Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome in everybody to Betting Pros. It's time to place
your bets. So this be Joey P Jo P's a
P and this is BP ANDFL. It's time to look
ahead to the early values of Week six in the NFL.
But Week five, oh, it was good. The Closure Eyes
special hit, the Baker Mayfield upset special hit. I was
five and h on the props over on the Betting

Make sure you download it and make sure you're using
the tools. Don't be a tool. It was a great
Week five. I am on a high end. My Patriots
one and I even cash out of a big parlay
when the Bills were up, and thank god I did,
because the Patriots somehow won that football game. It was
great to see. I'm in a great mood. Andrew Erickson,
(00:44):
how about Drake may and what you saw last night?
I were going to call us homers, but come on,
it's been a while since we could celebrate a little bit.
That was cool.
Speaker 2 (00:51):
Yeah, the Patriots have their quarterback of the future. He
looked the part the first four weeks of the season.
Then go up to Buffalo and not just cover the spread,
but get the out right w put the team position,
Like that's what you want from your franchis quarterback. You're down,
you need to get a score the two minute drill,
Give me the ball, and what do they do with it?
He goes down, gets them in field goal range to
kick the field goal. They win the game on the road.
(01:13):
So great win for the Patriots. And we were talking
before we started recording. You look at this Patriots schedule.
I know we talked about it in the offseason. Man,
this is so easy. Just look at it again, like
you're just like, yep, this schedule is so so easy.
I think the next toughest matchup they actually have is
actually against the Buffalo Bills in a rematch at Chellette Stadium,
So that'll be a fun one to watch. But yeah,
(01:34):
definitely big stock off for the Patriots and Chrishian gon
Zales just means so much to this defense. I think
last week, I think it was okay to be like, hey,
let's pump the brakes. It was the Carolina Panthers who
also did have a big performance here in Week five
because they're playing at home. Because the Panthers love to
be productive when they play at home, sure, yeah, Patriots
stock up.
Speaker 3 (01:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:55):
In one o'clock games, so many blowouts too, which was
weird to see, I think at times. And then you
had a really great game in the four o'clock window
where you had a Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold. Now,
if I told you in twenty eighteen these two would
have a great matchup together, did you think they'd be
playing for the Buccaneers and the Seattle Seahawks when I
told you that? Probably not because that was a long
(02:15):
time ago. But fun game regardless. With the throwback Unis
two is a lot of good football, well some good football.
It was some bad football if you were a Jets
Van Ravens fan. It was a tough day at the office.
Let's be honest, it's kind of tough. And we have
no more undefeated teams. We have one winless team of
the Jets, so things are starting to take shape here.
We only got two teams on a buy. Let's get
after it, and of course what we do don't forget
(02:37):
to subscribe to the channel here on Betting Pros YouTube.
But let's go to six week here in the NFL,
and let's start with Indivision matchup Thursday night, Philadelphia Eagles
coming off their first loss there four and one the Giants,
as we predicted. We got that right too in the
show last week. We nailed it on this show. We said,
bet the Saints, right, Bet the Saints, bet em early.
(02:58):
If you did, you're in a good spot there. Saints
beat the Giants. There didn't have to be a rocket
signed just to figure at first start of a rookie
quarterback of the road would be tough, and it was.
But here we go. So the Philadelphi Eagles are seven
point favorites on the road. Forty one and a half
is the over, forty two and a half is the under.
You're getting plus three fifty five on the money line. Here.
The Giants' best number you can get up betting pros
consensus is plus seven and a half. I'll be honest
(03:20):
with you, you know this seven is a good amount.
I think the Giants are going to leave this all
out on the table. That Eagles offense tends to continue
to be a work in progress in a weird way.
But I think my favorite approach to this is Saquon
Barkley over and I'm just gonna keep living in that
world and I think that's where I want to live.
And I'm kind of gonna let this one go. Do
(03:41):
you have any feels about this one here at the
top of the week.
