this is BP NFL. It's time to talk parlays and
have some fun for week five. So let's try to
put some big plays together and see if we get
hit on this week in the NFL. Let's start with you,
Terrell Furman Junior. What do you have lined up? And

is there a theme for this week's parlay?

Speaker 2 (00:28):
Very I decided to switch the mojo up because I
was very close to hitting last week and I was
an under away shout up and Tomlin shout to Carson
Wentz interception. So we just got player props. That's it.
And I tried to correlate them, not correlated. So let's
just start here. Justin fields over forty eight and a

(00:48):
half rushing yards the Dallas Cowboys struggle with the running quarterback.
This has been the things with the Cowboys defense four years.
Jalen Hurts earlier this year year burned them for sixty two.
Russ and Jordan Love, who are too not as mobile quarterbacks,
still got close to thirty yards on this team. This
is what Justin Fields does. He gets on the ground

(01:08):
and he's able to get moving and they're not gonna
be able to bring him down. He'll have plenty of
rushing attempts here. So I like Justin Fields go over
his forty eight and a half rushing yards behind the
third best rushing offense in the NFL. Second leg, I
will take CJ. Stroud to go over twenty two and
a two hundred and twenty two and a half I'm sorry,
two hundred and twenty two and a half passing yards

(01:29):
against the lowly, lowly, lowly Ravens defense that can't stop anything,
and they're beat up on both sides of the ball.
They're missing their number one pick Nate Wiggins on the outside.
That's not gonna be better. So it's gonna be Alexander Humphrey,
who I've really really been struggling this year as the
defense has overall. CJ. Stroud last game was able to

(01:50):
get going. He was passing and completing over seventy nine
percent of his passes in that game. So I think
this will be an opportunity where going up against yet
another bad defense, what is a revenge spot for him
in this offense looking to put some points on the
board like they couldn't do last year. I think we'll
see CJ. Stroud be able to throw the ball like
Tonico Collins and some of those other weapons on the outside.
So I like Stroud go over two hundred and twenty

(02:11):
two and a half passing yards and then we finished
this out with some tragic magic. Because David Montgomery, he
has been talking about it, and I'm sure a lot
of people have seen. If you haven't seen it, well
I'm gonna tell you now. He was on k Adams
and he said, this is my first time playing back
home in Cincinnati, very first time. I've been waiting for it.

(02:34):
I'm really excited. He has a sister who was in
a really, really bad car accident and paralyzed from the
neck down, and so this is the first time that
she will be able to see him play since that accident.
In this game, he's gonna have a whole bunch of
family there. It's gonna be a really big game. And
this is Dan Campbell. You tell Dan Campbell a story

(02:54):
like this, He's gonna make sure he gets you the ball.
And David Montgomery going up against the twenty six rush
DVOA defense. Absolutely, there's gonna be drives where it's not
even gonna be Gibs on the field, and it's gonna
be Montgomery from start to finish, and they're just gonna
keep giving it to give it soon, give it to them.
So I like Dave Montgomery go over fifty and a
half rushing yards. You add all three of those things together,

(03:17):
justin Feels over forty nine and forty eight and a
half rushing yards. CJ. Stroud over two hundred twenty two
and a half passing yards, and David Montgomery over fifty
and a half rushing yards. That will pay out a
nice pretty five eighty one.

Now, all right, five eighty one. That's a big number there.
All right, Andrew Ericson, let's talk about your picks. And
you are looks like you're sg P in it this week. Baby,
let's go.

Speaker 3 (03:42):
Yes, we have been in the kitchen cooking up some sgps.
It's it's fall here in New England, it's October. My
wife is very excited about baking these fall like pastries
and things like that, and I'm just baking out these
sgps like that's what all I'm all about, baby, So
for me going with the Buccaneers and the cook himself,
Baker Mayfield on the road against Seattle Seahawks. So the

(04:04):
first leg here is going to be the Buccaneers to
spread at plus three and a half. This is one
of my best bets on the Week five show, but
just kind of just like as the preview for that,
I just want to bet on Baker Mayfield when he
is an underdog, like this is just one of his
prime spots. The Buccaneers are fifteen to five against the
spread on the road since twenty twenty three, they're eight

(04:24):
and seven straight up his road underdogs, twelve and three
against the spread eighty percent, and even after a loss,
that's where they're even better, so eleven and four against
the spread after the lost nine of their last ten.
So this is just a spot where you want to
be back in Baker Mayfield against the number. They may
not win, but I think they can cover the three
and a half. So if it lose byfield, well we
are still good there. Now when it comes to Baker
Mayfield on field, like what he's gonna do numbers wise,

(04:47):
I think he's gonna make plays with his legs like
we see this a lot from quarterbacks when they're down weapons,
they call upon their legs, they run more. Baker Mayfield
on the road. His last ten road games, he has
hit the over sixteen a half rushing yards in nine
of those ten road games. He's been more mobile this
year than he has been in years past anyway, So
I think he's gonna be scrambling picking up first downs

(05:08):
and just being Baker Mayfield with the Moxie signaling for
first downs left and right. You know people are gonna
know when Baker Mayfield runs for a first down in
this particular matchup. So I like betting on the over
with his rushing and then when it comes to touchdowns.
Seattle Seahawks, every touchdown they have allowed on defense this
year has been through the air. So I'm gonna take

(05:28):
the over on Baker Mayfield one and a half passing touchdowns.
He's gone over this in four of his last five
and seven of his last ten road games played. Yes,
I know there's no Mike Evans, but he still has
like Buka he Saales, Chris Godwin and even Bucky Irving
is out set. White is a very comparable receiving back
out of the backfield. So he can also chip in
a receiving touchdown. So that's my three legger about six

slam the money down and let's go. Then you have
the butcher and the butcher here I think is going
to be the Detroit Lions offense, just kind of butchering
up whatever remains of the Cincinnati defense. I don't know,

I haven't seen much of it this year. So the
butcher's gonna be Jared goffin company. So we're gonna take
the money line on the Detroit Lions. And then the
candlestick maker, Josh Allen does one thing. He lights up
the Patriots. That's what he does. So give me the
New England Patriots to lose again to the Buffalo Bills.
As much as it pains me, I'm keeping it real
minus four thirty. That look, those are two very sure things.
So I just need these two sure things Detroit and

(07:43):
Buffalo to win. And if they do and you get
the upset with Baker Mayfield, you get almost three to
one plus two seventy. So I'd rather bet two units
on something I think I can control than a little
tiny half unit on something that's going to take seven
legs to hit. So the butcher, the Baker, the candlestick maker.
Hopefully everybody gets in the boat and the boat is
filled with money by the time we come back here
