As President Trump quietly backing away from supporting Ukraine, Well
that's what some lawmakers, including Representative African American Gregory Meeks,
who's a ranking member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, believe.
He says, Trump's latest comment made on Ukraine yesterday is
just lip service. Trump mentioned that he believes Ukraine, with
support from NATO and the EU, can fight and win.
Speaker 5 (01:43):
Look, it's to me, a lot of empty words. The
key thing it seemed to me he's throwing his hands up.
He's saying that Ukraine can win with our European allies.
He's not saying that the United States is going to
stand with Ukraine. He's not saying he's going to come
to Congress and ask Congress for the appropriate appropriations.
Speaker 2 (02:04):
Meeks, like other foreign policy experts, say Trump has a
track record of praising Russian President Putin and his somewhat
wavering support of NATO have raised questions about where he
really stands. Meanwhile, and Bin follow up We're Sadity report
that the thirteen year old African American Queen's New York
boy who was shot in the head while walking to
school is dead.
Speaker 1 (02:24):
Sonya Samuel was in a coma and couldn't pull through.
Speaker 2 (02:27):
The shooting happened Monday morning around eight thirty am outside
of a Dunkin Donuts or Lyndon Boulevard while he was
walking to school. No arrests have been made in so far.
Police have no motives, just a backpack that may have
belonged to the shooter. His mother recalls the last word
she said to him when he left the house that morning.
She said, I love you, and later got a call
that her son had passed.
Speaker 1 (02:49):
I lose my little son.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
Sanji family says he was doing everything right and it
is still gone, they are donating his organs to help others,
but are demanding justice. And finally, Stephen Miller, a longtime
Trump advisor, called the Democratic Party a domestic extremist organization.
The comment is barked backlash across a political spectrum, but
one of the strongest responses came today from Dallas mayor
(03:23):
African American Eric Johnson, who appeared on CNN.
Speaker 6 (03:26):
I think there's one party, the Republican Party, that has
consistently not stood for law and order and has not
supported law enforcement. The Democrat Party has decided that, in
an effort to gain greater support from certain activist groups,
that they are going to try to paint law enforcement
as a threat to the safety of our citizens in
this country, and same with ICE. And that is not
(03:49):
consistent with being a party of law and order and
as being a nation of laws, and I left the
party over.
Speaker 2 (03:55):
At Johnson continued, calling the remarks irresponsible and out of
touch with the lived exs experiences of everyday Americans. Reports
surfaced that the shellcasings from the person who killed the
two ICE detainees Wednesday had the words anti ICE written
on them, Stay informed, stay connected, and subscribed follow Bin News,
