Speaker 1 (00:01):
All right, and welcome into the Betting Pros College Football Show.
It's our Week seven preview episode where we'll give you
our official picks and predictions for the top ten games
on the slate. I'm your host, Seth Wilcock, and I'm
joined by both your and my friends, including a man
who always remains on brand. Yes it's Troll Furman J Trell.
How are you this week? As Week seven main slate
(00:23):
is now just on the rise of.
Speaker 2 (00:26):
Donna?
Speaker 3 (00:28):
Donna what I said, Florida money line?
Speaker 2 (00:35):
How am I catching this first thing? When I lost
to UCLA. Come on, that's supposed to help me out.
Speaker 3 (00:43):
Yeah, but Seth duck and didn't even put Penn State
on the cards, so like, I can't even really get
on him about that, Like it's not my fault. Seth
was duck as smoke. Maybe you should duck smoke and
not throw the red River shoot out on the card
and then maybe you.
Speaker 2 (00:55):
Know, I mean, come on, though, how can we not
have the red River Shootout on the card?
Speaker 3 (00:58):
I understand, I understand. So what we're saying is Penn
State is not necessary.
Speaker 2 (01:02):
At all, like when they play Northwestern or you CLA.
Speaker 3 (01:07):
Apparently man might.
Speaker 1 (01:09):
Have a little bet on Penn State coming in the
parlay pick, So just just hold your horses right there, Trail.
Speaker 3 (01:14):
I really don't know if he's not gonna be from us.
I don't know if that's a great idea here, sir.
Speaker 1 (01:22):
Hey, it's all or nothing, right, It's all or nothing, baby,
that's what we're doing here. We're also back with the
one and only Scotty doesn't know Scott Bogman. Bogman, how
are you? As the upcoming weekend starts to kind of
take focus here a little.
Speaker 2 (01:35):
Bit, Apparently the tortilla presser from Chapoultle was correct in
their story, and it seems like John Matteer might end
up playing in this game. I still kind of think
it's hand surgery and this is all smoking mirrors, but
Pete Damil's reporting it that he is pushing to play
in the game. So not feeling great, but it would
(01:57):
make the most sense for Texas to kind of be
out of it and then go and win this game too.
So yeah, I mean, that's gonna be a weird one,
but I'm ready for it. It's rivalry week for me.
We got Oklahoma on Saturday, the Browns on Sunday for
my Steelers. So gonna be a fun weekend, that's for sure.
Speaker 1 (02:15):

Speaker 1 (04:33):
Let's get to the Saturday noonslate where we've seen no
line movement in Colombia. With the number eight Alabama Crimson
Tide currently laying two and a half to three and
a half points against the fourteenth rank Missouri Tigers, Bama
comes in with starting linebacker Khua Rusaw questionable after missing
last week's contest. Miszoo's left tackle Caden green He is
(04:54):
also questionable for this game. BP projections have this line
right around a point, so some slight fast you on
the Tigers. Is that where you're heading here, Bobman.
Speaker 2 (05:02):
Yeah, I'm I'm wishy washy on this one. I'll say this,
this is going to be a lean and not a
bad I'm still gonna lean on the Tigers. But obviously
Tys Simpson has been really good, super accurate. Jan Miller
came back last week and he looked great, right, But
I think Missouri's run game is the difference. So Matt
Hardy has been outstanding. He does get his first major
test here against this Alabama defense, but I tell you,
(05:25):
if Missouri wins and he has a good game, he's
going to be on like the Heisman map here. He
has had a great year so far, and I think
Missoo can stay in this game. The run game gash
Bama against FSU, and this run game is better. The
total disgust me. It should be a run heavy game
for Missouri in short completions for them as well, but
(05:47):
Bama should run the ball a little bit more because
he had Rushers for Missouri have been really good here.
But I think this is Missouri first their first proper test, right,
Kansas more middle of the pack team, not a true
test for them, even though it was rivalry game in
my opinion, So I'm gonna leave Missouri in the under.
But like I said, this is not my favorite game.
Speaker 1 (06:06):
Yeah, and Hardy right now out there to win the
Doak Walker Award alone plus one eighty, so still some
value there potentially as well, just as Haynes plus two
to thirty then Kawan Lacy down at seven to one.
So Threll, any interest maybe in a future play on
Hardy here, or you're just gonna take that investment and
put it on Mazoo or Alabama in this game.
Speaker 3 (06:26):
No, no, no interest in the future play. But I
am very confident in fading Alabama after they should not
have covered that game last week. I mean it just
fourth and two, fourth and soon fourth and two, anything
but a touchdown and we cover. That's it. Like, and
you know, they got some very very timely turnovers in
the red zone that really helped them out. But it's
(06:48):
really to run defense for me, and Box said it's
a test. I don't think it's a test at all. Honestly,
Alabama has the eighty eighth rushing per game defense, and
I think that that's an angle that they can attack
this team. They run on fifty four percent of their plays.
They're always running the football. So if they can get
that run game going and be able to keep moving
at that football down the field and just churning along,
(07:08):
churning along, turning on, killing the clock, time and possession,
all of that, keep the ball out of that Alabao's
offense hands, and then let the defense be able to
make spots start plays around here. I think they're going
to be right there in this game all the way
to the end. I don't think this is Alabama running away.
So I'll take the points, give me the points. With Miszoo,
I think they'll make it a tight game. If them
all wins, they winn close one.
Speaker 1 (07:27):
The spread has shrunk some in Champagne, but the top
ranked Ohio State Buckeyes are still favored by fourteen and
a half points against the seventeenth ranked Illinois fighting ALIGNI
on the INFRA report, Ohio State has edge Kenyatta Jackson
as questionable. Illinois they just have Xavier Scott, who is
their top cornerback. He remains questionable after missing last week
(07:48):
as well. And then the BP projections we have set
this line at eleven, so leaning towards the ALIGNI here,
are you as well, Trell?
Speaker 3 (07:56):
Yeah? I am. I like the ALIGNI in this spot.