Speaker 2 (03:44):
I think I agree with that one. Just how do
you tack the Giants defense as you run the ball,
And we know that when Philadelphia has that opportunity, like
that's how they would prefer to run their offense. Like
last week, it's no coincidence that Jalen Hurts had a
season hind passing the attempt to He just thirty eight
passing attempts and they yeah, right, So it's like those
things are correlating. When they get to run the football
(04:04):
effectively with Barkley, that's what they like to do. I
think they'd like to get Barkley going a little bit. Obviously,
he's been more of a sluggish start this year compared
to last season, so I think this is a good
advantage for him. And I also do like the I
like buying the dip on some of the A. J.
Brown stuff. Still, I mean, they were still with a
jamming Hyms targets last week. It was a really tough
matchup against her Tan and the chasing the receiver after
they face their tan is now a perfect four. And
(04:26):
oh we saw with Jamar Chase, pretty good game from
Jamar Chase receiving wise. It was after he faced Patrick's
tertan so aj Brown. The line's probably pretty low player
props wise, so maybe hitting me over on that as well.
Speaker 1 (04:38):
Yeah, I understand like the forty one and a half
is tempting to go with the over there. I think
I would lean towards the over. But again, I'm just
looking for the individuals in this game. I'm not gonna
mess around with this one. Denver, New York, this one
I will mess around with. The Jets are at home,
they are winless. Denver bronc was coming off a big win.
They are three and two. They are seven point favorites
in this game on the road. The Jets are getting
(04:58):
plus seven and a half three and a half is
the over forty four and a half. The under plus
three to zero seven for the Jets to upset the Broncos,
which I don't like. Ken the Denver Broncos win by seven.
Andrew with this Jets team that has turnover issues that
seems to have some quit in them too, which I
don't like. I thought Aaron Glenn would come in here,
make this team tougher, and instead they're winless and they
turn the football over. And here's a fun fact too.
(05:20):
On defense this year, they have not gotten one turnover,
not a fumble, recovery, not an interception, O gots nothing.
So that's kind of crazy when you think about just
a law of averages that not happening yet.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
Yeah, eventually you think that they just fall on a
fumble and just to get recovery. Actually, I would point
out this game is London. This is another international game,
so it's not a home game technically.
Speaker 1 (05:43):
Oh that's right, yes for bad.
Speaker 2 (05:45):
So I think that does add a layer of especially
with the line.
Speaker 1 (05:49):
I was like, does anything matter where the Jets play
at this point? I don't know it just so I
think you saw lot.
Speaker 2 (05:55):
Like, yeah, the international games can get kind of funky.
Usually lean towards the under in these types of games.
I bet the under in the Browns Viking game live
after they both scored. After I saw cam Ager's touchdown
be the reason why we were scoring points, I was like, Okay,
this game is not gonna be high scoring if they're
taking running back passes to score points and off like
big kick returns, So probably an underlean for me between
(06:20):
this game.
Speaker 1 (06:21):
Okay, next one here after another London game.
Speaker 3 (06:23):
Again.
Speaker 1 (06:24):
I mean, I don't know how things can get better
for the Jets trying to get out of me. Who knows,
maybe getting out of their routines. Maybe that is actually
what they need. I don't know, but I would lean
towards Denver covering the seven here. I think Denver could
win this game by double digits easily. So I'm gonna
go with Denver in the seven. Let's go to Arizona Indianapolis.
This one kicks off the one o'clock games on Sunday.
(06:44):
Indy is four and one. They look really good. They
look like they could be in control of this division.
They're playing good on both sides of the football. Jonathan
Taylor looks great. Arizona two and three. Some still issues there,
you know in Arizona. Michael Carter obviously picking up the slack,
Aaron Amari di Marcato obviously dropping the slack right the
gold line. That's what he did. Five and a half.
Here is the number you're getting. Plus five and a
(07:06):
half on Arizona, minus five on the Indianapolis Colts. Forty
six and a half of the over, forty seven and
a half of the under, plus two of five on
the money line for the upset. I gotta be honest
with you, like I never thought I'd get to this point,
but I do feel pretty confident Daniel Jones. Five to
me is a strange number. I would probably take the
five and a half on the Arizona side, but I
still feel comfortable that the Colts win this game. So
(07:30):
maybe I'm better off just looking maybe for the over
here on the forty six and a half. If you
think that this Cardinals offense can take it on the road,
I like the.
