, especially when they're playing at home against one
of the worst defenses in the NFL, the New York Giants.
So whether it's Jackson Dart, whether it's Jamius Winston, I
don't really care. The Lions are going to win this
game by two touchdowns, and they're gonna score a boatload

of points, which I know you really like. As an
angle in this game.

there by one point. Thirty six, thirty six points per game. Now,
what's the team total for this game. It's thirty and
a half. Boys and girls, it's thirty and a half.
So I'm gonna take the over at minus one fifteen

on that thirty and a half because it's the Giants
defense and it's the Lions at home. So I'm pretty
confident that I got a wide margin of error here
by six points. I'm sorry if I wasn't clear enough
there with the over. I meant the team total over.
I thought you heard me on that one. But I'm
going team total here. I'm not trying to rely on
the Giants. Jackson Dart, who knows right now is the

recording this. We're hopeful he's gonna play. It seems like
things are moving in the right direction. What if he
gets knocked out again? Too many ifs for me, So
just give me the Lions now. Look if they hit
thirty six, hopefully Andrew Erickson's helpful and hopeful that we'll
get over that main total as well. We'll talk about
that later in the show. Also, so the Lions by
a wide margin. The Lions though, to go over thirty
(03:43):
and a half points, that's my favorite way to start.

I want to go with our new England Patriots taking
on the Cincinnati Bengals. Now, the Bengals defense has been
absolutely just atrocious. They're basically eliminated here from the playoffs, folks.
I mean, I know the hope of Joe Burrow returning
was something that every Bengals fan was lighting candles for
in church, but it's not gonna save the season here.
And Jamar Chase being out for this game makes things
(04:07):
infinitely harder when you don't have him on the docket.
So we talked about this on a look ahead. We
thought there was early value on the Patriots. The line
did move a little bit too, even more towards the Patriots,
but I still like minus six and a half. Patriots
have been good on the road this year and they've
been broad warriors. I think they're confident. They've got extra rest.
They got a terrible defense they're playing against in Cincinnati.
Drake May's playing out of his mind. The explosiveness of
(04:29):
Trevion Henderson is something that the Bengals just can't handle.
They can't tackle anybody. It's a joke on The Patriots
are more physical team too, and I think that's going
to show up big time in this game. So I
will take the Patriots with the six and a half
points here against Cincinnati. Ericson where are you going for
your second pick for Week twelve?
Speaker 3 (04:47):
Going to Nashville, Tennessee with Tennessee Titans. We're getting double
digits as a home underdog. Look, I'm just a sucker
for getting this many points with a home team, even
though it is the Tennessee Titans. And give to credit
where credit is due. The Titans have covered back to
back home games, so since they got rid of Brian Callahan,
we actually have seen some types of improvements. Now, it's
(05:10):
not anything earth moving when it comes to the Tennessee Titan.
Still probably the worst team in the NFL, but they
are finding ways to cover some of these games, especially
when they're playing at home. And I'm looking at Seattle.
Usually it's an auto smash for me. Seattle on the road,
doesn't matter, it doesn't matter who they're playing. They always cover.
They usually win outright. Even last week I was on
(05:30):
Seattle plus three. But I feel like the football regression
gods are going to come down on Sam Donald hard
here because the fact that they not only covered and
they actually almost won the game.
Speaker 2 (05:42):
He kicks that sixty wing yard field goal.
Speaker 3 (05:43):
They could win that game against the Los Angeles Rams,
he threw four interceptions. What are the odds that you
can actually cover a game that close and throw four picks.
I just think that this is a bad situation for
the Seattle Seax playing on the road, going from West
coast to East coast, playing in the one o'clock window,
and they have offensive line injuries back to back weeks.
(06:04):
They've lost a starter on that O line, Jeffrey Simmons,
Devondi Schweat. Those guys were getting after the Texans in
their last matchup. So I think that, yeah, Seahawks are
going to find a way to win this game, but
is it going to be by two touchdowns? With the injuries?
Sam Darman turned back into a pumpkin. So again, I
usually love betting on Seattle as a road team. It's
one of my best and most profitable. You know, the

