Speaker 1 (00:01):
Welcome in everybody to betting pros. It's time to place
your bets. It is me Joey P joep Zapia and
this is BP NFL. It's time to look ahead to
the early lines for week two. And if you hate
attention to the show, if you're watching the show, what
was the best advice I gave out last week on
every show? Be careful of week one bet which you
can control. And of course make sure you listen to

(00:24):
the same game parlays on the Thursday Night Football Show
and the Sunday Night Football Show because he hit both
of them. SG Joey P. Let's go baby. It was
a good week. It's the best week one I have
ever had in betting ever. And why because basically, I
just invested a ton of Derrick Henry to do what
he does best, and I got rid of anything that

(00:45):
looked even remotely gross anything pretty much. Yeah, I was
wrong about a couple of things. Yeah, I'll take the
L on the Jets, but I think we all took
the L on that Jets game with the Steelers ended
up being very entertaining, So that's fine. It's all good,
But so much good from week one in a very
good mood here, and I'm looking to take what I
saw in Week one, crumple it up, and pretty much

(01:05):
throw it out the window because rarely does it ever matter.
And Andrew, that's the biggest challenge when it comes to
week two, right, It's the week two where it's like, oh,
do we want to buy into everything that happened in
Week one and who these teams are and who these
players are or is it just kind of like, yeah,
that was fun, now what Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:21):
I think I'm really trying to figure out who is
this year's Saints team? Where Saints Week one last year
just came out two guns blaze and destroying teams.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
Yeah, and they did it the next week too.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
So sometimes it can even last for one or two weeks,
But in the long run, are the best teams going
to be having the best Week one performances? And then conversely,
sometimes Week one is actually an indicator of a bad
season happening. And it's Miami Dolphins for me when I
think about who is that team? Like the Carolina Panthers
last year they came out and got absolutely destroyed in

(01:53):
Week one by the Saints getting destroyed by Okay, a
team like.

Speaker 3 (01:57):
Buffalo or Baltimore.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
Okay, but getting destroyed by Daniel Jones by thirty points,
Oh is it?

Speaker 3 (02:03):
That is not good. That is definitely not good.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
So my worst I thought they were Miami entering the year. Again,
we can all agree like the vibes weren't the best.
Sometimes that is an indicator of poor performance. In the
case of the Jets, that wasn't the case. The Jets
came out looked absolutely fantastic. Justice Fields play one of
the best games I've ever seen him play in the NFL.
But then on the Dolphins side, well, they look like
they had not been practicing at all.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
Hot take, bro, I think that team you're talking about
you're trying to identify might be the Steelers, because I
think they've got a decent matchup against Seattle this week
at home coming up. We're gonna talk about that when
in all the games, but I did not like what
I saw on the offensive line of the Steelers. Aaron
Rodgers was getting sacked everywhere, getting rocked. Eventually, that's gonna
be a problem because he's gonna get hurt. And I
don't like not playing Caleb Johnson. I don't like the

(02:50):
way the defense looked against. Just look, man, there's a
lot I'm telling you right now, Like Aaron Rodgers got
his little revenge game, but I think the Steelers could
be that team Andrews talking about. So let's dive into it.
Let's talk about everything going on. Of course, make sure
you download the Betting Pros apps, sync your sports books,
and of course subscribe to the YouTube channel Betting Pros.

(03:12):
And let's start here with Thursday night, the Green Bay
Packers coming off a nice victory where they just flat
out dominated the Lions. Try to tell everybody when you
lose two coordinators, you're gonna have a bad time the
next year. And I think the Lions might be and it.
I do think they bounced back at home. We're talking
about warrant that and the show, but Washington Commanders coming
to town short week for both these teams, both coming
off a w Here are the numbers on the consensus

(03:35):
lines over on Betting Pros plus four for the Commanders,
minus three and a half on the Green Bay Packers,
the numbers hovering somewhere between forty six and a half
to forty eight and a half if you like the under,
and then plus one eighty, which is intriguing for the
Commanders on the road. So let's talk about this short
week early in the year andrew any early value on
this Thursday night game.

Speaker 2 (03:55):
I like the Packers here playing at home and think
that they showed in Week one against the Detroit Lions
that hey, we're here to be a Super Bowl contender,
We're here to dominate other teams. And they really took
their the pedal off the gas in the second half.
I mean, Jordan Love was not really doing that much
because they had established such a lead early on that
Lion's offense did not look anything special like it did

(04:16):
in twenty twenty four. The Packers defense with Michael Parsons,
and I just don't want to overvalue Washington's win over
the Giants team that could not do anything offensively like
they got into the red zone got stalled out. I
think that the Commanders dominated a line of scrimmage against
the Giants on both sides. I don't know if they're
going to be able to do that against the Green
Bay Packers. So I like the pack at home.

