FBI director James Comy taking to social media to respond
after his indictment. Yesterday, President Trump lashing out with insults
targeting two black congress women. New York's mayor says a
bribe never but first, here's BIA News Now.

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson is blasting President Trump over the
indictment of former FBI director James Comy. The black man
said the indictment is further proof that the President is
using the government to go after his political enemies.

I really want to call him a name, but my
Lord and Savior Jesus crisis asking me to just stay saved.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
Official say. The gunman and the deadly shooting out of
Dallas Ice facility said he wanted to quote maximize lethality
and quote against Ice agents. The acting US Attorney for
North Texas says a no found that the resident of
the suspected gunman said he wanted to cause terror for agents.
Netflix will will portedly be the home for MLB's Opening
Day game next year, for many fans, including black fans,

Former FBI director James Comey is defiant after he was
indicted yesterday. In a video posted on social media, Comey
said he's innocent and his family will not live on
their knees. My family and I have known for years
that there are costs to standing up to Donald Trump,
but we couldn't imagine ourselves living any other way. Comy
has been charged with account of making false statements and

one count of obstruction of justice. President Trump praising the indictment.

They did terrible things at the FBI, but I don't know.
I have no idea what's.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
Going to happen. The charges are related to testimony Comy
gave before Congress on his handling of the investigation into
the twenty sixteen presidential election involving Russian interference. Comy went
on to say his heart is broken for the Department
of Justice, but he's confident in the federal judicial system.
Onto other subjects of the President's personal disdain in the

Oval office, yesterday, he lashed out when discussing black US
congress women Jasmine Crockett and Ilhan Omar, calling Crockett a
very low IQ person and suggesting she should not be
in Congress. Trump also mispronounced Omar's name and made derogatory
remarks about her. Attacks on black female politicians come amid
a rise in racist and sexist rhetoric in politics, with

Trump ally Laura Lumer also targeting Crockett. Congressional Black hawk
Is chairwoman Evet Clark condemning the remarks, stating that the
administration has made it open season on black people. New
York City's black mayor Eric Adams says he has not
been bribed to drop out of the mayoral race. No
one has not offered even money to leave the race,

It comes as Republican nominee Curtis Leewa alleges former Governor
Andrew Cuomo has offered Adams money to leave the four
way race. Every major poll shows Adams trailing the candidates,
with Democratic nominee Zoron Mamdani leading the pack, Cuomo coming
in second, and Sliwa polling third. Meanwhile, Adams says his
reelection bid has been thwarted because he isn't receiving matching

campaign funds that help him reach voters. A massive cholera
vaccination launch in darfour this week, targeting about two million
people across six localities. This as cholera is spreading quickly
to the tune of over twelve thousand cases and more
than three hundred deaths reported in darfour alone since May.
The World Health Organization has teams on the ground transporting

supplies and monitoring progress. Cholera develops in contaminated water and
unsanitary conditions. Vaccines, clean water, and fast effective treatment are
important factors in stopping the spread. The ten day campaign
is expected to reach most of the population in those
areas impacted to safeguard lives and restore hope in Sudan's