betting systems like Seattle's road team, bet them every single time.
But this particular matchup, I'm squeamish to bet on on
my Hawks. So I'm going to go with the Titans
here plus thirteen and a half?
Speaker 1 (06:36):
All right, I struggled here with number three. There's not
a lot of things that I'm in love with this week,
but I'm just gonna trust the process and what my
eyes have seen here. And they're early going from JJ McCarthy,
which are things just aren't good justin Jefferson seems disenfranchised.
JJ can't hook up with the other JJ here at all.
They can't get on the same page. And now they're
going on the road here to Green Bay, and with
(06:59):
that pass rush that Green Bay is going to provide
with Michael Parsons, I'm just concerned that that's going to
be too much for the young QB to handle. If
it was a cookie matchup here, I might feel better
about him getting right. But right now, the Green Bay
Packers are fighting for their life in the playoff hunt.
Right now, they have that stubborn little tie that they
had from earlier in the season, So they're in a
tough situation in this game. They've really got to come
(07:20):
away with the victory here, put Minnesota in their place,
and put Minnesota behind them and the Vikings I know
need this game desperately, And I said before, this is
the time of year I'm looking at teams and I'm
trying to bet teams that have something to play for,
and I feel like the Minnesota Vikings season is practically
on the line here. But I just don't believe in
what they're doing. The defense has given up too many
big plays. I don't love the offense. I don't love
(07:42):
the fact that the green Bay Packers are dealing with
the Josh Jacobs injury. I don't love a lot of
things when it comes to green Bay, but I like
very little when I look at Minnesota and what they've
been able to do on both sides at a football recently.
I mean, you can't lose to the Bears at home.
To me, that was kind of a knife in the
heart moment for them. So can I belie leave that
they can go to Green Bay and win. No? Do
I think they can cover? Maybe, But instead I'm just
(08:05):
gonna put my eggs into the basket of green Bay
and the Packers, and I think that basket's full of cheese,
and hopefully it's full of at least six and a
half points, because that is the line right now. So
give me the green Bay Packers plus six and a half.
Andrew Erickson, we talked earlier this week about the Nordlands Saints.
Are you still on that bandwagon.
Speaker 3 (08:23):
Yes, Saints minus one half because it's not enough points
when you're facing Kirk Cousins with Outdrake London.
Speaker 2 (08:30):
Cousins on the road.
Speaker 3 (08:31):
Offensive line has been dealing with a ton of injuries
for the Atlanta Falcons, and he can't move, can't move,
and he can't move the ball downfield. Darnold Mooney has
been terrible this season. Kyle Pitts another disappointing year. So
I just like the Saints in this spot. And I've
talked about a lot on this show this year about
betting against rookie quarterbacks on the road, but conversely, you
(08:53):
want to bet on them when they are favored at home.
One of my best bets, I think all year was
when the Browns were hosting the Miami Dolphins and Dylan
Gabriel was a favorite quarterback as a fourth round pick
minus one and a half and the Browns destroyed the
Miami Dolphins in that game. It was one of my
favorite bets all year. And I'm getting similar vibes here
with the New Orleans Saints. You look at rookie quarterbacks
(09:14):
at home and so this is from visen so since
the start of the twenty twenty season, rookie starting quarterbacks
have been taking care of business at home in the
favorite role of going forty one and eleven straight up
thirty eight thirteen and one against the spread. That's seventy
five percent of a hit rate. And just this season, look,
I talked about it with cam Ward. He started out
zero to three at home. He's now two and oh
(09:34):
over his last two games. And obviously he hasn't been
favored in any of his games this year. Jackson dart
is two and one against the spread at home, one
in three against the spread on the road, Dylan Gabriel
two and oher at home, and he's the only rookie
quarterback this year to be favored in a game at home,
and it was in that aforementioned game against the Dolphins
which they destroyed Miami. So I love the New Orleans
Saints in this spot. Tyler Schuck making his first home
(09:56):
start again the last two games he's been on the road.
Rookie quarterbacks is here combined six and four kins of
spread at home, three and one in divisional contest. So
even though it is a divisional game which sometimes give
us like the heavy gbs of like I don't know.
I've seen enough of Atlanta this year. It's more their
team is more cooked than Thanksgiving turkey you're gonna have
next week. So I love taking the Saints here mins
(10:18):
one and a half minus three. Go, let's go, sayes, all.
Speaker 1 (10:21):
Right, fair enough there, all right, let's continue, and I'll
make turkey on Thanksgiving. I do short ribs because turkey
is so much work and it's gross and you gotta
stick your hands up the bird and do the stuffing
and all, and it's it's too much work and turkey
is just kind of blah. It's fine, it's not worth it.
All the short ribs, however, you do them in the morning.
You make them and then they're just ready. You put

them in the pot. They braize for a couple hours,
five hours. Beautiful. That's my recommendation, everybody, pivot off the
turkey you do you out there for Thanksgiving. And also

Indianapolis Colts have been good. I've said they're not just
AFC South good. They're good this year and I want
to respect them. However, now we're starting to punch in

