Speaker 1 (00:03):
Brace for Winnings is a production of iHeart Radio. Brace
for Winnings presented by Draft Kings sports Book, your one
stop podcast for all things happening on the hard one.
Now here's your host, Sean Brace. Yes, and away we go.
It is March to seventh. I will also classify this

(00:25):
day as Championship Tuesday, as we have five championship games
going off today, but really four champions can get the
automatic bid into the Big Dance. This is Brace for
Winnings presented by Draft King sports Book, Shot Brace and
Joe Tansy with us here and Joe. Last night, a

(00:46):
lot of great games, won't Lydia barely caught any of
the Gonzaga game. Got home, ended up watching b b
Yu climb out of a twenty six point davasit to
cut it down to three, and was entertained by that,
but it really did not make it much further after that,
caught like the tip off for Gonzaga and that was

(01:08):
about it. But did you stay up for the whole
game and Gonzaga? No, no, no, I didn't nothing wrong
with that. I actually I got to about ten o'clock
last night and I realized what kind of pickle, I
put myself in and I'm like, I didn't look. I
got all ahead of myself because I stayed up for

(01:29):
that San Francisco Santa Clara overtime fiesta on Saturday night
at like three am. But I was also like buzzed
off caffeine because I was I was writing soccer um
that night, so I was like, oh, there's a reason
why I was actually up. I actually I woke up
at like one and like the TV was still on

(01:51):
the bedroom and caught like the score and tried to
do like a quick math to see the over um.
And I just checked this morning. We were four points
short of the over But I thought process was San
Francisco got this? Yeah they didn't. Knzacka just didn't get
to ninety know you're right, You're right, Um, good games
all across the board yesterday one quick one you had Furman?

(02:14):
Did you have Furman? And I had Furman? Wow? So
I mean, dude, that's great call by you. Great call.
So the early I guess the first week predictions went
two and four. Furman and Kennesaw State came through for
US youngstownd State. What a what a garbage performance is
the top seed in the Horizon League LASS date. But

(02:34):
but let me back you up though two and four.
I mean, but what we're what we're to pay days
on the two yeah, and then the other four we're
even money right as far as the loss is concerned,
I mean plus one twenty and plus three hundreds. So
if I put yeah, so I ended up winning what
sixty out of probably the fifty five or sixty up
but down? So and we're not counting Kansas is something
that you said on the on the air, but you

(02:56):
didn't put it in the article. So you're not counting King. No,
we're not can not counting Kansas and Miami in that article.
But but you're not even coming in Miami right here either. Well,
Miami was the one I gave out on Eric about
a month ago. So yeah, that in Kansas or they're
in their own category. I'm talking you say two and
four Conference Torma, he had Furman, and who was the
other winner had Furman in Kennesaw State, Youngstown State lost.

(03:20):
I took a shot in the Big South on Winthrop.
They didn't make it their first game. Um who else
did I have? I think I still have it up
and I don't have enough. But yeah, there were a
bunch of m Morehead State was one. They lost us
the top seed in the OBC and Selby misslost us
the top seed in Sun Belt. So um, a lot

(03:41):
of the top seeds went down over the last week,
which is which which is a good thing for the
n I T field. You know it's gonna be the
United States exactly, all right, be sure to follow Joe
at j Tanzy nine zero, Ritam at Bleach Report dot com,
and of course over at Fox PHL Gambler dot com
as well. Let's go ahead and hit the fast more
button and get over to tonight's games. But before we

(04:01):
do that, got an interesting question for you, and this
is this is a program that I feel like we
all know very well, even though a lot of us
don't watch these games until you know, look, not specifically
talk about me and you here, but a lot of
the you know, the the neutral college hoops fans, they
know Gonzaga, but they don't really know them until March.