Speaker 1 (04:37):
I want to break it to you the hard way.
You're hanging out with Welsh too much because you just
dropped a Welshism and you didn't even realize it. You
don't take your pedal off the gas. You take your
foot off the gas or your foot off the pedal,
and you just created a Welshism. Welsh is notorious for
mixing metaphors and doing weird things.

Speaker 3 (04:53):
No, but you could step on the gas and you
could step.

Speaker 1 (04:55):
On take the pedal off the gas, Like, what the hell?
They're the same thing, yas is the pedal just saying
not in my car. My approach to this one is
to wait and Thursday night, I'm gonna give you another
SG Joey p that you're gonna hit and you're gonna
make six to one or seven to one. Now what
I'm gonna do. I'm never gonna hit too in a
row all season. Let me have this, please, just let

(05:17):
me have this, Internet, But no Green Bay. I'm probably
gonna take just a tramp on the money line with
maybe a Tucker Craft touchdown. I think that's probably how
I want to approach to this game. So early line value
not too much for me. The Bears play tonight, will
see what they do with the Minnesota Vikings. Detroit will
be at home minus four. So this is the Ben
Johnson coming back to town game. I think Detroit's gonna
get up for this one. I like this game, and

(05:38):
I like it early. Here. Forty seven and a half
is the total and you're getting plus one ninety eight
on the Bears. In the money line, I want Detroit
with the points right now, and I want to lock
it in even before tonight's game, because I don't think
this is gonna go well for the Bear tonight. I
could be wrong, but even if it does, the four
is a really good number. I think the Lions get
back home, get back in that building. Jared Goffler looks good.

(06:00):
You're gonna look at Jamir Gibbs having one hundred plus
all purpose yards and two touchdowns, and I'm on raw
bouncing back and everything will be fine for Week two.
I don't think it's gonna be fine for the Lions
in twenty twenty five long term. That's my take on
this one. This is one of my favorite early line games,
bounce back by low with the Lions. Don't love them
long term, but I think against the Bears they can
get the job done. What do you think about this one?

Speaker 2 (06:21):
I agree with that take, getting in on the Lions
right now, twenty twenty five, not necessarily the highest on Detroit.
Think we talked about that in some of the offseason pods,
but in this specific spot, they're back at home playing
a team on a short week, the Chicago Bears. They
know Ben Johnson, So yeah, I do like Detroit backing
them as a bounce back candidate.

Speaker 1 (06:38):
All right, another game in the one o'clock slate. You've
got Cleveland and Baltimore, another Indivision matchup. Baltimore favored by
eleven and a half at home. Hikes, that's a lot. Look,
Baltimore had their way with the Buffalo Bills and then
unfortunately just could not hold that lead. What a disaster
At the end, all of it's fatigue. I don't know
if it's just the Ravens being the Ravens, whatever it

(07:02):
might be. But for everybody who's betting the Bills to
win the Super Bowl, just slow your role. The Bills
find ways to lose important games too. Let's not forget
forty five and a half is the total for this one,
plus four to sixty for the Cleveland Browns upset. So
Cleveland kept it close there with the Cincinnai Bengals. They
somehow always have Joe Burrow's number. But again, eleven and
a half is a big number for me. I think

(07:23):
I'm just staying away from this one. This is more
of a prop game for me personally than necessarily betting
the lines. Eleven and a half feels like a lot
of anything. I'll think the Cleveland brown Side because eleven
and a half just feels like a lot in Week two?

Speaker 2 (07:32):
What do you think I like the Browns here with
the points? I think to your point, it's such a
massive number. And the thing with the Baltimore Ravens is
something that I've taken away from doing a lot of
the betting pros righte ups over the last couple of
years is the Ravens when they play against really really
good teams, like you get their maximum effort, like we
saw against the Buffalo Bills, back and forth, back and forth.
But when they play against like these bad teams, especially

(07:55):
at home, sometimes they come out flat and they don't
necessarily look and dominate like they should good. So I
think this is too many points for a divisional matchup,
And again, the Ravens maybe do come out a little
lackluster after such a terrible loss.

Speaker 3 (08:08):
I mean, they had that game in the bag. There
were fifteen points in the fourth quarter. They lost.

Speaker 1 (08:11):
But remember yeast year too, Do you remember they started
the year zo and to two. Everybody forgets that the
Ravens were zero and two. And who do they lose
to at home? The Raiders in week two? I remember this,
it was twenty six, twenty three they lost to the Raiders.
Same thing. I was like, oh okay, this is gonna
be a cake walk. They were absolutely double digit fame.