Back in the day before Andrew's time, we had a

You know, started out with Glass Joe, and you started
out with King Hippo. You kind of moved your way
up the ranks, right and eventually you fought some guys
that were much tougher. And I feel like that's kind
of what's happening little Mac. You know, scrappy Indianapolis Colts.
I know they're coming off of buy and that's great,
but now they're going to face the Kansas City Chiefs,
who have been there, done that. Now the Chiefs are
(11:59):
in a position and again where this is must win territory.
They are at home. This is big stuff here for
the Kansas City Chiefs and the opponents. Right now this
season for the Indianapolis Colts have a winning percentage under
five hundred. So if you look back at what they've
done here, sure you want against Miami. You should have
lost against Denver, but you eat out of victory misted Field,
go okay, whatever things happen. They beat the Titans, they
(12:20):
lost to the Rams though when they got tested, and
then wins against the Raiders, the Cardinals, the Chargers, the Titans,
even the Steelers. When they played the Steelers, what they do.
They lost, and the Steelers aren't a great football team.
Now they beat Atlanta, I think we all know what
kind of team Atlanta is. Now they get Kansas City,
and I think Kansas City is the first real opponent
they're gonna have to face, and I think they're gonna
(12:41):
punch in the mouth, and unfortunately, I don't think they're
gonna be able to hit that a button fast enough
to try to get up in order to get back
and stand up again. I think it's a TKO here
for the Indianapolis Colts. So give me the Kansas City
Chiefs minus three and a half, and I'm gonna stop
now because I can't take the Mike Tyson punch out
metaphor any further than I already have. That's it, It's
all I can do. Andrew Erickson, what is your next

pick here for.

Week twelve, same game?
Speaker 3 (13:05):
I am not picking sides here though, because the Chiefs
Lady Luck has found somebody else right like, she is
no longer hanging out in Kansas City. So I'm gonna
avoid the three and a half points spread too close
for me. I'm gonna take the under in this game
under fifty and a half points. Yes, the Colts offense
has been really, really explosive this season, but to your point,
they've faced a easier schedule of opponents, so I think
(13:27):
that might hurt their offense a little bit, especially going
up against a really strong Kansas City Chiefs defense. If
you look at the way the Chiefs have played their games,
the last five games that they've played all done under
the projected total. Casey has the highest under hit rate
in totals at home seventy one percent since twenty twenty three,
and just this year the Chiefs are seventy to three
towards the under. So I think that they will play
(13:50):
defensively pretty well here at home at Arrowhead against Daniel Jones.
Playing on the road. We've seen the last two weeks
Daniel Jones has kind of turned back a little bit
more into his giant self. Five turnovers, two interceptions, three
fumbles over the Colts lasts two games. So I think
this is more a defense about a little bit more
of low scoring. I know that the Colts are going
to come in here try to establish a run with
(14:11):
Jonathan Taylor, like that's how they win this game. And
I think that if Colts want to come away with
the victory, it is a low scoring game that they
squeak out a field goal type of win. So I
like the under here at fifteen and a half points.
I think that's just way too high for a Chiefs
home game. When we find that Chiefs home games tend
to not be really high scoring. You look at since
the start of last year, the only games that have
gone over fifty points have been Ravens, Chiefs, Bills, Chiefs
(14:34):
Bengals chiefs so and Bucks chiefs in overtime. So again,
I just don't think that Daniel Jones is the same
as those types of quarterbacks heading into airhead Nless, of
course we get like an overtime type of game environment.

All right, fair enough there, fair enough, so we both

final selection here, I'm gonna go with the Arizona Cardinals
plus two and a half verst to Jacksonville Jaguars. I know,
I said last week, I've officially thrown in the towel
of ever knowing what the Jaguars are going to do,

and I stand by that. So here's my thought process
this week. I know I'm going against kind of what
I said by even considering wagering in a game that
they are taking part in, but these out of conference
games get a little weird sometimes, and going on the
road out of conference, I think Arizona can actually handle
(15:44):
their business. You know, Jacoby were said completed forty seven
passes last week. I know San Francisco has its problems
on the secondary. I think we all agree a lot
of injuries of ravage that defense. But at the same time,
I think Arizona's trying to make a statement here, and
I think against the Jacksonville Jaguars, I think they can
at least keep this game close. Maybe it's a one
point game or something to that effect. Tech I think
(16:05):
Arizona's even a play to win out right, So I'll
think the Arizona Cardinals at home plus two and a
half against the Jacksonville Jaguars out of conference game. Again,
those are a little trickier to gauge, especially when that
team is traveling. So I'm gonna go ahead and take
my shot at the Jagson Who knows, maybe I'll officially
crack the code of the Jaguars for once.

