leaders are pushing back as the Trump administration teuts its
plan to use end federal troops to US cities almost
two weeks without a murder in Washington, DC. Chicago's mayor
is requesting funding for violence prevention, but first, here's bin news.

Now, President Trump is threatening to send troops to Baltimore,
calling black Governor West Moore's crime record very bad. More
fired back. It would be great if the President would
actually come and spend time and learn about what we
are doing instead of just throwing jobs and me in
jobs at the city of Baltimore. Governor Moore says Baltimore
seeing a resurgence and that real progress is being made

driver from Tennessee dead. Former police Lieutenant Christopher Bradshaw, who
is white, has been arrested and charged with homicide by

NBA star of the Boston Celtics, Jaalen Brown was arrested
for attempted murder after a lit dgetly stabbing youth coach

President Trump is ordering the Defense Department to create National
Guard units specifically trained to deal with public order issues.
Yesterday's executive order comes as the President continues to float
the idea of using the military to enforce law and
order in American cities. One of those mentioned is Baltimore,
where black Mayor Brandon Scott says it's clear why the

administration is targeting certain places and not.

Others because their city is run by Democrats and because
quite frankly, they have a lot of black people in them.

Scott says, they're not opposed to help, they just need
resources in the right places.

We want additional agents for our FBI, HTFDA to work
alongside our police officers on their predetermined things that they
do every day, which they sign up to do. And
let's go after people who are t afing guns, drugs,
and with doing violence in our city.

Trump has already sent some two thousand Guard members to Washington. DC.
Defense Secretary Pete Hagsath recently authorized service members to carry
weapons while patrolling the streets of the nation's capital. It's
been almost two weeks since there's been a murder in
DC after the federal troop deployment. Black Mayor Muriel Bowser
has been opposed to the action.

For people who are anxious and afraid. I'm sorry that
this is happening, but the change that needs to happen
is with comprehensive immigration reform in leadership at the national level.

DC police telling the Washington Post in March that the
nation's capital went sixteen days without a murder, calling it
the longest period in at least six years. The police
union says compared to the fourteen days prior to the
federal control, robbery has dropped forty two percent and violent
crime is down by a quarter. Meanwhile, state and local

leaders in Illinois are telling President Trump to keep the
National Guard out of Chicago. Democratic Governor J. B. Pritzker
says there's no reason for Trump to send troops to
the city to find crime, calling the move unconstitutional. And Unamerican.
The city's black mayor, Brandon Johnson, is asking the administration
to provide more funding for violence prevention. Pritzker, Johnson and

Illinois's black Attorney General Quame Raoul are exploring all legal
options should Trump call up the guard. A black woman
from Boston, Massachusetts, wants justice after staff members at her
local YMCA called police when she refused to relinquish her
seat to a white woman during a fitness class. The
Atlanta Black Star reports the alleged discrimination against seventy two

year old Maria Spooner at the South Boston YMCA occurred
earlier this month when she arrived for the exercise class
and claimed a front row seat. Spooner says a white
woman then entered the room and requested that same seat,
but Spooner refused to move. She streamed the encounter on
Facebook Live, where the white woman could be seen sticking

out her tongue and saying, I don't give an explative.
The instructor reportedly claimed the woman had been sitting in