Speaker 3 (08:28):
It was after a big loss in week one.

Speaker 1 (08:30):
It was after a big loss in week one, and
history might repeat itself here and Joe Flacco going to
Baltimore just saying, if anybody's gonna say it, I think
the early value is definitely on the Cleveland Browns for
this one. All right, let's take a break here, and
of course, acknowledge a sponsor of today's show, and it's

Next game on our slate, Andrew Ericksson. Here we go
the New York Football Giants. Davell has not committed yet
to Russell Wilson as the starter. Oh my god, can
we get Jamis? Can we get James with Dak Prescott
week two? Pretty please?

Speaker 3 (10:16):
No?

Speaker 1 (10:16):
Pretty please?

Speaker 2 (10:17):
I want to Unless Andrew Thomas is coming back, then
you don't.

Speaker 3 (10:20):
You just keep Russ out there to take on the hits.

Speaker 2 (10:22):
I guess it's not gonna get easier against Dallas, even
though they have Parsons. They were getting after Jaalen Hurts
in week one, and it's gonna be more of the same,
all right.

Speaker 1 (10:30):
This is one of my other few bad bets. I
had a lot of good ones, the Bucky Irving under
all the Derek Henry stuff. You know, I got Denver early,
so you know, that number was still good, But this one,
I think I'm looking at the props. I'm looking at
Dallas specifically. I'm looking at overs on Dak Prescott. I'm
looking at overs on Ceedee Lamb against the Giants. I

(10:50):
really think this is gonna be a good game for
the Dallas Cowboys, believe it or not. I think the
Cowboys could take a lot out of that game against
the Eagles and feel positive about that loss in the road.
I really do, Whereas I don't think the Giants can
take a lot out of what happened last week. So
do I feel four and a half comfortable that's the
number on the Dallas Cowboys. I don't know if I

(11:10):
feel that yet. The consensus line is hovering between four
and a half and plus five and a half on
betting pros, and then the total is around forty four
and a half to forty five and a half with
plus two h eight. Again, this is more of an
individual game for me. Dallas money line is minus two thirteen.
That's too much. So instead, I'll take the Cowboys to
win outright with some props that I like and pair

(11:31):
that together. Any thoughts on this game for you?

Speaker 3 (11:34):
Under that's what I like in this game under four
and a half. I get matchup.

Speaker 2 (11:39):
You have a divisional matchup, And when I rewatched that
Giants game, I thought their defense wasn't.

Speaker 3 (11:43):
The defense wasn't.

Speaker 2 (11:44):
The reason they lost that game is because their offense
couldn't do anything. So I think the Giants defense remains underrated.
I think they can do stuff to throw enough at
Dak Prescott, and just not confident that with this Giants
offensive line with Russell Wilson, that they're going to be
able to keep pace with Dallas anyway. So I don't
think it's going to be a barn burner.

Speaker 3 (12:01):
I don't know if that. I don't know if Dak
and the.

Speaker 2 (12:02):
Cowboy's gonna be pushed enough to have to we have
to throw the ball forty five times, like, I don't
know if they're gonna feel the need to do that
against the Giants, knowing, hey, we play a little bit,
just protect the football, run a little bit. We got
saw out of Javonte. He looked pretty good in their
Thursday night game against the Eagles. So I like the
under here.

Speaker 1 (12:19):
Okay, so under there for Andrew Ricks and the Undertaker
staying on brand. Jacksonville Jaguars at Cincinnati Bengals. Like I
this is one of those again classic Bengals Week one stuff, right,
I mean, they come out with a victory for a change,
but man, the Browns just owned Joe Burrow. I don't
know why to give him so much of a problem,
but I do think this is one where Jacksonville comes

(12:41):
to town in Cincinnati. The numbers three and a half
here forty nine to fifty and a half is the
total plus one sixty for Jacksonville this one. I like
the over at forty nine. I would lock this in
now because I do think this one's gonna grow so early.
Line jump in for me. Yes on Cincinnati and Jacksonville.
How about you?

Speaker 3 (12:57):
I think I'm staying away from this one for right now.

Speaker 2 (13:00):
I can't get a good read on the Jaguars necessarily
because of again a lot of like weather.

Speaker 3 (13:04):
Delays this year for some reason, which if.

Speaker 2 (13:07):
Cause it's really hard to have major takeaways when the
guys sit for an hour and a half in between
and then they go to second half, so it's hard
to like, what was the actual game plan?

Speaker 3 (13:17):
What were things doing?