(04:23):
But this is a program that we have watched through
and through over the years, and each year it seems
like they're getting bigger and better. Mark Few is doing
a hell of a job out there. I'm curious though,
as we are winding down in Drew Timmy's career and
we got Gonzaga going off tonight in the final WCC,
here is Drew Timmy the goat as far as Gonzaga

(04:46):
players are concerned. In your opinion, he's probably on the
Mount rushmore with Adam Morrison, Dan Dickoo, and I don't
know who the fourth would be. You couldn't put him
above those other two. You couldn't. You just want to
make it even across the board. There's nothing that pushes

(05:07):
you to say Drew Timmy is better than those guys.
As far as in a Gonzaga uniform, I guess he's
he's there. Maybe tricks back with me, definitely, Maybe check
back with me in three weeks because like it makes,
it makes the whole world of difference if he cements
his legacy of getting to the final four again and

(05:32):
they do something which I'm tempted. I'm gonna watch tonight
see what I see against Saint Mary's. But I've been
Gonzaga to win the tournament. Has gonna been dangling in
front of me like a carrot for the last two
weeks and I'm constemplating firing on it just as another
team to root for in the tournament. So I think

(05:54):
they're a dog too tonight against Saint Mary's, or at
least kempam has them losing the Saint Mary's, which is
which doesn't happen often, if at all, in the West
Coast Conference. Like Saint mary this version of Saint Mary's
is the best version of Saint Mary's at Gonzaga's gotten,
which which is why tonight's WCC Championship game probably ends

(06:16):
up being better than previous years, even though Saint Mary's
always has thought they had a shot at gon Zenaga,
just because now you have two top twenty teams going
at it. No, Yeah, and obviously we're going to hit
that game in great detail here. Of course, going off
of what we saw last night, that's got to play
into it. These two teams have already played two times
already this year, so that plays into it. So really

(06:37):
looking forward to breaking that one down. Yeah. I came
across a really good article on CBS Sports dot Com,
and of course, look as years go on, numbers go up,
so it's really tough for me to sit here and
spit all the stats he has because we know the
game has evolved, the game has changed. It's just it's
fun to have that conversation. I mean, Sugs isn't on

(06:57):
that on that list for you, um, who are somebody?
Because he was he was there for a year. That's
why it's kind of hard to put them as like
a great But yeah, I mean, Timmy can if you
feel like we're not talking about Gonzaga this year, and
maybe that's a good thing, maybe that's a bad thing,

(07:18):
but like, deep down in my gut feeling is, hey,
we might be talking about Gonzaga a little bit more.
Come selection Sunday and come to build up the tournament.
You know there their experiences all can be and you
know it's Timmy's last ride. That can be a powerful

(07:39):
motivating factor. Is there something that would push you where
is Gonzaga going to be if if the tournament was today?
Where is what seed are they believe they'd be? Like
a three or four? Is there a one seed in
your mind? If the bracketts started today, Gonzaga had to
play them in a Sweet sixteen, Elade eight matchup whatever

(08:00):
it may be, a neutral court that you think that
they matchup well and could very well beat them. I
think if you get if you can get Purdue uncomfortable,
that would be the good one. That's a good one.
That would be the way to go because as yes,
Zach Eady is much taller than Drew Timmy, but Drew
Timmy knows all the Dark Arts playing in the paint

(08:21):
like and you can get him frustrated so easily. Um,
maybe maybe you see maybe uclagan zag a battle for
you know, West Coast supremacy in the in the West region.
That was that was that a Bill Walton line. The
Dark Arts have been playing in the paint because that's
a great line. That is a great line. That's more,
that's more of my soccer background company. Because the dark

(08:42):
the Dark Arts are like all the time wasting tactics,
people using concacalf um, which, by the way, I tweet
I tweeted yesterday the convergence of Champions League. The Union
are playing in cockycalf Champions League. I got an molesque
game to cover on Saturday night and Championship Week all
in one. There was gonna be a there, there was
gonna be a soccer reference stay. So the over under

(09:06):
it is under a half day I'm happy you went
with the soccer reference with the dark arts and not
an Aaron Rodgers reference with the darkness. So nice word
by you on that one. All right, let's get to
the game this week. Yeah, you're right, let's get to
the game, because everybody wants to hear your picks, your plays.
We got a big card acc open it up. The

(09:29):
whack is opening up as we went over with the
finals happening tonight, and and that's where I want to start.
I want to start. Of course, let's stay with the
Gonzaga Saint Mary's DraftKings as its two and a half
point spread, Gonzaga favorite. This game is tipping at nine
sharp nine sharp one thirty nine and a half is
your total year, Joe. These two teams have played throughout

(09:49):
the course of the season, just recently. Of course, what
we saw last night, that's where I really want to
start with you. Is there anything that comes into play
in your mind with what Saint Mary's just went through
last night? And maybe it was a shock to the system,
maybe it was a wake up call, maybe it was
a good thing. I don't know, But when you're handicapping

