until black dollars get their respect it deserves. It makes
a fresh new call for black shoppers who plan to
spend money this Thanksgiving weekend. Plus, Ukraine and Russia may
have a peace deal soon, but the battle over land
is fierce, with the war torn country standing firm. And
Black Republican Byron Donald says Obamacare isn't the answer, but
millions still need affordable health care coverage. But first, here's

using a five million dollar COVID relief overpayment to fund
her twenty twenty one campaign.
Speaker 4 (00:39):
DOJ decided to indict a black Democratic congresswoman without giving
her attorneys the opportunity to meet with them. And I think,
if there's anything that we have learned in recent times,
this government is willing to charge and indict and arrest
somebody without actual evidence.
Speaker 3 (00:55):
Prosecutors point to text messages and checks as evidence. Pennsylvania,
even Josh Shapiro has signed the Crown Act, banning discrimination
based on hair texture and style. The new law, led
by black lawmakers, protects residents from race based hair discrimination
and is seen as a major step for equality and inclusion.
And Maryland's black Attorney General, Anthony Brown, and other Attorneys
General secure to deal with the Department of Justice to
(01:17):
block rules that would deny crime victim services to undocumented immigrants.

and domestic violence can access support, no matter their immigration status.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
All right, thank you, good afternoon, and happy Tuesday. While
nearly four years of war could end soon, but talks
about territory is challenging. Following recent negotiations Ukraine and Russia
with mediation from the US from portally have led to
a basic framework for peace, but some critical details, including
Ukraine giving up land some are already under control by Russian forces,
remain unresolved. Ukrainian lawmaker Helen Nanchenko spoke about the key
(01:54):
hurdle to CNN.
Speaker 5 (01:55):
I believe it's a shame because we are not talking
about you know, m chill and we are actually talking
about settlements, about cities and villages with families living in
their homes there after. Butcha after the whole world have
seen what Russia occupation is doing to Ukrainian civilians. They're
murdering people there, torturing people there, kidnapping kids and sending
(02:19):
them to Russia, basically stealing them from their families. We
don't want this kind of atrocities to continue.
Speaker 1 (02:24):
Ukraine to post the original US back plan that called
for handing over land to Russia, which led to changes
in the recent proposal. President Zelinsky is expected to travel
to DC soon to work on finalizing the potential peace agreement. Meanwhile,
Reverend Jamob Bryant's target past is a modern day civil
rights fight for respect. Since launching the boycott against the
Big Red Dot retailer for cutting its DEI efforts, Brian
(02:46):
Hasn't continued to mobilize thousands of black consumers like never before.
He recently spoke about the updated effort on Rolling Martins
Unfiltered Daily digital show and how it has been the
most impactful boycott since the Montgomery bus boycott, shining a
light on the power of black dollars in the marketplace.
Speaker 2 (03:01):
Were press in all gas, no brakes, and so in
the fourth quarter of the years where companies try to
turn around, it's called Black Friday because companies are trying
to get out of the red. We've got over two
trillion dollars worth of spending power, but we've not done
it in a targeted way, no pun intended. So this
weekend we're asking people significantly not to go to home Depot,
(03:25):
not to go to Target, not to go to Amazon,
but to spend expressly with black business.
Speaker 1 (03:31):
Target sales have faltered. He says black consumers will no
longer tolerate empty promises. And finally, Obamacare critics push back
as tax credits may get extended to protect families. Byron Donalds,
the black Florida MAGA Republican and vocal opponent of Obamacare,
told Fox Business Today that he's not in favor of
extending subsidies from the affordable care law, calling the approach
(03:51):
a failure and destructive to the healthcare system. Instead, he's
pushing for state level reforms. Nevertheless, many House Republicans are
expected to join Democrats voting for an extensionable Bioacare text credits,
which prevents millions from losing coverage. Failing to extend them
could mean premiums doubling or even tripling by the new year.
