Speaker 1 (00:05):
I'm Heathery Brow, I'm Terry de Brow, and we're going
to keep this between us, but not really, No, not really,
And this is a little bonus episode.
Speaker 2 (00:13):
Well what's the bonus part?
Speaker 3 (00:15):
Okay, it's bonuses. You get to spend ten minutes with me.
Here we go.
Speaker 1 (00:18):
Okay, a lot of chatter about the reunion dresses.
Speaker 2 (00:24):
Wow, reunion dresses.
Speaker 3 (00:26):
Yes, and you're gonna love this. And I'm going to
tell you why.
Speaker 1 (00:28):
Okay, do you know how much? Do you know how
much my reunion dresses usually cost?
Speaker 2 (00:33):
Ten thousand dollars?
Speaker 1 (00:34):
No, twenty thousand. Do you know how much a container
of milk costs?
Speaker 2 (00:38):
How much does it dress a channel cost? Typically? It
depends your.
Speaker 3 (00:44):
Listen, you could buy it, it depends.
Speaker 1 (00:46):
Well, you could buy a dress for twenty five hundred
dollars or you could buy a dress for twenty five
thousand dollars.
Speaker 2 (00:50):
Okay, so it takes places. I got to tell you.
Speaker 3 (00:53):
Typically, let go dress for the reunion ten grand. No,
I would.
Speaker 1 (00:57):
Probably spend somewhere between and thread to seven thousand dollars
on the dress.
Speaker 2 (01:03):
And it's from one of those designers usually.
Speaker 3 (01:05):
Yes, Okay, Now ask me what I spent this year.
Speaker 2 (01:09):
Oh honey, what'd you spend this year?
Speaker 3 (01:10):
Fifty nine dollars and ninety nine cents.
Speaker 2 (01:13):
This is going to be my favorite dress. I told
you I love it already.
Speaker 4 (01:16):
I love it, I know, and I think you should
like that should be your budget from now on.
Speaker 1 (01:21):
All right, I'm actually recording this before it's being revealed,
So I'm just going to tell you my thought process
behind the whole thing, because I'm curious to see whether
people love it or they don't love it. I was
given a mood board of colors and styles and whatever,
and I looked and I really just did not find
anything that I loved. So I went on Amazon and
(01:42):
I had told you this, and I ordered a bunch
of dresses and I tried them on. In this particular dress,
I was obsessed with the color. It was really beautiful burgundy,
saturated color. I really like the neckline. I could wear
a normal bra. It's nine out of ten times I'm
wearing a strapless bra, and after hour two and a
half it's halfway down my chest to my nipple and
(02:04):
I've got a double bubble or I have to wear
some crazy spanks that I just wanted to be comfortable
and so I tried this dress out and I was like, what,
it's a great color. I can wear regular bra. This
looks terrific. Why do I need to spend fortune? I
can't find something I like in anything I found that
was designer.
Speaker 3 (02:23):
Honestly, didn't look any better.
Speaker 2 (02:25):
Did Network approve it?
Speaker 3 (02:26):
And they approved it? They loved it, They thought it
was great.
Speaker 2 (02:28):
And did you tell anybody how much it costs?
Speaker 1 (02:31):
So I didn't until after the reunion was over and
we were all at dinner, I said, I got it.
I think I told Emily beforehand, But I did hear
some rumblings that someone may have said that my dress
was cheap, which you know, listen to me, It's all
in the wearing of it, Like I love a Zara
dress with a Chanelle belt.
Speaker 4 (02:49):
Let's be honest. Dresses are a lot like red wine.
You could have the most expensive red wine, you could
have a red wine that's moderately expensive. You could have
a cheap red wine. You could have red wine from.
Speaker 2 (03:01):
To chuck Chuck with dirt thrown into it.
Speaker 4 (03:04):
And then you get a bunch of people to try it,
and everybody thinks the one.
Speaker 3 (03:08):
With everyone will have a different opinion.
Speaker 4 (03:10):
And a lot of people will pick the two buck
chuck one and because it's sweeter, because it's more mean.
But if you tell people then they go, oh no,
they instantly won't like it. They didn't see it through
the lens of being inexpensive. So people who see your
dress and they know that it's inexpensive, they're going to
criticize it.
Speaker 3 (03:30):
Well, I mean, and they can.
Speaker 1 (03:32):
But for me, it's like I could have chosen anything,
but that was the dress I liked, right, and so
that's the dress I chose.
Speaker 4 (03:40):
I heard or an article where some bloggers were talking
about housewife blogger type people. We're talking about the looks
that they saw or heard about on the reunion, and
they were mentioning, without referring to anybody particularly, well, there
was one.
Speaker 2 (03:59):
Person you thought looked cheap, You thought looked cheap, right.
Speaker 3 (04:02):
And I know who exactly told that person. I'm very
well aware.
Speaker 4 (04:06):
I was told, oh, yes, ether Debruh was wearing any
expensive dress.