(10:10):
tonight's final, anything from last Night's two games either way,
Does that go into your factor as far as who
you're going to take in this championship game this evening, No,
because I'm taking the over. Um, I'm taking it one
thirty nine and a half. Both meetings this season in
the West Coast Conference went over this number. They both

(10:31):
had a minimum of one hundred and forty five points.
So that's where I look at this game. UM. I
think last night second half, mainly the last five or
so minutes the Saint Mary's by U game was Saint
Mary's just getting complacent and just looking forward to today.
I don't put I don't put too much stock in that.
By the way, I messed up benzat I guess the

(10:51):
two and a half four favorite not Saint Mary's. Yeah,
But let me follow up this kin Pom have Saint
Mary's winning, Yeah, I believe so. I think it was
just a one point margin of victory. But Saint Mary's
seventh in ken PM, So that's it's different than the
than the ape where the ape has Gonzaga ahead. Saint
Mary's rates really well with the metrics because their defense

(11:14):
is really good. I think Gonzaga is gonna try and
push the pace a little bit. Saint Mary's is gonna
have to score into this game, and I think that's
where the line for me is drawn with the over is. Yeah,
Saint Mary's could try and hold Gonzaga and slow down
the game, but both of these offenses are efficient, and
I think just by the skill level of both teams,

(11:38):
we can get to one forty. I think that you'll
very easily see the game in the seventies. I would
be stunned if either team gets held below sixty five.
In this just it just feels like a high level
basketball game where shots are gonna be made, Defensive plays
are gonna be made, but they're gonna be It's not
gonna be the lockdown for a four minute stretch. Gonzaga

(12:01):
can score bunches. Sat Mary's can score punches. I just
think this total is a little too low based off
the previous two meetings they've had, and they split in
the regular season. So it's just with the points spread
or the total that's the big thing for you, going
off of what we saw this year, knowing these two
teams throughout the course of a full season in our face,

(12:22):
and of course last night, scoring a bunch of points
both games. You like the over in this game, not
a lean either way on either team. Just too difficult. Yeah,
it is too difficult to me. I'm mainly using this
as a as a research tool for if I want
to put that future on Gonzaga, and if they look

(12:43):
really good, I'm probably gonna take a stab at it.
But I know we'll see points and this is a
really low total for Gonzaga. It is, it is yep.
I agree with that, totally agree with that. Last time
they did play, Gonzaga got the best of Saint Mary's.
Of course, that was on their home floor, seventy seven
to sixty eight. So that number seventy seventy sixty eight,

(13:05):
that would be one one five. I'm not a math whiz.
I'm not a math. WI was like Kyle Pagan, um,
but I just I just did I just did the
n I did the numbers earlier to make sure the
total matched up. So that's why I know that number
of the top of my head. Nice but and that
would go over to total there. Shout out to Kyle Pagan.
Oh my god, video is he wrapped my head in

(13:28):
a pretzel and I'm still trying to unwland from that pretzel.
I enjoyed reading the comments. I did. I enjoyed reading
the comments for a very first time in a long time.
I was like, huh, and all the math nerds are
out ripping on them and then people are at it
was just it was funny to pay attention to. But anyways,
shout out to Kyle Pagan over crossing brought let's keep
it moving as far as college hoops are concerned. All right,

(13:50):
So you're on the over there in that championship game,
next championship game, next final game. You want to discuss
the Horizon League. Northern Kentucky and Cleveland State both spring upsets.
Last night, Youngstown State was the favorite, the one seed
they know showed they just they didn't play great. And
that leads me to this game where the Rising League

(14:12):
is usually a high scoring league. But you'll notice the
total here is one twenty six. It's there for a
reason because one of these meetings between these two teams
this year was fifty seven to fifty six. They both
played some decent defense. But here's the way I put it, Sean,
is it's the championship game and you have to factor

(14:37):
in a little extra compared to a regular season game
because you're gonna have a few more fouls you're gonna have,
you know, say the gap is just five points with
like two minutes left. You know, who's to say these
guys don't start fouling and make it an extra five
or six points from where it needs to be. So
that's kind of what my approach is with this game.