Speaker 2 (07:38):
Colts just continue to back Stiking when he's favored. I
think that the thing we need to wrap our minds around,
and maybe something I need to do a better job
of too, is it's Daniel Jones and Shane Stiken. Like
it's this combination of quarterback and head coach. And I
think it's pretty obvious working your Sam Darnold is Daniel
Jones right right? Like if you put him in the
right situation with the right coach, and what do they do?
(08:01):
Just win and cover games. So you want to be
betting on Daniel Jones when the Colts are favored when
they're underdogs. It's a different scenario, different situation. But I
mean the fact that the Cardinals just like I mean
loss of the Tights, Like I get, it was like
in one of the weirdest ways ever. It should not
have it should have not gone to how the actual
game results ended. But still like leaves a sour taste
in your mouth that man, this team didn't this team
(08:22):
lots to Brian Callahan like, come on, like this super frustrating.
So just go to the Colts's favorites.
Speaker 1 (08:29):
Okay, Colts's favorites there, like I can't. Again, I'm confident
they'd win. Colts on the money line minds two thirty
eight way too much juice, obviously. I think the Colts
is something that I would take them. Put it with
something else in like a parlay with another one, and
see if I can just bump those odds up. I
do like Colts to win this game outright. And of course,
don't forget hard Rock Bet, sponsor of our show. We're

He's actually might pick on my other show for to

Next up here the Los Angeles rams licking their wounds
(10:36):
after a tough lost Thursday night last week. They take
on whatever's left of the Baltimore Ravens. This defense is
like Swiss cheese. There's so many holes. I don't think
we're gonna get Lamar Jackson for this game. I'd be surprised.
But again, let's talk about this. One minus seven Here
is what you're getting here for the Rams on the road,
the Ravens plus seven and a half the over for
(10:57):
this game forty five and a half, the under forty
six and a half plus two ninety for the Ravens
on the upset on the money line, Andrew, Baltimore Ravens
are a disaster. Do you see any value in this
early line?
Speaker 3 (11:09):
Not at this number for the Ravens side.
Speaker 2 (11:11):
I mean, I need at least double dig just with
the Ravens if I'm going to try to take them,
even playing at home.
Speaker 3 (11:16):
So I'll take the Rams.
Speaker 2 (11:17):
The Rams tractionally play a lot better on the road anyway,
especially against the number. We're usually getting some type of
value because it's, oh, well we need to factor and
that the Rams are playing on the road. But McVeigh,
Matthew Stafford, especially after a big loss Thursday night against
the forty nine ers. I like the rams in this spot,
all right.
Speaker 1 (11:34):
Next up here we have the game between the Cleveland
Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers. Steelers fresh off of bye Cleveland,
fresh off a loss in London, Dylan Gabriel new quarterback
under center of this week, So nobody really knew that
was going to happen. That was a lot of one
of the many surprises that Week five brought us. So
Cleveland plus six and a half minus four and a
half of the Pittsburgh Steelers are getting thirty seven and
a half of the over, thirty eight and a half
(11:56):
of the under, plus two hundred for the Cleveland Browns
on the upset. Now, look, I can't say that it's
not in play because it is, because I feel like
the Browns always show up in these weird spots where
you just want to write them off. But with the
rookie quarterback going into Pittsburgh, it's a tough situation. Like
first he's in London, then he's got to go there.
(12:17):
I think I'm just going to keep it simple here
and stick with the Pittsburgh Steelers. How about you?
Speaker 2 (12:21):
Yeah, you want a better against rookie quarterbacks playing on
the road, and that worked technically last week barely. Then
the Vikings end up covering the three and a half
spread at the end of the game with the final
score that they had. But yeah, Dylan Gabriel making his
first road start in Pittsburgh, hostile environment against a team
on a bye week, Yeah, I think. And we've seen
(12:42):
this Browns defense play significantly worse when they're not playing
at home. So as good as Miles Garrett can be
neutral field home field advantage, you don't see it nearly
as much when they play on the road. So I
think just that alone makes me lee on Steelers side.
