could flip rural Americas. As Kentucky Governor Andy Basheer, he
knows that many Americans, especially Black Americans, live in rural communities.
Basher is a moderate Democrat with two state wide wins.
He says while speaking to CNN that Democrats should be
talking clearly with conviction to these voters about the pressure

on their wallets thanks to President Trump's policies.

I spent this last year trying to speak reason into chaos,
being a common sense, common ground, get things done type
of voice for the Democratic Party, but hopefully for America.
We are going to change the map when we win
some governor's elections that no one is expecting.

There's rumors that Basher may run for president in twenty
twenty eight.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
I'll sit down with my family and we'll see. That's
most important to me is that my kids get the
type of country that I grew up in, one that
is stable, one that doesn't have a constant us versus them.
We need to not only win this next presidential election,
but we need to heal this country.

Republicans are on board, despite sharp criticism from some of

A lot of the reforms that members are talking about
is around low premium plans, low deductible plans that actually
still provide access to basic health care. If there's going
to be some arrangements on short term subsidies, you have
to rework the regulatory framework of Obamacare. What it has
done is created these massive Cadillac health insurance plans that.

Are unaffordable, and if lawmakers can't come up with an agreement,
these very same Americans won't be able to afford healthcare
period as premiums are expected to double even triple by
the start of the new year. And finally, millions of
US know about African American Keith Lee as a leading
food influencer, but he always keeps it one hundred and
reeal by lifting up local black businesses and the communities

they serve. And for the Thanksgiving holiday, Lee also partnered
with Mini's Food Pantry in North Texas to help feed
over four thousand families during their largest Thanksgiving giveaway to date.
Lee donated thousands of dollars in turkeys and spent the
day volunteering on site. As the popular food influencer prepares
for Thanksgiving with his family, Lee is hinting at upcoming
projects and will continue to celebrate community connections and local businesses.