Speaker 2 (13:17):
So obviously the Jaguars handle their business. I was wrong
about the Carolina Panthers, who again let me down in
Week one once again. So I'm going to take a
little bit more of a deep dive into Jacksonville and Cincinnati, because,
like you said, we thought that the Bengal would do
a little bit more. Again, they got the win against Cleveland,
but not in the fashion that we all expected it
to be in. So yeah, I'm gonna wait on this one.

Speaker 1 (13:39):
Next up we have the Los Angeles Rams and Tennessee Titans,
so Tennessee goes home. I think this is actually a
little bit of a dangerous spot because Tennessee did not
lay down for the Denver Broncos. Again, I think they
were outclass but I think also the Broncos, you know,
certainly got in their own way, but Nicks, especially early
on that game, got in his own way a little
bit too much. So here's other one where the Rams

(14:01):
are four and a half point favorites on the road,
Tennessee plus five and a half at home forty one
and a half of the consensus line for the over
the consensus under on betting pros forty two and a half.
Tennessee on the upset special plus two oh six. Intriguing.
I think I like Tennessee with the points plus five
and a half at home, cam Ward's debut in that building.
What do you think, Andrew?

Speaker 2 (14:21):
Yeah, this one is tough because, again, if you just
rewatched that Titans Broncos game, you don't necessarily think that
cam Ward was bad. I thought that he was making
a lot of good throws. I think that they were
putting in a lot of positions to come away with
the upset because every single chance that Denver Broncos had,
they were just giving the ball back to the Tennessee Titans,
basically begging them to come away with the win. But Callahan,

(14:44):
I thought the play calling was terrible and the fact
that he didn't do anything unique where Okay, so we're
just gonna pretend that Calvin really doesn't exist, Like we're
not going to move him around formation, try to get
him away from Patriester Titt. No, we're just gonna make
sure that you have to have elic iumn or be
your number one wide receiver a day three and your
gave you start for your your quarterback.

Speaker 3 (15:02):
That's where that's the plan.

Speaker 2 (15:04):
So I think maybe it's more of an under for
me here because I just don't have faith in Callahan
versus McVeigh. I don't care where this game is being
pitt Late. I'm not picking Callahan even getting some points.
So I like cam Ward, but I don't necessarily like
the head coach right now in Tennessee, all right, I.

Speaker 1 (15:20):
Just think that's too many points. But we'll see, We'll
see as it goes if it grows more. Look, maybe
this is one that is an early value. Maybe people
start to, you know, look at the rams, and it
gets bet up a little bit. Maybe it grows to
six and a half even better. So actually, as much
as I like it at five and a half, I
do think to some of the points Andrew makes here

(15:41):
that you might want to wait on this one if
you like Tennessee like I do, because I do think
that most of the money will probably come in on
the ram side of things. I do think that let's
go to Seattle in Pittsburgh. All right, So again Pittsburgh.
You know, Aaron Rodgers got hit a lot yesterday, that
defense did not look great. Seattle offensively snooze fest yesterday

(16:02):
for them, for sure. So now it's the first game
in Pittsburgh. I think I think the Steelers get off
to a two and oh start, I really do. The
number for this game hovers between two and a half
minus two and a half of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Plus
three is the best number on betting pros for Seattle Seahawks.
Forty and a half is the over, forty two for
the under, and then plus one thirty eight for the

(16:23):
upset of Seattle on the on the money line here, Andrew,
do you see anything early on in this one? You
like to me this is a huge stay away game.

Speaker 3 (16:32):
I think I agree with you. On the Steelers side
of things.

Speaker 2 (16:35):
I still don't think that my opinion on Sam Darnold
and the Seahawks offense has necessarily changed a lot. I
don't know if they're against the San Francisco forty nine
ers that I thought, Yeah, now the Seattle offense is cooking,
We're ready to go. And obviously Pittsburgh had a an
above expect well above expectation in terms of what they
did offensively, with Aaron Rodgers throwing four touchdowns. Now, I
think that a lot of that had to do with

(16:57):
being put into positive schemes with Arthur Smith. I thought
that really worked well for Week one against the New
York Jets. But one of these teams, either the Jets
are Steelers, it's going to come back down to earth
in Week two, I think, I don't think we're going
to see another thirty point explosion from both of these offenses.
So I think that this one, I mean, dare I
say I take another underwun a Steelers game at home,
But I think this is probably where we see the

(17:19):
defenses kind of come back to what we expected during
the offseason. So I like the Steelers at home against Seahawks,
you know, even laying minus two and a half.

