News, Sonny want it with Bloomberg News Now, I'm Denise Pellegrini.
Rapidly developing situation when it comes to Ukraine and the
war with Russia and hopes of ending that or President
Trump confirming he will meet with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky
Monday to discuss the end of Russia's invasion. European leaders, meantime,
are invited to come along with Zelensky to Washington, DC.

That is, according to The New York Times, President Trump
will discuss land swaps with Zolensky on Monday. The Coalition
of the Willing that's European group supporting Ukraine holding a
video conference tomorrow. Ahead of this, President Trump and Russian
President Vladimir Putin wrapped up their summoned Alaska on a
cordial note, but with little sign of specific progress on Ukraine.

We had an extremely productive meeting and many points were
agreed to.

President Trump says it's up is Zlensky to make a deal,

better to skip a ceasefire and go straight to a
peace agreement, and Putin today calling the conversation with President
Trump frank and substantive. He says Russia respects the US position.

visit was timely and quite useful. That's according to IFx. Meantimes,
Olenski saying on X he expects Russia's army to increase
pressure in the next few days. On Ukraine, President Trump
meantime says he's holding off hiking Chinese tariffs. He's citing
progress made with Vladimir Putin toward ending the war.