I think it'd be a spot where you sit here.
And I'm not really one hundred percent positive that I
think Ohio State is this dominating world power that they've
been in prior seasons. I think this is a tough
road spot for them, going up against Brett Biema and
that offensive line. I think the offensive line is going
(08:17):
to dictate what happens in this game, because if the
offensive line is able to get some push along that
front seven of the Ohio State Buckeyes, then the line
aren't gonna be able to push the ball. I think
they are, and I think they'll be able to actually
put up their own fair share of points here. I
thought the line was a little short, to be honest
at first, and I'm like, oh wow, but are they
(08:37):
kind of telling me something that they don't think that
this is going to be a blowout? Is it confirming
what I already feel like? I know that Ohio State
got the national championship last year, and now while they
are still a lot better than other teams, they're not
the hottest thing smoking in college football right now, and
I think that we're gonna see them look a little
bit more down to ordinary going up against this Illinois team.
(09:00):
So yeah, maybe they win, but maybe they don't. I
think it's gonna be a close game regardless, So of
course I'm taking points. Give me the line on plus
fourteen and a half, sprink a lot of money.
Speaker 4 (09:09):
Line.
Speaker 1 (09:09):
Wow. While the Buckeyes haven't been like extremely hot as
an entire team, Bogs Maddy p certainly has the boys
buzzing on the defensive side.
Speaker 2 (09:18):
Yeah, I'm I'm vading you on this one, Trell. We're
gonna roll with Illinois team total under sixteen and a
half in this game. To me, I've seen it as
a plus one oh five bet as well. Ohio State, yes,
plays at the second slowest pace in the FBS, and
Illinois is slow to ninety six, So the game under
I kind of like as well. But I get the
Illinois at home here. But Texas is the only team
(09:41):
to have more than two hundred and thirty four yards
against the Buckeyes so far this year. The Buckeyes went
to Washington, people had them picked for an upset and
they couldn't do anything six points. I know Altmeyer's experience,
but he has been routinely held under two hundred yards
passing when facing upper echelon defenses between this season and
last season. He's under two hundred yards against Penn State, Michigan, Oregon,
(10:01):
South Carolina, and Indiana. Is his three hundred yard games
so far this in his the last two years have
been against Purdue twice and then USC. Illinois played a
close game against Penn State last season, but that was
because the defense played well. I was a twenty one
to six game or twenty one to seven, I can't
remember what it was. But the only game of those
that I mentioned Illinois scored seventeen points in was the
(10:23):
bowl game against South Carolina with all that extra time
to prep. So for me, I'm gonna go Illinois team
total under sixteen and a half, and that's gonna be
on like every card I have.
Speaker 1 (10:34):
So yeah, I agree, Bogs. It's one of my favorite
bets I did just you know, you know how I
roll with teasing that that down a little bit. I
went under seventeen and a half minus one thirty eight
as well, just because there was that plus money offering
that I don't mind hitting it there too, But last
week I did the same thing, right, I also took
the yult against Minnesota, and I didn't really need to.
(10:54):
So good times continue here fading the opponent of the
Ohio State Buckeyes and Torero. Do you think if Illinois
does win, do you think there's any chance they can
get over that seventeen and a half sixteen and a
half total?
Speaker 3 (11:07):
Yeah, yeah, I think that they'll be able to move
the ball here. I think they'll there'll be spots where
you sit there, and it's really going to depend on
the play of that offensive line if they can get
the protection up front. But if they can get the
protection up front, then yeah, I think they're gonna be
able to move the ball, put up some points, and
just keep this respectable. I don't think that Ohio State's
gonna go out here and have some type of world
beating get day. I think, honestly, your team total could
(11:28):
come through because I could see this as somewhere as
like a twenty eight to seventeen type of games, twenty
eight to fourteen type of game. Like, I don't think
that it's going to be a shootout between these two teams,
so same total could come through, could get the line.
I depends on how that defense shakes up, but I
think they're gonna be locked in ready to go with
the Ohio State Buckeys come to Champagne.

a three point thirty slate gets underway at the Cotton Bowl,
where the spread has shrunk to the number six Oklahoma Sooners,
(12:33):
who are now catching one to one and a half
points against the unranked Texas Longhorns. That might be because,
according to the authority, Pete thamil Ou quarterback job mateer
is pushing to play for Texas. Their starting cornerback Malik
Muhammad and running back CJ. Bax are both questionable after
missing last week's contest. BP projections have this at a
(12:54):
half point line, so showing a little bit of a
lean towards Oklahoma. Still something they're saying me, we don't
invested in Bogman if Jametier is up. Is this a
money line a tier spot?
Speaker 2 (13:06):
I mean, I don't know how you can take Texas
no matter what. Honestly, in this game, with the way
that the Longhorns have looked one in four against the spread,
ou is three and two against the spread. They may
have their quarterback back, I don't know how you can
take Texas here. I'll say the history of this game,
in the history of Texas is you know, lose, lose,
lose in nothing matters as long as you beat Oklahoma.
(13:28):
So you're gonna get Texas best effort here for sure.
I think both teams, everybody wants to play, But honestly,
I think just stick with the under. Like we talked
about on Monday, right the total in this game right
now is forty three and a half BP. We have
it closer to like thirty eight to forty, somewhere in
that range. So Texas has no identity on offense right now.
(13:49):
They just got smashed by Florida, and OUs defense is
better than Florida's, and Florida is really good defense. We'll
get to them in a little bit, but I just
don't know how Texas is going to move the ball.
And if there is no Matier, which you know, this
could all be smoking mirrors. If there's no Matier, Hawkins
look like garbage against Texas defense last year, not the
(14:10):
same defense but still really good. So I don't know, man,
I'm just gonna stick with the under here. I don't
really like the side. This is a weird close game,
and we just have no real true update outside of
Matiers pushing to play. If a Tier plays, I'm fine
with a bet on Oklahoma. But until we hear that,
I'm just gonna probably stick to the total here.
Speaker 1 (14:33):
Troe, what about yourself?