Speaker 1 (17:29):
I gotta tell you, man, Like I just I didn't
like a lot of things I saw with the Steelers.
They got some big plays and some big spots. I
liked a lot when I saw of the Jets. I
came out of that game. Jets pret so fun I
came out of that game going, you know, I think
the Jets are going to be all right this year.
And I came out of that game going, man, I
think the Steelers are in for a rough year. And
it's so funny to think that way because the Steelers won.

(17:51):
But if you're watching that game, there were a lot
of I think positive progress things that the Jets have
not done well over the years that they did, and
a lot of pop things from justin Fields, and then
a lot of things where you know, again bounces the
ball moments there Rogers being motivated to stick it to
the Jets, which again you know you can never.

Speaker 2 (18:09):
Well, I think too, and this is something that I,
you know, I was totally wrong in my analysis of
the Steelers and Jets games. Field's actually talked about in
the broadcast meeting where he knew a lot of what
to expect from the Steelers defense, and I was come
to take it. I was taking the wrong angle of it.
I was like, oh, well, the Steels defense is going
to have to stop Fields, when I should have been,
oh well, Fields is going to know how to beat
the Steelers defense.

Speaker 3 (18:31):
So I was totally wrong with that.

Speaker 2 (18:33):
Where you could have taken both sides of that argument,
and obviously only one kind of came through. So that's
something to kind of keep in mind that Rogers knows
a lot of these Jets.

Speaker 1 (18:41):
I think they both kind of came through because it
smashed the the over under smashed it like by halftime basically,
So I think I think they were both right and
the process was right on both, but I think we
were both looking at it negatively, which is yes, yes, yes,
you know, we were like, oh, they know exactly what
they're doing, and they I think the other thing is
they know also the I think the shortcomings of both

(19:02):
quarterbacks at this stage in their career. But instead it
was the quarterbacks that actually reigned supreme. All right, let's
talk about the Buffalo Bills and the New York Jets.
So the Bills six and a half point favorites and
this one on the road forty five and a half
is the total you get right now plus two to
seventy with the Jets at home in the money line. Andrew,
any thoughts on this contest.

Speaker 2 (19:21):
I think that the Jets offense sets up well against
the Bills defense. What could the Bills not do? They
couldn't stop the run, and their second area is getting
absolutely ripped to shreds because they have so many injuries.
Like that's one of the biggest things with Buffalo right now.
So I don't trust their defense. And I saw enough
from the Jets offense that I really liked that at
six and a half at home, Yeah, give me the
New York Jets with the points.

Speaker 1 (19:41):
Give me overs on Breise Hall rushing, give me overs
on Justin fields rushing totals. That's how I want this game.
The same thing that I saw last year with the
playoffs of Buffalo is they can't stop good running backs
and good running systems and things like that. Aaron Glenn
wants run the football. They're gona run the football. I
want the overs on those. That's it. I'm not going
for this game at all. San Francisco at New Orleans. Here,

(20:04):
New Orleans seven point underdogs at home. Forty two and
a half is the number. Sometimes you can get the
under forty three and a half. I'm seeing a betting
pros and then plus two sixty four to war runs
on the money line. Now, look, most likely know George
Kittle for this game. It is Monday, we're recording this.
We don't have news on that, but I think we're
all thinking that way. But it seems like San France
should have enough to still go in and beat them
even without George Kittles. So the question is where do

(20:27):
you want to go here? For San Francisco you're getting
basically look at this point, you know the forty nine
ers are I think benefiting from early schedule. That's what
I'm going to say about that. And look, their schedule
is favorable all year.

Speaker 2 (20:41):
Right, Yeah, I mean that's kind of why when we
talked to like, that's why people are in on the
four and ers because they have an easy schedule, and
this is part of it. So when they play bad
teams like the Saints, the Saints don't have a and
my opinion, the Saints don't have a home field advantage
where oh no, we're going to New Orleans, Like, how
are we going to overcome this home field advantage that
they have. I don't think they really have that so

(21:01):
uninspired from what New Orleans did in Week one, the
Cardinals were able to come.

Speaker 3 (21:05):
Away with the victory.

Speaker 2 (21:06):
So I think that you just go right back to
the well here and just bet against the Saints until
until proven otherwise, just keep betting against New Orleans.

Speaker 1 (21:13):
Yeah, six and a half is right now the best
number I'm seeing for the San Francisco forty nine ers, right, Yeah,
So that's that's one you want to check out there.
All right, let's get to the next game on our slate.
New England Patriots not off to a great start. Miami
Dolphins off to a far worse start. This one's in
Miami exactly wins winless teams. Let's go, so the New

(21:35):
England Patriots plus two right now, you're getting plus one
and a half on Miami, so it's going to choose
your own adventure. Forty three and a half to forty
four and a half is the total and plus one
ten for the Patriots on the money line. Look, Patriots,
the weather wasn't great. We can make a lot of
excuses their work at progress. That's what they are. Miami Dolphins,
I think are a hot mess. I think you know,

(21:56):
somebody described it this morning to me as they got
donkey kicked yesterday into a burning barn, and I thought
that was very funny. I thought that was very appropriate
and the best way to put it. So, what are
your thoughts on this game? Here? This is another one
four outcomes. I'm staying away.