(14:59):
It's a low total for a reason, I get it.
But with that I see a little bit about opportunity.
I could see this game maybe going four or five
points over the projected total just because of the dynamic
of a championship game, Like you're gonna see runs, you're

(15:20):
gonna seem extra free throws. Does do the wrefs come
into this and have a fighter whistle? You know, that's
always a thing you have to prepare for. So for me,
just my personal mindset with championship games is if this
total is low, like it is at one twenty six,

(15:40):
you have to think that there's you build a little
bit of a cushion there because of the extra variables
of a of a championship game. I have no you know,
kind of data to back that up. It's just kind
of a gut feeling where when I watch championship games,
they're played differently than a regular season game on a
home floor. There's a ton of emotion flowing. You know,

(16:02):
these guys could could play different team to get into
bonus much quicker. And I think it comes down to
free throws. We're getting a few extra points here. So
it's kind of where my my brain operates on this.
And Plus, whenever I see a low total, I'm like, oh,
how can it do? Over? And that's one twenty six

(16:22):
ring spells for me with March madness, right Like, anytime
I see those numbers, I'm like, I had a great
tournament few years ago, just betting nothing but overs, and
then I think I gave it all back the following year.
But you know, you see these numbers one twenty six
and you just want to jump all over it right
there with you on that one all right? That game
is going off at seven o'clock two and a half.
As Joe pointed out, Drafting Sports Book, nor the Kentucky

(16:44):
one twenty six is your total? There? Hey, if you're
a new user out there, please use brace as the
promo code at Draftkicking Sports Book. Take advantage of everything
they have to offer. Of course, the madness is here.
It's no longer coming. We are front and center, right
in the eye at a storm. Championship Week is upon us.
Get involved in the action, brace, promo, code, drafticking sports book.
All right, nine o'clock, Summit League, let's go North Dakota State.

(17:08):
Oral Roberts. Oral Roberts is a halfty ten point favorite here,
one fifty three and a half. You're total on Draftkicking
sports Book. Oral Roberts the much better resume eighteen and
ol and conference to play twenty nine and four on
the season. North Dakota State the fighting Carson Wentz's sixteen
wins and sixteen losses eleven and seven in conference play. Joe,

(17:31):
this game is being played in South Dakota. Any advantage
there and your thoughts catching are given to in Oral Roberts.
So I think, and I don't know if you have
Charleston up on your on your screen here, but I'm
kind of gonna lump Charleston and orl Roberts together because
they're both big favorites, and they're both teams, at least
in the college basketball circles. They've been talked about a

(17:52):
lot this year, so or Roberts. We know that I'm
from beating Ohio State two years ago. Max Asmis is
still there is that's your name association point for everybody.
If we're Roberts wins tonight, Max saysmiss still there, still
scores a ton of points. UM. Or Roberts has been
the favorite in the sum League all season that they
have lost once since Thanksgiving, and that was to New

(18:16):
Mexico on the road. They've dominated the Summit League. This
is their tournament to to blues. UM. The only thing
with big spreads in championship games, I tend to stay
away from them. UM. And for me just I think
there are better spots on the board. So UM again,
gonna watch Well Roberts on the second screen with when

(18:38):
Gonzaga is playing UM, just to see, you know what
they're about. UM. But that's one of those where if
they get in which they're expected to, UM, they might
be a more popular pick than they should be because
of what happened two years ago. Like I think, I

(18:58):
think they're a very good team and they can score
with anyone. But how much are we going to value
orrel Roberts as a team that is its own different
entity from two years ago, Like that's that's the fear
I have when everybody ticks Oral Roberts as like the
twelve or thirteen seed, that might be the cautious tail

(19:19):
there and then for the CIA game because that the
spreads also big. Charleston's been a darling of college basketball
as well. They went sixteen and two in the CIA,
but I don't think they'll cover tonight. UNC Wilmington is frisky.
They played a two point game with Charleston earlier on

(19:39):
in the season. The other game they got blown out,
but you look at the way they played lasted against Hofstra,
who was the top seed in CIA. Took them the overtime,
won that game. They're playing with absolutely nothing to lose.
All of the pressure is on Charleston because they've been
the big dog in the CIA all season. So I
think if you do bet that game, you probably bet
UNC Wilmington and hope they can stay within single digits.