Speaker 3 (14:35):
What is this is this? Week seven? Seven?
Speaker 2 (14:37):
Yeah? Week six?
Speaker 3 (14:39):
Week seven, when Bogs is clear. Week seven, Texas has
made Bogs quit on them. I've watched the dude, dude
week seven. I thought I had a little bit longer
with Bogs before he quit.
Speaker 2 (14:51):
Beat Oklahoma and we'll talk no but.
Speaker 3 (14:52):
See and then there's the there's the thing. There's the thing.
And so that's why that's why I feel like I
kind of want to be on SA here because Bob
I know this. When Box quits on them, that's when
they wake up and they so you know what, it's
not as fun. It's not fun when Bogs isn't wholeheartedly.
Speaker 2 (15:13):
Believe trying to be realistic. Man, you know this is
people to suggestions.
Speaker 3 (15:19):
But Archer is back at home. That was a very
hard road spot. Like the worst games, the worst games
that they lost, they had a very hard road spot.
Now he's back at home getting to play.
Speaker 1 (15:31):
I mean it's still still Texas.
Speaker 3 (15:33):
I think home. This is Cotton Bowl is home for Texas,
is it?
Speaker 2 (15:37):
Though?
Speaker 1 (15:37):
It's pretty split, let's split right down the middle.
Speaker 3 (15:40):
Though every time I don't think you don't think that
it's not They're not gonna feel Soper.
Speaker 2 (15:44):
I mean they're technically the homes.
Speaker 3 (15:46):
Yeah, like this is not a neutral psychic. We're not
gonna it's a neutral syche game. It's a neutral cychic.
There's gonna be their fair share of OEU. But Texas
is gonna show out because they're upset. Wow, you gotta
be defending Texas. It's crazy because I was fully here,
I was ready to go. I was I was no Box.
(16:07):
It is Box. Okay, why are you asking me? Box
is the one that is over there and not believe
it in Texas.
Speaker 2 (16:11):
I just look, my favorite bet last week was the
whole Florida and they couldn't do anything against Florida's off garbage.
Speaker 3 (16:18):
Yeah yeah, but I told you chump tomp like they were.
Speaker 2 (16:22):
They were, but that was Look, Oklahoma doesn't have a
surprise up their sleeve like Dallas Wilson from Florida. Right,
they don't have two weeks to prepare for this game
like Florida did either. So you know, I just think
this is going to be an ugly, low scoring, defensive game.
And that's why I would say take the under and
don't even worry about the side. That's you know, Texas
could easily win this game. Oklahoma could easily win this game,
(16:45):
So just take the under. It's going to be gross
and low scoring.
Speaker 3 (16:48):
To me, I'm changing my pick. I'm taking Texas. Let's
go all right, Boxes quit on them when Box quits
on them, that's when Texas shows up. Like I think
I've realized when Box quits on them all, I partedly
right now, like this is not he's wholeartedly quitting with him.
Speaker 2 (17:05):
Listen, it's not me quitting. I have to get you
on Texas. Seth was on Texas last week and look
what happened.
Speaker 3 (17:10):
Yeah, I'll tell you. First of all, it's all smoking
sears not playing. Like of course he's gonna want to
say I want to play what what? What football players?
Is not going to say I want to play in
the biggest rivalry game of our school. Of course wants
to play, of.
Speaker 2 (17:26):
Course, but if he plays, do you think he's one
hundred percent?
Speaker 3 (17:29):
I mean, so if he plays, does that no better
rushing props?
Speaker 1 (17:34):
If he plays Betts rushing props because the guy's gonna
tuk it and run.
Speaker 3 (17:37):
So he tucks it in running. He might drop football
because it's just a little bit of like like you know,
I was so oh my gosh, I had a whole
list of three reasons why I like, oh, you and
Box just ruined it. This isn't fun anymore. Give me
Texas all right?
Speaker 1 (17:52):
Uh, we have eight and a half point tickets that
have evaporated seemingly in Eugene. Now, the best you can
get the seventh ranked Indiana, who is as a seven
and a half point road dog against the third ranked
Oregon Ducks. I You should be at full strength coming
off the buye, including starting cornerback D'ango Ponds, who was
out against Iowa. He should be back for this one.
(18:14):
Big news for Oregon this week two lane transfer running
back Makai Hughes. He has red shirted, but wasn't really
used a ton in this offense anyways. But we also
have tight end and John Mackie a favorite. Kenyon Sadik
He is questionable after limping off against Penn State. We're
thinking that bye week probably got him right, but no
confirmation on that as of yet. BP projections are right
(18:35):
in line with the Audis makers for this one, So
going in blind a bit here, boys, Trell do you
haven't played for this one?
Speaker 3 (18:41):
Yeah? We've seen this game before. Come on, man, We've
talked about this game twice last year. Twice we talked
about it when Indiana played Ohio State on road, and
then we talked about it again when they played Notre Dame.
And I allowed you to convince me that the Italian
American can get the is done. But as of right now,
(19:02):
and I'm sorry if this hits a little close to home.
But if I take my metaphorical glasses off and I
clean them up a little bit, I wish I wrote
wore my real glasses for today. That would have made
this better. I cleaned them up a little bit, and
I look at them. Do I see James Franklin? Is
that James Franklin not winning the big game? That is
(19:23):
that him? Is that? Hell? Signetti? You better Signatty?
Speaker 2 (19:27):
This guy is just a menace.
Speaker 3 (19:29):
Better you better, He's better you better chill? You better chill, Signatti?
You got you better do something this game. Better do
something this game. I'm taking. I'm taking the ducks. I'm
not falling for this trap again. I let you get
me on the Signetti hight train the whole time. And
now I know what he is. We take him against
the lesser competition, and when you put a top five
number next to that name, oh you gotta fade them.