Speaker 4 (22:14):
No.

Speaker 2 (22:15):
So it's funny because I wrote about the last game
between the Dolphins and Colts as a four outcome game,
and I am glad that one of the one of
the outcomes and ended up coming through with the Colts
is absolutely demolishing Miami. Now, I think that people will
have a pause with the Patriots because the game is
in Miami. This is traditionally a spot where no matter
how good the Patriots have been, they've always sucked whenever

(22:35):
they go down to play Miami on the road. Like
that has been their bugaboo, even during the Tom Brady era.
But if I'm putting my money on Mike Frabel versus
Mike McDaniel after a big loss, who do I think
is going to come away with the I'm putting my
chips on Mike Frabel. And as disappointing as the Patriots
were in Week one, after the first drive, throughout the
first half the Patriots said, look good, like their defense

(22:57):
shutdown Gino Smith, it was in the second half where
things kind of unraveled. I guess missing Christian Zales is
obviously a big deals. He's their best defensive player, so
we'll see if they can get him back. But Miami,
this is strike too because we got the report during
the OTAs when they had the joint practice with the
Lions that reporters said this was the most one side
joint practice they'd ever seen. And then first game comes

(23:18):
and they get absolutely destroyed by the Nanapos Colts, I
think that there is a chance that this Dolphins thing
really gets off the train, and I want to take
advantage of it. So I'm going to be betting on
the bounce back for New England giving them to just
went out right real quick.

Speaker 1 (23:33):
Just going back to the forty nine ers game, there
is a book where you can get the forty nine
ers right now at plus money, just saying at plus four,
just lock that in. Just go to betting pros lock
that in. This is what this is. Just just do
that right now for me while you're watching the show
before it goes away. It's just go to bettingcros dot
com or download the app. This is what you do.
And while you're at it, check out the betting systems.
Check out all the tools, the bet tracker, all those things.

(23:55):
But it's about betting the best line you possibly can get,
right so when you find them and they pop up there,
sink your sports books for free again. Go to hard
Rock Bets too. Get all of our sponsorships here, but
also look for these best lines you can find, because
there's one right now. And I thought I was seeing
things Zan fram but I ain't, so it's I just
confirmed it. They'll get it right now. I already locked

(24:15):
in at Andrew. I don't about you all. Let's go
to Carolina and Arizona, all right, So Carolina once again
loves to beat up Andrew Ericson. In September, Arizona Cardinals,
they didn't look great. Kyler Murray was dealing with an
illness before the game. Yeah, Arizona four and a half
point favorites in this one. Carolina plus seven is the
best line you can find. Forty four and a half
to forty five and a half is the total. Plus

(24:36):
two sixty four the money line here on the Carolina Panthers.
I'm tempted by the plus two sixty with Carolina on
the money line. However, I like Carolina with the points here.
I just don't trust the Cardinals. I just don't. And
I think the weird ninety minute break in that game
just killed any sort of vibe that the camp Panthers
could have put together. And Jacksonville looked improved as I

(24:57):
thought they would be. I think Carolina can go out
there at least keep this one close. What do you think?

Speaker 3 (25:02):
I think this is probably a stay away from me.

Speaker 2 (25:05):
I got to give myself a break from Panthers for
a week to kind of reassess how every time you do.

Speaker 1 (25:09):
That, this is when you bet the Panthers. Everybody listen,
Whenever Andrew's in on the Panthers, you walk away. As
soon as he breaks, you run to the window, run
to the window, and get it historically. And I'm gonna
do it right now. Go ahead, keep talking while I
go back.

Speaker 2 (25:24):
I've got nothing else to say. I mean plus seven,
that that's really good value. I don't think the Cardinals
are necessarily I mean, I think the Cardinals are gonna win,
but by a touchdown, even at home. I think that
probably the Panthers are in a good spot to cover there.
So I think get plus seven. I think the Panthers
are probably the best value.

Speaker 1 (25:43):
All right. Next up here we have the Denver Broncos
going to the Indianapolis Colts. So now Daniel Jones gets
a test. So it was funny because Giants fans got
to watch Daniel Jones go to Indianapolis and turn into
Peyton Manning for a day, like Giants fans had to
watch Russell Wilson turn into Daniel Jones day. It was
good time, good time, Denver Broncos, right, now again, why

(26:06):
they're minus one and a half. I don't know. This
is just wrong. We'll just giving way too much credit
to the Indianapolis Colts.