Speaker 3 (04:10):
But I don't care.
Speaker 1 (04:11):
You know what I listen, I could have spent ten
thousand dollars on a dress, but that was the dress
I like. I thought it looked great. The only thing
I wish I had done to it is. I wish
I had had the side of it just tailored a
little bit and the rushing tucked down, and I think
that would have made it look better. But listen, my
whole thing is, do I spend a fortune on some things?
Speaker 3 (04:32):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (04:32):
Do I also buy things at Zara, Yes I do,
and at H and M and all kinds of places.
Speaker 3 (04:39):
I like a collective thing.
Speaker 1 (04:40):
Just because things are inexpensive doesn't mean they're not good.
Speaker 2 (04:45):
Okay, we'll be honest. I've never heard the word rushing before,
so I must know what is a rushing.
Speaker 1 (04:50):
Rushing Rushing is like gathered rushing. Yeah, thank you for asking. Anyway,
I was super happy with the look and the way
it came together, And honestly, I had owned those are shoes,
I owned. All the jewelry was my own. I didn't
borrow anything. Scott King did my hair. I loved it, actually,
Bellow did my makeup.
Speaker 3 (05:10):
I thought the look was very sort of classic heather.
Speaker 2 (05:13):
Yeah, oh you look beautiful.
Speaker 3 (05:15):
Thanks, And I honestly I thought everyone looked good.
Speaker 4 (05:18):
I'd like to see those people who who will criticize
you because they'll say it's not a good looking dress
because they know it's inexpensive. If they could take a
dress expence test to have, you know, ten thousands, it's like.
Speaker 1 (05:30):
When they hold up the real burke In to the
fake Burkeen, can you tell you.
Speaker 4 (05:34):
Know they would have there'd be no correlation between the
costs of the dress and how much they liked it.
Speaker 1 (05:47):
But here's the other thing, And we talked about this,
I think a few weeks ago, about dresses, about how
everyone needs to look cohesive sitting on the couches, right.
So I do understand why there's a look and a
mood board, there's a set to look good together. I
get it, but it's hard to pull the trigger on
spending so much money out a dress. You're only wearing
ones and you know that maybe isn't something like what
(06:09):
you want because something like the reunion where it's so
photographed and so typically that's not true of all of
my dresses, to be honest with you, I've worn many
of them multiple times. But like that's like Bravo Con also,
so you go to Bravocan and you're there for three
full days or nights.
Speaker 3 (06:29):
That's a lot of outfits.
Speaker 1 (06:30):
And you know you want to be impactful that's a
lot of money to spend on all those clothes.
Speaker 4 (06:37):
So are some of the dresses you're gonna wear Bravo
con fifty nine dollars dresses?
Speaker 1 (06:40):
No, I didn't buy that, but I did, like, I
bought these two really pretty sparkly dresses from this company
called Meshki, not sponsored but cool company, right, and I
think they were like two hundred dollars.
Speaker 2 (06:55):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (06:55):
You've got a racket home with I think potential Bravocon
dresses and it looks like, you know, Bouton threw up
on it or something.
Speaker 1 (07:01):
I means, listen, during the day, I have a Louive suit.
I have a Fendi dress that's Loueve. It's a designer.
Speaker 2 (07:09):
Louive Oh, that's not louvton No, And.
Speaker 1 (07:11):
There's a Louis Uton thing that there's definitely designer. I
did pull designer stuff per day.
Speaker 3 (07:16):
But for the night time.
Speaker 1 (07:17):
Oh, I have one Louis Uton dress to night. But
then I also sounds nice, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (07:21):
You like that one's coo.
Speaker 3 (07:22):
And then but which was that one but that I've
worn already?
Speaker 2 (07:25):
That's a gorget? How much is that Louis Vuitton dress?
Remember that is gorgeous.
Speaker 3 (07:29):
I don't remember.
Speaker 1 (07:30):
That's a pretty dress, so I'll probably wear that one
for one of the evenings. And then I bought these
other dresses that were like two hundred dollars. I just
feel like, you know, you can't spend thirty grand on
clothes for Bravo Con.
Speaker 3 (07:42):
That's crazy.
Speaker 2 (07:43):
Are you looking forward to bravocn im?
Speaker 3 (07:45):
I like bravocan, are you.
Speaker 2 (07:47):
Well, Bravo Con for me is interesting.
Speaker 3 (07:49):
Oh, it's your super Bowl. Let's just be honest.
Speaker 4 (07:51):
Well, no, because I don't have any responsibility except to
hold your perse.
Speaker 3 (07:55):
Occasually drinks and meets the fans.
Speaker 4 (07:59):
Yeah, so they it's funny because they'll put you guys
behind a curtain and then you know, parse you out
at the appropriate time, and then you know it's more
of like a performative. Okay, And now behind this curtain
is all of a sudden, it's Tamra Judge, here's Heather
dubro and all these famous superstar housewives. But I'm cruising
(08:20):
around and creating quite a stir myself.