Speaker 1 (12:56):
Yeah, four and a half to lock this in before
Mike row a little bit more, it's possible it does.
Jacksonville's going to host the Seattle Seahawks, so we'll see
what Jacksonville does tonight against the Kansas City Chiefs, but
they are at home, Seattle going on the road. Seattle
played a really fun game there with Tampa that was tight,
was tough, but we knew Baker Mayfield. Oh, we show
up at the end and mechag Buka is a superstar.
Ladies and gentlemen, so this one here are getting plus
(13:17):
one and a half for the Seattle Seahawks, minus one
on Jacksonville's the best number forty four and a half
or the over forty five and a half for the under.
You're getting even money on the money line on Seattle
and minus one oh six for Jacksonville. I'm gonna take
the even money with Seattle. I just think they're a
more complete team at this stage of the game than
the Jacksonville Jaguars are. That's my take. I think the
(13:38):
Jags are improved from last year. We'll see what happens tonight.
We'll see if any injuries impact this line. But that's
my early take on this one is just give me
Seattle straight up on the money line. How about you.
Speaker 2 (13:48):
I think that I agree with you, and it pains
me said because I was definitely a big Seattle fader
in the offseason, which doesn't look good just based on
how they've played now. Like obviously they end up losing
against the Tabay Buccaneers. That worked in my favor. But
if I'm just looking at this specific matchup against Jacksonville,
I'm still not exactly sure what Jacksonville is. Maybe we'll
get a bitter idea of how they match up against
the Kansas City Chiefs. I still feel like Trevor Lawrence,
(14:10):
I Thean Cohen aren't fully in sink. Brian Thomas Junior
and Trevor Lawrence still aren't fully in sync yet. So
they're still kind of growing their relationship. And right now
I think Seattle just looks a little bit better. And
they I mean JSN to Sam Donold's been clicking. They
have the run game going, their defense has been playing
again for the Buccaneers game and paying very very good.
And I had a couple of injuries, but I think
(14:31):
I am on the Seattle side as well.
Speaker 1 (14:33):
All right, the tough side right now for the Chargers here,
they have lost so many pieces. They've lost two tackles,
They've lost two running backs. Now Murrain Hampton has hurt.
They've lost Khalil Mack. Like it is bad, like it
is really bad. Now. They are three and two. They're
coming off a loss here. Miami is Miami, though, and
they're gonna go to Miami here one and four team,
(14:54):
they are at home and they are underdogs at home.
The Chargers four and a half point favorites. The Dolphins
plus five and a half, you're getting forty four for
the over forty five and a half for the under,
minus two thirty on the money line for the Chargers,
plus two twenty five for Miami. So let's talk about
this one here. Miami takes another tough loss. They were
in this game, they were competing without Tyreek Hill, and
(15:17):
I think the best way to approach this one is
just to take the over personally and just hope for
the best. But that does become more complicated when you're
losing Omari and Hampton's and you're losing Tyreek Hills.
Speaker 2 (15:28):
Yeah, you think that, Okay, the Chargers really have a
chance to run all over the Miami Dolphins. We just
out Rico Daddle did the Miami Dolphins rushing for over
two hundred yards. But then you look up and it's
Hassan Haskins and Kamani vy Deell. Like that, they're gonna
be the running backs of the Chargers, potentially for Marionhampton
is out again. He was seeing a walking boot after
the Chargers loss, so chances are he's probably not going
(15:49):
to be playing anytime soon. So that's a big red flag. Mean,
we train the Chargers' offense was cooking for the first
couple weeks of the season and then just.
Speaker 3 (15:57):
Joe All it's out.
Speaker 2 (15:58):
Trey Pickens is injured now, Becton has been dealing with injuries,
so just too many injuries on this offensive line. I
think that Harbaugh and Herbert find a way to get
it done. I don't think they're going to lose drop
three in a row in kind of like pretty bad fashion,
So I would bind the bounce back and just continue
to Again, Miami doesn't be good teams.
Speaker 3 (16:15):
I think the Charters are a good team, so give.