Speaker 1 (16:22):
I know we've had our ups and downs with Baker Mayfield.
I am passing on him this week, but Andrew Rickson,
you are dipping your toes in the water once again.
Speaker 3 (16:32):
Look, no trend is going to hit at one hundred
percent rate. You know, sometimes Baker Mayfield's gonna go on
the road and he's not gonna cover. But it happens.
Speaker 2 (16:38):
But I was still encouraged by what I saw last week.
Speaker 3 (16:41):
So spoiler, I'm taking the Bucks again plus seven on
the road against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday Night football.
So after we have a four and O Sunday, you'll
be able to top it off with a five and
OL start after the Sunday night football game. Because I
just I'm gonna go right back to it. I'm not
going to be dissuaded by one week where I wasn't
like on in pressed by the Buccaneers. They had chances
(17:01):
to win that game in Buffalo. That game was back
and forth, and look, give credit to Josh Allen. He
scored six touchdowns, all right, the guy superman. And that's
what it took for the Buccaneers not to cover in
Buffalo despite I think a pretty strong game from Baker Mayfield.
He was running more, which is something that we had
not seen the last couple of games, so I think
he is a little bit more healthy. You have him
coming off a loss, playing on the road as an
(17:22):
underdog in a revenge game. Spot for Baker Mayfield, who
formerly played for the Rams. He had a cup of
coffee with Sean McVay one a Thursday night football game.
Speaker 2 (17:29):
Was was a ton of fun.
Speaker 3 (17:30):
So I think that he's going to be fired up
for this particular matchup, going up against the MVP front
runner with Matthew Stafford. Are gonna be the best team
in the NFL. This is just like prime. Oh, Baker
Mayfield's going to have himself a day now. Do they
win the game, Probably not, But I think that it's
going to be much tighter than seven points, especially when
you look at the Rams. They're one of the most

overrated teams when they're playing at home of terms of
against the spread, So I like going after Baker Mayfield here.
Quentin Lay, the starting safety for the Rams, is out
of this game. He plays nearly every single snap defensively,
so I think that's an overlooked injury on the defensive
side of the football for the Los Angeles Rams. I
like Bucks here, Rams as home favorites three and five
(18:13):
against the spread since twenty twenty four. That's not that
impressive a record, especially when you compare it to Faker
Mayfield on the road as an underdog after a loss,
going right back to the Bucks.
Speaker 1 (18:23):
All right, it's time everybody for our hard rock best
bet of the week for Andrew Rickson and myself, Joey Peace.
So we are going to be sticking both in the
same game again. We're gonna start right here where we
began the show, and we're gonna go right back to
that Lions contest here with the New York Giants. I'm
taking the team total over thirty and a half again.
(18:44):
It's my favorite bet of the week. Why because they're
averaging thirty six points at home this year in twenty
twenty five, the Lions has come off a bad loss.
They're gonna go home where they crush life at home,
and the Giants defense is beginning crushed all season. They
just can't stop anybody. So give me the team total
over thirty and a half for Detroit. Andrew, what's your
take again? Just to remind everybody on this game, and

Favorite Lions minus ten and a half. The process says,
anytime the run the Lions lose, you bet on them
the next week, especially when they play at home. Ten
and zero against the spread since a loss. Since twenty
twenty three, Jackson Dart is one in three against the
spread in his four roads starts this season. And to
just add more field to the fire of how many
points the Lions are going to score in this game,

the Giants defense thirty second in red zone defense this season,
So anytime the Lions getting close to scoring, they're punching

to the upsets special of the week here Andrew Erickson,
And you know, I got a feeling like the Eagles
are a little broken right now. Like I know they're
the Ranning defending champs, but let's do a little assessment
of what we've seen from the Eagles the last couple
weeks here, because I think things are a little off,
a little askew. So they lost to the Denver Broncos

in Week five, remember that at home. Then they lost
to the New York Giants on a Thursday night on
the road. Ooh, that was gross. Now they rotted off
a couple wins there where they beat the Minnesota Vikings. Okay,
that's not really super impressive to me. They beat the
New York Giants again, again, not that impressive to me.
And then they had their bye, came back and then
they played a very ugly game against a Green Bay
Packers where they only scored ten points. And then an

ugly game last week against the Detroit Lions. This one
was at home, but they scored just sixteen points. That's
twenty six points in the last two weeks.