(20:03):
And that's kind of it's the same scenario playing out
in these two title games because Charleston and Oral Roberts
have been two of the best mid major teams all
season long, and all of the pressure is on them.
The other two their opponents should play a lot looser.
Does that benefit them? We'll see, But the ten on

(20:25):
each side just scares me a little bit because it
is a conference title game and there is so much
pressure on both of those teams to win. All right,
last final that I want to discuss with you. And
this is kind of the half because we already know
that Merrimac can't get in, but they're four and a
half point favorites one thirty seven and a half as
year total and this one taking up fairly. Dickinson and

(20:48):
once again, this is the Northeast Conference tournament final, and
Joe can go a little bit more detail and why
that team can't get in. But ultimately, as the spreadest concerned,
four and a half from the betting perspective, is this
a complete stay away? Like if somebody came to you
and said, well, one team's got a lot more to
play for and the other one knows that they're already in. Yeah,

(21:11):
maybe I want to just roll with the team that
has a little bit more to play for because it's
their last game of the year. Would you agree with
that assessment? Maybe fade or just a complete stay away
from the game. There's so many different angles you can
to take right. So Merrimack can't get in because they're
still in the transition period D two to D one.

(21:33):
It's a stupid rule, but they cannot be eligible for
the NCAA tournament because of that. So FDU, by virtue
of winning their semifinal game and being eligible already is
in the tournament and they're probably gonna be a sixteen steed.
You're probably gonna see him in dating. This could go
so many ways. FDU could just be like, Okay, we're in,

(21:56):
we have nothing to lose, let's go for it. Or
they could just be complacent. Merrimack can still win a
conference tournament title, which means a lot to them. The
motivation here just throws me for a loop, and it's
what I'm staying away from it. But I wouldn't blame
you if you said, oh, well, Merrimack, this is their

(22:16):
last game, they got to play for something. I believe
they're at home as well, Like I think, if you're
gonna bet it, you bet Merrimack because it is a
home game. But FDU also won both regular season meetings
and won both games by combined fifteen points. So there's
there's your mental Pretzel on the Northeast Conference Final. Nope. Hey,

(22:37):
I just wanted to hit on every conference final and
let everybody else make their own decisions on which way
they want to go. But I think that was a
very well good take, are very well, you know, thought
provoking take because it's just tough, but it's weird. Yeah,
deciding fact there might be that home floor for a
lot of people out there. It's hard to turn that down.
But we'll see how that one plays out, all right.

(22:57):
A couple other ones again, we got live action starting
in we're recording this. It'll be out by about noon.
We're recording an eleven thirty eleven thirty three. We got
you mass in Richmond, which I believe is an AC
if I'm not mistaken, I think you know. No, it's
not a boardwalk hall. No, it's in Brooklyn. The the

(23:17):
the Mac with two a's is in Atlantic City, correct,
thank you? Yep? Um, all right, anything there for you,
Massa Richmond, Just a ten second one for you. I
have not touched a lot of a ten off season long.
It's a weird conference with a bunch of average teams.
Uh yeah, No, I got nothing on nothing on the
eight ten today, all right, skipping over loyal or Chicago

(23:40):
and Saint Jose at two o'clock. Let's stay with two o'clock.
Let's go to ACC. You do have a couple ACC
plays Georgia Tech in Florida State. They're going off at
two pm. Here Georgia Tech a two point favorite on
Draftkiing sports Book. One of forty five is your total.
This game is being played in Greensboro, North Carolina. Joe Tanzy,
your thoughts where the ACC tournament should be every year?

(24:02):
Amen to that. There are some things you just don't
screw with, and the a SEC tournament being in Greensboro's
one of them. Not Bige's at Madison Square Garden. Well
that that never changed. The ACC is doing the whole
like you know, different year. Let's switch around like no,
no, no no, no, put it in Greensboro. It's where it belongs.
That that's book Conference tournament, UH Conference tournam league feels

(24:25):
like to me. The ANCC. The ANCC this year stands
for average crappy conference. I spent all morning making up
that acronym for you, sean UM, because that's one of
this It's it's beyond bad this year. Um. What that
being said, is there an opportunity for one of these
six teams playing today to make a run, like because

(24:47):
it's been so bad Virginia last year, right, nobody had them. Yeah,
and so this is where so just games alone, I'm
on Georgia Tech minus two. I think the number has
gone up two and a half against Florida State simply
because Florida State has lost six of their last seven.

