the country moving in the wrong direction? Former President Obama
is weighing in. LA's mayor isn't happy about additional National
Guard troops deployed to the city. A black former employee
at a popular hardware store is filing a million dollar
racial discrimination lawsuit. But first, here's bin News now.

Chicago's black mayor, Brandon Johnson, isn't backing down against threats
at President Trump will target his city with militarized immigration enforcement.

call the National Guard into federal service when the US
is under invasion. California Governor Gavin Newsom says the action
is really just political theater created by President Trump that
is diverting soldiers from critical wildfire work. A black former

employee of an ACE hardware store in Arlington, Texas, has
filed a million dollar lawsuit against the company. Devondrick Hartsfield
is alleging racial discrimination and says he was terminated after
reporting that his white manager hung a black back pack
from a noose in the warehouse on Juneteenth back in
twenty twenty three. Hartsfield took pictures of it, which he

later included with a report to the store's human resources department.
After filing a discrimination complaint, human resources representatives told Hartsfield
there would be an investigation, but he was later suspended
indefinitely without pay. Hartsfield's position was later filled by a
non black worker. Heavy fighting in Sudan continues as a

direct result of the continued flow of arms into the country.
The Independent International fact Fighting Mission for the Sudan says
that means the war won't be ending anytime soon. The
organization is emphasizing a spike in the use of heavy
weaponry in populated areas and an increase in sexual violence.
Humanitarian relief is being weaponized and hospitals are under siege,

according to investigators whose mandate was established by the Human
Rights Council about two years ago. In al Fascier, civilians
have been a song, alted, detained, and killed, while villages
are being burned and looted by the rapid support forces paramilitary.