(19:51):
All systems go. I think that the OU offense is
going to be able to be rolling in this game,
and they'll really really challenge that Indiana defense. That's gonna
be the biggest challenge they had. Indiana better hope that
you know, all aspects of the game are right, special teams, defense, offense,
because that's the same thing that kind of put them
in a hole against Ohio State really hurt them against
nor Dame as well. So they got to be clicking
on all cylinders. Here, ye, going on the road. They're
(20:14):
going all the way to the West coast. I love
fading these big, big chopple spots. So I'm going to
back the Oregon Ducks slang in seven and a half,
I think they get it done. I think this is
easy for him.
Speaker 1 (20:24):
Well funny enough to Rell. My My leading candidate for
the Penn State coaching job that I'm hoping is vacant
by the end of the season is sick Signetti. So
hoping he can.
Speaker 3 (20:34):
Come and I mean hopefully, Spider Man, are you like,
are you going for what?
Speaker 5 (20:40):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (20:40):
Lord, Bog do you have a play for this game?
Are you as well? On the Ducks?
Speaker 2 (20:45):
Yeah? I'm on the Ducks. The deeper we get in
the week, the more confident I am in them as well.
Indiana had issues against the Iowa defense, right, and I
think Oregon has been very strong, specifically along the defensive line.
They're don't great as well as I thought they they did,
you know, pass rush and stuff like that according to PFF.
But still very good defensive line here. I don't want
(21:05):
to mess with the total, but I feel like it's
doubtful that this turns into a shootout. And I mean,
let's not forget you know, the National champs went into
Oregon and couldn't win last year. This is a difficult
place to play. It is all the way across the country.
It's going to be rainy and gross as well. Yeah,
I mean I would prefer six and a half, right, like,
(21:26):
just get me under a full touchdown. Not a big
fan of that hook, So I'll wait and see if
it dips a little bit more. But I don't know.
I kind of think Oregon wins this one going away anyway,
since they're at home. So give me the Ducks lay
the points.
Speaker 1 (21:41):
The spread hasn't moved a ton in College Station, but
you can now grab the fifth rank. Texas A and
m Aggie's as seven point favorites against the Florida Gators.
For injuries, Florida defensive tackle Kleb Banks and his backup
Joseph Mbatchtu. They're both questionable heading into this game. They're
both out last week against Texas RB two Jacobe Jackson
(22:02):
also questionable. A and M's Bryce Anderson he is questionable,
but running back Levion Moss should be up for this one,
having some type of stomach issues during last week's game,
so I think that should be settled by that. I
would hope and BP projections, we are showing this as
a nine point game, so some value here on A
and M. If you can grab them at seven flat?
Is that where you're heading, Bogs.
Speaker 2 (22:23):
I'm stuck on this one right like I'm stuck on Florida.
They look so good against Texas, but they had two
weeks to prep their at home Dallas. Wilson isn't going
to sneak up on anyone here, So I just I
do think the Florida defense is real. I'm not sure
about the offense here. The Gators held the Canes to
their season low in points and under three hundred fifty yards.
(22:47):
Even the USF loss, they held them to only eighteen
points before smacking Texas this week. Defensively, they've looked really good.
I also think as I stated on Monday, I think
maybe it's home cooking, or it's the Aggies have figured out,
you know, whatever their issues were on defense when they
played Notre Dame and gave up forty points. Because they've
(23:08):
looked great last two weeks in a row, so I'm
gonna lean. I mean, they held Auburn and Mississippi to
a combined three hundred ninety six yards and nineteen points,
so the last two weeks this Aggie's defense at home.
So I'm leaning towards the under in this one. But
I've been so wrong about Aggie games the last two
weeks in a row. I've lost money on them, so
(23:29):
I'm just gonna lean. I'm not gonna put any more
money towards the Aggie's one way or the other because
I've been wrong the last two weeks in a row.
But I really I do feel like the under is
the strongest lean that I have in this game.
Speaker 1 (23:42):
Tree, You've backed the Aggies quite a few times this season.
Speaker 3 (23:46):
Hit thank you, Yeah, I appreciate it. Appreciate it. Yes,
last time out laying four seed and a half, it
closed the seventeen and a half. All numbers said it
didn't matter all right. Let me tell you about this
first of all, Notre Dame game. It's fine. Nerda ain't
put up fifty six on Perdue, fifty six on Arkansas,
like perfectly fine. Nothing to worry about there. I think
(24:09):
this Texas A andem team is leegit. They got it.
They just have to work through their things over the
course of the season. It's all college football teams too,
but they're getting better and better and better each week. This,
I mean, this is a perfect spot to get Florida
coming to college station. They just beat Texas, not anybody,
(24:32):
not just any top team. They beat Texas. Now Texas
A and M can say, oh yeah, wait till we
play and we bought this back them.
Speaker 1 (24:41):
We're gonna prove we're.
Speaker 3 (24:42):
That much better than Texas. Do they really know it, No,
But it's the mental mind game that's what you need.
This Texas offense is going to absolutely smoke the Florida
defense in this game. I think that they're gonna come
in riding a high off of that game. Coming in
a little bit slow. I think the TEXA and defense
is gonna give Lagway everything he can handle. We might
(25:04):
see turnovers again, this is a road spot. It's a
difficult road spot playing in College station. And we knew
this was the hard part of Florida's schedule, having to
go and play Texas, having to go and play Texas
A and M, having to play LSU in LSU like
having all these games. We knew this was the hard
part of their schedule. And now they're at the end
of it. Oh, they're gonna fall, They're gonna cripple. There's
(25:28):
no shot they're in this game. No shot. Give me
Texas A and M late to seven and a half,
they get it done. It is a down spot for
Florida in this one.
Speaker 1 (25:39):
Also out on the West Coast, we haven't seen a
ton of line movement. Books are coming to consensus right now,
listing the USC Trojans as two and a half point
home favorites against the fifteenth ranked of Michigan Wolverines. Michigan
starting a left guard Giovanni Alhadi and tight end Hogan Hansen.
They are probable after missing last week sees. Left tackle
(26:01):
Elijah Page also questionable, as are a few of their
defenders in the two deep BP projections have this line
right in line with odds makers. Actually, so Boggs, is
there a play from you or is this another staateway spot.
