All right, thank you. After a deadly Labor Day weekend
in Chicago, Illinois Governor J. B. Pritz Grand Mayor Brandon Johnson,
who is black, will meet in less than an hour
to respond to reports that federal troops may be sent
to the Windy City. The White House is pushing for
the surge, citing crime in black communities and immigration concerns,
and after last year's National Guard presence at the Democratic

National Convention. US attorney for DC, Janet Pierro was calling
out the hypocrisy and set on Fox News earlier today.

Yeah, you know, the irony is so rich here. The
truth is that these people are about ideology and power.
They should sit with the families of homicide victims. They
should talk to the mothers who don't know if their
sons are coming home tonight because of the gunfire. That
is pervasion. Only President Trump cares about these people. Only
President Trump is the one who's willing to put the resources,

the energy, and yes, he has a determination to make
this work. And it is working. I'll tell you last night,
my prosecutors told me that it was the first time
they didn't have a felon in possession. What does that
tell you?

Both Mayor Johnson and Governor Pritzker are calling for more
government resources, but are rejecting federal boots on the ground
mean While Third Baptist Church in San Francisco hosted a
summit with hundreds of black leaders from across the US
and Africa or the UN's International Day for People of
African Descent. Former pastor and civil rights icon Reverend doctor
Amos Brown kicked off the event addressing concerns about today's

This is not the first time that we've had these hellish, horrifying,

Oakland Mayor Africa American Barbara Lee also spoke on Trump
threatening to deploy the National Guard to her city.

Discussions also took place focusing on black participation in big
events coming to the Bay Area, such as the Super
Bowl and the World Cup. Community leaders like Jordan Nicholson
Smith laid out plans to use the events as platforms
to promote black owned business and tourism to African nations.
And finally, Wendy Williams most likely won't be returning to
Daytime television anytime soon, but she is in talks about

hosting a national speaking tour to expose what she calls
the abuse of the guardianship system after being placed under
court control in twenty twenty two. The former radio superstar
personality turned TV Daytime mega hosts says she's seen firsthand
how people, especially black, elderly folk and public figures, can
lose their rights if there's no word on any dates