(25:08):
Georgia Tech has won three in a row. And as
bad as their record is, they were six and fourteen
at conference play. The teams they've beaten down the stretch
they've won six of eight are Notre Dame, votech Louisville, Syracuse,
and BC. Four of those teams are playing today, so
at least they're kind of decent against the bad teams

(25:29):
mean something today, won't mean anything tomorrow. But Georgia Tech
minus two is the play on that one. And then
I'm on the Louisville BC over one thirty five and
a half. Louisville has just been just atrocious all season long,
a four win team. The one thing I will say
about about Boston College, though, you kind of look at

(25:50):
what they've done against the bottom six or in their case,
the five teams beneath them in the ACC, and a
majority of those games have been close. They beat Florida
State by six, they beat Gia Tech by six, They
only beat Louisville by ten at home, and they beat
Notre Dame by seven and went to overtime with Tech

(26:13):
the first time around. Like they've played close games, they're
not blowing out the teams around them in the standings.
I think kind of just as a water Finds level
type of game. Both teams, you know, this is kind
of the their last rob before they lose tomorrow to
a desperate North Carolina team. So I'm going to take
the over in that one. Entertain me, do something for me,

(26:36):
dance for me, Boston College and Louisville's four thirty in
the afternoon, and eat something. Um here's where it gets
into interesting, Sean, I've looked at this for a good
forty eight hours now. You've mentioned Virginia Tech. They won,
they won the ACC tournament last year. The bottom half

(26:56):
of that bracket is gross. They should beat Notre Dame day.
I'm not I don't have to play in the game itself,
but they should be Notre Dame, Notre Dame gave it
all for Mike Bray's final home game, and that's it.
He's out the door. NC State has been really bad
down the stretch, Clemson really bad down the stretch. Do

(27:17):
we see a path for Virginia Tech, the team that,
as we just said, want it all last year? I
think it's a seven seed. Can they make it to
the semifinals? Like, that's the question I've been asking myself.
And I'm looking at Virginia Tech at plus three thousand
to win the b ACC tournament. So I wouldn't suggest
this on in any of the other major conferences because

(27:40):
the ACC is so bad. NC States beatable, Clemson is beatable,
and then you get to the semifinal, and who knows
who you might be playing. Does North Carolina give Virginia
a run for its money? Because they're so desperate and
they're on the bubble and they make the semifinals and
then all the emotion just kind of gets sucked out

(28:02):
of them and they don't play well the semis. I
look at this, and you know, I've kind of circled
Virginia Tech for like six weeks as a team that
could get hot. They haven't. I'm not gonna I'm not
gonna play it because it's very unlikely they win five
games in five days. But are they? Are they a team?

(28:24):
Maybe the next two days I play as an underdog
on the spread, absolutely, like I'm on my ind that
bottom part of the bracket where I'll be honest with you,
North Carolina might come out of it just out of
pure desperation, Like Virginia is not Virginia. They've had some
struggles offensively, and they're not as great as they have
been defensively. North Carolina. There's something to say about desperation

(28:46):
this time of year. You know, who's to say they
can't get on a run save their their NCAA tournament lives?
And and then who knows? Who knows how this Plus
it's a bad look off. UNC Asheville is in the tournament,
and UNC Wilmington is in the tournament, and UNC Charlotte's
in the tournament, and UNC everything else is in the
tournament and the top dogs aren't end there. They're not

(29:09):
in jeopardy, are they? It's in North Carolina? Where are
they at? As far as the bubble is concerned, They're
outside it right now. Yeah, they're they're They're well outside
it right now. So they gotta beat Virginia. They gotta
beat Virginia in the quarters on Thursday. Um, they should
beat DC or Louigal pretty handily on tomorrow. Yeah, but
I think this comes down to whoever wins that Miami

(29:31):
Duke semifinal wins the ACC. Yeah, but I have Virginia
Tech Circle was a team that could make a at
least make a run to maybe the quarters, maybe even
the semis, depending on the bracket plays out. Um, yeah,
that's kind of I watched Virginia Jack play Miami really
well two weeks ago, I think it was, and that

(29:54):
was an impressive victory from Miami to go in there
and get that dub. That made me a believer it
and what they were doing at that point in time.
But essentially, if you're you're talking thirty to one, I
love the logict right now. Just to let everybody know,
Duke plus two ninety, Virginia three to one, Miami plus three, forty,
UNC plus six, fifty, Clemson plus six, fifty, NC State

(30:14):
twelve to one, Pittsburgh fourteen to one, Virginia Tech thirty
to one. We'll stop there. But you know, great, great money,
right there as far as that's concerned. On that one, Yeah,
I'm not gonna better because I don't think they could
win five and five, but it's it's not out of
the question for them to win maybe three games. Yep,
agree with you on that one. All right, let's do