Speaker 2 (26:13):
No, No, I like Michigan here. I think the Wolverines
defense is legit. They gave him twenty seven points in Nebraska,
but really that was a couple busted plays twenty six
yard and fifty two yards such towns. Outside of those
two plays, Nebraska's scored thirteen points and they had two
hundred fifty yards. They still were sacked seven times, they
were two for thirteen on third and against Matier they
did give up four hundred yards, but they did bend
(26:35):
but don't break there only two hundred for four points.
And Bryce Underwood looked miserable in that game. I don't
think that Michigan will crush you as se. I'm not
sure anyone can. But they will slow them down, and
I think they're gonna make it a long day for
jade Mayeva Underwood. We'll still have nerves, but he's already
had a rough road starting against Oklahoma, so hopefully things
(26:56):
could start slowing down for him on the offensive side.
And also, we said that the regular season isn't important
anymore because of the playoff and everything, but this is
a playoff game for Michigan. Michigan will be favored against
everyone they play outside of Ohio State after this game.
So if they if they don't blow any of those
other games, that, even if they lose Ohio State, that's
(27:18):
a ten to two season in the Big Ten that
gets you into the playoff. So USC is a big
game for USC as well because they have Notre Dame
next week, so maybe a little bit of a look
ahead towards a big arrival as well. Give me Michigan.
I think Underwood is good enough to move the ball
against USC. Ryan Brown through for three hundred childs had
three touchdowns and no picks. And even Georgia Southern, they
(27:39):
played three different quarterbacks in that game and they had
three touchdowns and only one interception. They only took three sacks.
I just I'm not really buying into USC's defense at all.
Michigan ran for two hundred and ninety yards in this
game last year. That shouldn't happen again. But I think
they are going to be able to run it. So
give me the Wolverines on the money line here going
out west Firman about this one.
Speaker 3 (28:01):
Yeah, I'm on the other side. Kim in USC and
get it done. Can't keep overlooking this travel. I think
this is a tough travel for Michigan here and trying
to secure everybody for this game. Underwood, I think when
he gets on the road, he becomes a lot less flashy,
a lot more ordinary. They have to get more methodical
(28:21):
plays down the field rather than trying to just rely
on the big shots and the big plays. And I
understand the USC defense has always been what has been,
but I don't think that Michigan has the offensive fortitude
to be able to get into a shootout with the
USC at home and win. That's what USC begs for.
That's what Lincoln Riley. He made the defense horrible so
(28:43):
that he has to score one hundred points on offense
and showcases offense. That's literally what Lincoln Riley does for
this team. He made the defense to show off the
offense more.
Speaker 2 (28:54):
Would you agree that this game? I don't think that
like this is either going to be one way or
the other. Holy this is either going to be USC
stomping or Michigan stomping. I kind of feel like I
feel like it can go either way. I'm just on
the Michigan side, But I just feel like, you know,
if us he can't move the ball, they can't stop anybody.
But if Michigan can't, If us he can move the ball,
(29:15):
Michigan can't keep up. That's why I think it's a
blowout one way or the other.
Speaker 3 (29:19):
Yeah, And I think that USC is gonna be able
to move the ball here. So I like the USC
to get this done. And this is this is the
game they're looking for us to revenge from last year
going on the road, losing to Michigan in a game
that they felt like they were a lot more competitive
and than what you know, the scoreboard.
Speaker 2 (29:36):
Should have won that game.
Speaker 3 (29:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (29:37):
Year, I mean Michigan had no offense and all they
did was run the ball.
Speaker 3 (29:41):
Against USC, and so I think they learned from that.
But I think I think this is when Lincoln Riley
shows Okay, I can I can showcase an offense that
can go toe to toe with the best of the
Big ten and put up a bunch of points. So
give me the USC. I like their teams total over,
I like USC with the game. I think that USC
is going to go out there.
Speaker 1 (30:00):
Have a game here at I was leaning towards the
under fifty seven and a half as we open up
this week, and the BP projections solely pulled me off
that we're projecting this game to go over by at
least three points, So I'm off that now, so you
can go ahead and bet it if you want, like
that's usually how this works. I Terrell, you pulled me
off the Cincinnati team total last week they hit in
(30:21):
the first half, so that's probably another one that I
should have bet, So yeah, feel free about that one,
those folks. Also, if you want a chance to score this,
sign Nick Chubb Brown's helmet for free, Curtisy are friends

up and to claim your prize if you are that
lucky winner. The line has moved to above two touchdowns
in Lubbock, where the ninth ranked Texas Tech Red Raiders
are home favorites against the Kansas Jayhawks. It's been a
really tough scene for Kansas on the injury front lately.
Folks starting tight end Deshaun Hanakah. He is out for
the season. They're starting running back Daniel Henshaw Junior, and
(31:28):
starting safety Mason ellis questionable after missing last week's contest.
Tech should once again be at full strength. BP projections
have some value on the Jayhawks, though, setting this line
at eleven points. So, Trell, are you once again riding
with rock Chalk?
Speaker 3 (31:45):
Yeah, it just kind of feels like a little bit
soo many points, But I understand that this sexist sech
team is really really good their wagon for me, Yeah,
they got the cover last year. I think they're five
and oh ets Actually hey, So it is really tough
and it's gonna be a lot of pressure on the
offensive line for Kansas to be able to try to
(32:07):
hold that defensive front. That's just like, I mean, lights
out when you look at everybody along the line, there's
just so much push that it's just really too much
to handle, and that's really what's set back Utah. But
lace Leopold just finds a way to get his group up,
especially when they're gross ugly underdogs, and just be able
to show people that, hey, we can go out here
and commit. I went and I bet them fourteen a
(32:30):
half point dogs on the road against West Virginia, and
they've went out there and gotten it done on the
money line. Like I've seen, Lance Leopold be able to
just take a team that on paper is not nearly
as talented and be able to compete when he starts
to play the powerhouses on the road. So I think
that we could see them make this game a little
bit closer. Not a good good feel about the money
(32:50):
line sprinkling this one, But I will take Kansas Boggs.