I know the Dallas Cowboys defense has had struggled this year,
but twenty six points in the last two weeks, that's
not gonna get it done at home against the Dallas Cowboys,
the team that scores well over thirty at home this year.
So if you're gonna keep pace here with the Dallas
Cowboys in what this amalgamation of what they are now,
don't tell me about week one. I don't want to
hear about Week one. Every team is just kind of
(22:03):
figuring itself out still in week one. We're in week
twelve now. The Cowboys, I feel like, are starting to
feel themselves a little bit, starting to have a little
inspired football potentially. I know they've got problems. They are
far from perfect, but this is an Indivision game. This
is an important game for the Dallas Cowboys. If the
Cowboys are gonna go on a run, it's gonna be
off of a win like this being the Philadelphia Eagles.

And I gotta tell you, Andrew Rickson, I think they're
gonna do just that this week. Plus one forty five
on the money line, give me the Dallas Cowboys for
the big upset. What do you think of my upsets
special this week? Andrew? Am I crazy?

I think this is a really good one. I consider
Dallas as part of my card this week with the
points at home. Like, I know, they're coming off a
short week, but they're coming off an early strong performance,

Anyway, they had that weather delay and it looked like
the offense is we're gonna score both thirty points and
then we saw no points scored after the light stormed away.
So I think that Eagles are gonna have their work

They're playing indoor games every single week until Week eighteen,
so we're gonna see a ton of fantasy points for
the Lions players through the rest of the season, and
this particular matchup they're going to get back on track.
Dan Campbell has a way of figuring out what went
wrong the week before. If they lose a game, they're
ten to zero against the spread after a loss. Since
twenty twenty three, they've covered the spread fourteen of their
(01:44):
last fifteen games following loss, including thirteen straight. This is
just a process play. You bet on the Lions after
they lose, especially when they're playing at home against one
of the worst defenses in the NFL, the New York Giants.
So whether it's Jackson Dart, whether it's Jamius Winston, I
don't really care. The Lions are going to win this
game by two touchdowns, and they're gonna score a boatload

of points, which I know you really like. As an
angle in this game.

what's the team total for this game. It's thirty and
a half. Boys and girls, it's thirty and a half.
So I'm gonna take the over at minus one fifteen

on that thirty and a half because it's the Giants
defense and it's the Lions at home. So I'm pretty
confident that I got a wide margin of error here
by six points. I'm sorry if I wasn't clear enough
there with the over. I meant the team total over.
I thought you heard me on that one. But I'm
going team total here. I'm not trying to rely on
the Giants. Jackson Dart, who knows right now is the

recording this. We're hopeful he's gonna play. It seems like
things are moving in the right direction. What if he
gets knocked out again? Too many ifs for me, So
just give me the Lions now. Look if they hit
thirty six, hopefully Andrew Erickson's helpful and hopeful that we'll
get over that main total as well. We'll talk about
that later in the show. Also, so the Lions by
a wide margin. The Lions though, to go over thirty
(03:43):
and a half points, that's my favorite way to start.

