Doug Prisner. Tesla's shareholders have approved a one trillion dollar
compensation package for CEO Elon Musk. More from Bloomberg's Charlie Pellett.

It is the largest payout ever awarded to a corporate leader.
The unprecedented move at the electric vehicle maker's annual meeting
culminates a weeks long campaign by the board, the CEO,
and prominent retail investors to build support. The pay agreement
clears a path for Musk, the world's richest person, to
become the first ever trillionaire and expand his stake in

Radio, President Trump says Kazakhstan has joined the Abraham Accords.
The US has been trying to inject new momentum into
this initiative following the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas. Here's

is we are right now in negotiations or talks with
many countries that really wanted to come in, but they
couldn't because of the status of Iran. When Iran had

isn't anymore, they had a hard time going against that.

That's President Trump speaking there now. The move by Kazakhstan
to join the Abraham Accords is mostly symbolic, since the
country has had diplomatic relations with Israel for many years.
It's the thirty seventh day of the government shutdown and
House Minority Leader Hakim Jeffries is saying Republicans need to
work with Democrats to come to an agreement in order

to reopen the government.

It's a clown soil over in the Senate fourteen fifteen
times you bring the same partisan Republican spending bill to
the Senate flaw expecting a different result. That's the classic
definition a legislative insanity.

House Minority Leader Haakim Jeffries. Meantime, the Department of Transportation
is reducing the number of flights at some of the
nation's busiest airports. The aim is to ease pressure on
air traffic controllers working without pay during the shutdown. The
FAA is planning to order airlines to reduce ten percent
of their flight capacity across forty major airports. On Friday. Today,

airlines began to cancel flights nationwide. Here is Sam Graves, Missouri,

Well, as far as safety goes, you know, are the
sky safe, Absolutely, they are safe. And air traffic controllers
are still doing a great job. They're showing up and
they're doing a very very good job. Are there going
to be delays? Absolutely, there's going to be delays. And
obviously by cutting back on the number of flights to

these airports, it's going to impact folks. It's going to
have an impact on the holiday travels.

Jason sam Graves there, he is Republican Congressman from Missouri. Now,
the shutdown has also affected the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program,
and today a federal judge ordered the Trump administration to
fully cover the cost of SNAP for the month of November.
This will begin on Friday. This ruling came in response
to a challenge from cities and nonprofits. They complained that

the Trump administration was only covering sixty five percent of
the maximum benefit here is Vice President Jdvents.

It's an absurd ruling because you have a federal judge
effectively telling us what we have to do in the
midst of a Democrat government shutdown, which what we'd like
to do is for the Democrats to open up the government.
Of course, then we can fund snap and we can
also do a lot of other good things for the
American people. But in the midst of a shutdown, we
can't have a federal court telling the president how he
has to triage the situation.