Speaker 3 (26:12):
But do you think should be higher? You should be
it should be yeah.

Speaker 1 (26:15):
Three and a half at least, yes, at least I
think Denver goes back to that tape. I think Sean
Payton kicks their ass in practice this week and whoop
ass on the Colts. I can of whoop pass.

Speaker 3 (26:31):
I agree with you here.

Speaker 2 (26:32):
I think that the thing with the Colts, and this
is a trend that has basically been so confident in
the Shane Steike and era, is when their favorites they win,
and it's usually buy a lot and they usually cover.
And even in the game against the Dolphins, they weren't
favored by a lot, but they're still worthy betting favorite
even if it was like a half a point or
one point. So even though the Broncos aren't favored by
a lot, it is still telling that the market is

(26:55):
expecting Denver to win this game, even though they're playing
on the road. So I agree with you that this
is a good spot to by the bounce back on
Denver after they vomited all over themselves in Week one
and some and somehow still ended up winning by eight
points even though they turned them all over like five times. Yeah,
it's just absolutely ridiculous. And you're just not gonna see
Daniel Jones run as hot. Like drawing comparisons to the
last year, the Daniel Jones Week one was a lot

(27:16):
like the Derek Carr Week one, where he just looked unstoppable, like,
oh my.

Speaker 3 (27:20):
God, this guy's so good.

Speaker 2 (27:21):
And yeah, he can he can perform at a high
level at times in this offensive system. He's got a
lot of good weapons. That's notice credit to Daniel Jones.
And it's not like Daniels never had a good game
in the NFL.

Speaker 1 (27:31):
Like he's had good games, especially when he had Saquon
healthy and he had people healthy around him. He was serviceable, yes,
you know, and he played. I don't want to take
anything away from Daniel Jones and jokes is very times
Danny Din's ball down. But Denver is going. You want
to talk about Week two bounce backs, it's the Lions
and it's the Broncos.

Speaker 2 (27:47):
I mean, you're going from arguably facing the worst defense
in the NFL to the best.

Speaker 3 (27:51):
Defense the next week.

Speaker 1 (27:53):
Right, so so we'll see how that goes. About forty
three and a half is the total minus won twenty
eight on Denver Broncos on the money line, So you
could just to take the points run away right now,
I see minus two and some other spots already. Philadelphia
Eagles are going to go to Kansas City. This one
is plus one and a half on both sides. You
can get this right now, depending on your adventure. Forty

(28:13):
five to forty seven and a half. That's the total
range and then minus won ten for the Eagles on
the money line, plus one sixteen. Look, Xavi, you're worthy
most likely out for this one. Look I've been saying
it all year. You lose Super Bowls, bad things happen
the next year. I think the Chiefs go zero to
two in this one. I think the Eagles, despite their
nonsense sometimes I think Sequon Barkley once again rolls. Kansas

(28:37):
City has not I don't think can stop him. I
just don't think they can. So that's where I'm going.
I'm keeping this one easy. You can give me Eagles
just straight up on the money line, and I'll take
that right now. What do you think I agree with you?

Speaker 2 (28:48):
I think that the Super Bowl hangover is a real
thing that you have talked about at nauseum throughout these
offseason pods, and drawing a matchup against the Eagles in
week two is this is not the park. So it's
crazy that the Chiefs are underdogs at home. I can't
remember the last time this has happened. But when you're
facing the raigning Super Bowl champions that destroyed you the

(29:09):
last time that these teams faced off in the Super Bowl, yeah,
give me those birds.

Speaker 1 (29:14):
Don't forget everybody too. When you download the Betting pros app,
I almost forgot to tell people this. You get the
seven day free trial of the premium when you download
it right now, So go to bettingpros dot com slash

our good friend Matt Perrault of the host of the

code Juice when you download the Betting Pros app if
you're downloading it for the first time, and you'll get

(29:35):
the activation screen to pop up and you can go
ahead and you get the premium tools there for seven days.
Great time to do that this time of year. Continuing
on with our slate of games here. After the Eagles
and Kansasity Chiefs the rematch at four twenty five, we
pivot to the evening and we're gonna go Atlanta Falcons,
Minnesota Vikings. Look at Minnesota getting two primetime games open

(29:56):
up the season. Look at JJ primetime JJ McCarthy, We'll
see he does tonight. The Vikings you're getting at minus
four and a half. The Falcons, you're getting a plus
five and a half fifth. Excuse me, forty three and
a half to forty five and a half is the
range of the total for this game. Plus two five
on the Falcons. I'm gonna wait and see. I want
to see what the Falcons do in James J. McCarthy.
So for me, this is a hold, not investing yet again.