I want to go with our new England Patriots taking
on the Cincinnati Bengals. Now, the Bengals defense has been
absolutely just atrocious. They're basically eliminated here from the playoffs, folks.
I mean, I know the hope of Joe Burrow returning
was something that every Bengals fan was lighting candles for
in church, but it's not gonna save the season here.
And Jamar Chase being out for this game makes things
(04:07):
infinitely harder when you don't have him on the docket.
So we talked about this on a look ahead. We
thought there was early value on the Patriots. The line
did move a little bit too, even more towards the Patriots,
but I still like minus six and a half. Patriots
have been good on the road this year and they've
been broad warriors. I think they're confident. They've got extra rest.
They got a terrible defense they're playing against in Cincinnati.
Drake May's playing out of his mind. The explosiveness of
(04:29):
Trevion Henderson is something that the Bengals just can't handle.
They can't tackle anybody. It's a joke on The Patriots
are more physical team too, and I think that's going
to show up big time in this game. So I
will take the Patriots with the six and a half
points here against Cincinnati. Ericson where are you going for
your second pick for Week twelve?
Speaker 3 (04:47):
Going to Nashville, Tennessee with Tennessee Titans. We're getting double
digits as a home underdog. Look, I'm just a sucker
for getting this many points with a home team, even
though it is the Tennessee Titans. And give to credit
where credit is due. The Titans have covered back to
back home games, so since they got rid of Brian Callahan,
we actually have seen some types of improvements. Now, it's
(05:10):
not anything earth moving when it comes to the Tennessee Titan.
Still probably the worst team in the NFL, but they
are finding ways to cover some of these games, especially
when they're playing at home. And I'm looking at Seattle.
Usually it's an auto smash for me. Seattle on the road,
doesn't matter, it doesn't matter who they're playing. They always cover.
They usually win outright. Even last week I was on
(05:30):
Seattle plus three. But I feel like the football regression
gods are going to come down on Sam Donald hard
here because the fact that they not only covered and
they actually almost won the game.
Speaker 2 (05:42):
He kicks that sixty wing yard field goal.
Speaker 3 (05:43):
They could win that game against the Los Angeles Rams,
he threw four interceptions. What are the odds that you
can actually cover a game that close and throw four picks.
I just think that this is a bad situation for
the Seattle Seax playing on the road, going from West
coast to East coast, playing in the one o'clock window,
and they have offensive line injuries back to back weeks.
(06:04):
They've lost a starter on that O line, Jeffrey Simmons,
Devondi Schweat. Those guys were getting after the Texans in
their last matchup. So I think that, yeah, Seahawks are
going to find a way to win this game, but
is it going to be by two touchdowns? With the injuries?
Sam Darman turned back into a pumpkin. So again, I
usually love betting on Seattle as a road team. It's
one of my best and most profitable. You know, the
(06:26):
betting systems like Seattle's road team, bet them every single time.
But this particular matchup, I'm squeamish to bet on on
my Hawks. So I'm going to go with the Titans
here plus thirteen and a half?
Speaker 1 (06:36):
All right, I struggled here with number three. There's not
a lot of things that I'm in love with this week,
but I'm just gonna trust the process and what my
eyes have seen here. And they're early going from JJ McCarthy,
which are things just aren't good justin Jefferson seems disenfranchised.
JJ can't hook up with the other JJ here at all.
They can't get on the same page. And now they're
going on the road here to Green Bay, and with
(06:59):
that pass rush that Green Bay is going to provide
with Michael Parsons, I'm just concerned that that's going to
be too much for the young QB to handle. If
it was a cookie matchup here, I might feel better
about him getting right. But right now, the Green Bay
Packers are fighting for their life in the playoff hunt.
Right now, they have that stubborn little tie that they
had from earlier in the season, So they're in a
tough situation in this game. They've really got to come
(07:20):
away with the victory here, put Minnesota in their place,
and put Minnesota behind them and the Vikings I know
need this game desperately, And I said before, this is
the time of year I'm looking at teams and I'm
trying to bet teams that have something to play for,
and I feel like the Minnesota Vikings season is practically
on the line here. But I just don't believe in
what they're doing. The defense has given up too many
big plays. I don't love the offense. I don't love
(07:42):
the fact that the green Bay Packers are dealing with
the Josh Jacobs injury. I don't love a lot of
things when it comes to green Bay, but I like
very little when I look at Minnesota and what they've
been able to do on both sides at a football recently.
I mean, you can't lose to the Bears at home.
To me, that was kind of a knife in the
heart moment for them. So can I belie leave that
they can go to Green Bay and win. No? Do
I think they can cover? Maybe, But instead I'm just
(08:05):
gonna put my eggs into the basket of green Bay
and the Packers, and I think that basket's full of cheese,
and hopefully it's full of at least six and a
half points, because that is the line right now. So
give me the green Bay Packers plus six and a half.
Andrew Erickson, we talked earlier this week about the Nordlands Saints.
Are you still on that bandwagon.
Speaker 3 (08:23):
Yes, Saints minus one half because it's not enough points
when you're facing Kirk Cousins with Outdrake London.
Speaker 2 (08:30):
Cousins on the road.
Speaker 3 (08:31):
Offensive line has been dealing with a ton of injuries
for the Atlanta Falcons, and he can't move, can't move,
and he can't move the ball downfield. Darnold Mooney has
been terrible this season. Kyle Pitts another disappointing year. So
I just like the Saints in this spot. And I've
talked about a lot on this show this year about
betting against rookie quarterbacks on the road, but conversely, you
(08:53):
want to bet on them when they are favored at home.
One of my best bets, I think all year was
when the Browns were hosting the Miami Dolphins and Dylan
Gabriel was a favorite quarterback as a fourth round pick
minus one and a half and the Browns destroyed the
Miami Dolphins in that game. It was one of my
favorite bets all year. And I'm getting similar vibes here
with the New Orleans Saints. You look at rookie quarterbacks
(09:14):
at home and so this is from visen so since
the start of the twenty twenty season, rookie starting quarterbacks
have been taking care of business at home in the
favorite role of going forty one and eleven straight up
thirty eight thirteen and one against the spread. That's seventy
five percent of a hit rate. And just this season, look,
I talked about it with cam Ward. He started out
zero to three at home. He's now two and oh
(09:34):
over his last two games. And obviously he hasn't been
favored in any of his games this year. Jackson dart
is two and one against the spread at home, one
in three against the spread on the road, Dylan Gabriel
two and oher at home, and he's the only rookie
quarterback this year to be favored in a game at home,
and it was in that aforementioned game against the Dolphins
which they destroyed Miami. So I love the New Orleans
Saints in this spot. Tyler Schuck making his first home
(09:56):
start again the last two games he's been on the road.
Rookie quarterbacks is here combined six and four kins of
spread at home, three and one in divisional contest. So
even though it is a divisional game which sometimes give
us like the heavy gbs of like I don't know.
I've seen enough of Atlanta this year. It's more their
team is more cooked than Thanksgiving turkey you're gonna have
next week. So I love taking the Saints here mins
(10:18):
one and a half minus three. Go, let's go, sayes, all.
Speaker 1 (10:21):
Right, fair enough there, all right, let's continue, and I'll
make turkey on Thanksgiving. I do short ribs because turkey
is so much work and it's gross and you gotta
stick your hands up the bird and do the stuffing
and all, and it's it's too much work and turkey
is just kind of blah. It's fine, it's not worth it.
All the short ribs, however, you do them in the morning.
You make them and then they're just ready. You put