Speaker 1 (16:18):
Me what's left to them. I'll take the over in
this game forty four and is a pretty reasonable over
I think for this contest, considering the Miami defense and
where they're at all right, don't forget everybody. Make sure

Let's talk about Dallas Cowboys and the Carolina Panthers. Here,
(17:04):
Dallas has a tie and then a w against the Jets.
I don't know, you're starting to feel a little bit
if we're the Cowboys. Maybe we get Cedee Lamb back
in this game. Maybe Carolina Panthers coming off a dramatic victory.
But this is a tricky one here because what are
you gonna believe. You're gonna believe that the Panthers beating
the Dolphins or the Dallas Cowboys beating up on the Jets.
(17:25):
So it's a tough one here. Minus three and a
half you're getting even money on with the Dallas Cowboys.
Carolina plus three and a half, forty eight is the over,
forty eight and a half is the under minus won
seventy nine for the Cowboys on the money line plus
one sixty two. It feels like over city to me
in this game, with the way the defense is played.
So I'm just gonna live there. Andrew, how about you
(17:45):
so we did.
Speaker 3 (17:46):
Last week.
Speaker 2 (17:46):
It was one of my best bets was the Panthers
Dolphins game going over. And that's exactly because it is
like I'm not touching sides of this game, Like I'm not.
I'm not betting on either of these teams to win.
So just let me bet against the Dallas defense. I
bet against the Anther's defense, and that's how you do
it by by betting the over.
Speaker 1 (18:03):
Okay, next up here in New England, Patriots now coming
off a big victory here against the Buffalo Bills there
two and two. New Orleans gets their first win of
the year last year, but they're still underdogs at home
against the Pats. Minus two and a half year is
what New England's getting, plus three and a half for
New Orleans. Forty five and a half is the over,
forty five and a half is the under, and then
you're getting minus won sixty five for New England on
(18:24):
the money line, plus one forty on the Saints. I know,
sometimes there's emotional traps, like you have a big emotional
game and sometimes there's a letdown. It is a primetime
game too, so guys get a little off their schedule
and stuff. But I just think preparation wise, quarterback play wise.
I just feel confident in what Drake May is doing.
I think they build on it. Sefon Diggs is at
two straight hundred yard games. Christian Gonzales back, as we
(18:46):
mentioned at the top of the show, huge for that defense.
I'm taking the Pats here with the points. I'll take
them on the money line. With something else to you.
I think Pats and the before mentioned Indianapolis Colts put
those two money lines together, you'll get it into plus money.
And that's a nice how about you.
Speaker 3 (19:01):
I like the Patriots too.
Speaker 2 (19:02):
I think that you want to point out with the
Saints the last couple of weeks, what they've been able
to do effectively offensively is run the football. Against the Bills,
they were to run the football. Against the Giants, they
were to run the football. Patriots are been really good
against the run through all four games or all the
games that they've played this season, and obviously getting Gonzalz
back has really helped them in the back end in
terms of defending the past. So I think that this
(19:23):
is a good spot for the Patriots, even after a
big win. I mean, you know who's also coming off
a big win. The first win of Spender Ratlers NFL
career is the Saints. So if there's anyone that's going
to potentially have a letdown spot, it's after the Saints
partying too much of Bourbon Street after celebrating Spencer Ratlers
first and potentially only NFL win as a starter.
Speaker 1 (19:42):
All right, Next up here, Tennessee Titans. They are one
in four Las Vegas Raiders. Also one in four Geno
Smith through an interception right here while we were recording
the show. It's unbelievable. He just never stops doing it.
Plus six and a half for the Titans, minus five
and a half of the Raiders. I don't know if
I can handle that number necessarily. Forty one is the over,
(20:02):
forty two and a half is the under. Plus two
thirty five for the Tennessee Titans. I don't know. If
you see Geno Smith again, I think, or at least
not this week. I think you could see again. Nothing's
broken news wise as of recording this. I think there's
a good chance you either see Kenny Pickett start a
game or take over at some point in this game.
That's my feeling. It feels like a bit of a
stay away if anything, I want the Titan side with
(20:24):
the six and a half.