Speaker 2 (32:55):
Yeah, I'm gonna be I'm gonna stay on tech here.
Maybe I was a little overzealous with my love for them,
but I think that, like the edge rushers here, might
be the best tandem outside of Bain and Mesador in
Bailey and height. Jacob Rodriguez is the highest graded linebacker
by a big stretch in football this year.
Speaker 1 (33:11):
He's up to he was banged up last week. He
did end up playing, so he's good for this one
as well.
Speaker 2 (33:16):
Yeah, and he was great in that game too. The
pass defense has been outstanding. They haven't really been tested though.
I think that's the one question that we have for
Tech is have you been tested with a good passing game?
They really haven't, So maybe Kansas hits a couple of
those big plays. I just my thing here with Tech
is I don't think that the Kansas defense slows down
their offense at all. That's my big issue. So I
(33:39):
think that Tech rolls on offense. I think they have
a couple of takeaways on defense as well. So I'm
gonna be on the Raiders here. So yeah, they're just
like you said, they're a wagon right now. They are
smashing teams.
Speaker 1 (33:53):
I'll tell you what. It was a good season to
invest in Texas Tech Red Raiders offensive pieces in CF more.
I have Ekean. I just got Caleb Douglas off the
waiver wire. I also added Dicky off the waiver wire
in week one, So like, yeah, I am loving it
and hopefully some more points here against Kansas would be great.
So the line has shrunk two three and a half
(34:15):
points between the number ten Georgia Bulldogs and Auburn Tigers.
Injuries include Georgia's starting right tackle Ernest Green, the third
questionable after missing the last two games. They also lost
starting right tackle Monroe Freeling last week and he's been
limited in practice this week. Auburn's wide receiver three Horotio
(34:36):
fields he is out with a broken foot. BP projections
are closer to a four point line, but not far
off from where the books currently have it. So Boggs,
do you have a play here? I originally thought I
was just gonna drink the juice on the money line
for Georgia, but with those offensive linemen shaky, I don't
know if I want to do that now.
Speaker 2 (34:54):
I mean this game. I think Auburn matches well with Georgie.
They should want to pass the ball and uga. The
pass rush has been terrible. UJ runs at a fifty
six percent clip, and the Auburn defense has been good
against the run seventeen statistically ninth and run defense grade.
My problem is how terribly inconsistent Jackson Arnold has been
(35:16):
and how very consistent Kirby Smart has been in his
career against Auburn nine and one against Auburn since he
came to Georgia. My lean is Georgia. But this is
inexperienced team going into Auburn, and weird stuff happens at Ohare.
I'm gonna stay away from this one. I don't hate
a Georgia money line bet, but I also I get
(35:41):
wanting Auburn in this game. I do think they match
up well. I do think this is a bad juju
spot for any team. And this is one of the
worst Kirby Smart Georgia's squads that we have seen in
recent recent history. So my gut, everything in my gut
says take Auburn. But nine and one for Kirby Smart
against the Tigers. I just don't trust you for us
(36:02):
at all. Tree.
Speaker 1 (36:04):
Imagine if we actually had a quarterback here that could
uncork it against this Georgia defense thrown to the lights
of Singleton and Coleman and everyone they have going on there.
But I just don't think Jackson Arnold is that, you know,
much of a passer right now to overcome what's been
a pretty good rushing defense from Georgia.
Speaker 3 (36:22):
Yeah, but I mean he played Oklahoma on the road
to a seven point game. He played tex SA and
m to a six point game. Like, and I think
that the Oklahoma defense is probably, you know, if not
very close to being one of the best in the nation.
And so I think that they'll pick and choose and
they'll have their moments. They're at home in this spot.
They haven't played a home game since the thirtaint the
(36:44):
September Yeah, so like, geez, you played too, They're gonna
be road. Yeah, you played two games on the roads,
you have a bye, and then you haven't played since
September thirteint. That's a month ago. Literally almost a month
ago is when they played their last home game. So
I think this is gonna be a good spot where
we look at this Auburn team and we see something
different and we see them look good. You go and
you get this Georgia team on the road who looked
(37:06):
a little bit questionable and shaky at moments in that
game against Tennessee. They got the win in the last moment,
but she didn't get the cover. They got the win,
but she didn't get the cover. That's the big thing.
Getting three and a half here, So give me Auburn Tigers.
I think they're gonna be in this game I think
they're gonna have something to say going up against George.
Both of these defenses playing very similarly, except Auburn is
unranked than Georgia's right tenth in the nation, so I
(37:29):
think there's gonna be a lot closer than people think.
This is the oldest rivalry in the Deep South, and
I think that we're gonna see.
Speaker 1 (37:34):
It boys before I go, I just want to go
to an SEC game once, like being the Northern kid
on the show. I want to experience it like this
is one of those games that kind of like, actually,
I think there will be a lot of Jews from
the crowd. Like Terrell said, they haven't been there in
a while. The kids have been buzzing, Like that's a
long time to go, like pretty much a full four
weeks and not be home for your student section, especially
(37:56):
in an SEC football school like Auburn. I think they'll
be ready. And if you I don't make it there
at Bobs least promise like you'll take my ashes or
something and next to you at Kyle Field or something
to get you there. I appreciate that.
Speaker 3 (38:09):
Should go to a real SEC game, like super real,
like go to Tulane when they were in SEC and.
Speaker 2 (38:17):
Go to Florida versus Arkansas.
Speaker 3 (38:19):
Starkville, Florida is Arkansas LSU versus Georgia something like that.
Oh no, don't go to Starkville.
Speaker 1 (38:27):
If I'm flying south, I ain't going to Arkansas. I'll
tell you that right now. I'll go to Starkville before
I'll go there. I'm sorry about it, but it's just
the same man. We also have the line still moving
in Baton Rouge, speaking of the SEC, where you can
get the number eleven LSU Tigers anywhere from an eight
and a half to a nine point home favor against
(38:48):
the South Carolina game Cocks. The injury report here for
South Carolina includes right tackle Hasten Henry. He is listed
as questionable and ls you. Meanwhile, they have the good
news that Katien Durham, they're running back, will be back.