them in the pot. They braize for a couple hours,
five hours. Beautiful. That's my recommendation, everybody, pivot off the

out with King Hippo. You kind of moved your way
up the ranks, right and eventually you fought some guys
that were much tougher. And I feel like that's kind
of what's happening little Mac. You know, scrappy Indianapolis Colts.
I know they're coming off of buy and that's great,
but now they're going to face the Kansas City Chiefs,
who have been there, done that. Now the Chiefs are
(11:59):
in a position and again where this is must win territory.
They are at home. This is big stuff here for
the Kansas City Chiefs and the opponents. Right now this
season for the Indianapolis Colts have a winning percentage under
five hundred. So if you look back at what they've
done here, sure you want against Miami. You should have
lost against Denver, but you eat out of victory misted Field,
go okay, whatever things happen. They beat the Titans, they
(12:20):
lost to the Rams though when they got tested, and
then wins against the Raiders, the Cardinals, the Chargers, the Titans,
even the Steelers. When they played the Steelers, what they do.
They lost, and the Steelers aren't a great football team.
Now they beat Atlanta, I think we all know what
kind of team Atlanta is. Now they get Kansas City,
and I think Kansas City is the first real opponent
they're gonna have to face, and I think they're gonna
(12:41):
punch in the mouth, and unfortunately, I don't think they're
gonna be able to hit that a button fast enough
to try to get up in order to get back
and stand up again. I think it's a TKO here
for the Indianapolis Colts. So give me the Kansas City
Chiefs minus three and a half, and I'm gonna stop
now because I can't take the Mike Tyson punch out
metaphor any further than I already have. That's it, It's
all I can do. Andrew Erickson, what is your next
(13:02):
pick here for.

Week twelve, same game?
Speaker 3 (13:05):
I am not picking sides here though, because the Chiefs
Lady Luck has found somebody else right like, she is
no longer hanging out in Kansas City. So I'm gonna
avoid the three and a half points spread too close
for me. I'm gonna take the under in this game
under fifty and a half points. Yes, the Colts offense
has been really, really explosive this season, but to your point,
they've faced a easier schedule of opponents, so I think
(13:27):
that might hurt their offense a little bit, especially going
up against a really strong Kansas City Chiefs defense. If
you look at the way the Chiefs have played their games,
the last five games that they've played all done under
the projected total. Casey has the highest under hit rate
in totals at home seventy one percent since twenty twenty three,
and just this year the Chiefs are seventy to three
towards the under. So I think that they will play
(13:50):
defensively pretty well here at home at Arrowhead against Daniel Jones.
Playing on the road. We've seen the last two weeks
Daniel Jones has kind of turned back a little bit
more into his giant self. Five turnovers, two interceptions, three
fumbles over the Colts lasts two games. So I think
this is more a defense about a little bit more
of low scoring. I know that the Colts are going
to come in here try to establish a run with
(14:11):
Jonathan Taylor, like that's how they win this game. And
I think that if Colts want to come away with
the victory, it is a low scoring game that they
squeak out a field goal type of win. So I
like the under here at fifteen and a half points.
I think that's just way too high for a Chiefs
home game. When we find that Chiefs home games tend
to not be really high scoring. You look at since
the start of last year, the only games that have
gone over fifty points have been Ravens, Chiefs, Bills, Chiefs
(14:34):
Bengals chiefs so and Bucks chiefs in overtime. So again,
I just don't think that Daniel Jones is the same
as those types of quarterbacks heading into airhead Nless, of
course we get like an overtime type of game environment.

