arrest in California over ice detention protests. A New York
City mayoral candidate is arrested by federal agents during an
immigration hearing. A Democratic senator is recounting his experience last
week when he was forcibly removed from a DHS briefing.

The popular social media app TikTok is counting down to
its newest deadline. According to the White House, the President
plans to sign an executive order this week to keep
TikTok up and running. The President spoke about his willingness
to work with TikTok earlier this year with NBC News.

No Republican ever won young people, and I won it
by thirty six points, and I focused on TikTok. So
perhaps I shouldn't say this, but I have a little
warm spot in my heart for TikTok.

The majority black area of Humphreys County, Mississippi, is under
a ninety day curfew. It comes as county officials say
there's been an uptick and gun violence. Humphreys County Sheriff
says bars and restaurants have to close between mid night
in six am. Dallas officials are under fire from commuters
after allowing Black Country star Shaboozi to shut down traffic
on a bridge to shoot a music video. Now, just

Los Angeles prosecutors are announcing a new round of charges
against alleged violent protesters during anti ice demonstrations. LA County
DA Nathan Hoffman said the sasmacs are accused of assaulting police,
launching fireworks at them, and setting patrol cars on fire.

These are people for whom the protests was a cover
they weren't interested in protesting, he said.

Tips and video evidence are leading them to those who
committed crimes. A Democratic candidate for New York City mayor
has been arrested by federal agents at an immigration hearing.

York City Controller and mayoral candidate Brad Lander is under
arrest for allegedly obstructing an immigration hearing in Manhattan. Prior

to his arrest, Lander shouted to ice agents to show
him their warrants and badges as they were taking an
immigrant into custaday. Democratic Senator from California, Alex Padilla says
he was aggressively removed from a Homeland Security press event.

Last week, the Democrat approached to Homeland Chief Christy Nome,
shouting questions about the LA immigration operations before agents tackled
and handcuffed him. Yesterday, on the Senate floor, Padilla choked
up while recounting the confrontation at the Nome event, saying
he approached Nome after she said she wanted to liberate
Los Angeles from the mayor and governor. Improved security measures

are a top priority among lawmakers after a gunman disguised
as a police officer fatally shot Democratic State Representative Melissa
Hortman and her husband at their Minnesota home. The gunman
also wounded Democratic State Senator John Hoffman and his wife.
The aspect, n Spelter, is in custody and could face
the death penalty if convicted. Authority say his manifesto listed

the names of several politicians, including Wisconsin's black Democratic Representative
Gwen Moore. Lawmakers aren't suggesting additional financial appropriations for members safety.

millions of Americans who rely on Medicaid and food stamps.
House Speaker Mike Johnson thinks it is brilliant linking federal
aid in exchange for work. New Jersey's black Senator Corey Booker.

They're going to try to push through a bill that's
going to gut eight hundred and eighty billion dollars from Medicaid.
They're going to try to put forward to a bill
that's going to give tax cuts to the wealthiest of
our country disproportionately trillions of dollars. It's outrageous and we
have got to try to stop them.

The bill streamlines regulations and healthy adults up to age
sixty four without dependents must prove their working. Millions of
low income people would need to show their employed, volunteering
or enrolled in school to qualify for health care or