Their right tackle Weston Davis, also should be back for
this one, both listed as probable. A wide receiver Aaron
(39:09):
Anderson also probable he should be suiting up for this one,
and then left guard Paul Mubanga he is questionable. VP
projections are showing no ev right now, as we're right
in line with the books yet again, so Terrell, Is
this one of your favorite Beamer ball spots.
Speaker 3 (39:28):
Yeah, I am. I think the offense actually looked I
knew at her. Yeah, I think it looks better like
the offense looks better than where they started. They were
playing a lot off of punts, are in touchdowns and
defensive scores, and that's how they were really carrying things.
And then they got humbled by Diego Pavia and this
Vanderbilt seam and realizing they had holes in offense, they
ended up giving Leonora Sellers a week off to you know,
(39:50):
fix some head injuries, and then he came back and
they've looked solid. They look solid against Kentucky, which is
still a really solid defense. So I think they're gonna
go and they're gonna play lsu' to a close game here.
I don't have any worry of about the South Carolina
defense there. They got one of the best defensive players
in the nation. I think that they'll be able to
give LSU all they can handle. And I don't think
LSU is this all world beating team, Like I don't really.
(40:10):
There are eleventh in the nation, and me personally, if
I was ranking twenty five, I probably wouldn't have LSU
up that high.
Speaker 1 (40:18):
In the nation. You guys remember that SoundBite. I can't
remember who, I can't remember. I can't remember now. It
was someone's getting interviewed by a player and they said
that they didn't think he was the best in the conference,
like in the nation. I'll have to look that up.
But Boggs, yeah, Boggs, do you have a play here
for a couple of the better SEC skulls in the nation.
Speaker 2 (40:40):
Yeah? I like uh. I like the over first quarter
because both these teams are coming off of bi weeks.
You got you get to practice these all week Elis,
you get their strongest runner back, they'll be able to
run a little bit of play action off of that.
Drell mentioned how much better the South Carolina offense looked
like after giving nor Sellers a week off, and they
(41:01):
have had a couple weeks to script up some drives here.
So it's nine and a half for the first first quarter.
That's a touchdown and field goal. Guys like, I think
that's fine for the first quarter. I think maybe under
for the game with the way both these offenses have
been playing, in the way both these defenses have been playing.
But over nine and a half in the first quarter.
When you get two weeks to script up a drive,
(41:22):
I'm taking that. So we're gonna go with that first
quarter play. Not one that I typically like, but I
think it fits the bill here.
Speaker 1 (41:29):
Travis Ward is who I was thinking of of Travis Ward.
Just search that best in the nation, maybe the editors,
maybe you can't even bring it up over us or
something'd be pretty cool, but gets a little best in
the nation there. Tell Larry, you're the best player in
the state right now.
Speaker 2 (41:44):
So now you know we good boy, you already know
are the best.
Speaker 3 (41:47):
In the nation.
Speaker 1 (41:51):
All right, guys, we got one more game to round
us out here the line in Salt Lake City it
has why didn't actually where you can now get Arizona
State as six point road dogs against a Utah Asu
has just a few defenders in the too deep questionable Utah. Meanwhile,
I mean, this injury report looks like a dang CVS
receeat right now, boys, h back hunter Andrews, the guy
(42:13):
who's actually streaming over there in the CFF streets for
a couple of weeks. He is out for the season.
Their cornerback Rabbit Evans and wide receiver Dardarian Zipper out
for the year. Defensive edge Paul Fitzgerald, he is out
of this one, and then questionable the two top left
defensive tackles for Utah. They're starting safety and two way
(42:33):
player Jackson Ben who has been electric at times for Utah.
BP projections like the Utes by six. But Bogman, is
that the casey thing for you with how banged up
they are right now?
Speaker 2 (42:46):
No, Actually, I'm flipping on this game. I'm taking the
devils and I think the closer we get, the more
I want them. We already saw Utah get smoked by
the Red Raiders at home once. Now, look, Texas Tech
is a very good team, but Utah has been incredibly
middling on defense and with ASU. I'm particularly concerned with
the high rate Utah has been missing tackles. That's it's
(43:08):
been exceptionally bad in the secondary for them. Like you said,
a lot of banged up players on this defense as well.
So if they start getting this run game into the
second third level, I think we're in for some big
chunk gains for Arizona State in this one. So tackling
has been bad for Utah. The offense isn't clicking on
(43:28):
all cylinders quite yet, give me the Devils in the points.
I know this is a tough environment. It's a late
game as well, but it's not like it's not a
huge travel game for Arizona State. They just got to
go north, and Arizona is pretty high elevation as well.
Nothing near Utah. But I just remember Chasefield's second highest
(43:48):
elevation in baseball behind the Rockies, of course, but I
just and this is a trip that the Sun Devils
have made before. So yeah, give me the Devils and
take the points. Going on the road against Utah squad.
Speaker 1 (44:01):
See, I knew it.
Speaker 3 (44:02):
The other day.
Speaker 1 (44:02):
We were talking about, you know, big twelve competitors that
can maybe takedown tax attack. You first said Utah and
then you said Arizona State. I knew you're sleeping on
as you welcome back to the club, Terrell. Are you
also in this Pink Pony club that is rolling with
our friends over there in Arizona State at.
Speaker 3 (44:21):
The Pink Pony con Club. I'm gonna keep saying that, Oh,
is it dancing a rock?
Speaker 1 (44:27):
I thought it was, you might write, I think you're right.
Speaker 3 (44:30):
I don't know. I wouldn't know none.
Speaker 1 (44:32):
It's your ring tone. It's all right, hey, shout.
Speaker 3 (44:36):
Out to stub Bus. Just you know, I do w
NBA over there, fast break, bitch, check out my stuff.