(30:19):
I'm early on the Eagles, I'm early on the Broncos.
I'm early on the Lions. That's where I'm at, But
not this one. Andrew, I want to wait and see tonight.
What do you think?

Speaker 2 (30:27):
I think that if I'm trying to bet this now,
I'm just gonna bet the under. I don't know if
we're going I'm just not expecting an offensive explosion. From
the Vikings, So I think that this number will go
down just because they're playing on the road against Chicago Bears.
Think it's an underrated defense. And then you have Michael
Pennix then going on the road to play a Brian
Floores defense, which I guess can be very boom or bust.
But right now, some of the Falcons receivers are banged up,

(30:49):
so I don't know if Darnel Mooney's gonna play, and
missing Mooney for the Falcons significantly changed the upside of
that offense, like they were not going downfield. Casey Washington
was like heavily involved in the game plan. Drake Lennon
is also now dealing with a sprain shoulder injury, so
he's a little bit banged up. So I think right now,
if I'm jumping on this, especially at forty five and
a half, it looks like I'm a betting pros odds,

(31:09):
that's the highest number I'm looking at. I like taking
the under if the Vikings are playing at home.

Speaker 1 (31:14):
Next up here, we have a double dip on Monday
Night football. We got the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at the
Houston Texans, so we will get updated on Stingley's injury
today too. I imagine minus one and a half here
for the Houston Texans, plus two and a half for
the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Forty four and a half is
that total steady right now? Plus one sixteen for Tampa
on the money line. So this is another one too.

(31:34):
I think it's close. It's tight, two very good football teams.
If this was in Tampa, I feel differently about it,
but it's not. It's in Houston, so this one's a
stay away from me. I don't see any early value, Andrew,
do you?

Speaker 3 (31:47):
I do.

Speaker 2 (31:48):
I like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers here because the best
time to bet Baker Mayfield is on the road, and
when he's not on the road, it's when he is
an underdog. Like, that's when you bet on Baker Mayfield.
So I like both those trends. Work Las week on
the road, they came away with the win, so give
me the bucks.

Speaker 1 (32:04):
And then finally the ten o'clock game, the Los Angeles
Chargers taking on the Las Vegas Raiders. You're getting minus
three on the Chargers. On betting pros, you're getting plus
three and a half forty four to forty five and
a half is the range for the total, and then
you're getting plus one sixty two for the Las Vegas
A Raiders. Now, brock Bauer said, he's fine, we'll see
as time goes on here. But the Chargers look good

(32:25):
to me, and it goes a big first game, a
big stave in game. Quentin Johnston, we'll see if it
carries over. Keenan Allen getting involved. I think you're gonna
see Justin Herbert kind of open up the box again
of all the tools. And everybody says, oh, they're never
gonna throw the ball again. I think that's that's nonsense.
I think Greg Roman knows he's got a really good

(32:47):
quarterback and he's gonna use him. And that's why they
went out and got more weapons to throw the football more,
because you got to do that nowadays in the NFL.
So I like the Chargers here. I like you with
the three. I would just lock that in. But look,
Vegas was plucky on the road, there's no doubt about that.
But I think the Chargers again still a little bit
of a class above. But maybe Andrew you see this differently.

Speaker 2 (33:07):
No, I think that that's the exact point I wanted
to make I think that the Raiders are now going
up a class in terms of the opponent that they're facing.
I think that they were definitely in the same class
as the New Eland Patriots where that game, I wouldn't
say either the Raiders or Patriots absolutely dominated that game.
There were times where the Raiders looked better and there
were times when the Patriots looked better. Obviously, the Raiders
came away with the victory on the road. Give give
them credit where credit is due, But the Chargers like

(33:30):
pretty handily beat the Chiefs. I feel like that they
were the better team throughout the entire game. So even
though they're I mean they're playing on the road here
at Las Vegas, I think that you're going to see
Herbert Cook here.

Speaker 1 (33:43):
So I like the Chargers all right, and we like
you to, of course follow us on the Betting Pros
YouTube channel. Make sure you subscribe. You can drop your
favorite early pick right here in the comments below, and

get a little early line action. We're gonna be here
every single Monday doing this show, getting ahead of the
lines as quickly as we can and hopefully finding some
early values. So that'll do it for us. But the
story of the game goes on for Andrew Ericson. I'm
Joey p. We'll see you next time. Kids.
