federal judge tossing the criminal indictments against former FBI director
James Comy and New York's Attorney General Letitia James. Minnesota,
Somali communities on edge azz deportation protections are grinding to

Former FBI Director James Comy and New York's Black Attorney
General Letitia James are reacting to the news that their
federal cases are being tossed.

system which has been weaponized.

James spoke out last month after pleading not guilty to
federal mortgage fraud charges. She issued a statement saying she's
hardened by the victory and once again called the charges spaceless.
Comy releasing a video saying President Trump cannot use the
Justice Department to target his political enemies. James was indicted
for alleged mortgage fraud and Comy was indicted for a
leggedly lying to Congress about the Trump Russia investigation, both

claiming the appointment of Trump's former personal lawyer, Lindsay Helligan,
as US Attorney for the Eastern District, was unlawful. The
Justice Department is expected to appeal. Minnesota Somali community is
on alurch after President Trump announced an end to deportation protections.
The president posting on truth social on Friday that he
was terminating, effective immediately, the Temporary Protected Status for Somali's

in Minnesota. Homeland Security Secretary Christynome weighing in on the
plan over the weekend from the Minneapolis Saint Paul International Airport.
There is a timeline, as said under statute, that every
single country's TPS program gets evaluated on. According to the
State Department of Health, over twenty six thousand Somali refugees
have settled in Minnesota since the early nineteen nineties. While

most are US citizens or lawful residents, the fear among
those in the TPS program is that they may be
sent back to a lawless country where the terrorist group
Al Shabab remains active and the Somali government is unable
to provide adequate protection.