All right, fair enough there, fair enough, so we both

they are taking part in, but these out of conference
games get a little weird sometimes, and going on the
road out of conference, I think Arizona can actually handle

their business. You know, Jacoby were said completed forty seven
passes last week. I know San Francisco has its problems
on the secondary. I think we all agree a lot
of injuries of ravage that defense. But at the same time,
I think Arizona's trying to make a statement here, and
I think against the Jacksonville Jaguars, I think they can
at least keep this game close. Maybe it's a one
point game or something to that effect. Tech I think
(16:05):
Arizona's even a play to win out right, So I'll
think the Arizona Cardinals at home plus two and a
half against the Jacksonville Jaguars out of conference game. Again,
those are a little trickier to gauge, especially when that
team is traveling. So I'm gonna go ahead and take
my shot at the Jagson Who knows, maybe I'll officially
crack the code of the Jaguars for once.

I know we've had our ups and downs with Baker Mayfield.
I am passing on him this week, but Andrew Rickson,
you are dipping your toes in the water once again.

Look, no trend is going to hit at one hundred
percent rate. You know, sometimes Baker Mayfield's gonna go on
the road and he's not gonna cover. But it happens.

But I was still encouraged by what I saw last week.

So spoiler, I'm taking the Bucks again plus seven on
the road against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday Night football.
So after we have a four and O Sunday, you'll
be able to top it off with a five and
OL start after the Sunday night football game. Because I
just I'm gonna go right back to it. I'm not
going to be dissuaded by one week where I wasn't
like on in pressed by the Buccaneers. They had chances

to win that game in Buffalo. That game was back
and forth, and look, give credit to Josh Allen. He
scored six touchdowns, all right, the guy superman. And that's
what it took for the Buccaneers not to cover in
Buffalo despite I think a pretty strong game from Baker Mayfield.
He was running more, which is something that we had
not seen the last couple of games, so I think
he is a little bit more healthy. You have him
coming off a loss, playing on the road as an

underdog in a revenge game. Spot for Baker Mayfield, who
formerly played for the Rams. He had a cup of
coffee with Sean McVay one a Thursday night football game.

So I think that he's going to be fired up
for this particular matchup, going up against the MVP front
runner with Matthew Stafford. Are gonna be the best team
in the NFL. This is just like prime. Oh, Baker

win the game, Probably not, But I think that it's
going to be much tighter than seven points, especially when
you look at the Rams. They're one of the most

overrated teams when they're playing at home of terms of
against the spread, So I like going after Baker Mayfield here.
Quentin Lay, the starting safety for the Rams, is out
of this game. He plays nearly every single snap defensively,
so I think that's an overlooked injury on the defensive
side of the football for the Los Angeles Rams. I
like Bucks here, Rams as home favorites three and five

against the spread since twenty twenty four. That's not that
impressive a record, especially when you compare it to Faker
Mayfield on the road as an underdog after a loss,
going right back to the Bucks.

ugly game last week against the Detroit Lions. This one
was at home, but they scored just sixteen points. That's
twenty six points in the last two weeks.

I know the Dallas Cowboys defense has had struggled this year,
but twenty six points in the last two weeks, that's
not gonna get it done at home against the Dallas Cowboys,
the team that scores well over thirty at home this year.
So if you're gonna keep pace here with the Dallas
Cowboys in what this amalgamation of what they are now,
don't tell me about week one. I don't want to
hear about Week one. Every team is just kind of

figuring itself out still in week one. We're in week
twelve now. The Cowboys, I feel like, are starting to
feel themselves a little bit, starting to have a little
inspired football potentially. I know they've got problems. They are
far from perfect, but this is an Indivision game. This
is an important game for the Dallas Cowboys. If the
Cowboys are gonna go on a run, it's gonna be
off of a win like this being the Philadelphia Eagles.

And I gotta tell you, Andrew Rickson, I think they're
gonna do just that this week. Plus one forty five
on the money line, give me the Dallas Cowboys for
the big upset. What do you think of my upsets

I think this is a really good one. I consider
Dallas as part of my card this week with the
points at home. Like, I know, they're coming off a

Anyway, they had that weather delay and it looked like
the offense is we're gonna score both thirty points and
then we saw no points scored after the light stormed away.
So I think that Eagles are gonna have their work
cut out for them.