Speaker 2 (20:25):
Your thoughts, I cannot bet on the Titans in any
way shape. I understand Callahan is the head coach. I
mean last week, like what had to happen for the
Titans to win that game?
Speaker 1 (20:35):
Like a lot of your madness, Like somebody had to intercept,
somebody has to take one of their bad plays and
then screw it up for then Tyler Lockett to pick
it up and go in the end zone. That's what happened.
Speaker 3 (20:45):
Like how else is ty Locker going to score a touchdown?
Speaker 1 (20:48):
Then that's it.
Speaker 3 (20:49):
That's it.
Speaker 1 (20:50):
That's the one touchdown he'll have all year. But again,
I but what about the Raiders? Says that we're confident
in them, Like their defense isn't very good. I mean
they have a great player of Max Crosby, they have
a but they have Brock Bauers who clearly hurt. Right.
You have Ashton Genty who's a rock star. You got
Geno Smith who turns the ball over for five seconds.
You just can't keep doing that to yourself. They're killing themselves.
(21:12):
And if you do that, even against bad teams, Tennessee
showed you you even do you'd kill yourself against bad teams.
Even bad teams in the NFL can find a victory.
Speaker 2 (21:20):
Well, I think that if the Raiders just simplify the
game plan and just say, hey, let's just give the
ball to ash and genty thirty times, like keep it
out of.
Speaker 1 (21:27):
Geno Smith's about this. Let's simplify the game plan this way. Hey, Gino,
let's give the ball to our players, just our players.
Let's try that. I can argue with that.
Speaker 3 (21:39):
Can you let you know? Cook baby?
Speaker 1 (21:42):
Oh my god, the milk's gone bad? All right, Let's
go to San Francisco Tampa. This is the game of
the week for me. I love this this. This is
the one two, four and one teams. I assume you
get brock Purty back, but I don't want to assume
considering mac Jones.
Speaker 3 (21:56):
Is that like he's gonna play.
Speaker 1 (21:59):
I'm just saying. I'm just saying, like I love stirring
the pot. I love it. Plus three here for San Francisco,
Baker Mayfield is a home favorite. Boom minus two and
a half. Oh forty six and a half is the over,
forty seven and a half is the under. Plus one
forty two on the San Furan money line minus one
forty eight. Look, San France still has a ton of injuries,
(22:21):
that a ton of issues. I'll take the over forty
six and a half in this game.
Speaker 3 (22:24):
That's my spot.
Speaker 1 (22:25):
I'm just gonna enjoy the points. How about you.
Speaker 3 (22:29):
I gotta stick to it. I gotta trust the process.
Joe can't bet on it. I know it's Tan Frans
a comfy home favorite. That's just this is not where
he throws.
Speaker 1 (22:36):
It's two and a half comfy though, but it's two
and a half comfy. That's the question.
Speaker 2 (22:40):
Yeah, it's it's still too cut because you're gonna probably
see it's like more forty nine ers injuries. But now
you have the forty nine ers coming off additional rest. Again,
they should be getting some pieces back in some I
mean Pierce will probably back, Jennings will probably back. Whether
they get back Jones or brock Party.
Speaker 3 (22:54):
We'll see.
Speaker 2 (22:55):
But yeah, this is just typically. I mean you have
to imagine we're talking about letdown game. I mean the
Buccaneers going up to Seattle, coming away with that massive win,
coming back home against they've banged up forty nine Ers
team yet and they're coming up with a big win.
Speaker 3 (23:08):
Two.
Speaker 2 (23:08):
But I'm just gonna trust the process here. I'm not
got better of the Buccaneers when their home favorites. It's
not spot all right.
Speaker 1 (23:15):
Speaking of home favorites, how about this one. Green Bay
Packers minus fourteen and a half. That's the number here
in this game against the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals are
just almost covered.
Speaker 3 (23:24):
It was close.
Speaker 1 (23:26):
I know, I know that's the thing.
Speaker 3 (23:27):
So again it was eleven points and it was close,
but I was wrong.
Speaker 1 (23:31):
But now he's going on the road after a team
just had a buy and that green Bay defense theoretically
is still very good despite what they did last time
we saw him against the Cowboys. Forty three and a
half for the over, forty four and a half of
the under, plus eight hundred for the upset. Gotta love that.
