The five soldiers shot at Fort Stewart in Georgia are
all in stable condition and recovering. That's according to Brigadier
General John Lubis, who said the alleged gunman was Black
Sergeant Cornelius Radford, who was stationed at the base.

Sergeant Radford has been interviewed by the Army Criminal Investigation
Division and is currently in pre trial confinement awaiting a
charging decision by the Office of the Special Trial Council.

Twenty eight year old Radford has not been in combat.
Lubis said the soldiers were able to subdue the suspect.
Radford is believed to have used his personal handgun in
the shooting, not an army issued weapon. Authorities are investigating
a bomb threat at a Saint Charles, Illinois hotel where
Texas Democrats are staying. Police say hundreds of people were

of neighbors approached her about the idea two years ago.