Speaker 2 (08:24):
I might I think I've.
Speaker 3 (08:25):
Told this story, but I will be at the meet
and green.
Speaker 1 (08:28):
There's a long line of people waiting and While they're
on the line, they.
Speaker 3 (08:32):
Get a two fer Terry walks up.
Speaker 1 (08:35):
And down the line, taking selfies, taking selfies with everyone.
He is fully talking everyone, he's doing consults. He is
like living his best life. He loves Bravo Con.
Speaker 3 (08:47):
I'll tell you what else I like about Bravo Con. Yeah,
I like the backstage area.
Speaker 1 (08:51):
It's really interesting because when you're backstage, first of all,
everyone from the NBC Universal world is there.
Speaker 3 (08:57):
Oh, I know all the executives.
Speaker 1 (08:58):
And these are people that have been our life for
like almost fifteen years, so you know, you know on them.
Speaker 3 (09:05):
A long time. It's kind of fun to be backstage.
Speaker 1 (09:07):
You run into producers and executives and casting people and
other housewives from other cities, and we're all like sorority sisters,
and it's I mean, it's really nice.
Speaker 4 (09:18):
I always wonder it must be weird for people. I mean,
I don't you know. Tamra has a gigantic podcast and
it's very very popular, but they make comments about other shows,
so it's like, oh hi, and so I can't even imagine,
you know, because I once to the whall, I'll see
a clipped scene of something they're saying, and they're talking
(09:39):
about this one show and they're being a little judgy
and funny and whatever they do. I can't imagine someone
like Tamra and Teddy walking around Bravocan because they've probably
made harsh comments about a third of the people there.
You know, it must be weird for them.
Speaker 3 (09:54):
Well, those two are good for the job.
Speaker 4 (09:56):
It'd be like walking around, you know, backstage at Ucilly
Football when you're a usc football player.
Speaker 2 (10:02):
It's like, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (10:04):
It is fun, though. The only bad thing is usually
they only have prosecco. Have you seen any of those
memes lately where there's like a guy driving by in
his mopet and he grabs a woman's drink as she's
sitting at a cafe and she's like, and then he
drives backwards and he goes, oh, prosecco.
Speaker 4 (10:20):
I have seen some of that. I, by the way,
I do like Bravo Khank because it's the fans are
so sweet and so nice, and you know, interacting with
them is a blast. Okay, But I love the other
house husbands. I love them all.
Speaker 3 (10:33):
You love Joey Gorga.
Speaker 2 (10:34):
I love Joe Gorga.
Speaker 4 (10:35):
Joe Gorga, there's something he is so crazy love each other.
Joe Gorga is so crazy charismatic. I just he's just
I love Melissa the first some of my men am
I go, oh my god, this guy's like could be.
Speaker 2 (10:48):
My best friend right now.
Speaker 3 (10:49):
Who else?
Speaker 1 (10:50):
She?
Speaker 4 (10:50):
And Melissa is so nice, so I love I love
Abe Yes and Aaron Leech He I love Abe. He's amazing,
great guy.
Speaker 2 (11:02):
By the way. You know, I really liked all the
New Jersey House husbands.
Speaker 3 (11:05):
Yes, which is so.
Speaker 1 (11:08):
Not on brand for you. I never would have thought
that ever. Cracked me up.
Speaker 3 (11:14):
Yeah, you like it.
Speaker 4 (11:15):
They're all so charismatic. My most common thing is so
what you were you on? Because you know, I don't know.
Speaker 3 (11:20):
Well, here's what's crazy.
Speaker 4 (11:21):
Like.
Speaker 3 (11:21):
I don't watch a lot of reality.
Speaker 2 (11:25):
TV, so it's kind of embarrassing not to.
Speaker 1 (11:27):
Especially the younger kids, like on the summer houses and
the things I have, I don't know who anyone is. Yeah,
and I always feel so bad, But you know, you're
just nice to everyone. Everyone's like so cute, nice and
it's really fun. I will tell you. The only thing
that I don't like about Bravo con is you know,
you want to give someone a moment to have a conversation,
(11:50):
and especially with us like out in the world when
we're walking around, especially on this trip in particular, we
had a lot of people come up to us and
say some really beautiful, full, kind of heavy stuff about
our family and their families and parenting and and so
when you're at Bravo Con, people they have to get
people through and so you don't really get a ton
(12:13):
of time.
Speaker 4 (12:13):
But I.
Speaker 3 (12:16):
Is going to spend so much time with all of you.
Speaker 2 (12:18):
So that's I'm like the warm up act in the audience.
Speaker 3 (12:21):
That's exactly right.
Speaker 2 (12:22):
Yeah, it's good, it's it's it's good. Yeah, it's fun,
it's good. I enjoy it.
Speaker 1 (12:27):
So so Bravocon coming up very soon, very excited about it.
Speaker 3 (12:31):
We'll see you all in Vegas.