I mean, maybe just throw a ten spot on the
just just in case Cincinnati Bulls went out of the hat.
You never know in these days. I mean, the Bills
(23:51):
were minus five hundred last night against the Patriots, so
things happened, so like fourteen and a half. The question
is is the number two big free? You are so.
Speaker 3 (24:00):
Comfortable, stupid, just such a massive number.
Speaker 1 (24:05):
It is two touchdown into the half.
Speaker 2 (24:07):
I mean the Packer's still like I don't love their corners,
Like that's one of the things like if the passer
and again if the passer doesn't hit on I mean,
is it not going to hit home against the Bengals, Like, oh.
Speaker 1 (24:16):
The pass rusher is going to hit home. Yes, you
could see Brett ripping in this game because Jake Browning
is out on a stretcher somewhere possible like that, that's
very possible. You're right, though you're not. You are not wrong.
The matchup theoretically, of these wide receivers against those corners
favorite Cincinnati. The question is can Jake Browning stay upright
and throw the football before Michael Parsons and company kills him?
Speaker 3 (24:36):
I think I would probably bet. I think it's probably
like what's the total you.
Speaker 1 (24:40):
Said total is forty three and a half for the over.
Speaker 3 (24:43):
I think i'd go over, you know, just bet on
a couple of days Bengals.
Speaker 1 (24:46):
Receivers and then I know that mop up later, Yeah, rip.
Speaker 3 (24:49):
Up this Bengals defense. So I'd probably go just bet
the over.
Speaker 1 (24:52):
A lot of overs this week we're staying away from
the lines. It feels like a lot of overs all right,
Detroit four and one, Kansas City to be determined tonight.
Kansas City minus one point favorite at home. That feels
right to me. Detroit plus one and a half, forty
and a half is the over, forty nine and a
half is the under. You're getting even money on the
Lions minus one fifteen on the Kansas City Chiefs. So again,
the Chiefs are starting to look better. But again, scheduleise,
(25:14):
you know, when you're playing the Giants and some other
teams like look and look, the Ravens are no good.
So clearly playing the Ravens is not nearly as impressive.
Now that victory, I feel like there's value a little
bit here on the Lions with the even money on
the money line. The Lions seem to have a good
game plan. I know Jared Goff outdoors is not my
favorite investment, but I feel like the Lions are the
(25:35):
better team right now, or we're playing better football right
now than the Chiefs. Now that might change my tune
if they blow out the Jags tonight, again, a good team,
not a great team. Maybe I feel differently, But what's
your early take on Lions Chiefs?
Speaker 2 (25:48):
Well, we're talking about the lines. So the Lions beat
the Bengals pretty handedly. They beat the Ravens who are injured,
and then who was the last other team that they
had played in between the Ravens.
Speaker 3 (25:59):
And the like that was like, a that's good point.
Speaker 1 (26:02):
No, that's a good point.
Speaker 2 (26:03):
And if I'm missing a team, like, please correct me,
but I don't remember like them beating up may they
beat the Bears?
Speaker 1 (26:10):
Like well they let's say they lost to the Packers
week one, Yes, then they destroyed the Bears, they destroyed
the Browns, They beat up on the Ravens thirty eight thirty,
and then they just beat up on the Bengals thirty seventh.
So so to your credit, So, yeah, neither of these
teams is really like this is it. This is where
the rubber meets the road here for these two teams.
Speaker 2 (26:28):
And I would say, like to give credit to Kansas
I mean, Kansas City has played like good team, like
the Chargers Eagles, like, yes, they beat the Giants, but
they needed to get a win somewhere, so they took
care of business.
Speaker 3 (26:40):
And then obviously they also you know, beat the Rays destroyed.
Speaker 2 (26:43):
Yeah, yeah, I think this might be one of the
tougher matchups that the Lions have faced. So especially with
I mean the Chiefs defense when they played at home,
Like that's a tough defense to throw on be effective against.
And we've talked about with Jared Goff home road splits.