But yo, the stub buds love the Pink Pony Club.
I ain't. I never heard the song. It's a lot.
I was watching the stub Bus stream. I didn't even
know it was a song.
Speaker 1 (44:47):
But I don't even know what that. I don't know
even what stream you're referring to.
Speaker 2 (44:51):
But oh well, I feel like such an old man
got to get into the w NBA streets.
Speaker 3 (44:56):
Man. It's like a soap opera. It's great, it's amazing.
And yeah, no, all right, back to this. Yeah, they
might have made the trip to Utah before, but they've
walked out with a number of elves making the trip
to Utah. I mean, fifty five to three is only
a ten point favorite, fifty five to three, one and
a half point favorite, one, thirty five to twenty one,
(45:18):
fifteen to a half point favorite, twenty one three. Like,
come on, guys, we see what this is gonna be.
You don't just walk in the rice echos and think
that you're going to get a win. That does attack.
That doesn't happen. They didn't walk in there thinking it exected.
They thought they were going to go in there and
they were going to get a dog fight, and then
they realized that the Utah offensive line had no fight
(45:39):
in them. But they didn't walk in there thinking that
it was going to be easy. No, nobody walks in
there and thinks it's gonna be easy. Kelly Kenny Dillingham
has them shooting a water hose on the football while
he's throwing the football.
Speaker 2 (45:51):
Thinking no moisture in Arizona. Actually it has been raining
there a bunch this year from what I've been told.
Speaker 3 (45:56):
But to think that he's gonna go First of all,
it's the snap. It's catching. Catching the white football is
the hard part thing. I mean, you got in your
hands already, like you're you're good catching the football. Why
are you not working on the snaps?
Speaker 2 (46:11):
They're practicing snap, they're they're holding the ball down before
all the stuff.
Speaker 3 (46:15):
Oh no, no, no, no, no, I don't I don't think
that they're ready. I think they're focusing on the wrong
things here. They're not focusing on that Utah defense that
is going to get after them. They don't believe in it.
They don't believe they've been running the football, and that's
where you're at home. You're at home. You're gonna get
this big spot. They run the football asu a lot,
(46:35):
and I think that the run game for Utah is
going to be very, very locked into this, and then
they're gonna have to try to figure out a way
to stop Utah's run game because Utah is gonna come
in here. They're going to continue to play their style
of football. One loss does not slow them down at all. No, no, no,
no no. And so with that, I think the Utah
youths have more than enough to get this done. This
is also one of those rule games where you got
(46:56):
the unranked home favorite going up against a ranked road
team here about a good sixty eight percent shrend here
taking the unranked home favorite here. I trust that you
saw I used to get this done. Kenny Dillingham had
their moment last week. This week is all you saw?
Speaker 1 (47:13):
You mean a future Penn State coach, Kenny Dillingham? Is
that who you're referring to?
Speaker 3 (47:17):
Are you just like putting everybody's name and then putting
future Penn State coach?
Speaker 1 (47:21):
I'm just floated out. I'm just floating out. If any
boosters are listening or anyone in higher authorities like I'm
just floating out some ideas.
Speaker 3 (47:29):
That's all.
Speaker 1 (47:29):
We're work shopping, that's all. That's all, guys. Let's get
out of here. On best bets for me, I'm going
with my G five game of the week. Give me
Luisi Ina Tech ats minus five and a half. That's
minus one fifteen against Kennesas State Tech five and oh
ats this season coming off the bye, been good on
(47:49):
the road as well. They just won at Utech They
covered seven twenty three against lsu as thirty six and
a half point dogs as well. And the cool thing
about Tech is I think it is that they're winning
in the turnover margin substantially, number two team in the
entire country in turnover margin eleven interceptions, two fumbles grabbed.
And Kanessas State they're one hundred and fourteenth in the
(48:12):
turnover margin seven turnovers, lost just three game only wins
this season for Kanessas State. While they've been better than
last year Arkansas State, Middle Tennessee and Marymack, I think
when they face a giant here and I'm not calling
you know, louis In attack a giant, but they're better
than most of the teams they've played, and the only
giant they faced was IU. They lost fifty six to nine,
(48:33):
So LA Tech. They won this game last year thirty
three to zero, so I think they get it done
as five and a half point road favorites. So Terrell,
where are you going for the best bet of the week?
Speaker 3 (48:46):
Very close to make it Oregon the best bet.
Speaker 2 (48:49):
They do it.
Speaker 3 (48:50):
I was very close. Give me Texas saying only seven
and a half. Lagway is still on the route here
South Spat going in college station. I think that Sex
Salem is gonna be locked in, ready to go. I
think they're legitly one of the top five best teams
in the country, and honestly, I don't think they're being
priced like it because this probably should be a little
bit more like Lagwig has looked really, really bad on
(49:13):
the road here, so big win Florida has a let
down on the road. Sex Say and m and there's
gonna be more talk about Namier getting fired. So I
like Tea and m LA seven and a half.
Speaker 1 (49:23):
Maybe Mike Elko to Penn State. I don't hate that either.
I don't hate that either. We're building the list, baby,
you should we're building the.
Speaker 3 (49:32):
List, and State's gonna be broke with all the buyout
money that has them committed to.
Speaker 1 (49:38):
Well, it's all right, Jim Noles already, o's the State
ten million dollars for just you know, thievery this past offseason. God,
go ahead, Bogs. What's your best bet here?
Speaker 2 (49:48):
So I'm gonna stick to the Illinois team total on
ninety sixteen and a half here go. I just I
hate Luke Altmeyer's track record against really upper echelan defense,
and I you know, they may not be as good
as they were last year, but they're allowing five points
per game right now Ohio State's defense. So I just
think that Illinois is not gonna be able to move
(50:10):
the ball very well. We saw that against Indiana earlier
this year as well. I think you know, they could
have gotten blueprinted there a little bit. So yep, give
me a team total under sixteen and a half for
the Aliine Ei this week, all.
Speaker 1 (50:22):
