We're super confident we're going to get it across the
line and finish, so we're excited.

as housing demand remain soft, and with that story, Bloomberg's
Alexis CHRISTOFFERUS.

Luxury home builder Toll Brothers says more affluent customers were
willing to trade up to a new home last quarter,
even if it meant selling an existing home and giving
up a cheaper mortgage rate. It also helped that rates
plunged from almost seven percent to below six point three percent. Builders,
including Toll, have been leaning more heavily on incentives, such
as mortgage rate buydowns to attract buyers. Told Brothers also

(02:47):
warned that it will deliver fewer homes than expect it
in twenty twenty six.

Speaker 1 (02:51):

Next Era is the big clean power developer that's been
pivoting into natural gas generation, preferred by President Donald Trump.
The shares declined as investors questioned whether the company could
make that switch. A Jeffreys analyst attributed the drop to

of an AI driven rally tempered sentiment. As for the
inflation outlook, Kevin Gordon is head of macro Research and

(04:11):
Strategy at Charles Schwab.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
I think that the inflation backtrop is going to be
a little bit trickier in the sense that there's probably
some upside inflation risk from tariffs that are expected to
stay high, which have already put upper pressure on goods prices,
but also physical stimulus coming from the Big beautiful bill.
And I think still a even if it's a wobbly