I think this is maybe a spot where we don't
see the super efficient Jared Doffs. So especially with maybe
(27:04):
Line's getting more credit because they're coming off additional rest
or where the Chiefs are coming off a short week,
and usually you want to be on the other side
of that, and you read with additional rest is usually
something you want to bet on. I think maybe see
some value with kin City.
Speaker 1 (27:16):
Okay, next up here the Buffalo Bills looking their wounds
after a loss there. So they are now in a
spot here where they are four and one the Atlanta
Falcons two and two here in this game. So look,
you got a spot where Buffalo Bills maybe take out
their aggressions. They're five and a half point favorites on
the road against Atlanta. Atlanta is plus five and a half.
(27:38):
They're coming off thereby fifteen and a half is the
number for the over and the under, and then plus
two hundred for Atlanta on the upset. Now look the Bills.
Who is two in a row would be kind of
tricky here. I feel like Josh Allen pulls this one out.
The question is is this one closer than the five
and a half?
Speaker 2 (27:52):
Is this one that's another just betting the over. The
Bill's defense I think is still I mean, it depends
on not great. They need to get some guys back,
Like I know Milano is still like at Oliver, like
those are two key pieces, and so that's something that
I want to see with this particular matchmen. The Falbans
are coming off a bye week, so you think if
they're ever like prepared offensively to kind of influence some
(28:13):
new schemes. I mean, you know, you can run the
ball on the Bills. They give up a ton of
expulsive plays. And who's the best player on the Falcons
b John Robinson, Like, it's not rocket science.
Speaker 3 (28:22):
Since I get this.
Speaker 2 (28:23):
Guy on the ball, they can score points. So I
think my lem is actually probably towards the Falcons at home,
just catching catching points.
Speaker 1 (28:30):
Okay, let's go to our last game of the week. Here,
the Chicago Bears three, excuse me, the Chicago Bears two
and two coming off the bye and then the Washington
Commanders coming off of victory with Jaydon Daniels returning from
action there a little bit of a knee injury kept
him out the week before four and a half Washington
at home five and a half Chicago Bears plus five
(28:52):
sign here foty nine and a half of the over,
fifty and a half of the under, plus two hundred
for of the Bears on the upset. Do you see
any early value you in this Monday night contest?
Speaker 3 (29:02):
Am I crazy for liking the Bears off the bike.
Speaker 1 (29:04):
Now, not with the court, not not on the not
to win outright, maybe, but I think the points. Maybe
it's fun too because we got the Sunday night game
with Detroit and Kansas City, which is a really good one,
and then two Monday night games. I think, Well should
be entertaining, Buffalo Atlanta should be entertaining, and I think
this Chicago one might be more entertaining as well. With
the Commanders.
Speaker 2 (29:23):
Well, it's a rematch of the that Hail Mary game
from last year, all right, yeah, yeah, I mean the
Bears should have won that game, but they didn't win
that game, so I think that's something that they remember
against the Commanders, and then like that was like the
turning point for both teams, like that after that game,
the Bears just like nos die the rest of the season,
and then the Commanders kind of like rose up made
(29:44):
their playoff run all the way to the championship game.
So I think that this is someone that the Bears
have been circling, like, hey, like this has been match
for us coming off the bye week, I think that
we're going to see a lot more of the rookies,
Colston Lovelin, Luther Burden as Ben Johnson has been able
to really get in the lab with some of his
player that he hand picked for this team offensively, So
I expect good things offensively from the Bears here. So
(30:05):
I think they can keep it close.
Speaker 1 (30:07):
Yeah, I think some individuals there. I want romadoonze Overs.
I want to see what the Kyle man Ang Gai
numbers are too coming out. It might be really low
and you might see a little bit more action of him.
Speaker 3 (30:16):
That would be really.
Speaker 1 (30:16):
Interesting to see potentially, Like what does this team look
like coming out of the pie is fascinating because if
they come out and they lay a turd here against
the Washington Commanders, I think that's going to say a
lot about where the direction of things are going. But
if they come out and they're competitive, I think if
you're Ben Johnson and the Bears, you say, Okay, we're
starting to turn the corner here a little bit. So
definitely interesting to watch. Keep an eye on it, and