(30:36):
a real quick recap for all your plays because everybody's
listening right now. We're coming down the home stretch. Tomorrow.
We'll be hitting on all the other conference tournaments, of
course that get going. A lot of them do on Wednesday,
and there's some different ways of going about or staying
away from the conference tournaments and really firing. I read
an interesting article about Yukon and how we should be

(30:58):
looking at them for the Big East tournaments. So we'll
discuss all that tomorrow. But real quick, Joe, recap your
plays for everybody, please one more time. Yeah. So the
four I already gave out Georgia Tech minus two that
lines of two and a half fights still take it
there because of pob bad. Florida State's playing Louisville Boston
College over one thirty five and a half, got North
Northern Kentucky, Cleveland State, and Horizon League Championship over one

(31:20):
twenty six, Zag's Saint Mary's at over one thirty nine
and a a half. I have four more. I'm gonna spit
them off rapid fire to you. Two of them from
the Southland Conference. I know, your favorite conference in the world.
Embrace absolutely everyone out there's favorite conference. I'm playing the
top two seeds in the tournament to Nate Texas am
Corpus Christie at minus nine and a half and Northwestern

(31:41):
State at minus seven. Why am I doing that, you ask, well,
the south Yeah, I know, that's exactly what the question
everyone is. The Southland uses a ladder bracket, so the
number one and number two seeds enter in the semi finals,
just like Gonzaga and Saint Mary's doing. The West Coast Conference.
The two teams they're playing tonight, eighth seed McNeese State
plays a M Corpus Christi and seventh seed New Orleans

(32:03):
places with Western State. Those two teams have already played
two games in two days. They had to win on
Sunday and had to win on Monday. I think they're
gonna be gassed out. I think there's gonna be a
time in the second half where their legs just go.
Maybe they're competitive in the first half try and keep
these runs going. But these are the two best teams
in their conference, and I really think that shows in

(32:25):
the second half. So I like both of those picks
for that logic. I have two other real quick I
have Montana at five and a half in the Big
Sky Tournament against Northern Arizona. Northern Arizona is another one
of those teams they've played. They've played twice already in
the Big Sky Tournament. They had off yesterday, but their

(32:46):
big emotional win was beating the one seed Eastern Washington
and using the same exact logic as I did in
Southland with this game, I think Montana ends up showing
there the better team and winning that game. The five
and a half, and then finally, for one last time
this season, I get the fade Calpa all out in
the Big West. They were one in eighteen in conference play.

(33:08):
They're on a eighteen game losing streak. They've been competitive
in some but not against Long Beach State, who they're
playing tonight. Long Beach State minus nine and a half.
Long Beach one the two regular season meetings by nineteen
and eighteen points. I've been fading cal Poly all year
so it'd be off brand if I bet cal Poly

(33:28):
in the late night Big West game. So Georgia Tech
minus two, Louis O Boston College over Northern Kentucky, Cleveland
Stayed over a and M. Corpus Christi minus nine and
a half, Montana minus five and a half, Gonzaga Saint
mary Is over Northwestern State minus seven, and Long Beach
State minus nine and a half. We're really digging deep

(33:49):
into the weeds before the Power Conference tournaments start next tomorrow. Well,
if your March madness expert is not talking about fading
cal Poly and staying on brand, then you're just in
the wrong place, all right. That's Joe Tanzy Fantastics from
start to finish as usual. We'll be back again tomorrow.

(34:10):
We're trying to give it to you daily here, getting
you set up for success when it comes to wagering
on all things college hoops. Joe Fantastic stuff as usual.
We'll be watching you on the timeline. Good luck on
all your plays, enjoy the action, and we'll talk tomorrow.
My friend. I'm sure you'll be staying up super linked
with that cal Polly Long Beach Steak in. Maybe maybe

(34:31):
I die. I doubt it, though. I'm gonna be in
for Gonzaga and Saint Mary's, and I don't know if
I'll touched the channel too much there after that one,
and I'll be fading off the abyss, but we'll be
bringing I have a two weeks supply of Celsius coming
in from Amazon today, so I am. I'm more than
prepared for March. You're a sick of Joe, great stuff, man,

(34:52):
We'll catch up tomorrow. I'll talk to you tomorrow. Brace
